it's time to follow a brad mondo hair cutting tutorial again because we all know its way more fun to destroy your hair yourself than let a professional do a good job. and tbh my hair is super damaged anyway so even if the butterfly hair cut fails it'll always be better than what I have know.

All right, hey, hello, everybody. How are we all doing on this beautiful and sunny day? At least it's sunny here? I don't. I don't know where you are. I have been on the path of growing my hair out and I have to be honest, everything is going pretty good. So far I mean look, my hair is so long already. Oh my God isn't that insane I mean I used to be bald. Okay - and this is all the hair that I have right now - it's so long, it's so nice, oh my gosh, but it's also very dead. Who would have thought that bleaching, your hair 10 times is going to damage it? Look, I generally don't really care about having damaged hair. I mean I've had damage here for over. I mean I've been bleaching, my hair for so long that it just feels normal for me to have crusty hair. But since I am on a path of having long luscious healthy hair, I do need to cut like a little bit of my hair off because it is not so pretty. Today, I'm going to try and cut my hair a little bit a tiny bit, I'm not going to like shave it off! I'M not going to give myself a bob, I'm going to try to keep it as long as possible, but still take like the unhealthy out of it, my hair's so long. I really just cannot stop talking about how long my hair is, because this is insane but yeah anyways hey. This is my hair. Let me show you like a 360 right now or like a 180. You would think that I got like a mallow into it, because I do have a enough layers, but that's literally just the way that it grew out. I'Ve never really got a model into it. I mean I have got it a few times in the last year or so. Like I cut a little bit of the back off, I tried to cut like a little bit of these parts off because it was super dead, so I did cut it a few times also bangs, obviously, but I never really cut a model into it. So right now it is just basically a mismatch of like different hairstyles, since I want my hair to be as long as possible at the end of this video, I'm not going to cut myself a bob, even though that would probably be the easiest thing for me To do and it will get rid of a lot of the Dead hair, but I'm not gon na do that. So I think the best thing for me to do is to follow a butterfly hairstyle tutorial, because those are like very layered hairstyles, and I think that would work with my hair right now. I could also go for the wolf Cuts hairstyle, but I'm trying to grow like the front Parts out because with a wolf cut, you do take like a lot of hair from the front part, and I don't want that. So I think a butterfly cut to be better and I'm pretty sure it's also a very easy hairstyle to cut, because I think you only need to make like two ponytails and then cut those ponytails. But I'm not sure. So let me just look up a tutorial before I start attacking my hair: let's do it so you have to do the butterfly cut today. It'S so easy, let's get into it all you're gon na do first is make a straight line across your head from behind the ear to the other. Behind the ear now put a ponytail in the front of your head and make it look like a unicorn. Now we're just gon na do a really high Ariana Grande style Pony in the back boom. This should be called The Unicorn cut. I don't know who messed that up now cut off a good amount of hair you're not going to see the results. Unless you cut a lot off, I got like four inches off the front and the back and then once we let it down you're gon na see all of that really really beautiful face framing now just connect the sides I'm going to style it with some diapers Moving oil and blow it out and boom look at how much layering she has. Oh, my God, this blunt looks iconic. With this cut he cut off so much hair. I don't want to cut off that much hair. Ah I'm literally so scared right now, but yeah. Unless you let's just get started also, I got some actual hair cutting scissors. Yeah. I'Ve had these for a while now and they were only like seven euros, so there is still not good, but I they're probably better than my kitchen scissors, so also yeah. I just got a piece of my hair off. I don't know why I did that started. So, first things. First, I got ta Whip My Hair. So let's do that so this entire haircut can apparently be done with making only two sections which is very exciting. For me, because I want to put in the least amount of effort possible, so first section I have to make a ponytail and move it like forward. Without enough, I forgot a feeling. That'S like super crooked, I'm pretty sure I had to go like behind the air, and this is like wait. Wait wait, wait, wait! Let me look at it again before I ruin everything Brett. What do we have to say about it? Okay, behind the ear come behind the ear to the other behind the air. This is behind the air. This is the behind here over here. Okay, I feel like this is like way too much hair. This looks like a lot of hair. Is that right? Okay, I'm just gon na check it in the mirror real quick, because I feel like I've done like way too much: um, okay boy, oh yeah, boy, cute outfit enough for the back section now for that, it's out for the back section um I got ta. Take everything that's left on my head, I got ta put it up in a high ponytail. Oh my God is this cute foreign that I came here for, and I just cut my hair off. How much do I have to cut off? I think like this is that too March because, like I have layers that start over here, so if I cut this off, I think that would make sense. Then right, oh no, it's a little bit crooked, but let me just try it again. I I also kind of feel like I should cut more off, but let's first try to make this straight foreign I feel like. I should take more off, but on the other hand I feel like. I should probably just look first how this is looking before. I got even more hair off, you know, cutting it goes a lot faster than growing it out again. Oh my God. I think it actually works. Damn because, like my hair is still super long well, I would have got a super long, but it's still reasonably long. Like I don't feel like a lot of the length has been cut off, which we love to see. I mean that also does mean that the ends still feel pretty dead. Let'S just do this thing: let's just do the big boy on top. Let'S try to make it a little bit straighter, though foreign, by making it straighter. I just made it more crooked nah, it's fine, whatever, whatever this is the moment of truth, is it gon na look good or am I gon na? Look like an idiot? Oh! Oh, my God, so stuck in there. Let me comb it through. Oh, my God, I really think did this actually worked, my hair is still so long. Does it mean that I didn't cut enough off of it? Maybe it does because is there, because is there like a lot of difference right now? I can't really telling the sides are definitely shorter. We have layers in the back. I mean those aren't really that short. This one is Tiny, though hmm um, I do have to say that, like the place where I wanted, the least amount of hair cut off is the place where I got like most of the hair cut off, because this is very short now did. I do it wrong. Well, I literally cut so much hair off of the front. I'M just gon na blow dry my hair and see what it looks like when it's dry hello. I blow dried, my hair, I kinda, I'm not gon na do it, but I really want to have like a Dyson air wrap like I'm, not gon na spend that much money on a blow dryer like that is insane in my world, like not gon na. Do that, but I do feel like I can really use it because, especially since my hair is so dead, I think it will be very nice if I could like blow dry it in a nice model, because now I like blow dry it and then I have To put like a ton of product in it because it just looks dry and crusty, should I buy one I'm like. I just want to ask everybody who bought the Dyson air rep? Do you regret it, or are you happy that you bought it and like do you still use it? You know because I do feel like a lot of people end up regretting their purchase because just crazy, expensive anyways, look at my hair um, not a whole lot. Has changed, obviously, because I didn't take that much off I mean I did take a decent amount of like this is like half of it that I took off, so I definitely do see like a difference. Luckily, not in the length like I feel like it's still pretty long, but it also means that my hair is still like dead at the ends, but maybe I just have to like live with it. For now I don't know, but the layers feel a lot better, because that's where, like the most hair, was cut off and also this haircut is making my hair girl look at hands only on this side, of course, because you know he can't have it all. But look at it, isn't it beautiful? It'S like legit girls like I didn't style it that way. This just happened while it was drying, so that's kind of cool, if only it was symmetrical, though that would have been a lot better, but right now maybe I just have to look like this to talk to people like this hey I have curls. Let me just show you the back of my hair, I mean, did it change a lot? I don't think it changed that much honestly, I'm I'm not sure. If you can actually see a difference, I mean I think it's funny, because it's literally like the smallest hair transformation, I've ever done to myself, but I still think it works. I'M just gon na keep it like this. For now, I'm just gon na look at it. For like the upcoming few days and see how it's gon na sit and everything, and then I can decide after that, if I have to take more off because yeah, it's still dead the ends of my hair. I have seen a lot like they've seen a lot. I'M not exaggerating when I say that I think that the ends of my hair have been bleached like 10 times foreign. I mean considering how much I've done to it. It still looks pretty nice right. I mean no, it's not healthy, but it's also not falling off. Of my heads, which is something that people have been telling me for years, everybody says that my hair is going to fall out eventually, but no sign of hair falling out so far, so I think I'm good. I think my hair just really wants to stay here. So yeah this was today's video with my new hairstyle, but I can't believe I have curls curls. I love it and by the way I like the piece at the front that I thought and I got too short - it's actually like blending in with the rest of my hair pretty nicely, so I think there was actually like a smart decision. I think it looks better now than it did before, because I just Blends in all together - oh my God, I'm a professional, so yeah um. Let me know in the comments down below what you think of my hair, and I want to thank you all for watching this video and hope to see you in my next video bye-bye

Gerðr: The haircut saga continues, it's been yearssss. Lindy is basically a pro at this point

vagrantones. *music diaries*: It improved the overall look of your previous haircut!

Tyler: The side parts blend so much more smoothly with the back now! It looks great

Susie Tomkins: If you like the curls you should give the try the curly girl method - you might be surprised by how curly your hair actually is. My friend who tried it thought she just had thick frizz prone hair, did it for a month and she's got gorgeous curls now. It's also good for vivid and dry hair as you don't wash it lots and you use oils and leave in conditioners so it really hydrates it too.

ghouliegarou: I actually see a huge difference. Looks great!

Katelyn Pratt: I got the dyson airwrap and definitely do not regret it, it makes blow drying and curling so easy which I always sucked at so nothing but praise from me! Love your videos, your impulsive energy gives me life ❤

Emma: Forget the Dyson- the best thing you can do for your hair is stop aggressively ripping through it with your comb, especially while it is wet!! It genuinely makes a huge difference Also— when you do the butterfly cut that way you have to cut the ends separately. It would be good if you just cut a few cm off of just the ends rather than doing the butterfly cut shorter because you already trimmed your layers. If you do it again, the layers will be too short and still will hardly reach the ends. Just separately cut ends. I hope that helps :) It looks lovely by the way!

Miaow McDonald: aw Lindy! you look phenomenal with that cut! it’s a subtle difference, given it a better shape to grow out. it looks great - the vibrant red and dark roots. such a vibe!!! you are the queen of home made hair… love ya ❤

peacefulrain214: I do see a difference and it looks good ! Love those waves your hair naturally does makes a style that suits you. With that said what’s the next haircut gonna be ❤

Mia: It suits you so much basically you rock every hairstyle

wheresagegrows: It looks fresher for sure! I would say that both a "butterfly" cut and a "wolf cut" both have very short layers in the front, and especially considering your hair was already shorter in the front I'm not surprised at how short those layers got next time you do a trim I would say just cut the back layers using this method, and cut the front by taking little vertical slices starting at the front hairline, pulling the hair out straight forward, and cutting so that the hair is shortest at the top to longest at the bottom. Then cut taking slices and pull them across your face to maintain the most length. Hope that helps, it's hard to describe in words without showing you!

Trin Murray: How is your channel still this small? You are a hidden gem on YouTube

O'Neil-S.D: I think your hair looks great also, there are some really good Dyson hair wrap dupes that you can buy. So, I would probably look in to that 1st. I've seen people using them Next to their Dyson and they can do just as good a job if not better.

Bonnie Dryden: The skinny eyebrows look SO good on you Lindy!!

rayuu: I did the butterfly cut a while back to the same degree you did because I didn't want a drastic change but wanted to refresh my ends-- it does wonders to give your hair more shape without a drastic length change! it looks wonderful on you!

Lucas Official 🤍🖤: There’s definitely more shape and texture it looks nice. I got a Dyson dupe which literally does the same and I love it

Serenity : It looks a lot more cohesive now, awesome job. You look amazing in general, the hair, tattoos and makeup in this vid is just

Hannah Foley: Good job, this haircut looks great on you! Also, the red is such a vibe❤ love watching your videos

Suz Williams: Thank you so much for this video! I've needed a cut for a while and just couldn't be bothered going to the hairdresser (I'm usually not that in to the cut they do anyway, always seem to come out with the same style) so did this this morning. The only change I made was to point cut as blunt cuts really show up bad on mine. I LOVE it ❤ so happy with my hair for once and finally feel up to date and cool

Lauren Aronson: This cut really suits you. Excellent job

Haley Haas: You could always just use the shears that have the teeth (texturizes) on the ends of your hair to help get the dead ends off with out loosing length or a hair razor to blend those pieces in the front that stuck out but it looks great!

Fatmanur Arslan: im giving myself a haircut with this tutorial like once a month and all i learned is the longer the better. as my hair grows, i can cut the lower parts as well so the shape is getting better.

secrets of moon: omg you look so pretty with the shaved brows & red hair also I just realised how much you have influenced me throughout the years and how much that helped me to become someone who I think is really pretty (I finally like myself, yayy!!). I think watching your "eyeliner on hooded eyes" video was a key moment in the development of my make up skills. A few months ago I remembered that you dyed your eyebrows a darker color to make the hair more visible so I tried that too just for fun and I love it so much. You're one of my hair dying inspirations ofc, clothing style inspiration, hairstyle inspiration, etc

Angie PK: Looking good, Lindy! It's a subtle but healthy cut and it looks great! I did a wolf cut on myself following Brad Mondo's tutorial and I love how it came out. I think I will try the butterfly cut too when it grows out. :) x

symphonieeeee: i see a big difference!! the sides blend into the back way better, your layers have a better shape to them and it took a lot of the dead stuff off. you could def use a little trim on your ends since the length stayed the same and you can always thin it a little to make your ends whispy & help your layers blend BUT it already looks great as is!! i also loooove your bangs run so so cute

Femme Famke: The frontal layers frame your face beautifully, along with the vibrant colour, bangs and darker roots

M C: you slay all looks and that's a fact

LV: It came out so good! It’s not a massive change but it makes it look healthier and gives it a nice shape

Alexandra Dworak: I see a big difference! I shaved my head and am going thru the same grow out process as u! I unfortunately caved and ended up cutting to a bob. Your hair looks like it has a flowing style now! Looks fabulous

Lexis Prementine: Everything is a lot more blended and it looks good!! I will say the purpose of this type of hair cut is to give a lot of layers and keep your length because you’re taking everything to the top so the hair on top of your head is getting cut shorter than the bottom:)

Tasha Crawford: Side note, your hair looks so good straightened ❤

Addy Delirium: Great look! It suits lovely with the haircolor also. I tried the butterfly haircut myself a few months ago and was happy too. It's so easy and the final look is always pretty.

Monica Nonnen: I had dead hair and I used leave in coditioner every day and it improved. I don't think you have to cut any more, try the leave in conditioner! The butterfly cut made a big change and it suits you very well!

Viola olsson: You’re hair is looking sooo good ❤ you’re the best, you’re video are so entertaining

Julia Kirsty: I personally think the shape of the haircut is a lot nicer than before. And yah, it's normal that this technique takes most off of your front. That's also part of the essence of the haircut itself. I often times ask myself if people know that there is not a big difference between the wolf cut and the butterfly cut. The layers on the butterfly cut are usually longer, but shaped in the same way. I love both of these haircuts a lot. I think they are perfect for wavy and curly hair and give a nice shape you the hair and the head. But I think for my hair it would be a bit too much layering overall (my hair is just not that dense at the back of the head so the ends would look oddly flimsy) but for people like you, Lindy, this is actually a really nice haircut. Also don't worry too much about the front layers being that short. They are shorter now, but also blend into the haircut very well and will grow out more beautifully and effortlessly than the layers you had before. That's part of the beauty of this haircut, it looks amazing freshly cut and also lived in.

Katarina: It looks a lot different but in a good way. It has a much more even shape and the layers give it movement and texture. Very cute ❤

Chaenah Gleeson: I actually really like that butterfly hair cut. It's so cute.

Girl in too many fandoms: I tried this on my hair and I really liked the layers. You look great! ❤

Missi Denice: I love my dyson air wrap! I only use the curling function every few months, but I use all of the other attachments weekly when I wash my hair. I've seen a huge change in the health of my hair from it.

jess: it definitely looks like an improved version of what you had. so much healthier!

sonya: this haircut looks sooo good on you! i love it

Kylie Nagel: This added such a nice texture to your hair

luana haeser: I just got my hair cut like that and I really wanted a dyson to style it but I found that a heated round brush (not like the ones you use to dry it like the revlon one, smaller ones that are a bit thicker than a usual curling iron but with bristles) work great for styling shaggy hair.

Raquel Fox: Girl get yourself a good round brush and you’ll be good to go trust, btw I love you in red!! Keep letting it grow ❤

Melodie Bird: it looks really good! it doesn't look like you got a haircut it more looks like u upgraded ur current cut

Emily H: It looks more like a hairstyle now, not just a disconnected growout Ca5nt believe it's been so long since you shaved your head!

jenny hamel: It looks nice! You can totally tell if you go back and look at what it was before. I think it just looks more refined now!

barbarybcia: You’ve done a great job! It looks fantastic!

Marina Glass: loved this hair vid - u continue to slay crystal ❤ black/red tho imagine how much that’d slay

Pinky Hex: I really love this cut with the red! It's super cool

Lexie: The red is so pretty on youuu My hair dries curly at the ends when it’s healthy, maybe once you grow it out it will regain its natural wave!

Toulouse: Looks great! Love that haircut on you

PurplePeachArt: Your hair has a lot more layers and bounce. The red really suits you❤

Quetzal: it looks so cute on you, it really suits you

AnotherOpinion1997: I think it made a difference, it looks a lot more even imo. And if the ends are to dead for your liking you could just ask your bf to cut off like 2-3cm, your hair is that long by now that you probably can't really tell the difference:)

VERONICA BENNETT: Before you buy a Dyson, try the chi blowout brush! It’s like $100 but it literally made my hair feel completely different! Sooo good!

Andrew Hanson: It looks great! A minor change, but it feels like it made your haircut look more intentional if that makes sense

Rai: I have long.. Rapunzel LONG hair and it was looking kinda flat, specially at the ends since it is wavy so I followed Brad's butterfly cut and did maybe 5 inches at most, looked very good, not flat and didn't lose much length. I'm totally keeping this cut for a while

Jessica Childress: I love it!! you should try a curly hair hair routine one day and see if you have naturally curly hair!! they might be damaged but i would be interested to see that!

ChicagoSusieQ: I love it! ❤ If you used a diffuser I bet it would be wavy all over!

Annathiika: I got the airwrap when it first came out and initially I was a bit confused by it but I grew to understand how to use it and use it nearly daily. It rocks actually

mushy churro: I’ve been contemplating giving myself a butterfly cut for months and this might be my sign to do it

Gail Malones: You know, whenever I need a good laugh, your channel is my go-to ❤️

mushroom_moth: I actually see a massive change and it looks fantastic!

Maria Parra: Wow YAASS❤ watching the result of your wolf cut and the before, the haircut was a great decision!!

Aimee T: It looks really cute on u I love it! I think u did the right thing by not cutting too much off at least for right now lol

Logan Lemonslice: The back looks great after the cut. Love it

Ms Fox: It changed A LOT. They look like they have flow now! I'm gonna do it too!

Bloomy Cookie: The haircut looks way nicer than before and cleaner you did a great job

anabananapopana: My mom has the Dyson air wrap and I used it several times when I visited my parents. All I can say is - don't do it. Yes, you can style your hair nicely, but it's not that you couldn't do it without it. You could just do the same thing with a normal hair dryer and a round brush or maybe get the revlon dupe for 50€ like I did. It's not worth 600€ (that's the price of it in Germany/netherlands) and you won't use it as much as you want to, because it also takes soooo long. Not to offend anyone - I think there are people where it's really worth it, but for most people it's just not , if they're honest with themselves :D

Juliet Capulet: That looks fantastic. It connects the bangs in a flowing way down (the sides).

Tiny Mew: Giiiiirl you can totally see the difference, it looks definitely better! You did good

Geekygirl78: ❤ it looks fabulous. So much more texture and shape. Especially in the back

belinda: I love it~!!! yeah the butterfly cut basically only cuts layers unless you cut off a lot more, it think it was a nice trim for you to even up your already grown out mullet look! and as for the Dyson, I personally really like it and I don't even style my hair that much. its just very fool proof for me and if there was a good dupe out there I'd say go for it. I got it on sale tho and my mom gave me a $150 gift card so I in no way payed full price lol

Shy knit: Your shoulder tattoos look so cool!

Betania Arellano Cano: It actually looks perfect!! Now I wanna do it to myself

Kate Ruth: you are so cute. js. like i don’t see how any one in the world wouldn’t be charmed by you

Leo Luna: If you wanna bring out your curls, I really suggest the curly girl method, it's basically just a different way that you have to treat curly hair for it to be the most healthy imo, the main things I take away from it is not brushing your hair after styling, and being rough on hair with towels, and certain types of ingredients are better for curly hair

Céline Debon: It looks sooo good on you !

Vivian Pinto: This haircut looks really good on you

Celine: Lovingggg the thin brows on you girl!!

Paul Boshom: For dyson - I mean I watch so many people having it and love it so I got myself one - I can honestly say that is the best purchase of last year I did - and yes you can totally use it for what it offer and more

Astrid Schoger: Lindy I was at a point in my life where I decided to stop running my hair and then I met you And here I am yet again Love demaging my hair

Keely Bell: I love the cut and I love the color!

XoLuciaXo_: Woah it’s looks soo good! And the back looks so much better, wow

Claudia Dietrich: I do have the dyson air wrap and I love this thing I have nearly the same hair length as you. Are you still using K18? I saw your video months ago and I’m using it since than and it’s so freaking good stuff

Dosenfurz9000: I have a dyson airwrap and i absolutely do not regret it. I have long, medium thick hair with curtain bangs, and it makes such a difference. I'm a reaaally lazy nugget, when it comes to hair. I hate spending time styling my hair with curling irons or straighteners just to get flat hair without volume in the end and still burn myself all over. So i never did fancy stuff. But with the airwrap i'm able to get all the nice hair styles that i wanted (blow-dry, bouncy curls etc) in max. 10min. And i won't get annoyed or lose interest in styling my hair. Also i think it's so nice because it's less damaging (less heat) and it's quieter. I love it. I'll never regret it.

Ale Riedell-Reynolds: We sell airwraps at my work, so I've talked to a lot of people about it. There is quite a learning curve, and that's why people just give up and stop using it. You'll have to do homework to use it but they've got a lifetime guarantee and they're pretty nice on your hair. Hope that helps!

Ok_Imagination: You definitely can tell the difference in the back it looks amazing

Ventzi Krasteva: I've got the Dyson Airwrap and the GHD duet styler and I absolutely love both of them.

Coco: You should try olaplex no 3. It really helps restore damaged hair, plus you can get good protien hair masks.

Margo Willo: The red suits you so much, im obsessed! ❤

Sahila: I love how your hair grows

sdrcow: Got the airwrap and was really irritated by it. I'm a licensed hairstylist (I love you btw) and I was excited to try it on several people. I'll say it works great.... on a select few people. On others, before half the head was dry the curls were falling. I played with it for over 3 months and finally decided to sell it. So... for you it May work... it may not... for the price it SHOULD work on EVERYONE lol. Just my opinion!~ There are blowdry roundbrush dryers (Blowout brush?) that get the same vibe and they are much cheaper so you might look into those instead! Side note: this cut is cute af

315Warhol: Love my Dyson ..husband got it for me, for my birthday, a few years ago and I still use it every time I wash my hair. I had to buy the extra longer rods, but worth it. I believe that Shark made a dupe and it's less expensive. The Dyson is stupid expensive and I never would have bought one myself, but it is very handy.

rachel_against: Your hair is definitely at least naturally wavy. If not curly. Maybe as many other comments suggest: try a "curly/wavy hair" routine? For a month or so. Would be a cool video ❤

Erica Place: I don't regret my airwrap. I cringe when I remember how much it cost.... but I still don't regret it.

Sarah Galatea: Lindy you look great! I would love to see you do a bob on your hair, I really think you would look so good with it, but I get not wanting it hahahah

Lene: It looks nice. Have you ever tried sulfate free shampoo? My hair is also very dry and it helps.

cat meyers: You inspired me to make my eyebrows thinner and I love it
