Hey guys for today's video, we are going to be testing out some more tick, tocks viral tick, tocks that i have found. So let's go ahead and get started, so i have a tick tock. If you guys don't follow me, i will put my tick tock right down here, so the first tick tock that i'm going to pull up it's by chris appleton. If you don't know who that is, he's a celebrity hair stylist. I follow him on here and this video got 38 million views. So if it has that many views, it's a good hack. So let's watch it here, so this hack is a way to make your ponytail look thicker. So, let's see so there's before and there's after so he's just tying that top section into a ponytail and then he's splitting the bottom section into two tying it above that top ponytail and then tightening it and look how voluminous that looks. It looks so good. So, let's try it! Here'S my ponytail before i will spin around show you guys what it looks like. So we can kind of compare so here's my ponytail before okay. So here i am just tying my hair into a half up ponytail. My hair was super tangly. Here and then i just took the bottom section to split it into two and then brought that section up over that ponytail and tied that section with a hair tie. So i had two ponytails on top of one another. So then, just tighten your ponytails honestly. I don't see much of a difference. Um i feel like it looks kind of weird it feels kind of weird i don't know i feel like if it was like a windy day and my hair was blowing. It would be like wouldn't be cute, so let me just i'll, let you guys tell me what you think: okay, but seriously, there's literally no difference, like maybe my ponytail's a little bit longer, but i just think it looks funny. It feels funny if your hair is bouncing around like no okay for the next hairstyle. I can't find who the original person is, that thought of this um there's a million videos on it, so i'm just gon na pick one um, so i follow this girl. Her name is joanna, so what you do is you split your hair into four sections, two ponytails on the bottom, with the top section you do just a regular three strand braid and tie it off and then you're gon na pull the ponytail through um and she Created little buns and that's it look how adorable, let's try it okay, i cannot get my part straight, so just ignore that i have a really messed up part right now in the back. So with my right section of hair, i split my hair into two sections. With the bottom section i tie into a ponytail with the top section. I do a regular three strand braid, i'm crossing my outside sections over my middle section, there's no dutch braiding. It is just a three strand braid. Once i reach my bottom ponytail, i tie it with a hair tie. Instead of doing a pony a bottom ponytail, i should have just done a messy bun, but it's okay, we're going to do a messy bun now, so i'm just taking my hair tie and i'm just pulling it down over that ponytail a little bit to create a Bun tightening it and then, with the ends hanging out, i'm just going to twist them around my finger and then wrap them around the base of the bun. All the way around so twist wrap twist wrap once you reach the ends, just tuck them up underneath and bobby pin. Okay, of course, my camera goes out of focus, but i open up my three strand braid. I just put my finger through one of the holes and i pull my bun through the hole, tighten it with the ends hanging out. I twist them and then just wrap them around the base of the bun and bobby pin. And then i just pancake the three strand braid, make sure it's nice and thick and it looks like a dutch braid, spoiler alert. I love this one. It looks so good. Okay, you guys have to try this hairstyle. It is so cute. It took me less than five minutes. Um dutch braids. Take me a lot longer, but this is a great alternative. So try it and let me know what you guys think, but i'm going to do a full 360, so you guys can see it from all angles. I give this one a thumbs up. I think this is really cool, so yeah try this one okay for this next one, this girl - i don't know if she uses any product - i don't know if the hair is wet. I am going to use the heat protectant because look how close she's putting that blow dryer to the hair. So she twists it and then she just blow dries it and just wait till you see what it looks like um. She lets it cool and then beautiful bouncy, almost like a blowout type of look. So i don't know i'm skeptical of this but we'll try it. So, let's give it a go. So i got my blow dryer and i have the attachment that kind of looks like hers. Obviously she didn't use this blow dryer. This is my shark. I haven't used it in months. I honestly never blow dry, my hair, i always just let it air dry. Okay, so i'm just going to take some heat protectant and i'm just going to spray it in my hair, because i don't want to damage my hair here and i'm just gon na section off that side and just twist it so she looks like she had a Pretty tight twist all right, let's give it a go. Okay, it has been plenty of time. I think it's been like five minutes now, so i'm just gon na brush my fingers through them and see what happens i mean i guess i kind of see it down down towards like the ends. Okay, this is just starting to be a flop. I don't. I don't know i didn't like that. I didn't like it. I'D rather use my curling iron and my curling iron would take like two seconds. I mean my hair had like a little bit of curl before anyways, and this just i don't know, don't don't waste your time, don't bother, don't do it! No! No okay! Hopefully this next one will be in our favor, because so far this video is not looking. The best - but this is a hot tools - crimper micro crimper, so this is supposed to give you volume. So so i'm going to put a video up here, it's of a girl using the volume crimper. So i was going to get the volume one, but it was 140 and i was like no. This one was 50 and i don't know i've heard of hot tools. Have you heard of volume? I never have so my hair, it's it's very flat, as you can tell so. If this works, i'm gon na be very happy, so it just looks like this. It has like crimper plates on it, and this is what gives your hair volume so obviously you're, not gon na. Do it in the front you're supposed to section off your hair and then do it like underneath. So your hair is going to cover the crimped sections. So i'm just going to lift up a section like this and you just crimp it is it doing it. So, let's just take little sections and do it. I have no idea how long you're supposed to clamp it for five to eight seconds. Okay, all right now that my hair is fried. Let'S flip it back over, i don't see a difference. Do you guys see a difference honestly? Do you see a difference? I hate it. I really don't like it. I'M going to do this side with my tangle teezer brush and we can see if it's better than this crap and i'm just gon na tease it like i normally would so. This brush is like specifically for teasing. I don't know what it is about this brush, but it's seriously look at that and i'm not doing it like hard. Okay, look how much better this worked than this thing, fifty dollars for what for what? What like? What did this do? This did nothing besides give me feathery, looking crimps, i'm not happy okay. Hopefully this video saved you guys some time and you don't have to worry about testing any of these viral hairstyles because they were a flop. Um, if you guys want some good viral hairstyles i'll, be sure to find some i'll keep my eye out for them. But thanks for watching, don't forget to like subscribe, leave a comment and i'll see you guys my next one bye

vaskylark: You do come up with some amazing and pretty styles, even if I'm not coordinated enough to do most of them. That crimping hack was just so awful and burning hair root is never a good idea so I'm with you on that one for sure.

🍄LeeannaThatDancer🍄: i follow one of your hair tutorials every morning! they help me so much!!

Justine Whyte: I enjoy all of your videos! Your honest, save us time, and have great ideas!

Lexi: Definitely going to try the braids and messy bun. Looks so cute and super simple

Charu Shekhar: You should try out the Ion automatic crimper from Sally’s! you just do the same motion you would for straightening your hair, but gives you beautiful crimped hair ❤

Pam Culver: I totally love your honesty! I have tried the ponytail hack before and yes, it was very weird on my straight hair, and I really thought it was just me, so thank you for confirming for me. Loved the little braid bun hack too!!

Haley Garner: I love your videos! That being said, the one with harmony, she is a master at volume. So when you actually watch her video she tells you how to use a krimper or any tools to create more volume. And the trick is to hold your hair straight up. So I think if you tried that again you might be surprised that it actually does work. And starting at the root at a 90 degree angle makes a huge difference. Love the braids also!

Rachele Edwards: Just tried the braid buns! Took me longer than 5 minutes but it turned out super cute! Thanks for trying it, I had been wanting to but it's nice to know it works!

Cheryl Gray: I love your reactions and honesty. Thank you for saving me time.

Pink T: Thanks for trying these out and sharing with us! I love your channel!!! The ponytail one work for me but I think it's because though my hair is fine, I have a lot of it so styles and products that bulk it up make it look much fuller. For the crimper hack I have the Voluminzer crimper and use it this way and it does add a lot of body to my hair and I follow this person too on YouTube but I'm blanking on her name and on YouTube when she shows this crimper, she uses a lot of thickening products too because her hair is fine. I personally don't think you need it and if I didn't have it already I wouldn't buy it because I love your heat free curl method - now with the leggings!

Enfys D: Absolutely love your videos I cut my hair really short pre covid times, So I have been growing it out since and its now at a length I’m happy with, so I can try all these different hairstyles xx

Hooptie721: I love your videos. I am growing my hair longer so I can try more of your styles. I have a mini crimper from Bedhead that was $27. It helps to get volume if you rub the roots with your fingertips after crimping. I don’t ever take the time to use it. I just use a volumizing powder.

Shawna B: Thank you for sharing! the braid looks amazing & You’re so beautiful!❤️

candie adams: I enjoy your channel! I use your bun hacks all the time. I have long thin hair that can get frizzy at times so I hardly use a blow dryer anymore. I twist my hair in two sections while it’s wet and it let it air dry. It always turns out soft and smooth with a slight curl at the ends.

Amy S: Your reactions are hilarious and you always have super cute ideas!

Yire Mendiola: Lol! Your reactions are on point! This is me trying every style on YouTube

M Brown: Actually crimping works amazing, you have to do more that one strand tho, you do every other section and you will be amazed. I just got finished crimping my hair because the volume it gives is amazing. You have to try it again and do more than one strand cuz that wont do anything!!

Tracey Wassenberg: You are hilarious thanks for testing for us!

Shanon Jo: hey Lainey Marie I definitely agree with U on the 4 utuber tutorials. I will always try new ones and some I like and some I don't. So that's why I like watching ur channel, ur honest!

A Warnke: The braids with buns are very cute. it also helps to know what not to do.

ThatCrazyGirl: I agree on the first one, I don’t see a difference either. My favorite will probably have to be the second one. It’s so stinking adorable and I will have to try! On the volume one I think you should try to make a video on using that because it looks like mermaid waves, then kind of brush out just to see looks like I think that would be really cute I absolutely love your channel, thanks for so much help over the years!

Laura Knaus: I find the crimp tool trick hard to believe working, but it might possibly work better if you used a tool that would make wider waves. I wish I didn't have trust issues with plastic hair elastics. Every time I see someone wrap them around all of their hair or wrap a small piece of hair more than twice I internally cringe because they snap for me immediately or shortly after because my hair is so thick, lol. *sigh*

Susan R: I feel like if someone had shorter or even more fine hair these could work. Extra long hair or heavy hair it's harder to hold a root volume or pony tail volume, or even hold bouncy curls for any length of time. It eventually will just hang. Long hair is beautiful, but without tons of layers & texture it can be difficult to achieve some of these looks.

SandSnowMXGirl: I just saw the faux Dutch braids the other day. Super cute!

Vickery: I love your videos! I love you showed the downsides of these ‘hacks’.

Whitney Sellers 💋: I got the voloom it does work. You do have to do two or three sections stacked to get the volume. But also voloom is not a crimper the pattern is different and that's what gives it volume. I heard using a crimper does not have the same best results ‍♀️

Amber Noland: I do the two twists, but I do it when my hair is just barely damp, and let it chill. No blowdryer.... other than drying my roots quickly. Then when I run my fingers through, I have spiral curls at the bottom.

Jacquie O'Shea: Neat hairstyles definely worth trying on long hair .

Cora Ellsworth: Try this, instead use the blow dry method in 4 sections with a little mouse or other styling product on slightly damp hair! I do this before zoom meetings just in the front and it helps my hair have some shape when I’m lazy! I also do this with hair out of the shower if I’m letting it dry while watching Netflix. I twirl it and it sets into pretty waves at the ends!

Sidney Wood: Another amazing video ! Thank you so much I love you and your channel !!

Susan Henley: Agree that your ponytail doesn't look any different when divided in two. The braids looked very nice. Yeah, the last two were flops. Gonna agree with you there, for sure.

Kim Hoel (Graber): Your expressions are so adorable. Thank you for the video. Very helpful.

Susan Kelton: I think that with the twisted blowdried style would work MUCH better if you damped your hair 1st

Gina Galluccio: A three barrel curling iron would work better than that crimper. I hate hair crimpers - but the 3-barrel curling irons (there's several brands to choose from) definitely gives my hair, which is fine/thin and FLAT, a ton of volume. The faux dutch braids with the bun at the bottom is very cool!

Vanessa Kern: For sure trying the dutch braid one! it's mid night and I'm trying it now

amanda whalen: Tic tock is a joke I’m only a decade only and I think you are very talented so keep it up! I’m all natural too. I love robe curls… that’s the reason why I follow! I have two boys too- they are the BEST-you don’t have to worry about their hair- for the most part! Keep it up girl!

K Mcy: Teach us how to grow our hair long please! What have you done other than eggs?

Mrs. Marks: $50? Darn. That's a lot in this day and age. I've been trying to do the messy bun where you flip the tail over and pull the rubber band around.. I CANNOT figure this out. Have you done a video on this? In slow-mo, by any chance? (From someone with baby fine hair.. unfortunately. It just falls out of every bun.) Thanks for doing these for us.. love your facial expressions. We all can relate!

Olive U: Thanks so much! Love your videos!

Sharon C: I have the Voloom and it does work for me!

Charu Shekhar: Just curious, do you have any favorite hairsprays and dry shampoos?

Phoebe Harris: Lovley hairstyle I favourite one is the braid one looks beautiful and great hairstyles for workout

LettieNugent.com: No difference on the crisper. Thanks for doing the work for us.

Emma hardy: you help !e so much with hair

Litzaztil: Thank you Agreed with you in your “conclusions”

Ulrike Trautmann: Totally agree with your comments!

Hellsbells: Love your necklace where is it from?

CocoatMidnight: Love your videos but TikTok you can leave behind.

Nada Gone: que cenilbalapp.Monster encantan tus videos. Bendiciones hermosa Celina que Dios te cuide donde quiera los mortalesf abian apreciado tan hermosa mujer

Crystal: There definitely were hits and misses.

Jodie B: Where r ur necklace & earrings from?
