Ebin Lace Spray Melt Review | Are They The Same Product?

Hey everyone‼️ Today I will be investigating Ebin's new line of Lace Melt Sprays. Are they the same as the yellow, red and BIG BLACK can? Does the new line have a better melt and hold? I will be answering all the of these questions and more in this video. I will also do a brief intro of Ebin's Melting Spray as well but be on the look out for that video in the future.

I know y'all seen Evans new lines of lace, melting sprays and they got the girls in a Chokehold and a frenzy and everything, but I'm sure everyone's thinking like what exactly is this? How does it work and does it even work, as well as the other three that they've already put out well today, we're gon na figure that all out and we're going to be investigating if it's new line of lace, melting sprays, let's go Evan, has come out With a new lace melt line that has three different lace: milk sprays and one melt spray, three lace: melting sprays consists of the Keratin which is in the blue, can the Silk protein, which is in the silver, can and then the vitamin E which is in the Purple - and it also has a melt spray that has a combination of the carotene and the vitamin E now you're, probably saying what does any of those words mean? What does that mean to me? Well, I'm gon na tell you best of this line. Is that you will have healthy edges once you use this lace spray as opposed I'm guessing to the other three, the yellow, the red and the black hand we're gon na see if that's true or not kinda. As I was researching on Evan's website, I was trying to figure out okay. What does these words mean because, right now they mean nothing to me. I don't know what keratin is. I heard it, but I don't know what it does. So I looked it up. Vitamin E assists in hair growth, Silk protein AIDS and hair strength and moisture to protect the edges and keratin, eliminate, freeze and add shine. So I'm like okay cool, even that's all well and good, and their IG mimics exactly what their website says when it comes to just protecting your edges, it protects your edges, it protects your edges, it protects your edges, protects your edges, protectors, your edges, as opposed to Protect your edges, y'all, so cool we all know and protect. Then I was like hmm. Let me be more nosy, what's in, what's really in these lace sprays anyway, because I never knew, and I wanted to also see what was the difference in ingredients when it came from the red yellow black can, as opposed to the purple silver and blue, can, and Lo and behold, I found some first of all when I was looking at the ingredients on the um new line of even in the old line of IBN. They had the same exact ingredients, especially the Keratin can, because the yellow red and black hand has hydrolyzed keratin in it as well, and I was like I forgot this one here. Why are you here? If you already had it at the back? I'M like the Keratin one, the blue, can you don't even need it, especially if you already have either the yellow black or the red can, because it's literally the same exact ingredients. The only difference between the other two cans is that they come with vitamin E or a Silk protein instead of the Keratin. Now. Another interesting thing that I found is that when it came to the list of ingredients, the vitamin E the Silk protein, the Keratin, was second to last on the list and if you know anything about labels, you know that if it is the it goes from. What is descends, I believe the word is. It goes from the most to the least, and it's second to last right before fragrance. Does it mean that it is not a lot in there because what it doesn't give you is a percentage. So the only thing I can really think of will be the difference between. Maybe maybe the red, black and yellow line in the newer line is that maybe the amount of the oil or keratin or Silk protein may be a little bit more than the other line. So the first the older line might be 10, and you know this one might be 15. I mean it is more, but is that really um? Even I don't I don't know about this. One also for my vegan girlies keratin is not vegan need the rest of silk. It'S not it's, not vegan y'all. I was reading what was in and I was like yeah. So the main thing that I got from this to this really not that big of a difference between the old line and the new line when it comes to the ingredients and that's what they you would think. That'S what they're trying to sell us is that oh, this product has a new ingredients from our old ones, but it's like it seems like all y'all did, was just slap a new color on these and was like ooh pretty and we kind of fell for it Because yeah they're new colors, I'm not in their fire but in actuality, they're kind of the same thing. Now we're going to talk about how to use the actual products. Now I only got the purple spray because my favorite color was purple. I was like I got, ta get it because it's purple right, even you got me good job and I was looking out how to actually use this. There were some conflicting information that I was getting so on the website. It says that you use a spray just like a regular lace, adhesive spray. If I look at some of the influences as well, they were doing this thing. They were using it as a regular lace, adhesive spray, and then I went to their IG and the girl was using it as like a Topper so like ciao, like which one is it, which one are we is it both? Is it not like? I just want to know just so I know how to properly use it. Okay, I don't want to look like a clown out here in these streets. If I did both did a test when I split one wig in half - and I was like this part - is gon na be for the purple, this part is going to be the yellow. Can, let's see if there's an actual difference in this melt? Here is how that went. So this is the initial melt of the purple. Can two layers black can two layers. There is no melting man involved with this. This is just me like doing a regular application and just like pressing it down with my wet feel cold. This is the purple side here we go, it is the purple. Can that melt, cool and that's the black side that milk cool okay, so I just took off my melting band herbal side after it completely melted, looks great amazing black side. That'S completely. Melted looks great amazing and they literally all the same, there's no Stark difference. What did we learn today? These two things are the same thing literally. They just change the the name to lace, adhesive or whatever is on here um to lace, melt, spray, change, the colors up and it's the same thing and they put they add a little Razzle Dazzle in there and put a little uh put a Keratin Oil. Even though we learned that's in here, or we put a vitamin e in it, which but honestly y'all they're the exact same thing, the black um Can has a better hole, but I think we kind of know that already but other than that they are the same. That thing these both can melt your lace the same. So if you had the old line already just stick with it with don't be wasting your money, but if you want to try it go ahead, but it's just not something that you have to do something. I will say is that this product, the purple product, does have a nice hold. It'S reminiscent of the yellow kind of red. Can so it's by itself and that's without me putting extra on it when you put the topper on it like, if you put the purple on purple, you're gon na get a nice hole like the red, can it was good, it was nice had it on for At least like three days, and I feel like if I would have topped it off with the the melting spray that I have, it would absolutely last longer. Purple spray will up to two to four days with just one layer that spray is not waterproof work somewhere or you are active. You work at Amazon or something like that and you're a sweater, and it's a lot of heat being conducted through your ducks. Don'T get this or if you go to the gym, a lot, don't get this you take a shower. You are going to have to make sure that you are tying this bad boy up that nothing is hitting it because it's not waterproof. I do think that this spray will be good for daily use because it isn't easy to get it off, put it on um and if you want it for at least like I said like two to four days, it can do that as well as long as You apply it correctly. Okay, so from these results, like I said to me, there is no difference. I don't see the difference in these sprays at all um. Besides, what they're saying that they're putting in it, which it like I said before it looks like the percentage, is not that much so how much of a difference is it really making? So that's something! Sometimes you just got to be a little careful when people when, when companies start putting new lines out, because they will use different words like instead of lace, adhesive spray, they use lace, melt spray, they change the colors up on us and some of the ingredients kind Of not really, and they put it out as a whole different line, and now it's like people are going to eat it up, because it is something new and it seems to have some type of extra benefit. But it's like how much of a benefit is it really, especially when whole entire ingredients from one of them is the whole entire ingredients from the last line? So what are you really selling what 37? So that is the conclusion that I've drawn from these products? I would not be in such a rush to get the new line. They'Re literally the same thing. The melts are very much the same. The holes are very much the same, and the only added benefit. Only two out of the three have different ingredients and, like I said it's SEC, the the new ingredients are second to last on the list. So that means it's not that much in it. I love even products, but I don't think we have to buy every single product that they put out just because they put out but foreign. Let'S talk about. It also came out with a line of melt sprays. They also had this in the original colors of the yellow, red and black. So of course I had to get the big black version because it wouldn't be right if I didn't, and that is the extreme hold one. I also noticed it had a lot of the same ingredients as the lace adhesive sprays, but with this one it has vitamin E and the Silk protein within it. This is strictly a Topper, so you're going to use your lace. Adhesive you're gon na use your lace glue and then you're gon na top it with the melting spray. Now at first I was like baby. This is just Spritz. They just took that Spritz that we've been using and they put it in a bottle. You ain't slick. I mean I did a test earlier, I applied it with the yellow can and baby it melted. I like the way it melts. I love the way it melts actually like it's such a good melt. Some things that I will say when you are applying this is that you have to be mindful because of the type of top and spray bottle. It is that spray just goes. It does what it wants so you're putting this on your lace and you just try to spray it on there, like that. It'S gon na look crunchy, you're gon na look stupid. So don't do that and it's gon na have your your edges. Gon na be hard as a rock or tough like and the best way to apply it like. I said you don't want to lose booty it and just go like this. No you're gon na play yourself. You want to actually clean your hands spray it on your finger and then guide it through out and put it on all the areas that you need to put it on or if there's another inventor way, that you can think of. Do it that way, don't just I'll be here, don't be out here, like that you're gon na look crazy. I'M telling y'all you're gon na look real crazy. The melting spray is something that I will buy again and that I will continue to use on. All of my installs I'm going to use that, and that is a product that I would be like y'all. If you buy that I get it. I do I get it. I it's a it's a good product. I like it. I, like it a lot that is the end of my investigation of Evan's new line of melting sprays. I hope you had fun with me today and be on the lookout for more of my videos. Have a good night bye.

Josiphia Rizado: Great video. As a chemist, you are right. This is just the same product with a different packaging anf fe insignificant ingredients. Please dont pay attention to the vitamins they add in products, those are meaningless and dont do what they suppose to.

Kayla M: I do like Ebin. But yeah...They're just repackaging the same product cuz they know people will fall for it and buy it. It's a marketing strategy.

redonyx: great timing for this video! my local beauty supply had them in their ebin area (which surprised me 'cause im in canada & we sometimes lag behind getting new products in store) and i was wondering if there was a difference from the old line. my crow brain that likes shiny shit was taken in by the new colours but i held off on buying cause i still have my yellow can and i rather finish that off first. sucks that it's just marketing nonsense and any additional benefits are most likely negligible even tho the sprays will do their job. when i apply the sprays i tend to spray directly on the inside of the wig (on the hairline) and then stick it down. if i want a more secure hold, i'll place a thinish line of their 4 ever ultra glue that i still have, let that get tacky and then secure the wig down. I've found spraying directly onto my skin is too messy as the nozzle isnt super precise and clean-up is a pain. as for using the spray on top of the wig, i learned from another creator to apply the spray indirectly using a make up sponge. i use those makeup wedges that you can get at the dollar store in bulk and press down/comb thru the edges with a rat tail comb. i was also hoping you'd cover the melting sprays and if it's the same as using spritz or pump it up cause i didnt even know about that until my sister put me onto it. def looking forward to that next video as i haven't seen anyone else talking about it.

candyland11_16 😘: Thanks for testing it for us. I love the wig you have on now

Mandii J: I want to try these but I just have a fear 10-20 years from now this, like many of the perm brands / other hair brands will make headlines for a correlation to cancer etc. Idk. I’m living through YouTube at the point, nice to see the variations and these informational videos. ❤

Dre: I love your channel! I find myself so confused with all the different sprays and the half-*ssed reviews Like I just wanna know if this thing will keep my girls wigs down all night long at the club or NOT!

ANTWTF: Idk I feel like the purple can made a difference, it looks a lot *softer* than the black can, especially on that day 3 shot!

phylicia simmons: Girl, you giving us the business. We need to know

73pinkchocolate: You’re great sis!! Thanks so much!! ❤

Peach Gumbeaux: Again, you izz doing da Lawd's werk!!!
