How To Install 360 Lace Frontal Wig Start To Finish | Wowafrican

You can't tell me this is not my hair. You cannot tell me this is not my hair, hey guys so for today's video I'm going to be doing an updo style on this beautiful wig that I received from wild African hair right now. You can see me unboxing everything and showing you how this wig looks so this wig is a 360 wig and I'm gon na be doing an in-depth tutorial for this video. So just stay tuned, what's up guys, so you guys are about to watch me attempt to do an updo style with this beautiful wig from Wow African. So this is a Yaki texture, um straight, I'm not sure what inch this is, but this is very, very, very long and it's extremely thick, so I definitely feel like this is going to be a little bit more of a challenge. So I'm just going to start off with actually pinning the lace and pinning the wig to the wig head and in a little bit. You guys might not see me in the frame because I will be standing up moving around um. But I'm gon na make sure that I get the whole wig in the frame. Okay, so I went ahead and sectioned the hair off um, basically from the top half to the bottom half, and what I'm going to do is since this is yaki hair. It'S not completely straight. I actually want to go in with my flat iron and straighten everything out, because I figured that the hot comb should be used last and not first, so I'm gon na go in with some more of the Paul Mitchell super skinny serum. For this bottom half - and this is just like a Hair - Shine um, it kind of tames flyaways. Let'S make sure this stays up, because we're not working on this half right now. So yes, just gon na grab this piece right here and do the chase method with the flat iron. I just want this to be as flat as possible. So, yes, we are going through with a full flat iron. I feel like this process definitely is gon na. Be a lot longer than any other process, because it is a 360 wig and with 360 wigs we want to make sure that we achieve the most natural look. So I'm just gon na go through and straighten all of this hair out foreign a little mama. My all right now, I'm about to install the wig okay. This is already cute okay. So, in order for me to install this wig, I do need to loosen up the ponytails, so I don't know how I'm gon na do that. Oh this sucks, but I'm gon na have to loosen this up. So now I'm gon na go ahead and glue the front part on. So what you want to do is obviously just flip this back and I think I'm gon na go with two layers of glue. So I'm going to be using um bold, hold lace glue. That is really the only hair glue that I use. So after the first layer you want to go ahead and smear it in and then I'm gon na go with my blow dryer and blow dry. Everything until the glue turns clear foreign just applying the wig onto the glue. I definitely should have let the glue dry a little bit more, but we're gon na go in with the blow dryer in a comb just to melt everything in so first I'm going to push it in with the comb and Then followed by the blow dryer. Okay, now that we have the wig installed, I'm gon na go in with the scarf that they provided me with. This is so cute. It has their name on it while Africans, so I'm going to lay the wig down, I'm probably honestly, going to lay it down for about 30 minutes to an hour just because I'm not really in a rush, and I still do see the white spots. So I'm just gon na lay the hair down and allow everything to melt and process and then we're gon na be right back okay, so it's literally been about an hour, so I'm gon na go ahead and take this off all right. So now I think what I'm gon na do. First, is I'm gon na re-fix this ponytail before I actually cut the lace off only because you know what actually I'm sorry, you guys are literally following along with me, because I kind of don't know what I'm doing. I'M not a hair stylist, so hopefully this turns out good, but I'm gon na re-wrap my hair up and then I'm gon na fix the ponytail, because I don't want the lace to lift and this hair is really thick at first, I was gon na. Do a different type of style, but this hair honestly just needs to stay in a bun, because it's way too much hair, um and usually people love that, but I'm the type of person that likes thin hair a little bit. So I'm gon na take out some. These are going to be flyaways that I'm taking out in the back, so I'm just taking out just a couple of pieces of hair from the back and now I'm going to put everything back into a ponytail. So I'm gon na kind of do my head like this and do the ponytail and I honestly do feel, like I'm gon na end up taking this ponytail out just one more time, because I do have to do baby hairs. Hopefully, I don't have to take the ponytail out again, but what I'm going to do is just twist it foreign do a top bun and then just secure it with another rubber band. Like I said y'all, this hair is super thick like it's very, very thick. I don't even know if you guys can see how thick it is on camera. Okay. So now I'm going to unwrap my hair, we'll just take this off so with these pieces of hair that we have out at the back, I'm going to go in with my curling wand and just one them first bone kind of like that, and you want to Go in with your scissors and just cut it and honestly I might have to re-curl these pieces because, as I'm cutting it obviously the stuff that I curled is just not even there anymore, so foreign hairs they're not meant to be too too cute. So since those curls didn't really last that long, I am gon na go with this flat iron and just curl it like this. So those are my little FlyAway hairs and I want to kind of make it look a little bit more wild back there just so it could be more natural. So now I was debating on whether or not I wanted to go in with some baby hairs, because, as you can see, this hairline is looking very, very, very, very really good, but I am still gon na go in with the baby hairs. Now this is going to be hard because look at that yeah, so I'm definitely gon na - have to redo this ponytail. So let me just start pulling some of the hair out. I don't know why. I wonder why your girl, so now I'm going to cut these baby hairs right here, just in a slanted motion and then go in with the flat iron and curl them upwards. Then brush them back down and that's literally so easy and so simple and then obviously do that to the same, I'm sorry do that to the other side as well and boom. Look at oh look at this. This is cute, oh, my God! No! This is really cute. This is kind of coming out a little bit better than I expected it actually. So I wish I could just scoop these back into the ponytail somehow, because I don't want to redo this ponytail, I don't I really don't. What I might do is, I might just pull these completely out. Oh okay, at least pull this one completely out right here and then I'm going to WAND this piece and you can do it. However, you want to do it like. I said this is just how I'm doing it I'm pretty much winging this. So I'm wanting this piece right here and I might keep this piece out or I might wrap around. You know what I'm going to keep it out. Actually, okay! So then, I'm gon na pull from that same side, and it's not really much pulling only for the simple fact that we were just pulling the same area of hair for the baby hairs. So then go in with the curling wand right here and do the exact same thing. We just want to make sure that everything is secured at the top, so I'm gon na go in with some mousse and just do it. How you would do your real hair, literally exactly how you would do your real hair boom bada boom bada bam y'all. This is cute. Y'All can't lie. I did my Thug thistle. This is cute Okay, so now to give a review, because the review is overdue. Um! Okay, so this was obviously uh Yaki straight hair. I personally, I don't really deal with the Yaki straight hair, so this is probably maybe my second or first time um having this texture of hair. Apparently, it's supposed to resemble um our real hair, a little bit more uh, like you know, with black women in our texture of hair um, but I'm not a huge fan of the Yaki hair, but once I wanted it and I put the flat iron through it. Look at this, this is really cute and it holds a curl. Now when you have straight hair or you have body wave hair straight hair doesn't hold a curl body, wave hair, it does hold a curl, but it doesn't hold the curl for so long this one. I know for a fact that this is going to hold the curl for a very long time for the simple fact that this has a little bit more texture to it. So um with the lace on the wig. I love the lace at the front. I also love that the wig came already pre-plucked um. I did go ahead and pluck some more of it, but it also came pre-bleached, so I literally got the wig in the mail today um I went downstairs. I got it, I came upstairs and I just put it on my head so that basically tells you guys that there's nothing you have to do. The wig definitely comes ready to wear so in love, I'm literally looking at myself through the camera, and I'm like. Oh, this is so cute, but the wig um it definitely comes ready to wear. So that's nothing that you have to worry about, especially if you are a beginner or if you do your own hair. This is something that's really really really easy for you to achieve. On your own, as you can see, and as I told you guys before, I am not a hair stylist, I'm nowhere close to a hair stylist at all. So for me to be able to do this and to make it look really good like this, I feel like anybody can um. I have had hair from Wild Africa in the past and I'm actually going to link the video right here that video went nuts. It went bananas not gon na lie when I went to school with that hair. When I went to the grocery store when I went anywhere, people thought that it was my hair. I'M pretty sure that, if I go outside with this, people are gon na think that it's my hair um. The only thing that I do like about that other wig versus the one that I have now is that that wig was thinner. The only reason why I like thinner hair is because, when you put it into a ponytail, it's a bit easier and it's not lumpy um. I don't know if the back part of my hair is Lumpy, but I did try to tame it as best as I could um. But that's just a personal thing for me: I'm pretty sure that maybe 90 of girls like thick hair - I just don't, but I'm so in love y'all, like literally. I have nothing bad to say about the hair. I have nothing bad to say about shedding. No smells no nothing.
