Dry Curly Hair Vs Wet Curly Hair Look? | Ombre Shag Wig Ft. Alipearl Hair

Let me see me: hey you guys! Welcome back to my channel. My name is PJ if you're new here so in today's video, I'm gon na, be showing you guys how I installed. This short curly highlighted Bob wig. This is a 4x4 closure. This hair came from Ali Pearl. Thank you so much for collabing with me in today's video. This is a few things that the wig came with a pair of lashes, a edge brush a wig cap and a silk scarf. This is what the unit looks like straight. After package, I love the brown highlights and the curl pattern, but I wanted the curls to be a little looser, so I went ahead and washed it. So this is what it looks like after the wash. We won't be doing a ball cap method today. So I'm just combing back my hair and applying my cap and adding makeup I'm using elf Foundation to apply to the inside of my lace. I wasn't expecting for that many curls to be lost in the front after washing it, but that's okay, we're just going to recreate the look using my small curling wand, but first i'm gon na lay down my lace using this bold hold Liquid Gold. This is the best glue to use if you're someone who doesn't want to keep your wigs on all day day. I did not bleach the lace on this wig only because the primary hairstyle that I will be wearing you won't be able to see the lace. So I felt like that wasn't necessary today. So, as you can see, as I cut off the lace, you can still see the outline of the lace, but only because I didn't put enough makeup, but that's okay, we're just gon na put a little makeup on top around the hairline. I'Ve seen this trick on Tick Tock, so I felt like this was the perfect opportunity to give it a try and look how the lace is just disappearing, and this is the elf Foundation that I use for the inside of the lace. So I'm just working in sections - and this is actually a small curling iron. I just took the handle off and made into a small curling wand and yeah, I'm just taking little pieces at a time and going around my whole head. I thought this was going to take longer than it actually did. I sat and watched a episode of some movie and I said the episode of some movie uh episode of some show and it took me about 45 minutes and I think it went fast because you know it's easy to curl curly hair. I didn't have the wine curler sitting on that long, each time I wrapped it around. It was sitting for like a good three seconds and then I just took it right off and it was how I wanted it, so I ended up doing the other side off camera because it was just repetitive and it looks good so far. So when it was time for me to curl the front of my hair, I made sure that I was wrapping the hair forward around the curling wand, because I will be wearing this hair with a bang. And I just want to make sure that the hair stays together and it doesn't look separated and flowing backwards. So far, I don't have any complaints about the hair. I really love how soft and manageable it is, and I love the color on it. I feel like blonde typically always looks really good on me, so now that our lace is melted, we're going to go ahead and fluff the curls out using a pick and just kind of using my fingers to separate a few of them. You want to make sure that you don't overdo this process, because you still want your curls, even though this hair holds a curl very, very well. These curls are very tight and I don't think they're going to fall anytime soon, but you still don't want to overly separate it. I love me some big curly hair. This is how I typically wear curly hair when I do wear it, but I do know that the girls also enjoy the wet look. So I'm gon na show you how I achieve that with this hair as well. So first go ahead and come out all your hard work. Yes, I know fluff it all out. Next, we're going to make sure we separate the hair and in little sections around the lace just so you can get it as flat as possible and I'm just rotating my wax stick and hot comb. It'S best to use a really really good hot comb or you're. Going to be sitting here for a while, if your hot comb is cheap and just won't get as hot, like mines, so sometimes I'll go upstairs and use these stove hot comb. So this is what you want it to look like. I did the other side off camera and then I went ahead and did some baby hairs. I kind of just sped through the baby hair part, because I didn't do anything special, it's just the basic little swoops and honestly I was struggling. So you didn't want to see that so we're just going to take the spray bottle and saturate the bottom of my hair. So we can get that curl pattern back and make sure that you don't get any water where you just hot combed at so now. I'M just using my Nairobi wrapping foam just to help Define the curls. I'M finger, combing mines, but it'll be best if you actually use a defining brush. Oh, I love how this style turned out as well. I love the versatility of curly hair. I also think that, even if you wanted to straighten this hair to make like just straight or body wave hair, it would work out perfectly fine, because it's so soft. Thank you guys for watching.
