U-Part Wig W/ Minimal Leave Out! | Relaxed Hair Protective Style Ft. Westkiss Hair

Yes, it's a wig, hey guys! Welcome back to my channel. Yes, it's a wig, I'm going to show you guys how I am wearing these kind of wigs as a protective style, and I'm going to give you all the details right now. I am so excited enjoy okay. So, let's start this thing right from the beginning, I'm going to show you guys how the package came. It'S this gorgeous silk bag and I'm going to show you what came inside it lots of goodies. So first things. First, obviously, if it's a wig, I'm getting wig caps, then they send through this wig strap. This one is the one without velcro and they sent me this branded one from whiskeys. This has velcro and let me tell you this thing is so soft. I cannot wait to use, it says the wig, it is a u-pod rig, it is 180 density, 22 inches u-pod wig. It has three wig clips and then it has the elastic band and three wig Combs. So this wig is going to fit extra secured. I'M going to start off by preparing my hair. Take that ponytail down. I am going to be keeping this middle pot just because I feel, like a middle part, makes me look and feel a bit more sophisticated. I don't know how do I explain that, but what I'm going to do is I'm going to section my hair, I'm going to leave a little bit of hair at the top just so we can blend it in very nicely with this wig, because I am trying To give the illusion that this hair is growing from my own scalp, try to finesse your pots make sure your pots are as straight as possible that way it looks neater and you're not going to have any hair sticking out. So once that is done, you do want to roll the hair up or you can braid it up. I just twisted my hair into a bantu knot and I'm going to clip that done with a regular wig clip just to keep it out of the way, and so I can work on installing this wig. It is quite quick and if it is to install once that is done, I'm going to pop my hair right in the middle at the back, and I am going to braid it down just so. The hair lays a bit flatter, but also so my hair is kind of like in a protective style. I don't know if you get what I'm saying foreign, so I am going to leave my edges out of this one just so the wig Blends much better, but also kind of save my edges. If you know what I'm talking about, this helps the wig to lay better, but you won't see where the wig begins once I do this add some edges on that baby and you will see it's gon na look just like my own hair, I'm braiding out this Edges of my hair just to keep them out of the way, because installing this wig does require me to do clips, and I don't want any of my hair disturbing me foreign here we are, I am braiding, my hair down. This is because I don't know how to control my hair, but if I did, I would do like some medium sized cornrows, but unfortunately I don't know how to Contour my hair. So what I'm doing is just bringing it down. Here'S a quick tip when you braid down your hair do braid down in a downward motion or braided, so it can bend to the side where you want it to bend to, because then it doesn't have a bump and it will lay a lot flatter. I hope I'm making sense with this, but your hair braided down I'm going to secure the end of my braid with a black elastic band. Just so the braid does not unravel. Then I'm quickly going to move on to the other side and I'm going to speedily braid through that. So we can install this wig because that's the moment, we've all been waiting for right foreign, I'm going to clip the braids on either side, pull it to the opposite side and just clip it in with a black, hairpin and voila. You can see it's laying flat and now the moment we've all been waiting for installing this u-pod wig. What I'm going to do is I'm going to open up the clips right at the top open all three clips and what I like to do is I like to install it from the middle clip so try to find a position where it's not too forward. But it's not too much to the back, because it's going to cause you bumps, it does take a little bit of adjusting before you get it right, but once you get it right, that baby will sit nicely foreign once I've secured the other side, I'm going to Pull the clip on the other side, please be careful with your hair. You don't want the clips digging through your skin, because you're going to get scratches then to secure it even better, I'm going to take the wig Combs and you will see I'm just pushing it right into my hair. Listen! This baby is sitting tight together of my head. You would literally have to rip it off foreign makeup off camera, because I wanted to give you guys a cute moment for the finished look now it's time for styling and I'm using the OGX Moroccan Argan Oil. I'M going to put some of that on my hands, rub it down on this hair. This Serum is amazing, especially if you're trying to straighten or style your hair. It helps with flyaways gives your hair a nice Sheen, and it works also as a heat protectant. So section your hair out with the tail end of a fine tooth comb and comb through it. So there are no Tangles, then I'm going to use my tonian guy XXL white plate straightener and I'm just going to move that right along the hair. I'M going to do one or two sweeps, because I was in a rush. So sorry it was Christmas Day and I was getting ready for Christmas lunch and I was late. So I had to do this really really quickly that what I would say is this hair. Does take very well to heat, it was so easy to straighten and I am looking forward to toying around with some curls because I feel like it would be a whole moment if I was to curl this hair. But I will show you guys, so that's how it is done, I'm going to move along just sectioning the hair and rolling that straightener right through. You can see it's already so straight, I'm quickly going to zip through the other side because well I was late. So once I'd straightened the actual hair, it was time to take down my little bantu knot of my relaxed hair and I'm just going to put it right in the middle because we all wearing a middle pot. You will see. I haven't straightened my hair yet, but my hair is quite close to the texture of this hair. What you want to do is try to conceal where the wig begins, and that is exactly what I'm doing perfect your pot. So it kind of looks, as you know, professional as possible. I guess, but I just wanted to look really neat, I'm going to give my hair one plus with the straightener, because this is my natural hair and I don't want to cause any heat damage. If you see the beginning of the wig lifting grab a black hairpin and just pin down the beginning of that wig, so it doesn't stick up because it will become quite evident that you are wearing your wig. If that beginning part does stick up, so The Hairpin hack is something I learned then try to conceal the pin as best as you can, covering it with your hair, but look at how well that first side looks I'm going to zip through and do the other Side once we put the straightener because we don't want any heat damage foreign - and that is what the hair looks like. I am going to go in again with that. Ogx Morgan, Argan Oil - just to you, know, give it some Sheen, but also you know how natural hair is. There are some flyaways and some hair sticking up so using that oil is going to help me just lay it down a bit better and then I'm going to come back and give you guys a final look. Are you ready foreign look um? I did go ahead and just sweep some edges because my entire forehead is out in these streets, but you know a girl still looks cute. I think that makes it blend in more and yeah. I'M loving, I love how silky this hair is it it Blends in so well with my hair. So if you'll see there's my hair see um, I want to show you guys. I can't find my hair, that's how good it Blends, but anyway um over there. So you have some of my hair. This is my hair and when you just blend it in it Blends so well, but you are really really loving this. This is a u-pod rig, the perfect protective style, especially if you're relaxed, hair girly, and you want to weigh a bit of your hair out or you want to have a wig in it's very lightweight um, the clips, don't pinch or anything very lightweight and the bonus Is I can easily pull it into a ponytail like that? You know but yeah super simple to install, but it looks amazing and I really do like it. I think I'm gon na do a bun twist it out and just do like a bun. You know I can also wear it with a claw clip and put a cloak clip right over there, but yeah I'm going to be exploring the hairstyles with this wig. You guys it looks amazing, like it looks like it's going great out of my scalp, which is incredible: throw on and go kind of hair, which is currently what my vibe is right now, so I'm really really loving this hair.
