Foreign before we jump in, let's start out with the question of the day. Now, I'm pretty sure I've probably answered this question, but since I'm getting it a lot, I'm answered again. This question says: when you do lace, adhesive sprays, do you use the ball cap method at all? If so, is it glueless or not? So when I use my wig adhesive sprays, I never do the ball cap method. I only do the ball cap method. If I'm using glue and most likely, if I'm gluing down the ball cap method, I'm using the wig adhesive sprays for that not glue. So if you have any more questions, be sure to drop them Below. In the comments section leave me a comment, and I will answer them accordingly, either down there in that comment, section or I will reply to them in a video, Let's jump into today's video. Now I'm excited and kind of curious to get into this video because I did not know you all was walking around here with fake baby hairs. I didn't know this, but today's video I'm going to show you all how to apply these fake edges. Now I will have these fake baby hairs, fake edges, linked down in the description box. When I first saw them and I saw people applying them, I think it was on Tick Tock. I was blown away because I did not know. Y'All was walking around with fake edges, but these are great if you want to have a fuller look to your hairline, your natural hairline. However, today's video I wanted to mostly focus on using these to protect your wig hairline. Now I know it may sound crazy. You guys to use baby hairs with wigs. However, a lot of these wigs nowadays come with that beautiful pre-plucked hairline and you don't want it to thin out very early, so this is a way that you can create edges if you like them without thinning your wig. So I'm gon na get into all the details as we go through this video right now. What I'm doing is lightening or bleaching the hair, because the wig that I'm working with, which will also be linked Down Below in the description box, is a brown color. So I want the baby hairs to match these baby. Hairs are 100 human hair, of course. So, as you can see, you can lighten them, you can color them. They are reusable. Now this one from pretty Luxe hair comes with two chunky baby hairs, but I'm gon na show you how you can get the most out of using this and we'll talk about more details as I go through this video, but I'm just let this bleach sit on This for 15 minutes and then we'll move into everything else. This might have been too long for the color I wanted to achieve. I actually just wanted to take this a shade lighter. I should have used the developer method, because this did go a little bit lighter. However, the wig that you see that is in the background, this is also from pretty Luxe hair um. The color of it is a bit lighter than it's showing for some reason. I don't know if it's the product that I used on the hair to you know curl it, but the baby hairs definitely did work with it. It just was just like one shade lighter than the actual wig. Now this wig is a 13 by six lace front. Wig - and it is a beautiful 20 inch and it comes in this beautiful brown color. I will also put this wig below the hair is absolutely gorgeous. As you can see, the hairline on this wig is pre-flucked and, like I said, we are trying to preserve the hairline on our wigs, especially if we want to make them last. So I'm going to take a hot comb and just push this hairline completely back, because you don't want to use any of the edges on the wig. So I'm just taking my hot comb and making sure that all the hairs are pushed out of the way. Now, like I said, if you are really into creating edges, this is actually a great idea, because a lot of times when I create edges, I notice after I go to wash my wig. I come back reapply it. The hairline is completely thinner or the edges. I have to recreate over and over again and over time that does take a toll on the wigs hairline. So again, I think this is a great idea and we're going to jump right into um the techniques I'll use to install install these fake baby hairs. Thank you all right so to apply this wig, I'm going to be using a melting spray. I did a full video talking about this. If you missed that, you might want to go check it out I'll pop it out right here now. This product is meant for melting lace, so the technique I'm using to apply this wig today, I'm just going to be very simple: I'm taking some alcohol and just wiping away the makeup around. You know the area here. I don't want the makeup to interfere with the install, because sometimes it can so I'm removing the makeup around my hairline and then I'm taking the spray and just spraying over top of the lace. This product is very easy to use. I prefer the wig adhesive sprays because they are not only gentle on your natural edges, but they are gentle on the wig, hairline and Lace. Now the position I'm putting this wig in is a little bit further back than what I normally do, because I want to have space to lay down the baby hairs. So you don't want the wig too far down on your forehead. By the way, don't forget to give this video a like by thumbs up the video and also subscribe, if you are new here, welcome, welcome welcome all right, let's get into adding these baby hairs. This is what it looked like. You get two pieces as you can see one of the top one at the bottoms, but I am going to make them into four pieces. Okay now this is where you get the most for your money. You want to take the hair and separate it, and then you want to split it in half, of course, and you are creating pieces, you do not want to use this big chunk of baby hair just at one part of your head. So this is how much you need just for a section of your hairline okay. Now this baby hair does come with Swiss lace, so it is a very delicate lace that will be invisible once you glue it down, as you can see just like with the wig. I'M cutting off the extra lace around the baby hair. Okay, so you just want the hair. You don't want the lace, okay and applying this. You want to see exactly where to position it like. If I set it right there, you can tell that it. It'S not supposed to be on that side of my head. No, so I'm gon na apply it on this side where, as you can see, it seems to blend effortlessly. Okay. Now I'm going to take my wig adhesive spray spray, just a small part of my forehead dry, it just a little bit until it's tacky. You don't want to dry completely! So don't do too much here now you can use wig glue. If you want to do this, however, I'm not using wig glue, I'm using wig adhesive, so I'm just going to take the baby hair and set it over top of that wig adhesive and then I'm going to let this dry and, as you can see, the lace Blends very effortlessly and it don't even look like it's separated from the wig hair, and I thought the color wasn't going to work, but it actually did okay now repeating the same technique on the other side. This piece right here is going to go on the same side, the other side with the same area. If that makes sense um, I don't want to say left to right, because the camera is kind of tricky, but, as you can see, I'm gon na place it right there now. These are reusable. Do not think that you have to be done with them. After you finish using them, you can definitely reuse them for mine as you've seen I colored it to match my wig. If you are wearing your natural, you know black color, then you don't have to worry about that. But if you change up your hair color, you may want to get more than just one set and no, I don't feel like it's a waste of money like I said it pro. It preserves your wig hairline and it's just like buying false eyelashes, technically um. So, yes, you can reuse it. I would highly recommend to take care of them and reuse them. Now I'm going to go ahead and create the Sideburn and I'm doing the same exactly um thing with the bottom half of the edges, I'm going to cut them straight down and it's almost like cutting them in half works with the size of your head. As you can see, placing it just makes sense. Okay, so if you place it in, like I said it, don't look right, put it on the other side of your head, that's probably where it goes now. These are also great for, if you're wearing wigs, that are maybe synthetic and they don't have a hairline or, if you're, wearing wigs with bangs, and you just want to create sideburns, but don't want to cut into your wig. These can also be used. For that I mean you can really get creative with this and create something when I first got them. To be honest, I was like. I don't think I can work with this. I was like. I don't think I can work with it, but after actually trying it out hey that they say you can't knock something before you. Try it um so yeah. I pretty much like this, so I'm taking my curler and just curling the hairs so that when I lay them they can go in a more swoop type of position and then, of course, you want to cut them shorter. Now, if you like it long like that, you can use those pieces as like, I don't know some type of inches that's longer and we are going in with the lace putty now I just did a video on this you guys now. This is not only good for laying your Lace Smells good and it's good for, of course, baby hairs. So I love this product and, as you can see, it instantly just lays everything down. It'S not too wet. I talked about this in my last. Video again. Definitely go check out that video to get the full details, foreign, so once you're done, you want to blend everything, so you want to take your sleigh band. Tie them edges down for 15 minutes 20 minutes. If you want to and then you will get results like this girl, that looks so good like, I was not expecting it to look this darn good if you're not in the baby hairs. Whatever that's I mean this is for my ladies, that do like their edges. They do like baby hairs, they want to wear them, but don't want to take out the hairline on their wigs and again you can use these edges for your natural hair just to create you know a thicker hairline for yourself again, everything will be linked Below in The description box, I have a discount code and everything for you all be sure to check there and all the products will be linked on my Amazon storefront, so be sure to check that link in the description. Thank you guys so much for watching mwah. Thank you.
