All right you guys this is a takedown and a color correction. I'M calling it a color correction, because we're going from highlights to a solid color. The quickest way is to lift High into tone low, I'm not using anything over a Volume 15 on her hair. It'S already pretty even, but I'm still gon na, feel it. I did the true color deposit off camera for time purposes. She is transitioning from relaxed hair and a pixie cut. So this is her grow out. She'S going to transition with micro leaves. You may notice that I custom colored not only tape ends but wets as well. That'S because I'm starting to realize that it's best to blend techniques, because you never know what type of leave out someone is going to have and one way you may not get the job done by itself. I did a few wax Like This Ginger orange, because I thought it would be so cute throughout this Auburn. This install is basically finished now you'll see me go in and do a little detail, work making sure the leave out is Blended. I'M going to cut some face framing layers, add some soft curls but voila. This is the finished product. This has been my transition from Balayage to Auburn

Kammy: Bleach is the last thing she needed. Her hair looked extremely damaged and is in desperate need of a treatment and moisture. I don’t see the point of paying for an expensive style intended for straight, fine, silky hair textures that will do nothing but compromise the health of your hair in the long run. Specially for someone who’s hair already looked damage to begin with. Unfortunately,I can see more breakage and split ends coming her way when she take this style down. Until she works on restoring her natural hair back to health and getting a routine down that helps her hair retain moisture and length, she’s going to be stuck in the same cycle.

A A: “She’s going to transition with micro links.” Literally the WORST idea (from experience) and my hair looked like hers AFTER, so I can’t imagine what her hair, at this starting point, will look like after prolonged micro links.

Ladies Blvd: “Sorry little sister, I’m not going to assist you in going bald. Let’s discuss some other options that will still be beautiful, but encourage restoration of your hair.” -That’s what I thought a stylist would say. (This reminds me of My 600 Pound Life episodes where the bedridden individuals have friends and family willing to bring them 3 large pizzas, a 20 piece wings, 7 cans of soda, and a whole cake for dinner and dessert. )

Mrs. V: I pray that when she does go natural she finds a stylist that cares about the health of her natural hair

Promisemade Promisekept.: THIS HAS ALOPECIA written all over it, if she continues like this, it's just a matter of time

Natnice: Omg, are we not going to speak on her damaged hair

Koqui Onefourteen: We'll be seeing her in the near future needing a severe hair restoring make over. People just don't learn.

N. C.: This is proof that there are hairdressers who just want your money vs hairdressers who actually care about the integrity and health of your hair. It's shocking that this hairdresser would continue to dye, straighten and install clip ins on this woman's frail, damaged hair. All she's doing is prolonging the damage and her hair will continue to break off. Sad.

D'antae Johnson: There really isn’t a point in her transitioning because the hair is just continuously being dried & damaged.

beautyfool: I appreciate stylist who will just say NO to coloring and even micro links on weak and damaged hair.

gotyou: As a home stylist, i'd of given her hair a fresh start, cut the hair back give good treatment and a natural simple style for atleast a few months to a year, to allow her hair to grow back healthy. No weave no perm/dye...but each to their own but my consciousness wouldn't allow me to damage her hair even more

Mystery Meat Soup: The fact that you bleached her relaxed hair and then had the nerve to say she’s transitioning from relaxed to natural… don’t ever do hair again. If you have CLIENTS and you play in their head like this do not charge them any money. Period. You truly do not care about their hair health. You know damn well she will never be able to transition while doing shit like this and she WILL have to cut all her hair off. Don’t ever lay your hands in someone else’s hair ever again ma’am this is insane. You’d have been better off saying “she wanted this” at the beginning of the video and staying mute for the rest but to talk like you know best and you actually care about her hair..FOUL

Kelsi Lulu: Key words here, I’m not a hairdresser so perhaps I’m missing something, but I would focus on a chop and scalp/hair restoration before using any chemicals

Tyrah Tonge: Eeeeeekkk, her hair is so damaged! Surprised that you approved to color hair again! She was better off getting a sew in,To protect that new growth!

Char D: Notice that she said “the quickest way” and not the healthiest way…it’s all about getting that client out the chair and getting to the bag so another can come sit down and so forth.

Gooch McDuck: She did say the quickest way, not the healthiest. I’ve got to relighted my hair through the winter, everyone should just steer clear of any lightener with any hair type. No matter the best way you do it your hair is worse for it.

Luology: Y’all need to start telling people no

Shayna Awong: This is why not everyone should be doing hair. Her hair is obviously damaged so last thing she needed was color. Doesn't even matter if the final product came out good. Smh I go to stylists who are honest and will tell u when something will cause more damage.

Ebony Skye: My hair looked like client's hair before I did the big chop in 2015. Now, my hair looks like the bundles this woman used but a bit longer. It just takes a lot of care and patience

Honey Kiss Royalty: she's transitioning from relaxers yet. She just got her hair bleached ‍♀️ I'm confused did I miss something. No shade but really, did I miss something?

scorpionattitude: Honestly the style looks good. We all know the hair is damaged and I’m sure you talked about it with your client. What should matter most is that it’s her hair and her hair journey. It’s just hair. And she’s trying to transition so this may be her ‘idgaf as long as it looks good’ phase. I never even wore a sew in or clips etc until I first started going natural. Went natural 2x and the big chop vs transition… they were both beautiful and stressful and confidence building journeys. Her hair isn’t about anyone but herself.

Ladosha Wright: To those in the chat who don't know anything about REMOVING pigment from the hair....it IS a very gentle process. Yes, ammonia is an swelling agent that most manufacturers use; however it is a proven and effective color remover when used by a trained and educated technician. She merely removed the previous pigment and used a DEPOSIT only to give her hair a new look. Fine hair does not necessarily translate into DAMAGED hair. It is obvious she took precautions to increase the likelihood of a safe color process. Clearly her hair processed evenly, she cleansed, conditioned and cut her hair; thus giving her a new look and added some hair additions to create something different. Cosmetologists who are trained...do these services on all textures daily. They know exactly what they are doing. As for the condition of her hair, its a take down for crying out loud. ‍♀️ She has Afro textured hair. That is EXACTLY how it is supposed to look. I don't do any form of hair additions, but this lady did a great job. Some folk will never accept hair textures are as unique on the head it grows from. There is nothing wrong with her hair. People arrive to the Hair Salon with their hair in all kinds of conditions. This what we do. We fix it. The lady made abundantly clear, she was giving her a new look. And a new look is what she got! ❤❤❤❤

Hana R.: This is cute, I hope her hair gets healthier with this style in

Weird: Her hair is severely damaged! She needs to start fresh! The roots are damaged and the ends. The whole head matter of fact! A real stylist would tell their customers about their hair and keep it

Monique 🦋: You did that! Everything looks amazing! color and style

Miss Honey Never Came: Great look but I would not recommend dying relaxer hair.

Tiffany Potter: You did that Sis!! Absolutely beautiful

reaquila scriven: And they wonder why they suffer from alopecia! She should have just went for the pixie cut now! Her hair is sooo damage and very unhealthy! If we would just love and take care of our nature hair. I pray it gets healthier

leobunny: Hopefully her hair will stay strong and healthy. Hair needs time and patience ❤️

Keren kares: At 53 I decided to really start focusing on healthy hair I started going to a Aveda salon near Atlanta at first I felt like my stylist was really aiding me on my journey ( I also wanted to cover the gray for a season or two) by the 8th visit my stylist had a sassy attitude and chapped me because I had a rubber band on the end of my ponytail it wasn't what she said it's the tone when she said it 9th visit had her 2 children running around in the salon she was clearly irritated by that situation and 10th visit left a new dye she had switched to in my hair too long...190 per visit including tip and 1or 2 Aveda products she's clearly not allowed to touch my hair again I was really dissatisfied and disappointed

Just Say Monique: When my hair was damaged many many years ago. My beautician had NO PROBLEM telling me now when I wanted a particular hairstyle. I was 18 at the time. I’m 33 now and she is still my beautician. I have long think healthy hair because my beautician said HELL NO, what you need is a protective style because your hair looks like shit. And that is what this beautician should have said

A None: And here kids is where you learn to do your own hair because ppl will help you further damage yo sh*t. She took down the hair, bleached the hair, pressed the hair and then wefted the hair all in one day. Any questions, comments and or concerns please address them to the air because this woman did the most and could care less.

M M: I would of definitely told her no when she asked for hair dye. Her hair looks stressed

Daniel Rangel: Licensed cosmetologist here. In my opinion, lifting her entire hair like you did was so unnecessary. Especially if you were going to tone it down anyway. If you needed any lift (especially the minimal amount between her new growth (their natural hair color) and the final color, you could’ve used a permanent color to lift a bit with much less damage to their hair’s integrity, and toned over it all. I watched this a couple of times, because I truly can’t understand why you did it this way ESPECIALLY on someone with compromised hair.

Krystal: At this point just shave it off.

MsAchampion: I love the way that you cut off the damaged hair before the style! ❤️

Mariah Furaitar: Daaaayummmm! Girl you have some bomb ass skills! ME NEXT, ME NEXT! Ugh I wish I could find someone like you. I've been holding off re-doing my hair for 4 months. Just can't find good women around where I live.

loyalty 1011: this video just proves that not all beauticians are created equal. A true beautician would have nevers bleached hair that damaged and would not have glued the track to the natural hair

CurlyKween: Im confused when I was transitioning the last thing I was trying to do was straighten my hair that will cause damage to your curls. She should try more protective styles that will ensure her hair grows strong and healthy.

annamaria christopoulos: I'm a stylist for 40 years in NYC. ..Great Job!!!

TheZogie: Im interested in how she maintains those tape-ins , between hair length and texture it looks like alot of work everyday

Ms. Utopia: I don't care what anyone says, putting that tape on your hair is going to thin it out and take it out

ValleyoftheSunGirl: The color is beautiful. I would have loved to see a curly style with less direct heat

The Life Of A Trans Woman: The style is cute but honey she did NOT need anything done she needed to give it a break

Krispy K: End result looks great but she had damage which should have been addressed first and foremost!

1,000 subs with no videos: i think the comments about how she needs to start fresh are valid but at the end of the day the client wants what they want even if they know it’s bad for them‍♀️

Slovanna119: I have been natural for over10 years. I'm older and it's become more difficult to maintain. While searching for a stylist I've not found one. We once owned a salon so I know those stylist that were into maintaining healthy hair and those who were not. This is an example of the latter. Thus client needs to invest in caring for her own hair. I see severe hair loss in her future. WOW..

Tiffany Davis: OMG!!‍♀️ People just look at the various techniques...She is speaking that through. I am sure the customer knew her hair was damaged someone has to do it and you know when you need your hair done.. damaged or not you need someone to do the hair.

XFESTO: Black women black woman I pray you find the beauty in wearing your natural hair while trying to restore its beauty, length & strength. We actually grow natural long hair- we honestly are fck’n it up ourselves with all this nonsense.

𝑴𝒔𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒆 2𝒀𝒐𝒖: Absolutely beautiful work...She looks awesome❤️‍

Diane: My cousin did this ended up bald her hair was damaged like hers and she still got it done

Tee Nicki: Nice.. I know that was expensive though wish I could afford to put more money into myself and not these bills

sametta thompson: Take care of your hair; don't cry alopecia later due to harsh chemicals

Chantel D.: I cried watching this... Like her natural hair looked beyond stressed.... Transition with microlinks????? She had a pixie cut and that's how the grow out looks.... Smh

Ashley Blackberry: THIS IS SOOOOOO CUTE

Melissa85Bee: Her hair needed an entire reset. You can't style what you no longer have.

buttacookies 88: Some people jus ain't never had hair you did a awesome job

Kay Mix: Where is this stylist! Can we acknowledge the time & patience she took. I want someone that takes pride in they work!!!

Aniya Turner: She’s needs a protective style the with the bleach and heat her hair will continue to be damaged

JessicaRabbit: This is why I dont let other people near my head. ‍♀️

Katrina Fiddler: Wow she looks so much younger after you did her hair

K P: She should let her hair grow though before she keep applying product

Corletta D: It came out nice, but her hair didnt appear in the best state for dye, let alone tape ins.

Jalisa: That natural hair needs more love & attention and less chemicals

Sakina M: Lift high:40 vol developer Tint low:10 vol developer

Kiana: Her hair looked slightly damaged after the first removal of the weave. A nice cut to restore the woman's hair would have been better.

Tamica: Amazing install ❤

Red Love: She’s transitioning with heat and color? Yeh okay so I guess she’s not going for healthy natural curls? Yeah

Sharon Stay blessed: Sis you are sooooo gifted. This was difficult

G L: Honestly if she is transitioning her hair being bleached is the last thing that needs to be done. Those edges are fried, she could've gotten a low cute to even it out and rock it short. Or if she was really uncomfortable with short hair she could've did braids or even a glueless wig until her really recovers at least for 6 months!

Kristen: I swear stylist say everything is a color correction so they can charge more

An Absolute Fool For Cats: Oo what a quick little glow up ✨✨

Marilyn Samantha Laiva: I’m not sure micro braids are the best option with the amount of damage she already has. A proper glue free protective style would be more appropriate i believe.

Dylen Roberts J: Sometimes the hairstylist needs to be the decision maker I would’ve made her go black.

Tammy Batubo: Beautifully done ✅

Gia: Really want this done on my hair may have to wait for my hair to grow back— been doing too much woth mine

kemartini: Her hair came out beautiful

betty rubble: Beautiful smile when she was finished . Great new look ❤

Char D: I don’t see why not braid up the whole head except for leave-out? When the hair in between the tracks gets wet or frizzes up that’s gonna be extra heat styling to her own hair. And when it puffs up it will just be awkward looking. What are the benefits of this type of install unless the client’s hair texture matches the weave hair?

Loreal Jane: Her hair looks damaged and frail

Foxiecolmedena: Damaged hair be damned… That stylist went awfff. Sis talented Who is the stylist??

EpiC coconut: I just came for the comments that expressed EXACTLY what I was thinking.

Amaranthine Beauty: You are a true talent. Lovely!

TATINA: OMGGGG bleach just to achieve that color when you could’ve just used a high lift color to at least cause a little less damage Specifically the L’Oréal high color is a good one. I feel bad for the girl.

♡Cdimplesz♡: Her hair look fragile asf ,but this is what happens when the stylists see dollar signs ..even tho it turned out cute it's not what's best for the client homegirl will be at the same length or shorter messing with this stylists

Queen Mia: It looks so good

Mary Flanagan: I really love to see multiple techniques that I have in my head come to fruition! I’m still a little afraid of tape ins, but, see how versatile and full they can make the crown of the head. The micro link wefts provide a very good amount of volume and density. Ordering one pack of tape ins and dyeing all of the hair at once would be very economical. I’m trying to use up what’s in my collection. I’m cutting the combs off my clip ins cuz the metal things dig into my scalp. Thank for sharing.

Addicted To Success: Looks so good!

Sister O: Beautiful!

No turning back now: Dear, God this women is a miracle worker. Great job.

Illenial Lisette: Thats a beautiful color.

Renee Levin: Bleaching hair that is fine, thin, and already damaged seems to be going against trying to repair the hair. Just my 2 cents.

Jvst Kiki: It looks so good ❤

Stoney high High: LOVE THE COLOR

Evelyn Boyles: I agree. She was better off cutting her hair into fro and focus on hair and scalp health

easia banks: I see all these comments the customer don’t want to cut her hair off what she wants her to do is what she can and she did …. Trust she knows the condition of her hair and did not the stylist just tell you what she knew she’s transitioning from a relax, pixie, cut she did that from crack to blammmmmm wammmmmm thank you ma’am customer looks happy great job

SG: Her hair is so damn damaged.

Ms. Bee: Why would you take hair out, to add more hair. If she's going natural, she needs to let her damage hair breath. That means no color, bleach or chemicals. She needs a protective style and a natural hair treatment. Smh ‍♀️ That's why I learned how to do my own hair

jummai etuhu: Elegantly beautiful ♥️
