I told you you better stay later: hey loves! Welcome to my channel. My name is Winnie Jean, if you're new here and if you're returning, then hey girl, how you doing in today's video I'm using one of these kinky edged wigs y'all know that I've been obsessed with these lately. I love a good soft baby hair and having the baby hair be already. Curly is so convenient when you're going ahead and like laying your baby hair. So I'm here for it and today we're gon na do like a kinky curly Vibe with some really big swoopy baby hairs. Today'S video is sponsored by you nice something and support the wig. I'M going in with this razor and trimming out the extra Combs around the front. I only keep the one in the back and the hair was already pre-bleached down the middle and along the edges, but I wanted to just bleach the whole frontal just to have it so where I can switch it up whenever I want. So I'm using a little bit of Kaleidoscope, bleach powder and some 40 volume developer and I'm just doing my normal bleach in the knots process. I mix the bleach so that the texture is really thick and it doesn't seep through the lace it just coats. The knots foreign and then after I wash it, I let it air dry a bit and I'm going in with my pressing comb to just press back the hair. That'S going towards the back, I'm kind of separating out the baby hair combing it forward and then just pressing everything else back, because we're going to do a glueless install today and y'all know I'm scared of the hot comb so yeah once I get a basic slight Press going where I kind of have an idea of where all of the different hairs are going where everything is parted. I applied a little bit of hair wax and then I go in and really press it out to get it super bone straight and slicked back. It just helps to give the install a nice clean, look and then to make the knots actually match my complexion, I'm going in with some Foundation and applying that all over the lace to get a really natural install. I like to cut Jagged along the edges of the lace and leave a little bit of extra room, maybe a millimeter or two in front of the hairline. I don't know why, but it just works and because we're going to do it glueless today, I'm going in and trimming off any excess lace and fight me any adjustable straps. This one comes with a really thick detachable, one which I like to have really tight, and it also came with their normals. You know little thin adjustable straps in the back. I adjusted them both just so I can get the wig as tight as possible. It really helps to make your glue to some stalls last and look really natural. Once you apply the wig, you can kind of get a feel for how it's fitting on your head. I brought my ball cap down a little bit too far, so I'm just trimming it up a little bit to make sure that the lace covers it and everything is laying really nicely before I go in with my bold hold Liquid Gold gel to lay the lace Down I'm doing it in sections just because it makes everything a little bit neater, so I'm applying the gel, laying the lace and then going over it with a medium high heat on the blow dryer, and that just really gets everything. Nice and seeped in this gel is the bomb. If you know how to apply it, it's really really good at first, it took me a while to get the hang of it, but I love it for laying down my ball caps, and I also really like it for a glueless install. It keeps the ear tabs down with no problems once I finish applying the wig. I just comb my baby hairs out of the way and then apply my elastic band to get everything, nice and melted, and while we have that elastic band on we're actually going to start to tend to the actual hair. So I'm using a little bit of foam and mousse along the edges, just to get everything nice and Sleek in the front and start to kind of Define the curls yeah and then we're going to give her a little curly cut. Because I want this wig to fit kind of like a circle, a big like big curly Crown type of vibe, so I'm trimming the hair on the top to kind of create a circle shape. Basically, I'm just adding layers until I like the way that it looks and the reason why I'm cutting this while it's still curly is because you get a better idea of where the hair is going to fall. Once it's dry again - and I didn't want anything too dramatic - I literally just wanted to give it a little bit of shape, because sometimes wigs can kind of be a bit flat. If you don't give them any cut, and this is what I came up with. I went ahead and wet the hair down off of camera, and now I'm just applying a little bit of foaming mousse to my edges, and this is what I'm going to use to get the basic layout for what the baby hairs are going to look like now. I told y'all we were gon na go in today and when I said it, I meant it. It'S gon na get very okay, very Betty, Boop, very swirls for the girls. I had a great time with really just playing around with the baby hair and getting into like. You know, suit my face and give it some swirls. I did one of those little like Superman swirls in the front, and I fell in love and the baby hair is really like the star of the show for this style just because we're not doing a part in the hair, it's more of a flip over. So the baby hairs will be really exposed and they just you know, are gon na get their little shine on today. So after I went in with the foaming mousse, I applied a little bit of edge control and that just gave me a little bit more hold with the baby hair and I finalized how I wanted everything to lay, and I followed that up with my blow dryer And the diffuser attachment on cool to kind of give the hair a head start for air drying. I just didn't want it dripping all over the place when I got dressed. So this is a hair about 60 dry and then I went ahead and changed my clothes and got dressed, and this is the hair once it's big and fluffy and dry. As you can see, it's lots of definition in the curls. The baby hair looks amazing and the lace is laid. I hope that you guys really enjoyed today's video and I'll see you in my next one bye, babes
