How To: Closure Wig Using Sewing Machine/ Plucking Lace Tutorial / Wig Install

Foreign myself and I have not timed myself, making a wig in so long. I said you know what let me see how fast, because we did after this thing we're gon na put it on. I had a company, a company sent me some free hair and we still have to announce the winner to my last giveaway that we did and we still got to do some stuff with this hair. So we'll give you guys the information on what y'all got to do to win the wig that I'm about to make. So I have been teaching wig making forever before some of y'all were doing, I'm like uh, I'm like the um. What'S that um? No, I want to say something crazy. Like the uh tales of the crypt girl, I need somebody to get a timer. What'S up, what's up, what's up YouTube? What'S up Twitter, I don't know how long it take me to make a wig, but I said, let me tell myself then we're gon na put it on, so this hair is from. Let me tell y'all where this hair is from and we'll get this. I'M gon na give this wig away, but we're gon na apply it too. It'S a closure. It'S a five by five um. It'S called jrd Virgin Hair. That'S what it's called so y'all know that I am accepting hair from random companies. I'M not going to review the hair, I'm going to get the hair away, so y'all can review it and I also uh teach wig wake and I've been teaching that for over 15 years on a sewing machine, I've been teaching it for quite some time. I'M about to make this wig using this hair. I looked at the wealths, the wefts look pretty decent, it's safe version here, I don't know if it's I'm gon na put the specifics up on this weed when we load it to YouTube. I'M gon na color this wig before we give it away, because I have to do my little testing on the hair before I go out. Tell y'all the go bodies go by that? Actually, I'm not going to do it when I give it away. Whoever gets the wig is going to do the actual review. I'M gon na review it telling you what it do when I color it I'm gon na review it like. Is it shedding? Like my first like it's not shedding, I got a couple hairs, which is fine hairs, don't shed so much, but I'm not gon na give y'all no full review on no hair, absolutely no hair, because if I use hair, I'm only gon na either have it on. For an hour, so I can't give you a proper review, so the giveaways, the people and we're still I'm still waiting. I think we've said: we've been shipping, wigs off the people, that's been winning. It usually takes them about a week or two to do the review, because we want a real review because you got to wear the hair to give a real review. I got my assistant in there. Y'All put the questions in there, somebody who who got a stop clock. You got to stop clock all right, so I don't know how long it take me to make a wig no more. I have not turned myself in Forever, but this hair that I'm about to put together uh, I'm gon na put this on a deal. It'S we're gon na be doing it with uh. This is a 5x5 already put the closure on. I just got to put the traps on we're gon na color, this hair I'll make sure I upload all that on YouTube, how I feel about how it color, I don't know how it colors, but I'm about to make this wig Adidas gon na time me if Y'All can put your timer on that that'll help too, because I don't know how fast I am no more. You ready all right, let me at least drop my needle because I'm I'm like. I have not tied myself in Forever. All right, we ready. Okay, let's see how long it takes me to make this wig ready. You mark you tell me wig making for over 15 years. I teach it online. I don't know how long it takes me to make a week I used to make a wig in like 15 minutes. I don't know if I still got that speed, because I don't do it like that anymore. Okay, let's go what's the plastic part like is the final product you're gon na have plastic in the way. No we're going to remove that I'll. Remove it only live as well. What kind of stitch do you use? I just do straight line stitching I've. Never even seen a wig in any type of store, any type of wig that you purchase online, any type of special need that you purchase online. I only do straight line stitching if you want to do um zigzag, I suggest you never do it on the plastic. Uh caps you'll have a hard time getting the plastic out zigzag. Um people came up with that because they didn't want to stitch through the well foreign. But that's up to you. If you don't mind like it's, not a big deal, I just know it's probably not a good idea to do when you're doing the um. The ventilated caps with the plastic come on question. What about the attention, the tension? I teach you all of that online. I teach you how to set your attention. I teach you all the rules that you need in order to make sure that you don't uh, have that wig uh fittings, where it's too tight or too big I'll, show you how to adjust the wig caps to make it fit um custom for people. I show you so many different ticks. You get chips, you get like 30, something modules on the online and the online. I believe we have it very, very cheap. You got 30 models, you get it for six months. Um you get it for six months. I'Ll show you all the ins and outs six months was a pretty long time. You can watch it at your own convenience all for the day off in the night, um, it's only 200 or something we have to look and see the part. I don't know the right side, but we keep it very cheap, maybe you're using the wrong type of thread, and I talk about that on my online if it's not on the um on that um on your bobbin property that will cause damage, but a lot of People be using nylon thread. You don't want to use nylon thread, there's no wig in anybody's store, where you see them using nylon thread, don't use it. It'S going to jam come on questions where I'm at all the time y'all so far, you at four minutes and 18 seconds come on four minutes. Let'S see what we had to do come on, I'm getting this way together. I talk about the brand of the sewing machine on my own line. I have um throughout the years I have used so many different type of machines and what I do is I try to find the best machine that a beginner can use, but I try to make sure that the the uh what's most important to me is that Motor and brother ain't e singer is the second second down, so it ain't neither one of them. But if you want to know what what I use you can join my online. I go over all of that on my online uh education and it's it's for a very low price. I don't I try not to overprice a lot of stuff, not um. I just want people to be able to have an option to learn how to do something. You know either whether it's going to be something that's going to fulfill themselves or something that's going to help them make money. So I price it in you know when I feel like it should be. For me, you don't have to be outrageous for me, like it's cool, like everything on there is very uh decently priced and that works for me. If you want to charge a million, that's fine, there's nothing wrong with it. Somebody'S going to pay! It'S Farmers! No big deal, I'm not sure if you um said this already, but what type of film thread are they supposed to be? So I like to use uh, all-purpose thread, yeah All Purpose, three we're going to another bundle. We get these tracks even baby. Let'S go. Let'S go and then after I make the wig we're gon na put it on a deal, I'm gon na color it so that I can finish uh my observation of the hair from this company. I'Ll make sure I link where I got the hair, but I have to do uh. I always do a color test on it. So I can make my observation but to be honest for a real review. It'S gon na take a week or two weeks of wearing it to know what you have. I don't care what you heard. I don't care what people say. You don't have to wear it. You don't have to wash it a couple times. You cannot get a full review until the witness go on several times come on question when they say all perfectly. Are you talking about the 3DS to make clothes all-purpose thread that you purchased from from the uh sewing cup from any uh sewing store, such as Joann Fabric, it's going to say all purpose on it? They only have one um one set of threads. That say all purple foreign I do not, I only teach it. I only teach it. I do not have time to um provide customer service on that. That'S just something I don't do. I feel like this is a very uh luxury type of um service or you when you get into wig, making it's a very luxury, um uh service, and I always teach my students that I treat it just as such. I don't have the type of time to provide a luxury um customer service on that, because I have other Ventures that I do and I don't want to uh talk about on it. So pretty much I don't get myself involved in nothing. I don't um bite more than I can choose. Why did my needles keep snapping because you are using the wrong uh needle from wig making? I do my coloring reviews and my followers do the actual review. I don't allow that anymore. I provide all the machines. I provide all the machine if you want to. I guess you could, but I mean that way you just less to travel with. I guess you know, and everything is so I don't know you can slant it. However, you want, but I'm not I'm going in a huge uh, a semi-circle, a semi uh like a smile. You can okay, so y'all know. If y'all watch any of my videos on YouTube. I don't have any sun videos on YouTube. If you watch any of my videos, I always tell you guys, like the videos that you see me doing, the quick weaves, the same um um um diagram that I do. That was correct too. The same diagram or technique that I use to lay those tracks down. The same direction, you can do that with the sewing machine, it's the same, except for it's gon na last longer on the machine, and it depends on the quality of the hair. How long it'll last? But you can also just say like if you like. I have some wigs that I made with raw hair and I've had those wigs for like five years. Sometimes these caps will stretch out no matter what kind of cap you use. They will stretch out so um. I do teach you how to recap The Weave on my own eyes what I'm at on time, 10 minutes, I'm gon na beat my 15 minutes. I used to make wings in 15 minutes. I probably won't make it. Why does the hair keep getting trapped for Sands? Well, baby, I'm almost done making this wig and my wig ain't got trapped or jam. It could be the type of machine a lot of times. If you get a cheap machine, the motor ain't strong enough, they actually the machines that I suggest they used to be a little bit more than what they are now they put down here they went down on the price. I was happy to see that, but um it depends on like that's, what's important that motor that's, why you can't just pick up any machine and try to make a wig. You can pick up any machine and make some clothes. I might not make that 15 minute. Mark but I would try: oh it's right, how long you've been making weeds and what made you want to make them I've been making weeds for over 20 years, I started off my career in hair replacement, um, I'm gon na tell a quick story, so I was In um cosmetology school and my teacher uh Misty had a friend that had cancer and she um I was gluing The Weave. I wasn't making them on the machine, so miss e brought her in um because her hairstylist, you know how you have some people that only specialize in certain things and her her hair stylist did not know how to work with weave at all, and so she didn't, Like the wigs out the beauty supply store, and you know how they could be, that could be very traumatic when you lose your hair. You know for a woman, I'm a man too, and so um told this lady, that I was the baddest thing: smoking I'm like Misty, I'm all right and so um I went. The beauty. Supply store was right there by us and I went to the store grabbed. Some hair she showed me a picture of how her hair used to be her hair was so long. Oh, my God yeah we weren't working with closures and stuff back then yeah, but her hair was so long and I actually made a wig just glued it. On the cap, how y'all see me doing on YouTube and on here you know the shorter versions uh made her wig and she cried kind of like wailing crying, so everybody was like what's going on, what's going on, so people was coming over there and it made Me cry, and I was like I know I had told myself in the beginning I was like. I don't want to be the hairstylist that only know how to do one thing right and that made me in that moment it made me kind of like uh go towards Hair Replacement, but I still try to make sure that I knew how to do everything, because I didn't want that to happen to me, because when a woman comes to you like when you're going to the salon, that's like a fan, that's like an extended family and it's a very it's personal. It'S like going to a gynecologist, you think, or am I going too far anyway? I like that, because it's personal, it's like somebody they're in your personal space. A stranger is in your personal face. But to me like that's, you know I don't anyway, so it's like going to the go to college and I just feel like. I don't want that to happen. To somebody that's been with me for 15 years. I can't service them, they got ta go somewhere else and she even was have to build up the nerve to come to a beauty school. There'S, no privacy in there there's no privacy in there. So I think that kind of pushed me towards uh wig making from Michigan baby, because you know that's all we do up there like that's what that that's what it was. It was the haircut over the internet. So that's how I started yeah. Have you ever bowed over the track like you're, throwing, instead of cutting the lift? Why or why not? Let'S talk about it so for me, like I, was discussing earlier a lot of times, I'm going to use virgin here. I'M gon na use virgin hair right and you ain't gon na go in no store and find out when you you can either go online and order expensive. Wigs from big companies. You ain't gon na, never find a week. That'S folded over right. But let's talk about it unless I need you to put on your thinking cap real quick, and I want you to imagine what I'm about to say in your mind, if I was using Raw Hair, think about it close your eyes and just travel down this journey With me think about it, come on create Us close your eyes. Just imagine I'm working with raw hair. I make a wig on the floor. Machine close your eyes, and I layer it put some layers in it right and I make this wig for someone I'm in charge of 1500 use Raw Hair, whatever y'all know how I go - and I already explained to you if you just jumped on this live already Explained to you that sometimes not sometimes the wigs will stretch over time so I'll have to take those tracks off, I'm losing my time. What time is it? I have to take those tracks off and I'll have to put it on another cap, because the Caps stretch out, if I remove tracks from a wig that I have folded over because I'm thinking my head, I'm thinking. Oh it's going to shed it's going to shed. If I uh don't fold it over, I already I teach you on the online how to stop the shed if I didn't cut some hair off. If I didn't layer this hair I've been folded it over on the machine. If I have to remove those tracks and put it on another cap, I could guarantee you that that wig will be chopping is guaranteed and it's you don't have to cut it and that person gon na be mad. So no it's other ways to prevent the shedding. I just always have to be so extra money. I always got to be extra extra good question, so I talked about that on my online as well. If you don't do that, you can you can end up not realizing that you didn't push the wig or pull the wig and made the wig too big or too small by pushing it. So I'm checking it. It don't. Take me two seconds. A lot of people do that, especially when we do the competition. I always wonder why they never check the wig and you I'm trying to give you five dollars, because you didn't take uh, that extra little step to check it and make sure you're not pushing or pulling. But we talk about that debt on the online. He just until teach us again foreign I was talking to my babies and I didn't went past. My 15 minutes yeah, it's worth it, it's worth it it's worth it. They working say you make a wig look good, it's so bomb! Okay! You sew over the tracks. So it lasts longer, you can but you're gon na make your machine sticky. Now I used to try to teach that for people that was having a hard time making a wigs, because they just would have a hard time putting. I really don't like to suggest that guys, because you gon na make it sleepy, but I teach you like some shortcuts, just like I'm able to come on here and teach y'all how to use this bulb hole product. I try to make sure that when I'm uh teaching and talking to you that I make it, I try to simplify it as much as possible so that even a five-year-old could understand what I'm saying. So I teach you how to how to get it in there. Without having to do that or mess up your machine foreign all right last chance get off my knees last track guys in class. Do you teach about using different caps like don't have birth control yeah? I teach you on both and if you sign up for my hands on you're gon na automatically get the uh the online I used to make them sign up for it separately. But now no that way you can go back home and listen to it over and over and over and over. I have not put up any classes just yet y'all so y'all have to wait. I have a lot going on, but a lot of my students do teach as well. I do post them a lot of times. I post them with my stories or I just repost them every year, mainly on my uh Instagram page, but right now I don't have any uh Hands-On classes listed, but that online is available all right. Yeah. The online business is available 365 days a year period. The wig is done done that which one is better ventilation or not that so I'm gon na tell y'all this. I I personally feel like. Let me tell you something: y'all listen to me. I personally feel, like you all, make any videos on the person, because sometimes in the summertime people prefer the ventilated cap, just because it's more breathable. I just do want you to listen to this. Your 35 and older, your uh younger people, they're gon na, want the other cat I kind of like the uh, even though we did a closure right here, I kind of like the um the Dome chat with the closure. That'S just a purpose. I like how it uh plugs in it, but I do teach you how to make this uh feel nice and snug. So we did it. What did I do? 21 minutes? Actually. 20 minutes. Yes, I could do 15 minutes we're about to put this on a deal and style it but, like I said before, we do the giveaway on this one. I suggest you make wigs on different type of wig caps right um and then you have like a wig party and you try to see like what majority of the people like you could do that sometimes having too many options. If you a small business, you don't have an assistant, you don't have help actually sometimes offering too many options will be too overwhelming for you. So that's something to think about drop them. Questions y'all right when you make products and you size up on the appendices, so uh size up. No, I actually show you how to size it for that person. I also show you how to make small, medium and large wigs, because sometimes people just want a ready-made wing and they don't care if they have a little wiggle room here and there, but I'll teach you how to customize wigs for each individual on my own, if You do zigzag or straight Stitch. If you just joined us, I never do zigzag. It'S not a purpose of mine. I feel like you, use up too much thread and you cannot use zigzag on the plastic, ventilated caps, because it's going to be hard to get the plastic out. It'S gon na be hard to get that plastic out. Y'All you're gon na be mad. So that's pretty much it like that. Doesn'T take long. I want to say all together what time, what time? What'S the time you stop the clock? Okay, so how did I end up doing that? I'M just gon na squeeze behind the hairline. I'Ve seen them. I know because I'm probably about to be late, but we got ta put this Weeds on real, quick. So I'm gon na tweeze out this area right here. It makes it look most natural. You saw how it looked on her. She was like, I don't think so. I just be trying to be do something different because everybody you go through that timeline after they look the same. So I'm like, let me see if I can make some funny looking hair look kind of cute. They was like I hated it. I'M like well, who made these kids just look at the creativity part, not just making a miracle out of ramen noodles here so cute, though, let's say I've been getting so many compliments on that hair and I'm just thinking y'all. This is nine dollar hair y'all. Don'T even know right, they're, ramen noodle. This is me also trying to talk more in us, so you can move quickly right because I show I get distracted. I got ta stop and look at you and be like girl, it's a passion, taking the hair and not pulling it okay. So what I want y'all to do, leave the plastic on your lace before y'all start tweezing. If you still um kind of try to get this uh tweezing down practice, tweezing on that lace, that don't have hair on it, so that you can practice not Peach in the legs practice tweezing on the front part of the lace that don't have hair so that You can practice not pinching it, because if you pinch it you're gon na put a hole in it, foreign that was scary, Airy like that she came through. She came through with that bag, though, with that bag idea, because I was like I don't know how this don't look disclaimer. I have to do the video because I already told my nieces and nephews I was gon na. Do it disclaimer, I don't know. What'S about to happen, disclaimer just came out so cute. You can't really see because it's wet right here. How do you fix a frontal that was cut wrong before applying you're, probably gon na have to tweeze, like I did a video go back and look on my on my uh, my page and you'll see I tweezed off more hair and started over if they cut It too close, then it's gon na look like Eddie Munster, so what you have to do is you have to actually go across the front of it and take that hair out and start over. What lace should we be using? That is going to depend on your lifestyle, because I like Swiss lace and I like HD lace, Swiss laces, don't last longer, but everybody don't know how to make it blend, because it's so thick. So that's that's the thing you have to think about like can. I replace this HD lace if I stretch it out too much uh what? If what? If the HD, because HD laser will go bald on you, quick! It'S! It'S um! It'S a High um, it's an expensive service. So you have to be able to determine what your budget is when you're dealing with these laces, but Swiss lake is going to last longer. The lace is more detectable, but you it can be hidden if you go watch some of my videos on my um on my YouTube and I have some videos on here, but you know what with the HD lace, let me tell y'all, I mean not HD Swiss Lace, I have to use glue. That'S my that's my go-to. If I'm doing Swiss lace, um ain't no um temporary hole, gon na get it yeah. I actually tried that yesterday. That'S why I took my league right back up yeah, so you're gon na have to do glue the glue get rid of the grids. It was such a bomb milk. I ain't gon na lie with the glue now with the yes with the glue, but when I used uh Liquid Gold, oh yeah, the milk was good. I just couldn't now it's gon na be good. I feel like it's. Okay, like it just depends like the what angle you get like in the camera. That'S where I'll be running into like that's, where it'd be getting me making me like.
