Welcome beautiful people i am chef b, welcome back to my channel, make sure you are subscribed down below yo for today's video we're about to style this unit from najula.com, and i want to show you guys what i got in my package, and this is what the Hair is looking like straight out of the package, so i got this hair in 18 inches, it is their kinky curly hair in a 13 by four leaves frontal and a hundred and fifty percent density. So i want to show you guys what it looks like straight out um. I did co-wash the hair just to make sure that it's nice and clean, and even though it had those baby hairs in the front, the knots were also dark. So i did have to bleach this hair and it did take a while to process, so i feel like it could have stayed a little bit longer, but honestly was sitting there for like 40 minutes, and i didn't want to overly process it. So i'm working with that 45 minutes of processing, but i feel like i could have gone longer, but also i have this habit of over bleaching. So i'm not girl, you better go wash that stuff out, so it was really dense in the front, meaning that it was really full, and i needed this wig to look as natural as possible because it is a curly hair. So it is gon na have that full density in the front if it's not already pre-plugged, so i'm gon na have to put some wrist into it and do some plucking and i plucked it as much as i could at the time and then i'm gon na Go in with some water to loosen up the curls in the front just to see if i could get it to lay as far as i can, and also to remove all that loose hair that i plucked, because i don't want the hair to shed. You know. So you need to get that out, so i'm gon na go in with my detangling brush. This is gon na work, two ways: it's gon na remove that excess hair that i plucked and also redefine the curls in this hair and girls. The curl is popping the curls are so beautiful. I am loving a short curly hair for the summer, like girl is hot outside, so we're gon na go with the shorter length and 18 inches and again well, not again, but just to mention that 18 inches is the stretch length of the curly hair and not In its curly state and then we're going to cut off the um little stringy ends at the bottom because it was really stringy. I understand why it was so stringy at the bottom, so i had to go in with my scissors to just shorten it a little bit because um we needed to look like premium quality and honestly. This here was a hundred and forty five dollars at this moment. In eighteen inches, so i wanted to give you guys something on the more affordable side. So it's not a hd lace. It'S not gon na be like those super premium lace. It'S just like a regular lace with this unit. So keep that in mind. That'S just a regular lace and um. I'M gon na go in with some mousse right now to get those curls to be um, super defined and stay in place to prevent the frizzing and all that unwanted stuff, and this is how the hair is looking right now. As i said, it's just regular lace and we need it to to melt as best as we can y'all we're going to work. This lace, okay work it. So this is what the hair is looking like when it's semi-dry and i also needed to match my scalp. I need to match my complexion, so i'm gon na go in with my bronzing powder and i'm just gon na try to apply that to the lace itself, because i don't have 18 spray at this moment. So if you have a teen spray, it's going to look way better than mine honestly. But if you got makeup you got a foundation that can work for you, girl go for it like we're just going to try anything that we can at this moment. So i'm a lazy girl and i don't do wildcat method. I just do regular installation and i don't use anything. That'S gon na be harsh on my edges and i'm gon na show y'all in a second just a friendly reminder to cut off that lace in the back of your wig. I know a lot of times people be forgetting to remove that lace in the back like if you're not going to use it like cut it, and also i tightened the band in the back so that, if i wanted to, i could have worn this wig blue. Less, and also for it to be as snug on my head as possible, i'm just gon na bring the wig forward. Look how it's looking and the wig was slightly like just a tad bit too small for my head, meaning how the shape of my front stays like the front lining of my edges is: is that the two sides are close to my eyebrows and then the middle Goes back as opposed to a widow's peak, so you know. Sometimes you got ta customize that unit to look like how your natural hair lining looks, or it's gon na be a little bit weird. But with this hair, the front size didn't come out enough for me to cut the excess um here in the front like it's gon na be too much cutting off. So i had to just go with the widow's peak. Okay, so girl, i'm gon na, have a widow's pink with this wig, like the features, are gon na, be a little bit different, but um we're going to work. It also i'm just parting the hair on the back to make sure that the width in the back is covered. You don't want the wind to blow and then all your weft is out like that ain't, never cute. So we're going to go in with the ebi and spray, and this is what i mean when i say i don't do bald cap method and i use something: that's not going to be harsh on my hair lining. So this is what i've been using a little bit of water to remove it and i'm good to go like. I don't want that harsh tan line. That is, i'm seeing a lot of girlies have because of those harsh glues and all that um alcohol to remove and all that extra ish. That girl got time for that. So i just use what i got to use and i prefer to to to say my edges than to get that that that that look like i'm sorry like i'm not going for it and then i'm going to go in with my scissors to cut off that Excess lace and to get this lace to be as blended as we possibly can now. For this part, this is for the girlies that want to do the swoop. Honestly, i didn't even need the swoop. I just did it because a little bit of lace was in the front and i couldn't cut it because of um. How far down the sides of my edges come down, because if i was to cut it like my natural edges, would like peek through, and i don't want that. So i'm leaving the excess lace on the side. And then i'm going to take a little bit of the hair to create that swoop, and also i'm going to put makeup on the parting just to make it look as much as my scalp as possible and also to hide the grids on the lace. And this is a girl like we're going for, like a whitney, houston type of 80s type of girl situation. You feel me for the summer, like yes, girl, you got ta work it again. This wig right now is retailing for a hundred and forty five dollars.
