This looks uh hi girls and welcome back it's laurishia, Andrea and how to make an affordable wig look. Expensive videos are back. This wig, you guys see here, is from ion hair and I've had it since November of last year and yes, Yoga La still, has it still wears it in all? It'S actually my go-to wig. When I'm in a rush - because I know I can install it in under 30 minutes, including straightening, the hair and it looks like a fresh silk press every time, this wig is definitely in need of a wash girl. Okay, clean the lace in a reinstall, but also make sure you guys stay tuned for later, because I'll be doing a talk through using new products that you guys might want to stick around for so, let's get started. The first thing I do is wash the lace and the product I love to use to remove all the buildup of lace, spray and makeup it's from the nine defined. This is actually a black owned company and it gets all the residue from the lace in one wash. I put a good amount of product on the lace where I see build up and gently grab the product into the lace and wash it out. My favorite shampoo to use on natural hair is actually from ion and it's their moisture shampoo. This is amazing on a jet black hair, it makes the hair look like Silk keeps that nice shine on the hair after washing the wig, and I just massage that shampoo and detangled the hair with a wide bristle brush, and I will link the one that I'm Using in this video down below, lastly, I'm finishing with conditioner from Aussie and it's the miracle moist conditioner, I apply that to the hair as well and let it sit for one hour before washing it out this shampoo and conditioner combo is superb. You guys, I really recommend it to you girls, to try it out. I will make sure I put all the products in the description down below and also guys. One last tip I want to give you guys is when you finish washing your wigs, never blow dry them. This has been a trick. I have learned over the years, just let the Wick air dry overnight. Trust me. It works okay, y'all. So, let's jump right into the video, I already went ahead and washed the wig cleaned, the lace and all that, and now I'm going to be reinstalling the wig. This is literally, like my go to wig. I cannot stress that enough. I'Ve had this wig for about 11 months now. This is my last minute wig. My 30 second wig, no, not 30 seconds. My 15 minute install wig. It'S like my everything and it looks so real. You would have thought it was really my hair and on top of that, it's only 200 dollars so to prep I'm going to be pushing back my natural hair with some edge control. You all see me, do you see me my hair is growing back. My hair is growing back, it has been so many months since my hair has been acting correctly enough to make me feel comfortable to grow it back because I've had bald spots. I have my hair's been thinning, it was falling out, it was just it. It was going through it. Okay, we got edges. Okay, we have edges is the edge control. I'M going to be using today is from I'm assuming the company is high key. It'S the high key instant edge control. It does not flake my hair at all. I have a force, not 4C. I have a 3C 4A hair texture, so my hair texture is a little bit annoying because it's the hardest thing to find products that work for my hair. But over the years I have noticed that water-based Edge controls, water-based gels - really do the thing with my hair. So I'm going to take this and put it on my edges, but I'm going to use this comb and put like a good amount on the back of my hand, because I don't want this all in my nails and I'm just going to gel back my edges. You guys see that it looks so good foreign brush to brush back my edges even more and then blow dry. So this is Fiona after she's, been washed. Lace has been washed with a 200 wig. Of course, we already know we got to do some work. Okay, so I'm going to have to re-tint this lace, that's number one, and I'm also going to put my scalp tape on The Parting space to make it look a lot more believable in like real Scout, the lace tint I'm going to go in with you guys Are always asking me what type of lace tint that I use and I use the Erica J lace cute in dark brown? I do not think that Erica makes her lace shoes anymore, so I am on the works to find another lace tint. That is pretty good and affordable that I like and maybe do a video on that I found one that I may or may not like. I have not tried it yet I'm going to be trying it in my next video so make sure you guys want to look out for that. It'S definitely still kind of wet. I'M just gon na blow dry it a little bit more, but it matches my complexion perfectly. That'S why I love the Erica J lace Hues. I am so salty. I love these. They just match my complexion so good. All right now, I'm gon na go in with my lace tape. I have a entire video about this out on my channel. It is a dedicated video. I walk you guys through exactly how to apply it on the lace how to blend it. In with a ball cap or without a ball cap in today's video, I'm not going to be using a ball cap. So when doing that, I'm just going to take it and measure it from where I want it to start and end. So this is a 13 by 4 wig. I'M not gon na make it like too far back so maybe I'll cut it like right here - and I love this because I've used this about five times now and I still have a pretty thick roll. I love it. So much I just wish they had deeper colors. I might reach out to the brand and be like hey. You know, dark skinned. Women out here want to try your product and we don't want to have to use makeup. So we make one more complexion. Do you see uh, do you see evil foreign is check. Lace grid is check as best it's going to be. I have like a little boating spot like over here, which I mean I've had this way for 11 months. So it's not like that's uncommon. To have balding on the lace, all I did was just take a eyebrow pen that I use from NYX and just do like little strokes over here and over here, and I also put some Foundation powder in The Parting. It looks good to make so now I'm going to install it, but I installed it a different way now, as far as like reinstalling, my wigs, the first thing I do that the first thing I use that is different. Is this even sensitive lace, spray? I have an entire video on this as well. Okay, all my videos are always in order. They are gon na start to notice that about my channel, so I'll make sure I put a card in this video and also link it down below, but I am going to be using this even sensitively spray, because my face is getting better. It'S getting a lot better than what it was but, but I still have like you know some congestion still on my forehead. So I just kind of want to stick to the sensitive evenly spray because it does not break me out even further and also it's a really good hold. I don't know what it is about these two combinations, but when I use this edge control - and I use this even spray on top that hold girl - the hold is serious. I will show y'all later on in the video it's about to change your life. I'M first going to spray the even in concentrated directly on my hairline, I'm going to do that for my entire perimeter. I'M not going to focus on the lace until the perimeter is nice and tight, and then I will move on to laying down the lace foreign. It is looking good girl, it's looking good girl, okay, I have my perimeter down and oh, it is uh, it's so snug and tight. I am going to just go through any parts where you guys can see. The lace is still a little bit lifted. Instead of doing like how I used to do and spray the lace spray directly on the lace it gets on, my forehead, it gets on the rest of the hair. I just decided to stop doing that and now I take a rat tail comb spray, a good amount on the end of the comb and I'm gon na go wherever I see areas of the lace lifted and put like a good amount on like it should be Drenched take my blow dryer blow dry for six seconds first, because you don't want to do it directly on it's going to be way too. Tacky just believe me when I say after six seconds press that join down look how it's just going down and once I push it down, I'm just going to blow dry it for another 20 seconds and then move on to the rest of both sides. And then I will show you guys what it looks like when I'm done: okay, girls, the wig, is installed and looks great. Now, I'm going to flat iron, the wig, with my EAP heat 1.5 inch flat iron hands down the best flat iron to get that Silk. Rest look to your wigs. It'S pretty expensive, I'm not gon na lie, but I really recommend to catch these flat, irons and tools from EAP heat when they have a lot of sales, especially on Black Friday. Just as a reminder, this is Ion hair. It'S a 13 by 6 HD body, wave lace, front wig, it is 180 density and I did color it jet black. I do have a jet black tutorial out on my channel I'll, make sure I put both of those in this video but y'all. This hair is so silky. It is so beautiful. Oh, my gosh, I just love it so much so I'm just finishing off this last part of the video doing my Glam, because that's literally what I do every time, I'm finishing off my look, whether I'm filming or not, filming and look how popping this wig looks From now compared to before, it's not even the same wig, and it does this to me every single time, even a year later, okay uh, this looks uh. Do y'all understand why this is my favorite go-to wig. You see how simple it is. You see how easy it was like girl. This insult takes me like 20 minutes. No, like five minutes to straighten the hair. The hair is so silky, it's silky every time this literally can be my hair. Like I don't care, this could be my hair. It is what it is. Yes, yes, yes, I got, this wig is so affordable, but yet it looks so expensive. I get so many compliments on this wig every single time I wear it. I'Ve been wearing this wig for 11 months. It is no cap here. I definitely have a video 11 months ago introducing this wig to my channel. It does not let me down. I only have washed this wig about four or five times now out of that 11 months. It'S so easy, even when I take just wig off right now. I'M gon na put it to the side and probably wear it again tomorrow and not have to wash it again for another few months, because it's just I don't know it's just something about this texture that just makes it so that I don't really have to wash It that often but yeah you guys, let me know how you guys, like this video and thumbs up this video, if you guys want me to start doing more, making affordable, wigs, look expensive, I'm kind of losing my lighting right now, so I'm gon na finish off This video, thank you guys so much for watching. Thank you ion hair for sponsoring this video and, as always I'll catch you on my next one, bye guys! Yes, okay! Yes, let's get into this! You see this silk honey. Okay! The only word I have is yes. Okay, yes, let's get into this listen! This wig is lit. Okay, listen! This wig is lit. Let'S get into this, I can't help myself. This wig is so popping. Can I get a ring this week? Is so popping? Yes, it is just say: hey y'all, see my twin though

Laurasia Andrea: *update update: the price has been updated back to the $200 range. *Update: I see the company updated the price from the original price I stated in the video. This was done without my knowledge and for those that don’t know how I role with these companies, i don’t play and nothing goes on this channel without it being addressed. I reached out to have them adjust the price back to $200 and will keep you updated. Sorry for the confusion (Original comment)* Some may think $200 is expensive, but everyone’s budget is different. To me, $200 for human hair is affordable. Never was this video misleading because the title and thumbnail both have $200 in it. If you feel like $200 is not cheap then I have a $60 wig video for people in that budget you can watch. For people that finds $200 for human hair cheap, then this is the video for you. Please don’t start accusations of me saying “your poor” if you can’t afford this particular wig. I do videos for a variety of peoples budgets. It’s all about finding what budget is yours.
KVNG KAY: People are really overlooking the point of the video. Whether you think $200 is “cheap” or not she’s showing us how to revitalize a wig no matter how much the wig costs. Y’all know good and well she’s not calling anyone poor or broke, check your insecurities.
ADA: Did you just call me poor for 14 minutes?
Moriah: $200 is very affordable for a great quality human hair wig, especially at that length. Obviously, that may not be in people's budgets but it doesn't mean it isn't affordable for what it is.
Dominique Lyles: I've been watching you for years I love how specific you are with the details Like 6 Seconds was really perfect
Deborah M: Looks soooo good. You are super informative. I love your videos. I learn alot even if I can't afford or do what you do. it's great to watch you anyway. Keep doing what you do God Bless
LOVE.ELISE: YESSS TECHNIQUES! I BEEN LOOKING FOR A WAY TO NOT HAVE THE TACKY LOOK FROM SPRAYING THE LACE SINCE I DON'T LIKE GLUE. LOVE THE LACE TAPE AND THE TECHNIQUE TO FILL IN THE BALD SPOT. DEFINITELY USING THAT ON MY TWO YEAR OLD WIG. GOING TO INSTALL MY WIG TONIGHT USING THESE TECHNIQUES. THANKS BEAUTIFUL
The Unique Life Of Four: Hi Queen ❤️! I so glad to see you post today. I'm little under the weather but your video made me smile! Love the content sis and can't wait until the next video !
Veronica D: Yes, more videos like this would be great! Thanks
Brianna Bryan: $200 (cad) is very reasonable for a wig. Anything more, I’d make it myself and not have to settle with a thin 150 density wig
Blackberry- Rose: You look Absolutely Gorgeous ♥️ the jet black color, sleekness and texture. You slay every time Tyfs.
Malika Trotter: Soooooo bomb and so natural! QUEEN❤
2hotkoko: Love u girly! Glad you’re sharing again. Can you tell us how you store you’re wigs? Like how and where did you keep that wig for the past 11 months? And do you wash it after every wear? Or do you take it off, pack it away, and then wash it when you pull it out for the next wear?
Missy Grando: I am glad you are getting your tresses back like you want. Great tips about washing and not blow drying the wig too. It will give you another 11 months with the care you put into it.
I.am.Sharee: You did that girl…… it’s definitely poppin!!! ♥️
Aleisha.: Oooooh this wig refresh is just Do you use a heat protection spray or serum to minismise heat damage on the wigs you wear most often?
Ameerah B: You always do a good job can you possibly do more videos coloring natural textured wigs, you do bomb hair coloring but would definitely love to it on natural hair as well.
Linda DeeDee Harvey: Absolutely beautiful and gorgeous ❤
DarlingKnikki: Im new(ish) to the wig world and have experienced hits and misses with the "$200" tier wigs. Mostly fitting issues. I honestly thought these wigs were the standard but from this video maybe not? I'd love to see a video comparing the "tiers". In the mean time, what are some "Expensive"/Luxury hair brands I should check out?
sha: The way that lace tint worked was crazy
manny: I always look forward to your videos every week , also i seen msroshposh use the tape that had a scalp color to it instead having to add makeup
FIRE CROCHET HAIRSTYLES 🔥: How do you properly store a wig? I just throw it in my closet Also, if you have tips on how to make an "everyday" wig last for a year or so, that would be super helpful ☺️✨
Emeth: Beautiful Yes, Yes, Yes. This hair is beautiful.
Elena L: $200 for a lace front wig that's 100% human hair that last over a year is very Adorable, Most Hair that's under $200 will not last a year with daily wear. Most of the time hair that's under $200 will be processed floor hair that's made from multiple hair donors that's the worst kind of hair, they can even have a Fish smell when wet In the hair world we call that bad hair! I would stay away from hair like that For your safety! But if you do decide to get Bad quality hair last minute use essential oils to get rid of the hair smell and use apple cider vinegar to remove some of the chemicals that's in the hair! All wigs require revamping especially human hair! I loved this video you did amazing revamping this gorgeous unit❤️
Sherrie Lilly: Girlaaaaaa! You are the best!!!!
kionia Weaver: you will always be fine short hair long hair either way
Abimbola Oduwole: People commenting on price in terms of cheap are forgetting it’s a relative term. From what I know, very high quality wigs are like $500 and up. $200 is mid level, can last you a year or longer with good upkeep. A cheaper wig (less than $100) may only last a few months. It’s no different from like talking about cars. $1000 can get you a used car but it won’t be a good one, so that could be considered cheap however $1000 is still a lot of money if you’re making minimum wage. It’s all relative so like that should always be understood when words like ‘cheap’ are thrown around.
Rose Gold: I wish you could do my makeup and hair for my graduation next month
Jolie’s World ♏️♏️: We need that lace tint sis but love the video
1poised: Hey luv, Can you share what you did to grow your hair back? Products, techniques and how long (time frame)?
Just H: Damn that wig is DOUBLE the price. In 1 year though?? Sheesh ♀️ even with that discount and shipping not yet calculated. Imma just go ahead and revive my 2 year old wig cuz hunni no! Mi budgeto is no bueno
D Cannon: FINALLY mama fairy… been waiting for this to drop… ♥️
Arts by B Ware: Yesss I’ve missed you
T Henderson: $200 may seem expensive to some people but for people who wear human hair extensively this is cheap. I do not wear these types of wigs but I get it.
Adrienne Davis: Flawless
Lorraine Leonard: Bomb my friend as always
Person405: YUHH 20 outta 10
Pree Melice: This wig at 24’ is more like $346 WITH the code!♀️♀️♀️♀️
Lotto (Miss Lottery): How about you create a line of your own lace tint ♀️
Lesa w: Can you do an updated elastic band, I can't seem to get right, hand sewn wig
Laurasia Andrea: Let see who can find my secret in the video
Abimbola Oduwole: Isn’t it more like $300 if it was $290 after a discount?
jacinta rivers: Yesssss girlaaaa
{レン}Ren: Is $200 for a wig already not expensive? Edit: no one’s gonna argue with someone over what your budget is. But even the wealthy can probably admit/acknowledge that it’s not cheap for a wig for most people. Especially for someone’s YouTube audience. Just saying. It’s still not that deep tho.
Elicia Jones: Your website should be hyperlinked
Linda DeeDee Harvey: I’m waiting on that new bald cap video
Sunny: What kind of lace tape? I didn’t see it in the description 10/19
