Hi and welcome to part two of me messing up my hair for a split die. So, as you guys know, I've had black and white hair. This has all been black black blonde um and I yesterday in my previous video, I decided to take the Black Box die out of this and honestly, if you look at the difference, I did get a lot of it out, but it's still very yellow and not As light as this now, I don't expect it to be perfect. Platinum like this at all, but this just isn't gon na work. My other option was to just dye all of my hair black and then, when I go out. I just hide all my real hair and wear a wig and show my real roots and then on my hair heal and that's not like a good idea and I do feel like I need to trim my hair and everything, but today we're gon na give it One last shot to see if I can get this to a split die and all that good jazz. Now my ends are damaged. So again, I should probably clip them. I just don't feel like at the moment I'm really sweaty from painting and so cutting my hair. Just seems like a big old itchy mess right now, but if we will acknowledge my hair is very healthy, except for the ends like I do a lot of taking care of my hair when I'm not brutally dyeing it. So this is actually shiny. Healthy feels soft and everything um, because during the week and everything I avoid conditioner because I'm a very oily scalp, the oily scalp helps moisturize my hair. I don't need conditioner um and then I use a leave-in of strengthening and olaplex or K18. Almost every time. I wash my hair so that keeps it healthy. Just the ends always look so fried. My hair is naturally thin genetically, but there's my little PSA on. Oh, your hair is going to fall out. No, it's all! It'S all good, it's all good! So let's do this! Damn thing so what I did is I placed another Al Sally's order. Now I had two toner options already to get it to be less yellow. However, I feel like if it lifted especially the ends, the roots are beautiful. The roots are a beautiful color. If I got this yellow to lift a little bit and over the same time, that would probably work better. So from Sally's I ordered some 30 30 volume developer, because I wanted this to be a semi-quick process and two packs of this L'Oreal, quick blue, because I didn't know how much I would need, which is a bleach with a little bit of blue on it. On the color wheel, opposite of Orange Is Blue and I've had really bad luck with purple products recently, like shampoos, conditioners leave-ins everything, so I figured blue might give me a little better of a chance to get this right. We'Re gon na leave this alone, so without any further Ado, I'm gon na change, pin up this hair and everything and we will be good to go. I'M excited like I just want this to be done and be happy with my hair again, because this yellow is like so not me all right, so my hair is separated down here, pinned and pinned, and this is what the quick blue again, it's called quick blue, Says you can do it for up to 50 minutes it's 20 to 30 volume. I don't like that. I'M not doing that nearly that long, because I just I just needed the blueness to tone it out a little bit and lift a little. So this is supposed to do both of those things I need. For me, this is the color. It'S not very blue, but I guess it was neon. Blue I'd be even more scared. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to do my best to do small sections at a time and uh? Do it I'm not worried as much about the roots. I will do the roots the very last seconds, because the ends is what I need to just tone and lift. I also know there's some yellow in this uh piece that I pinned back, but I really just didn't want the pieces that are pretty Platinum to turn. Blue, so let's get started you guys, I'm optimistic about this. Also I am. I was painting earlier today before I started this video to try to get a new flip to current video out for you, I've been working on two, I wanted to say three, but I think I scrabbed one of them. Two kitchen island, high top bar and bathroom to laundry room videos for the flip, the Crypt series, since it's been a really long time since I posted one. However, those are just gon na take way too long to finish so, I'm trying to like paint my entry upstairs like when you first walk upstairs and the staircase and hopefully have that decorate and everything for one of those flip decrypt videos, because I'm tired of that Part of my house being beige like you look at my staircase and it's just beige and I hate it so I figured I would fix that problem and also start a new flip, the Curt video that could be done quicker than the other two that I've been Working on for two or three months now, it feels like also look how good those roots are. I don't need to mess with that. I was thinking upstairs to be kind of. Like a I mean, I guess I figured when we moved in. I just always figured it's not really a space that we could like utilize, the best so maybe I'll, put like a small loveseat or a little table with two chairs or something up there. It'S like a little setting look for Aesthetics, I'm not really sure what to do with that area. So if you have a two-story home or apartment or whatever um, because I know people have townhouses, I don't know why I called a department, townhouse or house or whatever with two stories or you grew up in one, because I never had a two-story house growing up The first two house story house I've ever lived in. What do you do with the top of the stairs like when you walk up the stairs? There'S always like an area before you get to bedrooms or whatever you have up there different rooms? What do you do with that area because I am at a loss again, I was thinking like a little love seat or table, but like what purpose would it actually serve? I I don't know we have not used it at all. It'S just a walk away to get to our bedroom and it doesn't feel useful, so I haven't determined what that video is going to be like what that room is going to become yet. I just know that I did not want it beige, so I figured I would start it by painting that room Black. My husband is kind of scared of painting The Walls Black he's like. Oh, it's gon na look like a dungeon, I'm like no. First of all, dungeons are brown and, second of all, like I want my house with black walls in every single room kind of like. I really just think that would be everything except make my it might make my rooms look smaller um, but he doesn't want that. So we compromised that I was just gon na. Do the upstairs solid black and make it the most Gothic thing I could and the downstairs would be more friendly and I'll try to keep a lot of my orange blow. Molds and Halloween decorations that are specifically have any color on them. They would be in the living room exclusively, so the rest of the house could be beautifully monotoned. You know kind of grayscale black white gray, a little bit of gold here and there it's a little bit of color, but all of my orange would be stuck in the living room and I think I'm happy with that. It'S all spread the house right now, but once Halloween passes, I'm gon na just migrate it off the living room. I think it's gon na make sense, because I'm not gon na put the Halloween stuff away. I'M not putting my pumpkins away all right, so this is in. I made a mess, as always with the Bleach. I cannot seem to use bleach without making it a mess all over myself and my floor. This is in. I don't know how I'm Gon na Leave. It and I'm gon na just kind of watch it. It says up to 45 or 50 minutes, I'm not willing to do that, I'm hoping for. Like 10 15.. I just want the yellow neutralizing it to look a little bit more okay, it's 20 minutes, I'm gon na rinse it out because it's kind of burning my ear. This is the message the people who shower with conditioner normally do you feel like you're on the brink of death, because uh, I feel like I was gon na slip inside and break an angle in there, because the conditioner makes everything so slippery. I know there you could get those like little mats and everything I just feel like. That'S where bacteria hides under there wide is conditioner, but you feel like I'm going to break a limb in there all right, it's still very yellow. I feel like it wasn't blue enough. However, if I did a toner right now, my scalp hurts, and I kind of feel like that bleach burned my ear, so I'm not willing to do that today. What I'm going to do, though, is I'm going to take a little bit of this L'Oreal like gloss toning conditioner, usually even for a couple minutes and a little bit of this milkshake light gray, I'm going to run this through these ends really quickly. Just for like a very short amount of time, obviously, especially since this is purple um - I just want to see - if maybe I can get a little bit of the yellow out and also this will help condition my hair as well, which is not going to hurt Even though conditioner in the shower is a super scary experience for me, like I used to use conditioner all the time, I don't know why. Maybe it's because I had no handle in my old shower, but without one it is a terrifying experience. So I'm just going to run this through. These are things you can leave in I'm not gon na, though, because why would I avoiding the roots? I don't really need the roots. I just want this to be a little less yellow see if this would tone out. This is actually like, besides the fact that it's darker, because it's wet that's, not a bad shade, really that wasn't my hair, a total of two minutes purple. It turned my hair purple. So that's fun! For me, I'm going to re-shampoo the part that is purple and try to get it to not be purple anything I use with a littlest bit of purple in it suctions into my hair. So that's fun. Maybe I should just leave it. I don't know if my hair was gray, it'd, be more fun, but not to have purple pieces and the rest isn't alright. So I kind of blow dry, my hair, it's still pretty damp and stuff, but I figured since my scalp is done. You know it's just kind of sore from all the treatments we did and I don't really know if I can do anything else to it: conditioner wise that doesn't turn it just straight up purple. Every time I'm gon na trim it um I'm going to trim the dead ends while it's wet. I know it's gon na get a little shorter when it's dry, but I figure people usually get haircuts when their hair is what anyways. So that sounds. Okay to me. I just think it'll make the ends, look a little bit healthier because the ends are always going to be deceased. I just worry about cutting too much off of this piece, even though it is the most damaged, because it's the prettiest piece, it's the most beautiful blonde piece and the black side is still pretty good. Actually so, let's just start trimming away, I was gon na like I would have. The idea was to dye on my hair black and put on a wig. I was going to cut my hair up like this, like this much off, so that when I was out, I would have long hair, but my hair would be healing when I'm at home, but since I'm gon na be wearing my real hair out with this. Let'S just take it off my shoulder a little bit so this much, let's just say: oh it's kind of hard to cut when it's wet. Let'S just say: oh lord, it's kind of hard to show the length, though drop it on the floor. This much was it like two three inches: I'm not good at math. Here'S the hard part you guys. I can always trim one side and it looks okay and I'll. Just like snip snap, the pieces that I missed here and there getting the other side of mat. It just like something struggle that I have and also yeah my heads look all square and blunt it's okay, I mean once the hair is dry, it's gon na separate a little differently anyways and then I can always eating like this. To make it look a little less blunt and everything, but really I just wanted to get some of the Dead ends off. It'S not really about style. Today, it's about function, even though this was supposed to be all Style drying, though it really doesn't. Look too bad. This, these very very ends, look the worst, obviously, but like this, it doesn't look that bad, we'll see what it looks like when it actually dries, because it should be a little bit lighter, that's pretty close. Well, I had some blonde on the side. Does anybody else? If you cut your own hair at home right, I could go to a hair place, but yeah does anybody else throw the Loose Hair in the toilet? Because I do - and I feel like it's so much easier than like sweeping it on your floor or trying to land it in a trash, can all the time you may think it's gross, but I think it's super practical life hack in case you hate, cleaning up, Hair and also a wireless vacuum helps because then you have to like fish the wire throughout the house just for like a little cleanup area. Obviously, a wired vacuum is better for like more everyday big messes, but a wireless vacuum is hella handy for, like oh, you just build a little bit of hair on the floor. The bangs are always so tricky because this part breaks a lot. There'S no way to make it look like perfect. I know you're not supposed to cut another bangle, but I just want to cut this very itty bitty little piece of my blonde okay. So this is my hair length at the moment. I'M gon na blow dry. It a little more now do my face. Let it kind of settle finish trimming off a couple of these little itty, bitty, stranglers, stragglers, stragglers and I'll show you the finished result in a minute hi guys. So this is the finished result. The very end of the ends of my hair is still a little wet, but it's dry enough, where I think I can show you what it looks like here's, the black side. She looks beautiful and healthy and lovely, and I love the contrast against my skin tone and then we have the blonde side. We have the pretty blonde leave a streak of purple kinda right here. You can kind of tell us like one little piece, that's purple and then here is the rest. Ah great, it's great! Really it's not um, but see some of it has some purple tones in it and the rest is very yellow. I mean I feel like it's like, I could live with it like do. I want to no, I kind of just want to dye my hair, this color of black and be done with it, but you know I I do feel like. I would probably miss my little piece of blonde, but if I dial this black, it's like, why did I do it in the first place, but also because I gave up okay strongly consider dying my hair black, because this looks so good um. But I I maybe again, I think I would miss this piece, but I don't know so here is what I have right now. We will see what I do with it in the future. It'S just toning. It is gon na be the next step for me, but then it's gon na pull very purple, and so my hair wants to catch on to those purple pieces and blue pieces. So yeah it's a work in progress. I guess we'll see what I do. I might just manically dye it all black. I I did have a suggestion to dial this Orange um, but you know I did have this front piece orange a month or two ago, and it was very hard to get out look at all these yellow tones down here and I I worried out of a Hard time removing it again, so I'm not gon na do that um, but yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching today's video. Let me know what you think down below. Okay, here's what I look like a blonde hair! Here'S what looks like a black hair, the black hair, is kind of making an impact, but I I I don't know so I I like the contrast, like the contrast of it all is nice. Oh here's, the back of my head. Does it look good? I hope it looks good because I can't tell you what it looks like, but thank you guys so much for watching. If you are interested in anything spooky or sweet, you can check out my small business, the opencrypt.com linked down below it's, where my little Memento Mori earrings are from today and uh yeah. Thank you guys. I appreciate it. I will see you later. Bye have a good one foreign

Miranda W.: It looks good! You've worked so hard on the blonde side, I'd hate to see you color it black so soon. But whatever you do please film it, I love following along on your hair journey!

jacqueline gonzalez: Girl ty for always taking us along on ur hair journey I love it!

MJ Barnes: Quick blue is super harsh! If you end up buying bleach again try Blonde Me by Schwartzcopf, it's got olaplex stuff in it and isn't quite as damaging. Also I think it's still too orange to tone. Honestly though I think you can pull off any color. If you want to go all black you will look great. I think you'll miss the platinum piece though, you love it so much. Also I think it's fine as is for now to give your scalp and stuff a break. You look nice with the split dye!

JohnTv: What used to help me was putting Vaseline on my ears to create a barrier. That prevented my ears and hairline getting burnt :)

Spoopy doge: I love the blonde on you! If you do dye it all black, fill it with red first, it will give the black more dimension and will last longer! (But honestly, keep the blonde! it looks great :D)

Alice Gunston: So the reason why purple takes to your hair is due to how porous it now is due to the bleach. Bleach takes the pigment out your hair whereas red/black/brown you're putting colour into your hair (toner is fairly similar in that respect). Purple toner/shampoo you are recommended to use a few days/weeks after bleaching as it can stick to your hair due to the hair being porous

Crystal Kay Rickard: Your hair looks great!!! I love the black and blonde on you!! !!! I get how hard it is to get those yellow tones out, and you honestly got so much out so far!! The front looks super awesome!!

Sofe: I think you should do a silver/grey dye or a Toner with a ligh developer so the toner will lift the yellow tones out. There are many options but dont dye it completely black yet, you can fix it!☺

Jess Ashley: I feel the same about the conditioner in the shower lol Your hair always looks good! Dye it whatever makes u happy!!

Emma Hewitt: I think this has turned out really well, especially since you're going from black box dye! I agree with what the others say I think you'll miss the blonde so much if you go full head black. Also you're a lot closer to your target than you were at the beginning. It maybe just needs another attempt once your scalp and hair have a had breather? Whereas going black will just undo all your hardwork. BUT whatever you decide it'll end up looking fab, it always does

wyatt DERP: Yaaaassss I cannot believe you got that lift out of it! So Impressive. Love your hair vids alwaaaaays!

Jolene Denman: The top of our stairs is where we put bookcases. A couple half cases and some decorative pieces for above them always looks nice while keeping most of the floor clear.

Inspired Beauty By Devan: I would do the blonde side another color! I think it would look sweet, like any vibrant color ❤

Dar Tribble: Black hair on you is absolutely gorgeous!! You literally look like Snow White... just stunning!!

Kara Robinson: You have inspired me to do something completely different from my norm!!!!

talia naccarato: I’m honestly shocked that for how much you love doing you’re own hair you don’t do research on how to make it turn out amazing! You could of gotten that platinum if you only sectioned the hair and used foils.

Fran FF: Ion Charcoal lightner w a 20 and a booster is so good. It lifted me so much. I was like an uneven color for so long. It lifted me to a 10. Then I love upkeep w Soapbox.

Alexandria T: Okay I used to put all my hair in the toilet but now that I own a home I’m terrified of my septic tank messing up. I can’t imagine that expense, so now I’m like a toilet warrior and I try not to flush anything but tp

Chaos_magick_: Dying it all black now would be too sad! You need foil, paper thin sections and bleach needs to be on thick & start from the bottom and work your way up. I have just done my red flash white again and it takes some time but foil makes it so much easier, make sure you fold it over rather than scrunch it Honestly it is fixable, don’t give up yet! All that said if you do decide to dye it all black, you will need to use a red first to fill the cuticle it will make your black last longer and it wont look translucent or feel like the colour is falling out after five minutes I look forward to seeing what you decide to do xx

Chardonnay Lacey Alexis: Please don’t go all black You look amazing

Kristina: U are like me, I color mine a lot lol! I think it would look cute if you would leave that blonde part that's in the front, blonde. Then the rest of the blonde orange color make that purple. It would look really cool with one side black, and then the other side purple ,with blonde in the front Purple Rain in arctic fox is the prettiest purple. That would look so dope!

MaryAnn Haber: Do black & orange! It would look so good

Kat Peters: Maybe you could do a bleach bath so it’s less harsh to get it the rest of the way there? I feel like you got it really light! It’s not far off from that front piece imo just needs another process. I think if you went all black you’d end up taking it out again eventually. I would just try to perfect the rest of your blonde (which I think is totally doable).

Denise Urlich: You did a great job! I like it

SpookyMack13: You haven’t had actual purple in a long time. A black and purple split dye would look so good on you.

Lisa bartelli: As usual- I love watching your hair videos.

Fern Brisot: One possibility... If you have a couple of bookcases, put them in the corner opposite the stairway, place an arm chair between them, a lil table to one side and some large plants on the floor near the window making a library nook.

Syrena Milani: I love the eye look so much , green / black is my jam ... ✨

Savannah Ruiz: You need to make sure the toner is the same level as your hair also you can just use a hair dye and mix conditioner and leave that on your hair for a little bit

Leigh Ann Gossett: I use the top of my stair area for extra storage. I bought a pretty decorative cabinet to store stuff and decorate the top with more beautiful spooky stuff with art hanging above it on the wall.

shadowmatrx: It's not too off from the from piece, maybe 1 lvl. That's not to bad considering black is one of the most difficult dyes to remove

name unknown: If you have a plug in in the area your trying to redo, maybe get a cool gothic styled lamp and set it there. I don't know what it looks like so not sure if that'd look good but it's an idea.

Cindy Sherrick: You look pretty I think it doesn't matter what color you do even you have the yellow tones in there looks good

Rhiannon Moonchild: Blonde is a process Bridgette! It looks good! Just give it time and it will end up blonde like the front after sessions over time! ⚘

dani t: It it was me , id turn that entryway into a little reading nook , nice comfy chair small table and a little bookshelf with some of my favorite books. It would be so cozy ♡

Julie Bridges: You are a pretty girl, but your hair is picking up that purple because of the damage. The dry hair just sucks up that purple/blue. You might want to let it rest as much as you can, but you are gorgeous no matter what. ❤

shadowmatrx: My hair does that with reds lol. I feel for your struggle.

LC: I would go all black. It’s easier to maintain and gives your hair a rest.

Starr Anderson: I don't think I could cut my own hair if I decided to be bald that would be fun I could get creative cause I was cutting it anyways but I don't have the patience to do that with my hair. But I enjoy watching your hair journey!! For that upstairs area maybe set it up for another filming location that could be cool!

Lady AKAsmr: Ooooo I think half black, and half slate grey would be such a vibe. Your gorgeous either way

Christine Leger: I cut and do everything myself every time I’ve been to a hairdresser they mess up my hair

Cat Hurley: You could make that area upstairs into a cute little gothic reading nook :)

Marly-Paige Petersen: I always do my own hair. Diy hair stylist. Bleach/colour/cut. throwing hair cut ends in toilet. Hell yeah

Hannah M: Do a mini library/ seating area!

emmz: I think you should try a shorter Bob cut, it would look cute and it would get rid of the orangee that's left over on the blonde side

Earthwisdom: I like the blonde you can always bleach it again. I think normally it's done is steps anyway. Wait a week and do the same thing again.

Kimbee Lo: Girl just get a toner! It won’t be as platinum as the front but with blonde If it is not even you need to tone with the darker shade so I’d say like a level 8 with a ash base! Even if it’s dark it will fade out!

Kristy Russell: I have zero advice regarding hair I'm just here for the journey. Looks like you have some excellent advice in the comment section already.

Kelly Koval: I love watching you but how come you just don’t get someone to professionally help you go the blonde you want ?

Melody Searcy: Maybe dye it all black except for the blond piece you love!!

Small Town Fam Adventures & More: I used to cut my hair at home in my early 20's. I'm 35 yrs old drop out of cosmetology school lol. I will sometimes cut my 5 yr old daughters bangs if need be and busy alot no time to go to the hair salon.

Jennifer Stepps unfilteredjenny: Table with a lamp and some photo frames or maybe a wax warmer. Something to illuminate a little or a lot. That’s what I did. Maybe a mirror above the table. That’s my 2cents.

BarbaraTheNailPusher: How about a kitty cat area in that upstairs area???? OOOOO Bridgette that eye look brought out your eye color so BOMB!!!

Sierra Nichole: Do all black but keep that one silver platinum piece!!!

Grace Leathers: It looks nice! Maybe just keep trying to tone it slowly

Lisa bartelli: Purple shampoo leaves a slight color in my bleached platinum hair!

Rita Kay: I would just dye it all black and be done with it

VeilOf Pain: It could be a filming area . Could put up a false wall partition and could be your own area I know you had area in cat bedroom . But could be a nice area and once finished after work it’s closed off you know what I mean ?

moon love: Does the hair clog your toilet ?

Brittany Vaughn: Hair is the least of the toilets concerns

shadowmatrx: I'm a fan of the vacuum

Miss Vadner: Our two story house we have a cat tree in the middle of the hallway when you just get upstairs we put stuff for the cats on the walls and they own the hallway

Ellie Gustafson: ❤️❤️

Tyler’s makeup corner: You could put some plant friends with a bookshelf with an end table and chair? In the up stairs

Melissa Morelli: Please try a hairdresser next! Please!

Rashea Smith: Put a large body mirror in that area maybe

Better With The Irish: I made a little reading nook Omg you’re going to clog the toilet with that hair down in the pipes

Memes1996: PINK please half black half pink

Velvet Celieste: I have 100 year old two story house and I put a book case in the end of the hallway at the top of the stairs

kelly-kitty: Hiiii beautiful how are u?

Tracy Cline: T 18 girl
