I know it's gon na be good. Hey loves! Welcome to my channel. My name is Kayla and if you're new here go ahead and hit that subscribe button for more videos to come today, I'm sharing with you guys an updated video on my hair, color um. I actually did get it touched up now. If you've been working with me for a good minute, then you guys know the first time I had my hair colored um in full color was like back in January and I originally had dark roots at the time um. I did kind of go in stages because my initial thought was, I didn't think I was gon na really get my curls back or anything and sure enough. My Curls did, you know, still stay intact, which was good but um. It did take me a few stages to get this um blonde color. So my hair is not blonde completely over. As you can see under here, it's giving very much chocolate. It is pretty much blonde on the top layer and when I did decide to do four roots um, I realized that it was cute. Don'T get me wrong, I loved how it looked with four roots, but personally for me, I felt like a little bit too much maintenance, because my hair grows out pretty fast and it always starts to show like around my edges, um the crowd of my head, especially The crown of my head, because that's the part that grows out the fastest, so I was just like. Oh my gosh. If I keep getting like full Roots color from root to tip, then I'm gon na have to keep getting my hair dyed like practically every other month, and I was like you know - I don't want to keep doing that, it's a little bit too much for me. I wanted to kind of keep it spread out between two and three months. You know in between the color touching up, so I decided to go back to dark roots, which kind of gives like that Balayage type of look - and I love it. It'S very very much cute on me and I have highlights and low lights, so I love my stylist because she really does help me. Keep the health of my hair, mind you. This is like two week old hair. My hair is pretty much frizzy now because it's been raining and everything and I try not to touch it up too much, because you guys know I like to still do like wash and goes and keep my curls intact. So, just to show you guys up close, the roots are dark brown and I have some highlight lowlights going on. Let me show you guys the back the curls have dropped like I said this is two week old hair. I just wanted to come on and like update y'all on exactly what I asked for so because it was my birthday I decided to get it touched up. So I did a little bit lighter highlights because last time it was almost like in the strawberry blonde type of range, but now it's like blonde blonde. I love it. I think it looks really cute on my skin tone um when it comes to getting my hair cut. This is what everyone always asks me. You know how do I still maintain that fro mushroom look when it comes to my wash and goes, and the key is to ask for long layers now. I know you kind of can't tell with my hair curled right now, but the main thing you want to ask for, if you are still someone who likes to wear like wash and goes all the time you want to ask for face framing layers. Let me kind of like insert some pictures on the side, so you guys can like show your stylist what I'm talking about, but long layers. For me, I told her to kind of keep the crown area a little bit shorter because that's the part that grows out the fastest for me and it tends to weigh down my curls. Whenever I have my wash and goes and the face framing layers, you can kind of also ask for curtain bangs curtain bangs, give you that nice volume in the front y'all know I love big hair. So just having my bangs, you know kind of cut at my chin level, the shorter you go, the um shorter, your bangs will be when it curls up and honestly, you don't want to um. Go too too short. If you guys been following me for a good minute, I remember when I cut my hair myself and did like the whole wolf thing, and I cut like right at my nose. I bought it when I cried, because I kind of almost gave myself a mullet because you just have to know how your hair is going to curl back up and honestly. If you cut right here, it's going to curl up so short, especially if you're in like the 3C 4A range. It'S going to be very short. So just keep that in mind. So I will honestly say start like right at your chin watch it see if you like that length for your bangs when it's curly, if you don't, you can also you know, go a little bit shorter but I always just say it's safe to keep it a Little bit longer just to see and be on the safe side, because once you cut your hair, that's it like you, don't have to put the weight tin goes back but yeah. That'S the update! You guys. I always ask to maintain long layers. If your hair is not layered, I don't really know how you're going to achieve that big voluminous fro. Look when you have your wash and goes. That is always the key for me and it's just nothing like a really really good haircut and plus when it comes to you know having your hair straight, I feel like it kind of gives you body mind you. My hair is old, so it's it's not giving body that much right now, but yeah like I absolutely love it. I think it's really really pretty and I can't wait to show you guys my wash and go now. I did touch my hair up like twice since I did get it done so, hopefully my curls bounce back y'all know I feel a little finicky whenever I put a little bit too much necessity on my hair, but um all the little treatments I've been doing. I feel like it just keeps My Curls chef's kiss all the time, so hopefully they will bounce back. Of course you guys know. I will also film it so stay tuned for that, but yeah. I will list the colors that my hair stylist listed or told me in the description box down below. I need to ask her like that: the actual um hair color brand. She told me like the colors, but not the brand, so once I get that I'll put that description box down below. But let me just show you guys another up close the highlights in the light, but yeah I'm obsessed with this color. It'S really really pretty and stay tuned, because I will continue to film, more hair, tutorials, more videos and I'll talk to you guys in my next video bye.
