If you, if you want to see how I revamped this old lace, front wig and stay tuned first, I'm going to be using Taraji P Henson's, Make It Rain, conditioner and honey fresh shampoo. This wig is a few months old and, as you can see, she is Tangled. The lace is crusty um, it's a bunch of knots in the back. I did customize this customize this wig and we're going to bring her back to life because no like look girl. What no right so the first thing I'm going to do is go in with some hot water and I'm running it all through the wig, because I want this product. That'S on this wig to be removed. Okay and hot water is the best solution. I also like to use hot water to loosen up the lace glue, because that can be a hassle to get off um and the best way to do that is to just soften it up with hot water. So I'm just making sure that I get all through the wig through the curls. I want every piece of this wig saturated because we have a lot of detangling to do and I'm just going to hit the back area too. Please pay attention to the nape area. Okay, that area does get tangled a lot with curly hair, so I'm just hitting it again with that hot water and making sure that we touch every spot, because I'm gon na bring her back to life. So right now I'm taking a rat tail comb and I'm using this to comb the hairline. I basically want to comb out all the lace glue pieces. Anything that's not supposed to be. There is getting combed out. We want a fresh lace and a fresh hairline when we do install this wig, so I do like to use a rat tail comb for that, and the lace on this wig is really really good. So I didn't have to do too much and I'm not going to pluck it much either. I'M just going to take that comb and keep coming out the old lady screw foreign, and also you don't want to do this too hard, because you don't want to create bald spots. You don't want to rip the lace, so please be as gentle as possible when you're doing this and right here, I'm just showing y'all how clean we got the lace yes going in with that, Make It Rain conditioner and I'm starting with conditioner first, because I want To do a treatment on this wig, so I'm applying a generous amount, and I'm just scrubbing that in you want to coat every single strand, because we are doing a conditioning treatment and that's going to help with detangling later on I'll just go in and I get Every crease and crevice shout out to Taraji P Henson, because this product line is really really good. It smells amazing by the way, um and I like to take my fingers and do a finger comb before I go ahead with the actual rat silicone. That'S in the sink um and I'll just do this for a little bit just enough to get the big knots out and after we get the big knots we go in with the rice going that way and again you're going to want to be gentle, because you Do not want to rip the lace, especially if it's HD it will definitely rip so be as gentle as possible and we're just going to comb out all the Kinks with the red tail coat. I mean with the wide tooth comb, and this is how she should look nice and saturated juicy. Curls. Yes, ma'am, yes, ma'am! That'S exactly what we want for this wig restoration. Next, I will be going in with the make it rain. Shampoo, I'm sorry the hello, fresh shampoo and I'm just going to be working that in I do the shampoo second and I just scrub scrub scrub coating every single strand, because I want to remove everything. That'S possibly could be on this wig and right now, I'm taking the shampoo and I'm just washing that right out. I also did the same steps with the conditioner. I made sure I covered every Strand and I'm rinsing this out again. This is lukewarm water and the last step that I do with the conditioner is I go in with cold water, so you do a hot cold and a hot, and you take your microfiber Rag and you just dry it out after we've dried her out. This is the result: um. There is a lot of brassiness a lot of over bleach sections, so I'm going to show y'all how I take care of that. So first I go in with the kids Temptation, my favorite in jet black and I also use an edge brush and I'm going to be applying this to the roots of the way so that we can get rid of that brassiness and the oranginess. It'S just like a quick little touch-up tip um. I do this often whenever I over bleach a unit for my clients I'll go in with some black hair dye, and this is a Super Quick Fix. You don't have to be a professional to do it um, and you want to make sure that you take Clips or something to get the hair out of the way before you start this process. So I just use some of those metal clips and get everything out of the way, and I just take um. I actually poured too much on this, but you're not gon na need this much okay and I just take that um Edge brush and I go right along the roof. You don't want to go too too heavy with it, because you don't want to bleach The Roots back. I mean you don't want to color the roots back black, so you want to keep a little bit of the root still bleach and then the remaining portion you just want to cover with the black hair dye, it's so hard to try to just make up your Mind poisonous spread to myself. I went in with my favorite oil or my favorite hair gloss, which is the silicone mix and I'm just spreading that all along the hair, and I make sure that I pay attention to the ends, because this is curly hair and it does get dry. Super super easy next, I'm going to take some of this leave-in conditioner and I'm applying it, and this is what she should look like afterwards, nice and curly and fresh, and this you guys is the end result she is hydrated. She is laid. I did a little middle part with the side swoop, baby hairs, half up half down. I am loving the results and if you want to revamp your wig, then this is what you do. Thank you all for watching my video. It'S your girl, Judy Moody and I look forward to seeing you all soon. Please, like comment share and subscribe.
