Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to be dyeing. This 613 bob wig a really pretty pink color using the watercolor method. So i want to say that this container is a twilly 20 gallon container. But if not i'll leave it on the screen - and i just poured some boiling water inside the container - and i'm also just adding some regular faucet water inside and the color that i'm going to be using today is cotton. Candy and i did use two bottles of this hair color and as far as the boiling water y'all, i'm not sure if you necessarily have to use boiling water. But i just did it because it helps the dye to dissolve a lot quicker. And i'm just taking this little brush, um y'all know the hair dyeing brush, i'm just taking this to stir the dye in and make sure i stir this up really good so that there's no clumps or anything like that left in and i just take a little Bit of water inside of the bottle to get the excess dye out, and i just pour that right into the container. So once i do that, i'm just going to take the wig to kind of test the color a little bit. I'M just doing a little little piece just to make sure that this is the color i wanted, and it was the exact color that i wanted. I didn't want this color to be too bright, and i also didn't want it to be like too dull either, and i think that this turned out so freaking pretty right here. I'M just submerging the water and making sure that every piece of the wig every piece of hair is coated and soaked inside of the hair dye. And i actually let this sit for about five minutes and five minutes was actually good. But i wanted to make sure that it really got inside the roots and everything of the wig. So i left it on for an additional additional two minutes and that was actually perfect and it turned out so cute y'all. This was so easy and so simple and i just washed and conditioned it with my suave conditioner and shampoo. So the first thing i am going to be doing is a ball cap method. Normally i would say that a bobcat method is not really necessary, but anytime. I do color, i feel like it's very much necessary because you don't really want to put like a pink wig on top of black hair, so um, you definitely want to cover your black hair up. So i'm definitely going to be doing that today with my color wig. I do have a more detailed video on my channel on how i do my ball cap with this. So if y'all haven't already definitely go check that out, i'm just spraying this olive oil super hot fixing, spray along my hairline and then blow drying and cutting the excess cap off and then to really melt the ball cap into my skin. I'M taking this olive oil, wig grip gel and like the um, the tail of the metal tail comb and i'm just laying the edges of the ball cap down just to make it more seamless and blend like really melt into my skin. Then i'm taking my maybelline fit me foundation in the shade, coconut and i'm just applying this on the ball cap so that it matches my skin tone. I don't know why, but like doing putting the makeup on the ball. Cap is like my favorite part of the weekend style like just seeing how it just looks so like like really like a ball cap is so crazy to me, but it's so cool, and then i take a little bit of alcohol on a cotton pad and wiping This across my skin to get rid of the excess makeup, and i'm also going to be taking a little bit of that makeup inside of this wig, because this lace is not a hd lace. This is a transparent lace, so this lace doesn't really melt into your skin as good as the hd lace. Will you really have to work and like melt it into your skin tone so to apply my wig today, i'm going to be using my olive oil, wig group gel and a popsicle stick and i'm just going to be applying this along my hairline and also put A little bit on the ball cap as well, so i get a lot of questions on how long this gel lasts for me so give or take this wig. This gel lasts me about four days and i also combine it with the hair spray. But the reason why i use gels - and i don't use glues, is because i change my wig so often y'all. I literally put two wigs on a week, so it will be so harmful to my hairline. If i put a glue on or take a glued wig off every other day like it would be so harmful. So that's why i use gel. But if you want like a more long-lasting effect, i definitely recommend using like a glue, because this is honestly - probably you probably gon na get the most out of these like four days before having to reapply it, and it's also not waterproof as well, which, honestly that's A good thing for me, because it's so easy to remove all i do is spray a little bit of water along the hairline and literally y'all. It slips right off and then i'm just going to pull out some of my baby hairs. Because, yes, just because i'm doing a color wig don't mean i'm not doing the baby hairs, i still did some baby hairs and then i took some of that olive oil superficial spray and sprayed that along the hairline and put this elastic band on which i didn't Get that part for some reason, because my camera cut off, but here i'm just taking a little bit of my. She is bomb wax stick and i went a little bit overboard with the waxy today, because y'all know blonde hair like if you have a hella flyaway. So i wanted to make sure i got the flyaways down and i'm just hot combing this down with my andes, hot comb, and i also added a little bit of mousse to keep the flyaways down as well. And this was like perfect and it i had no flyaways at all with this wig so about this wrong wig y'all. So the front is why we look really good right here, i'm just taking some rubber bands on the ponytails to indicate where i want to cut and on this side right here. I want it to be a little bit longer because i like the size to be longer with my bobs when i do a side part and then i just take my scissors and i cut it straight across y'all. So i could not see what i was doing in a bag like this is not a vibe wig tutorial. I'M not a professional by all means i'll. Definitely give you out how to cut a bob wig tutorial one day eventually, but today just wasn't the day. I'M definitely gon na have to do it on my mannequin head next time, because i could not see what i was doing in the back and the back just was so uneven, but the front turned out really cute next time. I'M just gon na have to do it on my mannequin head instead, so i can really get like a really straight across so to do my baby hairs, i'm just going to take this eyebrow razor and cut kind of at a slanted angle. I didn't really want to do too much with my baby hairs today, because you can definitely go overboard with the baby hairs with colored hair, so i want it to be really minimal and just really simple. So to do them today, i did decide to use the olive oil wig group gel instead of mousse. Normally i do use mousse to do my baby hairs, but i really wanted these baby hairs to stay in place and the gel just helps to do that better than the mousse. So to do the sideburns, i'm just taking this pencil flat iron that i got from amazon and curling the baby hairs upward and taking some of the olive oil super fixing spray and spraying this on this edge comb and just brushing the baby hairs. I love how they curl, like that. I love how the sideburns curl like that that was so cute, but then to blend this lace into my skin. Better, i'm taking some of the same makeup that i used on my bald cap maybelline, fit me in the shade, coconut and this little fluffy brush, and i'm just applying this on the lace and then i also take this concealer. This is la girl, pro concealer in the shade fun and i'm using this slanted angle brush to get my part really straight and sleek, because even though this is curly hair, i still wanted my part to be blessing and that's exactly what i did pretty. Okay guys. So this is the end of the video and i really hope you guys enjoy now before i say anything else. Let me just say the front: this wig is giving like it's giving everything the back like the bag is just not giving tomorrow. I'M gon na have to get somebody to shape the back up because the bag just is not straight enough, because i can't really see what i'm doing the next time. I do a vibe wig, i'm definitely gon na either have to put it on my mannequin head or get somebody to trim it with like a trimmer um and not do it myself, because this was so hard. But besides that y'all it turned out so freaking cute y'all know pink is my favorite color. So this is just so pretty and i had so much fun doing this. It actually turned out a lot cuter than i was expecting. So if you guys are interested in purchasing this wig, this is a 613 wig by tinashe, and i want to say that this is 12 inches next time, i'm also going to get like a a shorter length so that i don't have to cut it, because this Is like a perfect length, so maybe like a 8 or a 10 inch would be like better. I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did don't forget to like comment and subscribe and tell me your post notifications, so you can be notified anytime.
