Watch Me Slay: 613 Wig To Icy Blue Using Watercolor Method Ft. Alipearl Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to show you guys how i got this blue wig, so i'm starting off with toning, my 613 hair from ally pearl everything will be linked down below, so i'm toning it with the purple shampoo. First. Just to get rid of the yellowness in the hair, so it could be on a more like platinum blonde base just to remove the yellow so that when i color the hair with the dye that i have it'll show its true color better on. Like you know, more of a platinum, colorless um slate instead of just like yellow you know, so i'm just swish it around for about five minutes, and it should come out looking something like that. You can tell a lot of the yellowness and the wig is gone and then i'm going to go in with my platinum, a door die and then a little bit of my blue dye. I forgot the exact name but um. I have i'll have everything linked down below so be sure to check the description box. So i just do uh, you know just little eye measurements and then i dip it in and you see i'm holding it by a braid. So i ended up doing a patch um in the front. I wanted the um front patch to be platinum, blonde only and the rest of the hair blue. So you know i was really experimenting with color this whole video, so nothing is exact. I don't know any exact measurements, i'm just you know trying to you know tap into my creative side and just see what i can achieve. I didn't really have a desired look. I was going for. I just wanted to you know experiment. So this is just me experimenting and i'm just going through the wig making sure all the tracks are colored, so it won't be any blonde patches in the hair. So you want to make sure that you're really looking in between the hair and trying to get all of it colored. So because you don't want it, you don't want to have like a blue wig and then like the wind blows, and you just see a blonde patch in the middle, so yeah we're gon na. Do that um and then just take it out. When you know it's to your desired, look and yeah, and then for the blonde patch in the front um i just put in the platinum, a door die just a little bit of it. I got some new water and just put in the platinum dye. The platinum dye is going to look blue or purplish, but you know it's not it's just it's just the way it works to get the platinum color, so i'm gon na mix it. So all the dye does uh dissolves in it and then we'll unbraid, the patch and i'm just going to dip in the patch and the platinum, color and then it'll just be more of a silver color. It'Ll have like a hint of blue to it. Um but it'll still be, you know more like of a pastel color um, but yeah again, i was just experimenting. This whole video um. I just wanted to, you know, see what i could create, and this is what i created i'm on my phone the whole time, because i'm doing a tick tock for this dyeing process as well. So yeah, i don't mind that. But after that, as you get your desired look you're going to wash it out, let it air dry, the knife, i ended up doing some wand curls, and this is what the wig turned out looking like. So it's a five by five closure and i did a side part. So since it's a closure - and i did the side part - you want to scoot it over to the side more and not in the middle of your head and i'm just going to melt it down with some glacier spray. So i did lose footage of the end. Result like with me all glammed up and stuff, and that's on my part. So i'm sorry, but i can't get the footage back. She'S been stressful week, you know with coving and everything my whole house got covered child, so i'm really stressed, and it was just an accident. I accidentally deleted some footage that i can't get back. Unfortunately, but i did get to show you guys how the wig looked installed on me, i just didn't get an end result with me all glammed up, so i'm just gon na um install the lace, cut the lace and everything it was hd lace. I believe everything will be linked down below again, but the install process was fairly easy, um and yeah. That'S all for this video. I just did some wand curls on my mannequin head. This is how the color turned out. I think it turned out pretty pretty cute. You see the little platinum silver patch in the front and yeah. I think the color turned out pretty cute. I was just experimenting again with the closure. You can't really do behind your ears because, as you see, my hair is showing on the sideburns my black hair um, but yeah.
