Transforming A Human Hair Wig Using Got2B Metallics Hair Dye

Hi everyone, james vancil, here bringing you yet another video. Oh my god, you guys today we're doing some hair. That'S right! I have dug out from my storage because i'm packing right now, an old human hair wig, because i finally got some pr. Yes, yes, yes, yes, i'd like to thank, got to be glue. Yes, they sent me some pr. Finally, i've only been using you guys forever on this channel. I'M glad i've finally been recognized. Now they sent a huge pr box full of stuff and goodies. So i'll be digging in throughout, because i have lots of human hair wigs i need to do stuff with, but i pulled out these two today they're actually hair dyes got to be glue, hair dye, um, selfie, ready with metallics and that's the colors. I pulled out these ones, so i'm gon na try and do something very adventurous today. Yes, i saw sasha bank's hair at wrestlemania and i thought i have to have it. So that's we're going to try and get as close to today, i'm using mercury, blue, mercury and cosmic teal and that's what they say. They look like on the boxes, but the hair i'm using today is platinum blonde. So it might be a little lighter, we'll see, we'll see if this works out for me. Okay, all right now put this down here. I'M gon na pull out my wig. Now we are using this model today, this unit, since the human hair wig is a unit there. We are look at her. She has seen better days. This is from amazon a long time ago that i think i sewn tracks into and flat ironed to death. This is the best i could get her to before. After, like a wash and a flat iron she's seen better days, okay, she's old, all right, but we're gon na try and give our new leaves on life. Now i went over to sally's and bought a bunch of crap, so hopefully this will work out, i'm kind of playing like neighborhood, hair stylist right now, like the lady that does hair out of her kitchen. That kind of vibe is what we're getting today. So, let's just start, let's just dig in all right be right back all right! I am back now i saw girls. Do these on human hair wig videos on youtube. They did this. I take some vaseline, it's a really really large tin. I just try to get travel size, but i don't know who the crusty is in my area that keeps buying out all the travel size vaseline at walgreens, but i hate them. I'M just doing it on like the bottom and the top of the lace, because i don't want it to get covered up with the color just trying to be. You know, precautious and not have a blue lace. Now the vaseline trick only works with human hair dye and that's it. You can't really do it on synthetic wigs like it's going to die at the lace, no matter what, because you're using synthetic rib dye and if you don't believe me, try it for yourself. I told you all right: i am back now after you're done with this use time to wash the hair, the vaseline will come out with dawn dish, stuff. Okay, so just keep that in mind. That'S how you get it out of the lace now. Hopefully i did this right because i haven't really done this before so it's kind of like a first time experiment for me like science class. Yes, so i'm gon na go with the blue first now it's box dye and if memory serves box eye is pretty by the books like there's no way you can really screw it up. You just got ta mix two and two together and hope for the best. Okay, let's see what the hell is this i bet there's instructions, usually most things come with instructions. Colored, hair blah blah blah preparation here we go before applying color cover your clothing with an old towel or cape and put on gloves. I guess that doesn't apply to us and you may be looking at this and thinking james you've been getting a lot of use out of that dress, you're goddamn right. I have everything's packed up. Okay, goodness, i even thought i could like trick you guys by turning the dress around like this. Is the dress backwards right now? I don't know if it fooled y'all, i'm not, but that's what's going on right now, so yeah we have fun over here. How do i put this together, then? Oh lotion, not potion not developer potion of the developer lotion pierce the color cream tube with the reverse of the cap and carefully squeeze entire contents into developer lotion bottle. Okay! Well, here, applicator bottle developer lotion. That'S why what the hell is this thing then after treatment? Oh, is it wait? Is this? Is this shampoo conditioner? What'S the third part shake and twist ribcage, pierce, color, creams human bottle replace shake vigorously? I can do that. This could be fun all right. This is fine. Let'S instructions say if coloring you experience if dirt coloring you experience any stinging, burning or rash rinse immediately. I don't think she's going to have that problem, but we'll see i want to do a little bit of like you know. The um, the um, the um, what the hell was, i thinking of i forgot. Oh yeah, it's going to be green at the ends and blue all around. So that's what i want to do all right now. This is going to be the most bootleg sasha banks, recreation, you've ever seen, because i'm honestly just trying out these hair dyes, i've never dyed hair. Before really like. I touched up my mom's roots here and there, but that's a whole different kind of thing. I'M actually trying to do like legitimate hair, styling stuff right now. Okay, like i'm a hair stylist, i bought this little pink thing because it was cute. So let's just do that. Oh, oh dear, this is gon na be a disaster i can already tell, but i've already invested so much into this. So let's just go right on in because i'll, let you know right now. I never bothered with beauty school because i knew i'd be no good. At it, if i had to like sit there and be like you know, listening to a client and what they actually want and not just do whatever i wanted. Oh it never would have worked out. Oh, my god, even so bad, i'm basically going off of what i've seen in passing on youtube videos and also what i've seen when i worked at the hair salon. Bear in mind i was a receptionist, so i'm pretty much a hair stylist, and if this comes out as a fail, we can have a good, laugh and y'all can educate me on the comment section tell me all about how my form is terrible. On the other side and we're gon na do a fun color on the tips it's gon na be a completely new, independent, free thinking. Hairstyle. Yes, oh my god, you guys, i can't understand why anyone goes to school. To do this, like. I understand why i didn't, because this is a lot of work not to mention attach a mouth to the end of this no ma'am. No, it would never happen. I would kill people, i would have killed people if i had to be a hair stylist and do colorings. Oh, my god, i'm going to color this other side, real, quick and then hopefully i can come back and it's all colored and beautiful and we can start styling it because that's the part i care about - and i hope this part you hear the most about at This point: i really hope it is because if you want to see me color more hair, well, it's going to be a journey. Everything is dyed now, like i said i did to tell in the wig i do like one side, blue one side, green and the bottoms. I went over with like this metallic silver color that they had gave me this one. It'S called metallic silver. How about that? I did it all the way at the ends like i wan na try to ombre it to make it look like she's freshly dipped out of the ocean like a mermaid, coming to steal your soul, siren at the rocks. Yes, now let me show you what she looks like yep again. This is my first time dying, a human hair wig and i feel like i did pretty decent as far as it goes, or i only do like watercolor, which is really really simple. Just like dip. The wig in it and hope for the best, but this one i actually had to like vaseline the lace and holy crap. You guys that actually worked like there is a small, tiniest little speck of blue, where it like caught on a baby here, and i didn't notice it in time, but the rest of it actually washed out fairly cleanly. Like look at that, that is a nice clean lace like i feel like i did pretty good and the ombre is fun. It'S very much like i don't know, ernie was saying it's giving like a nicki minaj kind of vibe, which i'm not mad at now, as i'm looking at this upon further inspection, the metallic green is actually looking kind of blue, like it looks like blue jeans, which I'M not mad at. I think it's probably because i rinsed it out with the blue dye, which i don't think was you know the intended purpose of the die, but still anyways. We do things on our own beat here in this channel, but i'm not mining, because it makes it look like blue jeans, which actually just ties. The wig, together with the whole blue, every kind of shade of blue we're trying to go for you. 50 shades of blue now we're going to start styling this it's a human hair wig, so i don't have to do like a roller set or anything i could, but it require like having hot rollers, and i have what i have right now. Okay, like we are at the very, very brink of me, packing all my stuff away, as you can probably tell from me wearing this outfit many many times, i'm going to start by taking a little bit of the hair and we're going to start trying to curl It yes now, this hair should hold a curl. I feel like i've curled it before on the channel, like my very first human hair, styling video. I think it actually was this wig. This is just a raggedy old thing. I got from amazon and believe it or not. She is still kicking plenty of holes in the lace, but she's still going. Oh thank god. You curl all right, i'm really excited you know. I actually enjoyed this more than i thought i would now. The hair dyeing process was a bit tedious, but i think it's mostly because it just stuck hair dye always stinks no matter who has it if i can figure out a way to do this without having to breathe it in? That would be ideal. Okay, let's see, but if that were the case, i guess that's, why nobody's hair stylist unless that's like their passion? Oh, i am the greatest hairstylist in the world. Now, i'm thinking about getting more and more into human hair dying when i get to vegas like it's. My next venture, you know, because i'm gon na have a solid steel sink, so i can actually do it. I don't have that here. It'S a porcelain sink, so you can't do anything fun like that here, she's, looking cute okay, she got a little beach wave happening, which is appropriate for this kind of hair. Yes put this down before i slap myself in the face with a hot curling iron that would hurt now, if any of you have some good instructions on how to use a curling iron, let me know because honey i am not the best with it. I actually use this curling iron this afternoon, so i had to do this wedding trial for my sister and as i'm going through it i'm sitting here, like god, i wish i had hot rollers, i'm the only person in the world. That'S just like. I offer a hot roller before i do a curling iron, it's just you can't get that same vintage. Look with a curling iron. At least i can't comment down below. You know, and you see the kids cry their eyes out and they lost like um, the one that beat beyonce's group um girls, time they're talking about how it was the same episode as justin timberlake when he was on it and he bawled like a baby when He got eliminated he's a little baby, but yeah just thinking about, like alia, destiny's child, christina aguilera, britney spears like leanne rhymes, even like they won some but lost, and they didn't actually go on to win the whole competition, but they actually went on to be superstars And like they always kept that notion, it's like nobody that was on that show than one ever did anything apparently, and i think i'm right about that. Hair, okay, like i've, had too many experiences my own head, where i bleached my hair out and ruined it and lost hair and had to regrow it. This actually turned out pretty cute like i am not mad at myself, and we will see where this hair goes. All right, i am back, this is her all teased out and it's actually kind of looking itself like oh nina hagen. Yes, let's take this now our brush styling. Yes, yes, yes, okay! I love human hair. For that reason, because girl look at that already, it's just like so smooth and so easy, whereas it's a synthetic hair. Sometimes you really fight it, then i remember the upkeep and the time the kids wash it and restyle it and reset it and straighten just get a synthetic wig. If you want to have like a big permanent hairstyle, because they ain't going last like i'll. Have this pretty it'll stay this way for a few hours and then nature will take its toll on it and it'll. Look, you know like a frizz monster. That'S why that was so funny because, like it's such a demand and drag now for people to have human hair, wigs and i'm like, why, like, unless you're wearing it bone straight and you're like willing to like take that hour or so to like, do the upkeep For it, you honestly can get like it's not really great for styling hair, because the style is not going to last, especially you're, going to be whipping it around and stuff for a drag performance. I just i don't see the repeal of it, but it does look really really pretty like when it is done very very well. I don't know i'm conflicted. Obviously you can see. I know how i feel about it when i have it. I love it like a few years ago i was all team human hair, and then i came back to synthetic it's like i go back and forth you guys i'd, be i'd, be switching up on y'all. This is the moment where the mannequin head does like a nicki, minaj lyric, but she's packed up so can't say anything now, pick a side pick a side. Oh it's so beautiful.
