Installling My First Wig Ft. Unice Hair| Closure Wig| Erica Robinson

For me also hit that notification bell, if you want to see all my future uploads and be notified. So let's get into this, so i wanted to do a hair video. I wanted to film this hair install. So i'm going to go ahead and let you guys know that um i wanted to keep the original footage, so you guys can see exactly what i did um i will say i was not pleased with my results and you will see that in the video the Results you see right now. I literally redid everything like i had to start over from the ball cap method, so i promise to film the next time i wear this hair um. This is just going to be a beginner first time install fill, maybe type video. So i wanted to go ahead and pull that out, but i'm not going to ramble and i'm not going to hold out any much longer. Let'S get into the video all right, you guys, so i'm gon na go ahead and just let y'all know. I have footage of me showing you guys what the wig looked like straight out. The pack and everything that came with that. I got a pair of lashes and a pair of like these nail wrap tabs and i also got a wig cap and i got a um hair scarf. I yeah, i don't know, but i deleted everything. So that's that so i'm using the edge control from cream of nature, the black one just to kind of camouflage the color in my hair. It lasted for a little while, but not really so i'm gon na be taking the stocking cap. Y'All gon na be doing the ball cap method. If you do not know what the bald cap method is um, i can't really explain it like you. Just put the cap on your hair and, like you, glue not necessarily glue, you could spray down or use like a gel glue whatever and um map out. Your hairline is what i'm trying to say and then you just cut um according to your hairline but um. I will say i think i messed up from the start. Like i said this is my first time and um. My cap method was not secure, like i thought it was um. So the second time i did my hair, i made sure, secure by using the got to be glue, styling gel, as well as the um olive oil like um, holding spray here, i'm just using the got to be. Oh god got to be glue, um spray freezing spray and it just wasn't enough to hold the cap down on my head, because when i went to take the wig off um saturday or friday night, i can't remember it just came out so easily. So i knew then like okay, it's not secure, so you want to make sure your cap is secure. Whatever you got to do you guys do that, but yeah hmm. So so now i'm just taking my foundation and i'm going to be applying it to the cap and basically trying to get everything all blended and camouflaged to kind of look like the ball cap um. I don't know what i got going on at this point like i was just doing it since it was like my first time and you can see that my cap was not secure because it started to roll, and you can see my widow's peep, i'm going to Get into like the whole widow's p low, hairline thing in a second but here's the wig, you guys, i'm just showing you like the lace. This is the diamond lace. It did have the um fake scalp, so i really did not have to even use the cap or use a ball cap method that dinged in my head later on um. What else i wanted to say so, i'm applying the um foundation on the lace. Just so i can have a better blend um, but this hair is uh. Jerry curl hair is 150 density. It is 20 inches long. It is the perfect length you guys for me because i'm so super short um for to be 150 density. I feel like it's very very thick for me. I'M just not used to it honestly, but um. It was some really really good. Hair, like this is a nice wig, the curls pop instantly. I just did some water and like a leave-in, and i mean it was really really nice like. I would definitely order from this company again, like the quality of the hair, was just amazing to me. So yeah, i just sprayed the lace where i applied the foundation with freezing spray and i'm just blow drying, so it won't be too much of transfer, but it shouldn't, because this cover girl is super mad um and it does not transfer so yeah. Oh also, i want to just let you guys know this is a lace part wig y'all. When i ordered this week um, i thought i was getting like a four by four. I don't know girl. This is my first time. Okay, i read stuff, but i didn't read i it was like. It said, four by zero point: seven five! I did not know what that meant like okay, but this is a lace part wig. So the only part part that is lacey is the middle part. This middle part um, so i'm just taking that free spray and i'm just spraying the lace directly on top, instead of like doing it underneath um, when i went back the second time around, of course, i use the olive oil spray. I don't think i use the gel. No, i just use the olive oil spray, but yeah continue to watch so once everything is sprayed down, i'm going to be taking this elastic band. I got my elastic band from walmart in the um sewing craft section. So if you're looking for elastic band definitely go to your local walmart and they should have um those there, they have them like different size. They have them very, very long like very, very short, and they also have different um width size. So yeah. I just let this sit on my head for 10 minutes um and then i just took everything down and it was looking pretty good. I was like okay, like maybe i can do this. You know, maybe i'm not, that bad um, i don't know things took a turn. I don't know just just watch. I don't even know exactly what happened. Okay, so i i did not show you guys like when i cut the lace off. I don't even know where that clip went, but i cut the lace off and i put the band back on my head for another 10 minutes kind of just to let that lay flat and um. What i'm doing now is trying to like um thin out. I was trying to create baby hairs, but it really wasn't working. I was trying to thin it out and i think this is like literally where i started to have the most trouble. So i went ahead and did the baby hairs. I cut them and i'm just trying to get it to form you guys and it's just it was not working. So i decided to like cut closer to the middle of the part, to kind of do like a swoop and i'm using that mousse there uh it just didn't work like i don't know like my first this first round it just did not really work like and Then the issue that i was having the most was the fact that i did have a low hairline. I do have a widow's pink, so applying a wig um to a hairline like mine, is different, very different from what i see on youtube and when i went to search for videos of people applying their frontals or whatever closures on uh widow, pete um heads or Whatever it wasn't, many and it's just like a whole another world that i have to learn um, my mom was like just shave it off like girl. No i'm not. Why would i shave my widow's peeps for five freaking days like i was just so aggravated, but um i mean it ended up working out, but now i know better, so i can do better. So, okay, you guys so i'm using this wax stick um. I got from my local beauty supply store, i cannot remember the name of it, but everything will be down below you guys. As always, so i'm just taking my hot comb yeah. I have not used a hot comb in so long. I was kind of scared, but i'm just taking that just to flatten down this hair, so it can look as natural as possible. So i mean looking back okay, it's not that bad um! It'S really not that bad, but yeah um! I was just i mean it was just new for me and my mom was trying to help, but i was just like literally having a whole breakdown because i'm like i'm, ruining my birthday here but yeah once all that was done, i'm just taking some water and I'M just spraying the hair to make the natural curls just pop. I can't remember if i put anything on it, but i will say i was using the african pride leave-in conditioner that i love so much. I actually mixed that with some hot water in a spray bottle y'all and i've used that on my hair, the entire time i wore my wig and it had my wig so pretty and just the curls were just popping so well. So i do like that. But look at this curl pattern like look how it is like he's so pretty his hair is super pretty. I would definitely order from them again. Lord. I don't have to just order the right thing. Then it sounds like this one's so so bad, but it was a challenge. So so hmm all right, you guys. So this is the finished. Look i'm gon na say for now, because i am not happy with my results. It is not the wig at all. Your knees has um a great wig line. This hair is literally super. Pretty it's super soft y'all. The shading was very minimum, like everything about this hair is like perfect uh. It'S just. This is my first install and i'm just not satisfied. So i'm just gon na keep playing with it, especially like with this area here like girl, i just it ain't for me right now, but, like i said, i'm gon na keep playing with it and um y'all don't see, but y'all look at this hair. Looking so pretty i'm gon na stand, so you guys can see it all. So this is the hair. I don't know if it's that i'm not used to long long hair, i'm not used to wigs it could be all of that, but the hair is so pretty. It is 20 inches um it was wet earlier, but you know it dries pretty fast. I'M just going to show you guys how we feel about this, but yeah. This is like my first install so and i'm just such a perfectionist. You guys, i can't stand it sometimes, but i'm gon na work. What are we gon na work on this um?
