Very Natural Wig Install: Kinky Curly Edges?! | Omgherhair

Favorite, hey guys, welcome back to my channel so today I'm going to be doing a another wig install, but today is a little different. I'M trying a wig that I have actually never tried before something very different for me, so I'm not gon na talk too much. I just got ta show you, because I can show you better than I can tell you. Oh my gosh, you guys, I am so excited about today's wig install because I have a completely different wig. For me. I'Ve never tried anything like this. I'Ve been seeing this kind of wig circulating around Twitter Instagram and I've been seeing the girlies rocket and I'm like hmm, I am intrigued, so we're about to get into it. So of course, I start by cleaning off my hairline. I always use um like a skin protectant. Just it will change your life, use it okay. So this is the wig. This wig is from OMG her hair and, as you can see, the edges are kinky. This is kinky straight, like I've been wearing, but the edges are now kinky and I was a little scared at first I'm like okay, let me be a little too kinky. You know what I'm saying, but but I was just so excited at the same time. So I was very focused: I'm like we're gon na get this right girl, so I'm installing my wig, like I normally do. I didn't have to do anything different um for those of you guys who may be new. I do not do the Bobcat method and I do not use glue, so I simply clean my hairline with the um skin protectant and then I spray a layer of even spray underneath apply the elastic band and let it set cut the lace I may spray it Again, that's it beats glue any day, and also I like to change my hair. A lot so glue is just not very practical for me again. I get this question a lot on. Why I don't do this and why? I don't do that and because I don't want to - and I got ta do what works for me and I hope you would do what works for you. Glue works for you use glue if a ball cap method works. For you do that, you know what I'm saying: we're all individuals here but anyways. So this is the wig um. I was gon na do a side part, but it just wasn't giving for me. I just was like um, so I cut the lace and it's it's literally give me natural, like whoa, like the hairline, I'm just like this is unreal. This hairline is crazy. So personally um I decided to hot comb my edges as well as using the mini flat iron, because if I was wearing my natural hair, I would do that with my edges. Anyways, I don't leave my edges kinky, like that. I don't necessarily swoop them that much. I just don't have that kind of hairline, but I do straighten my edges, but because it is textured it looks so much more natural, the actual hairline itself mimicked a realistic hairline. It wasn't too straight across it. Wasn'T too straight it wasn't too thin. It looked really really good and I did do very little plucking to this um. I didn't bleach sinata or anything prior to this, because I just didn't want to you know, mess anything up, but I did do a little bit of plucking, nothing, crazy, um and I did see a difference and also we love The Parting space. You guys see the 13x6 anytime, you guys see 13x6 grab it. It'S gon na lay better. It'S gon na look a lot more natural, which I think is why this install was so popping. Okay, foreign foreign thing about me: I'm gon na get my T3 and I'm gon na get to curl in so that's what I'm doing um. I actually just wanted like a blowout kind of look, but I've had a lot of kinky straight hair. You guys, and this one has curled the best out of a lot of them. You guys are going to even see how bouncy the curls are and how fluffy it is and how it looked it looked so good like I was like okay like do you see that curl, it just looks so good, so just you know sit back enjoy enjoy The the curling okay I enjoy watching people curl because I didn't know how to curl for a long time and watching people help me a lot so enjoy girls and boys, foreign foreign foreign, like look at those curls they're, so juicy. So, of course, I have to comb through them and honestly, I added like very little layers. I didn't do too much because I really liked how the hair um look at the hairline, how the hair was laying, and I just feel like in our natural hair. We don't really do crazy layers like that. We try to keep the length, so I just left it alone, but it looks so good. I added some powder and then you guys are going to see me using um, the hot comb and the flat iron, not necessarily because I wanted to straighten the edges. I just wanted my hairline to have a sense of direction. So you know it is a frontal. It is lace, it is a wig. You have to manipulate it and make it look like not yours, but make it look like it's for you. You know what I'm saying um. Another thing I did do was use a little edge control. I don't know where that clip went, but I literally just used some edge control and pushed my hair back. It opposed to swooping baby hairs because I didn't want to do baby hairs. I wanted to leave this as natural as possible foreign foreign foreign guys, so I feel like it's only right that I do like an outro, seeing that this is like a new wig for me. You know the edges was something different for me. 10 out of 10 recommend you guys know I already love the kinky Yaki textures, but with these edges, oh my gosh, they give. I didn't even have to do anything. I did a little bit of edge control because that's what I would do if I was wearing like you know, quick weave or you know my hair out. I would do a little bit, but nothing too much and I just feel like it looks so good. It looks so natural, so unclockable and I actually loved this hair and how it's curling in the body of it.
