Deep Curly Highlighted Wig Install & Style | Dola Hair

What'S good y'all welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, alexis, hair, um, and today i am doing this install on this highlighted curly wig from dola hair um, the hair came pre highlighted and i got some super cute goodies with the wig as well. This lace um, i was a little nervous about it in the beginning, but it came all together, as you guys can see. I did this cute little braid style um. I cannot remember the actual length of the hair right now but um. This is just what she looks like before. I install her um, i plugged her just a little bit and bleached your knots and that's pretty much it. I'M not really going to do too much manipulation to the hair, because i want y'all to see like what it's really given before. I actually even do anything to it to it um, but i'm going to show you guys what i got in the box with the wig. Some people are interested in that i'm going to show you guys that and then we're going to hop right into the install. So um they did give me this um. I love you uh. They did give me this little bear um. This is my first time actually receiving something like that. So that's pretty interesting. Um we got a double-sided edge brush a brown wig cap um. We got a dola hair makeup bag, so this will actually come in handy because i put some brushes in there. We got an elastic band, a razor to cut baby hairs in lace, which is pretty cool because i actually have never got that with a wig before um and then a dola hair, um edge melting scarf, and i love these. I love them with companies. Send me these so um, let's just hop right into the install a little close-up on the hairline and i kind of did like minimal plucking. I didn't do too much so um. It did come um, i'm not sure if it was pre-plugged, but it looked like it was a little bit pre-plugged, but i just plugged to my personal liking, so um we're going to hover it into the install i'm just going to show you guys. The inside of the wig, so we have our two combs on the side as usual, the one comb in the middle won't come in the back and our adjustable straps in the back. If you guys have any recommendations for lace, glue or adhesives to use. To put my wig down feel free to um recommend them, because i do want to try some new ones, because i've been using the same one. Basically, i've been using the same ebin uh, wonder laced on and i'm gon na try something different. So the actual hairline for this wig is like a tad bit short, but i think we can make it work. I'M gon na try something a little bit different. I'M just going to split the lace into a couple sections because um sometimes i just have a bunching in a lace which is cause when the lace is like really thin, and this lace is pretty thin, so um to try and avoid that i'm gon na do It in different pieces, so we are completely down. I'M gon na tie the edge melting scarf on there for a little bit. Just because i want to make sure those sideburns are down. It'S literally gon na be for a couple minutes and then i'm gon na take it off. I'M gon na tie it like super tight. Super duper tight in hopes that everything is going to be laying in place the way we needed to today. I'M doing a middle part with a little twist on the side um. It all goes well, so i'm gon na let this sit for a little bit and then i'm gon na come back once we all good. The girl is back and my head is hurting. So i need to take this off um. It feels pretty locked in so we are just going to cut the lace. I lifted up the lace a little bit on the edges on the accident, i'm going to take a little teeny, teeny weeny weeny bit onto a beauty, blender and just dab it. I used my juvia's place um. I am magic, velvety matte foundation in the color acura. So i'm gon na put a little bit more so, and this is what we're looking like so now for the style that i want to do um, i kind of just wanted to do like the twist going back. I feel like that's really simple and i'm gon na try something different on this side just to see. If that's what i really want to do - and i feel like i like that one better than the twist so i'm gon na do the same thing to the other side kind of like that and just making sure everything else is flat in the back. And if you have to go back and flatten stuff up, you can alright. So now i'm going to take the hair split in half and i'm just going to spray it a little bit with water just so we could define it a little bit. So my favorite combo to use for my curly hair usually is some type of leave-in conditioner. So this is the african pride shea miracle, leave-in conditioner, um and then some type of mousse. So today i'm going to use the tginn honey whip, hydrated mousse. So i put the leave-in in first and i like to comb that through i like to brush it through and then follow up with the mousse and do the same thing now. I do want to say when you, i guess, the first time you wear this hair, you are going to get um some shedding because i have gotten a good amount of shedding um, but i mean that's kind of what comes with colored hair. You guys can see the curls are defined here and pretty much just do the same thing on both sides. Let it dry and you're good to go all right guys, so i am back and the hair is like semi-dry, but it's still very defined um. I just want to show you guys how long it comes down on me overall, i feel like dola. Hair definitely did their thing with this thing. With this wig i was a little nervous about the lace um. The hair itself is very, very pretty. I just wish that i would have got um a thicker density, because the hair is so long um, but other than that i really have no complaints. I think the highlights are very, very cute and adds a little possessed um, and these aren't like the ordinary highlights that you get when you get a wig with highlights, because sometimes they're, just like literally just light brown. Instead of actually a highlighted type of highlight so um, i did my two braids um and then i just secured them in the back um. So hopefully you guys can actually see that um. I think this came out.
