Chile...My First Wash Day In 6 Weeks : Easy, 3 Step Routine! Plus Hair Loss Update!

Do y'all still even watch natural hair content? Hey Charlie, welcome! Welcome, oh yes, whatever so, so. Let me explain about six weeks ago I put on a wig right and uh yeah. I looked up in here for the monsters I washed my hair. For me. Now don't get me wrong! I'Ve been like doing stuff to my scalp applied my little DIY grow oil in a whole, nine and all that, but as far as water and shampoo. No, no so in this video we're gon na see just how bad things are. Uh we're gon na do a wash day situation at first. I was gon na review some products because for a vlog for those of y'all that actually watch my Vlog, like you know, shout out to you but uh. I had bought this for a vlog and I was just like you know: let's try it, but because it has been so long. Since I did my hair, I was like yeah we're waiting for the bus. I wouldn't know we're gon na get some Old Faithful. So in this video, I'm gon na show you how I'm going to revive my hair after six weeks of nothing um we're going to get into my hair growth update. I'M gon na show you the little ball pants y'all know my baby had took my edges from it, but you know I got them back you. You can't even see it right now because of the wigs. So anyway, we're gon na get into watch day and install my hair and all that so to all the natural hair braids. Is that follow me specifically for hair content? First of all, I'm sorry my bad. Let me go ahead and remove this Shenanigans. Y'All know I usually like to sit right here, because I don't be wanting to move the camera and stuff upstairs, but because it's been so long, I don't think doing the kitchen thing gon na work, honey. I I definitely think we're gon na have to go into the shower. I might do a voiceover. I might not chat we're gon na figure something out, but, most importantly, I got to get my head together all right. It is quite some time later because I had to wait on my son to go to sleep. I didn't do my nails took my wig off. It is time to get in the wash day which will not be happening in the shower honey. I don't have time for that. So let me first of all show y'all before I go with my hair. This is this is what we're battling against hairstyles. This is uh. Some got to be spray. This is foundation from trying to tint some lace. This is Flakes and some of every child - this is just nasty, so let's start cleaning it up. Okay, so let's get into step one. This is actually optional. This is the briogeo scalp Revival. I actually really really like this and I feel like because my hair has been covered for quite some time. My scalp could use this extra TLC. If you don't have something like this, that it's perfectly okay, this is just something extra okay, so I'm gon na. Let this sit and tingle on my scalp real good, but this next step absolutely no option whatsoever. You got to do it and that is using a clarifying shampoo again. I have not washed my hair in six weeks hell, which means it needs some intensive cleaning. So I am using the Azure Beauty blue, clarifying I'm trying to mess up the title: The Oswald Beauty, blue tansy, clarifying shampoo and the reason I'm doing. That is because it is really really good at cleansing and clarifying my hair, but it does not make it feel. Like straw, so get you a real good, clarifier and yeah because listen the way I'm battling with all this mess. A good moisturizing, shampoo, ain't gon na do nothing. So let me go ahead and do this shampoo, I'm gon na, do two rounds of this uh two rounds of just this. The three of y'all just need it one time, but I'm gon na wash two times with this clarifier and we're gon na get into the next step child. I could not believe I neglected my hair this chop, not my scalp is brown and we are back y'all. That was intense. Oh my goodness, I haven't seen anything like this since I dealt with postpartum shedding, but speaking of which um y'all know. I got my edges back yeah, but y'all know I had a patch come out in the top of my head. It um yeah. As you can see, it's filled in it's filled in um. It actually has some length to it so yeah, my hair is completely back. I am, I am so happy what I've been doing. Originally. I was using HH cosmetics and I documented that on my channel, but when it ran out, I said I really wanted to give my product a try again for those that don't know um. It has always been my dream to have my own uh natural hair care company for a while, I kind of lost my passion for hair care, and I just I didn't um want to do it anymore, but lately that little itch has been coming back. So I pulled back out my own DIY growth, oil yeah. So anyway, that is what I've been using. I just been doing my DIY, so what is not DIY is y'all see I got the paper right on in. There is my conditioner and the one I'm using today is the banana cream deep treatment from Eco slay. I sometimes forget that I have it in my home just because it has to be in a refrigerator, and all of my hair products are in one room job. If you're getting this in there but seriously anytime, my hair is going through something. If I feel like, I need a little extra moisture. If I just feel like my hair needs, some see y'all say it goes. Like always gets me right. She is a black owned company, amazing products, very natural ingredients like seriously she deserve her flowers chat, especially for how she's going to bring this her mess back to life yeah. It was a real struggle City, so this right here, I'm gon na. Let this sit in my hair under a cap for about two now we we gon na go to full 30 because yeah and we'll get into the next see my hair again speaking of hair, shade hair shed hair yeah. All of that, it's about to be real, crucial doing the detangling step all right, so I have detangled my hair after I rinsed out the Deep treatment I left it on for 30 minutes and I use heat for about 10 of them. Then I was like no ma'am, no sir, no half um, but after I detangle. This is how much, let's run that back. This is how much hair I lost for six weeks and honestly. This is really not bad at all, like I'm not mad at this. So, let's get into the final step, which is actually styling my hair, I am not using a leave-in, I don't know I just I feel like. I don't really need it for this product um and I'm using the do B girl this this this custard right here. It function like a gel, I really really like it, but what I find is, if I over apply it it'll flake up and if I use the wrong leave-in it'll flake up. So I just was like you know what we just gon na not do that today. So the way I'm going to apply it this, although I'm not applying a lemon directly to my hair, this bottle has water and melanin Hair Care, leaving in it shake it up together. Real good, keep it moisturized. So I like to apply this on wet hair just because it functions a lot better. That way for me, so I'm going to Spritz it down, make a smaller section and then I'm just going to take take about this much of the custard not a whole lot, but I'm just taking some of that rub together in my hands and put it on This section - and I just do the raking method just to keep it simple if it's any areas where I feel like I need to I shingle, but honestly, I'm just trying to get this over what I'm saying and voila magic we're just gon na. Let that sit and do what it does naturally, but this is what my hair is looking like and considering. I just got a haircut. I ain't mad at this at all and that's pretty much my process for the whole thing, so I'm gon na just show you all one more time. Some water and leave-in mixed together in this bottle make sure it's really wet. I'M gon na take about this much custard and if I need some more, I'm gon na get it. But right now I don't feel like I do and then I'm gon na just go to this section. Yeah, I'm gon na do some more and do the raking method just to break this through my hair and that's the thing about motherhood. The way I used to take the time really baby, my hair make sure every single curl was shingled. I don't have to talk about it: okay, okay, so my hair is set. This is what my curls are looking like um. What I'm gon na do from here is honestly just let my hair sit for about 15 minutes to let my natural curl pattern really lock in and then I'm gon na just diffuse it. The rest of the way I'm gon na show y'all me diffuse knickers. I mean like it's blow dryer, so let me do that. I'M gon na, let it sit, I'm gon na diffuse and I'm gon na show y'all the final results in five four three two and voila magic, my wash and go is now complete. Well, almost it's like 75 dry, but it was dry though so I was just like honey. We done with it plus I got to get to the gym. While I still can't y'all I love working out so anyway. Let me turn around and let y'all see the back, especially for this watch until the last one whole day. I hope it was cute because I don't even check it. So if it's not don't clock me, but over uh, it took me about an hour and a half to do my hair. The bulk of the time was detangling because again, I'm neglecting my hair, so I'm trying to find some balance to where it's just like. I still get my gym life and get to do all the things that I love to do, while still not abandoning my hair. So you know I'm about out of balance, but not today, honey. I'M gon na go sweat. This thing right on out, but overall my hair feels super moisturized super soft, but still has the firmness to My Curls to where I know it would last if I wasn't gon na, pour down a bucket of sweat at the gym um, but the thing that I'm Really really happy about is the fact that everything that I use, with the exception of ryogio, was from a black woman on company JoJo used to be black on, but they sold to Welles. So you know shout out to her for getting her coin, but everything else was a black woman on company and they are all Stellar products. So uh thanks y'all for chilling with me today.
