Hey loves welcome to my channel. My name is winnie jean, if you're new here and if you're returning, then hey girl, how you doing in today's video, i'm showing you guys how i created this custom, color full lace, wig, i'm starting off with this kinky curly, full lace, wig - and this is what We'Re going to use as the base for our custom wig as you can see, there's an adjustable, strap, there's combs throughout the cap and there's some stretchy lace in the middle, which really helps to give you a custom fit the only comb i ended up. Keeping was the comb in the back near the adjustable straps. Everything else will be able to be applied like glueless or with glue, and i'm just tacking it down to my wig head and before we install the locks, i'm going ahead and parting, the hair starting at the nape of the head, and i'm trying to part around That stretchy lace, just because it looks a bit different than the regular lace of the wig, if that makes sense, and it also helps to keep everything nice and organized so now i have the hair broken into larger sections, and i can really start to work on The wig so the first things. First, i'm parting out the leave out for wigs like this, i like to leave out about a inch to three quarters of an inch around the perimeter, just in case they need to customize the wig trim, any lace off. I don't want that lace to be inside of a lock, so i leave quite a bit of hair out around the sides and it also kind of creates a really pretty bohemian look which i like is kind of my signature for my full lace, wigs, but feel Free to lock everything up, if you want to it's just a personal preference not to so since we want to kind of get this hair out the way i'm just braiding it up and we're going to go ahead and finish sectioning out the hair. So within this back section, i'm creating two rows and i'm adding in a small piece of marley here to the braids and leaving a section of the kinky curly hair out you'll, see exactly how i did it here, but i'm pretty much creating a bohemian braid that Isn'T really finished, it'll all make sense soon, but this is going to be the base for our locs, yes and i'm just using the same technique up the entire head. Once i get to the top, i like to kind of backcomb the root a little bit just to kind of simulate that lived in faux loc. Look because the texture on this wig is a little bit silky. It won't necessarily get that look on its own. So adding a little bit of texture to the roots really creates like a lived in messy a couple of weeks old, faux loc. Look that i really really like it's giving it more of a distressed. Vibe super duper cute and then to actually create the lot. I'M crocheting in a piece of pre-fluffed hair, i'm using the color silver but feel free to use whatever color you want. I figured a custom. Color would be a great way to show you guys this technique, because you can actually see a difference in the color of the hair and it can help show you exactly what i'm doing with each strand. So i'm crocheting in that pre-fluffed hair throughout the braid. I don't want it to be a really thick knot at the base, so i'm crocheting it through the braid wrapping the shorter section and then i'm taking that piece of the kinky curly hair that we left out and i'm using that to wrap the root blending it In with that pre-fluffed hair and then continuing down to wrap the lock and once i have the locks complete, i go back in with these small pieces of hair and just kind of strengthen any locks. Tighten up any places that i need to tighten up and just create a little bit more stability in the hair. It has a lot of structure when you add these small pieces, and this is what we have so far now. As you can see, the base of the hair was like a dark brown. Natural black color and the locks are a gray, so i'm going in and i'm plucking the edges that i left out just to give it a little bit more of a natural look and then i'm teasing the roots and adding a little bit of bleach to the Ends of the hair, i used some 30 volume developer and some powder bleach, so i bleached it to lift it to blonde, and then i applied a gray rinse to it so that it blended in with the back it's not as bright of a tone. But i didn't want to have so much light hair frame in the face, so i went for something a little bit darker to kind of blend in the two colors and i love the way it came out. As you can see, it looks really really natural and it's super full without looking heavy comment down below. If you guys want a more in-depth tutorial on this style, i can definitely create one with a little bit more detail. But i figured this since a lot of you guys are already comfortable doing your own hair you'll be able to hop right in comment down below and let me know if i lost you guys or if you would wear this wig who's bold enough to wear this Color, it can be styled in all of these different ways. You can wear it up. You can wear it to the side you can wear. However, you want, because it is a full lace, wig, so yeah. Thank you again to ash and mary hair for working with me. All of the details for this hair will be down below the description bar. Thank you guys so much for watching today's video, and i will see you guys in my next one bye, babes

STEFFAN SUCCESS SESSION: This is literally PERFECT for me while I start my own locs. Thank you for sharing! I have been trying to figure out how I was going to start my locs, while my hair is short, and be comfortable outside when I do leave the house. I’ve been working from home, so I have been feeling like my faux locs have been a waste, because most of the time I have them wrapped up in a scarf while I’m at home. PERFECT!!!! I’m excited!!!!

Sharon Harrison: Nice style, I ❤️ it. Please do an in depth tutorial. I got a loss along the way LOL. TY!

KK the only one ! Stephens: Love, love, LOVE!!! One question, how many locs are there? I always put too many and it looks cray-cray

Renus Hair: Nice video!!!

Kenna Treola: Nice!!

Lacreasha Anderson: Ok wait why didn’t I know I could have did my wig I want that whole thang right now give it to me lol I had to take mines out bc that COVID was kicking my ass n I was scratching my scalp a lot n I pulled some hair out ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️
