Hi guys welcome back so today we are experimenting and i'm trying something that i kind of just came up off the top of my head. Today'S wig i'm going to be testing out this method on. Is this tea part wig i'm going to get into all the details later on in the video, but i thought if i'm going to test this method, i might as well test it out on a tea party wig rather than a full lace, or anything like that. So, let's jump right into the video, i don't want to ramble too much and make sure you subscribe if you are not like the video and also be sure to drop a comment and tell me your thoughts on this method. So let's jump right in okay. So a little disclaimer before we begin this remember, i said this is an experiment, so i'm hoping that it works out for all of you the same way it works for me, if not just take precaution whenever you're doing things like this to your wig and make Sure to test it out before you try it out on one of your good wigs test it out on an old, wig, okay, um, so we're going to jump right into this. Everything will be linked below in the description box. Let'S jump right in! Let me talk about the details about this wig and then we'll get into the video. This wig is absolutely gorgeous. It is a teapart wig. It does not come with bleach knot, so this is the perfect wig to experiment the scalp paint method on, so we're going to jump right into that in a second. Let me show you guys a close-up of everything, so i'm gon na go ahead and plop this wig right on my head um with this type of wig. You do not need to glue it down. It is a glueless wig, as you can see, just laying it down. It looks pretty decent. So if you look really closely - and you can see that there are knots - you can see the wig cap underneath so i'm going to take this back off and we're going to fix that. Okay, so i'm only going to be doing the parting area, i'm not going to touch the hairline, so you will need some type of paint brushes. I just picked up the cheapest ones. I can find these are by crayola and we also will need some type of paint, so i'm using acrylic paint that matches my wig cap color. You want one that matches your scalp color. I found this one at target, but if i can find it online, i will link it below in the description box. So i'm going to take the flat brush shake up the paint and then we are going to begin using this. Now you want to make sure that um you pour out just enough to do the section that you need. You don't need a lot and you definitely don't want to dip your brush into the paint. No, we don't want to do that. So i'm using about this much and i'm going to begin applying that paint right at the inside of the cap in the parting. Now don't press too hard and don't take too much because you don't want it to go onto the hair. You want to take your time with this, and while this method do not take forever - and it's very quick - you definitely want to take your time now. This brand that i'm using the paint has absolutely no smell, it does dry pretty fast. I was real shocked on how it dried, however, the inside dry. I had to turn it over in order to dry the other side. Now i was actually happy that the other side did not dry because it was kind of clumpy in some areas. So with it not drying on that side, i was able to smooth and blend it over top of those knots on this side. So that's what i'm doing, i'm taking a smaller paintbrush, i'm just blending out that paints. The one thing i love about the paint method is that you can use the paint on the opposite side instead of underneath the wig and therefore you can actually get every knot by doing it. That way, i have no idea if it's going to wash off. So that's why i said for you to test it out on an old wig before you do this on a new wig. With this being paint, i don't see that it would remove. So you definitely want to make sure you use a color. That is your complexion. Okay, so we're not done yet we're going to put this back on and then adjust it and customize it some more. So, as you can see, it is covering all of those knots that paint definitely covered the knots, so i'm just going to flatten down the parting. So because this color for this acrylic paint is a bit light, i am going to go back over top with some concealer. That is a bit darker, because i want to make sure that it blends with the acrylic paint having the texture that it does. It allows the concealer or any foundation to sit over top. Usually when you use the concealer or use the foundation powders, you can still kind of see the knots it kind of falls into the lace, because the acrylic paint has created a base. It'S going to make everything you put on top of it sit, went on to remove that extra lace. Now you are going to see whether or not it melts onto that forehead area and, as you can see, it definitely does. When i put the lace down it blends so well, so now i'm just going to go ahead and position the lace wig so that it lays flat around the hairline. There are combs in the side. So if you would like to hook it so it won't move back and forth, you can do that. Okay, so the last step i'm going to do is clean up the parting area, make sure that it's not too wide and also use this mascara to get rid of any of the paint that may be touching the hair and speaking of hair. You want to make sure you are wearing a wig cap under your wig before applying this acrylic area to your hair. I'M not sure what the effects could be on it so, like i said, just make sure to protect your hair with the wig cap. That'S what i did so yeah. I will be sure to put all these products that i'm using down below in the description box, including this brush. This brush is really good at straightening hair. I absolutely love it so yeah. This is what the results look like. Okay, so i think this scalp painting method turned out pretty decent okay as far as how easy it was to do, it was really easy to do. It wasn't stressful. It wasn't nothing that you had to try to figure out um, the only stressful part, for it is probably trying to prevent it from getting onto the hair which it takes a while to dry. So you can easily clean up before you dry it. I would recommend. Definitely like i said, use a cool setting when drying it to make it dry fast. I really do like this. The color i chose um is called teddy bear snuggly teddy bear, and it's a satin finish. It'S basically just acrylic paint. I do find that this color could match, but it was a bit too light. So that's why i did go back in with the concealer and also the powder that you see me apply. But if you was to find your perfect shades, you wouldn't even need to do that, but i think it turned out pretty good for the most part. I love the way it blends right here at this forehead area. There is no separation. Now, like i told you guys a long time ago when it comes to the tea party, wigs a lot of people always ask me: well what do you do with the size if the wind blows leave your edges out so that when the wind blow it will Look very natural: if you try this method definitely drop me. A comment. Tell me how it worked out for you. If you see somebody else, try it definitely direct me to their video. I would love to see how it works out for them so yeah. I really like this wig. This color is absolutely gorgeous like. I didn't even think that i would like it it's a mixture between like a gray and a lilac like a grayish purple, really like it so yeah. I will be sure to put this wig down below in the description box. If you like discounts and everything i use in today's video, i will link everything from today's video down there. Thank you guys so much for watching subscribe. If you're new and i'll see you back in my next video, you

Realistic Lace Wigs: Girl stop playing with us! This is genius! Another level! Thank you

Ms E: I did this about 4 years ago on a lace front. I was an in between skintone, and it was hard to color match. I only put it underneath, and found although it hid the grids, it amplified the knots. It also became quite stiff, (but I may have used slightly too much.) Once on, I couldn't get it off for fear of damaging the knots of the hair. I never wore it and having sat in a drawer over the years, I see its become brittle and some flakes off when manipulated. I didn't like how it felt and never pursued it further, however, I think it may be perfect for T parts since it's just a small area to be covered.

April Powell: You definitely upped your creativity by doing this! Thanks again for another great video!

Char F: Love the color . Great results

Kimberly Kyles: Marie I love this unit you’re so Talented

Dee Bryant: Very ingenious Pretty Lady ❤

donna Reed: Looks good.. I wonder how fabric paint would work.

Daun Ledford- Corset Kitten: I did this with my foundation makeup. Mine is used to cover tattoos. So it worked well. Using the hot comb scares me. I am afraid that it will melt or burn the hair off.

Gail Hopkins: What is that hot brush u used to straighten the hair. I did look in description box. But Not sure whether it is call an iron.? I have been seeing this instrument & wonder what it is call. Thanks grace to all. gh

Jill Suttles: I am thinking that mixing wig glue and foundation makeup may produce the same effect as the paint...

modelchiic17: Brilliant !!!!!❤️

Jasmine W: Nice, that's different look gorgeous

fashun008: This is very cleaver. To add to that, why not taking ur foundation and have a paint store to color match it. I have also been thinking about mixing ur liquid foundation color and a knot sealer product and applying on lace.

Latreana Taylor: Amazing Sis!

Nikki Harrison: Genius

40ish Sophisticate: Does it conceal the knots?
