Trying On Wigs From Amazon

I don't want to take this off, i'm i'm done hey there, honeys, it's audra, welcome back to my channel before we get too deep into things. So today is the day that i try on all of the wigs that i purchased from amazon. I went on amazon and searched for retro, wigs, specifically um they're, not all retro, but i searched for retro wigs and chose some of the ones that had the most ratings and the highest star ratings. Um read through some of the reviews to get an idea. Looked at some of the pictures and and then made purchases, so i have them here: i'm gon na see what they look like and um yeah, it's just gon na be fun and i'll style them up a little bit and we'll go from there. So since i do have like you know, super short hair, i can only do so much with this and i love the retro style and typically i do a like vintage, modern, mashup right, so vintage pieces, true vintage pieces, vintage inspired pieces and then my hair, that's My style, but uh, you know i do like to sometimes have a a more like. I don't know. Traditional look perhaps, is that what i'm trying to say a more traditional look, so yeah wigs are the way to go. It'S where i can still keep my short hair just the way i like it and have alternative hairstyles to mess with. I have no idea how this is gon na go, i'm expecting them to be super plasticy feeling you know like if you go to halloween express or something buy a wig from there, i'm expecting that kind of quality. Um we'll see. Thank you for joining me on this journey. Let'S get started, okay, so off with the hat which i'm going to use in between, because i'm sure it's my hair is going to get super messed up here. What are we going to do? First, let's see okay, so i have this one here. This is the bopocoko um wig, it's a black bob. So let's see what it looks like all right, so i've taken it out of its um and it's packaging here, let's see, i'm actually very surprised. This is very soft. I was expecting it to feel very coarse and plasticky, and while it does still have actually no, you know like the hairs are so thin and they're not super thick that it just has a very soft quality. So i know that for nicer wigs, i don't know if you do it for, for these, you shake them out um, at least that's what i have seen done on youtube, i'm new to wigs y'all. It has a nice natural part on the top and the bangs. I like bangs, because i do notice that wigs that don't have bangs if they are um, you know a more mass made type of wig, it's very easy to tell because it has a natural line. The way that hair does not grow right on your forehead um. So the bangs cover that all right. Well, let's see just gon na put these pantyhose on my head. Oh yes, more gorgeous! Now that i look proper silly, let's get going, it is shedding shedding and i've just run my lipstick all at my face here. Okay, i've got to be honest, i'm impressed with this. I was not expecting it to lay this nice. I was not expecting it to be so soft. I was not expecting it to keep its shape um and i am 100 on board with this style. The wig cap was pre-tightened, so you can, you know, loosen and tighten it and it was tightened perfectly right out of the bag, so i didn't have to change it or adjust it, and it's not too tight um not too loose. It feels like it's going to stay on there, nice and snug. Oh, i i'm getting friendy fisher vibes. This is a keep. There is no way i'm sending this back. This is fantastic. I think my only complaint is that it's shedding. So you know, as i was pulling it out, um some hairs were coming out as well, and i have some hairs like on me right now and on my on my desk. So i don't know how long this will last, but i'll take good care of it and hopefully it'll last a little while and hey. I know where to get another one and it was pretty cheap. So this one had a four star ratings out of like 2 800, i think 2800 ratings on amazon and it was a 1669. and they're a bunch of different colors, including a white one, which i think i actually might get the white one too. If it's as nice as this one, then heck yeah, so let's go on to the next one. The first one was a success. Okay, so, by the way, if any of you fashion, wig wearers out, there have any recommendations or tips for me for how to style the wig, how to keep it comfortable, how to keep them nice and um. You know not tangled when you're storing them how to store them. I mean i'm all up for any advice that you have also, if you have any recommendations for where i should shop, to get them. That would be great too so this next one that we are going to try out is um from. Let'S see which one is this best done. This is the long fox red wig, it's curls, so in the reviews, a lot of people we're using this as a cosplay for merida. Oh, so i'm getting it out. Oh it's just like this mass! This i'm expecting it to like start crawling. Okay, here we go. I found the opening so here it is. This is oh, my god this is nuts, so it looks pretty and it's soft, it's very soft feeling um it doesn't have bangs. It does have that very. Like particular wig, look where all the hairs are coming up under they've been sewed up under here and are coming up over the front um. If anybody has any tips for how to hide that, because i don't know how i think that's what makes you know make, it makes a wig look very obvious so um. Obviously this was not an expensive wig, it was 22 and it had a four-star rating at about 700 or so ratings. So you know it's not gon na have the super easy um to hide part right there. So, let's see what it looks like: okay, no man, it is everywhere. Let me think i think this is. Let me see where it's where the ear tabs here. Okay, so it looks like it's a side part so go right there and the part will go right. There, oh the only problem then with that is that this wants to be right there. In my eyeball yeah this is funky. This is fun. This is a really fun wig, i mean. Obviously it doesn't look natural, oh there's a tag, but i don't know if there's a way that i would be able to make it look a little more natural with the part and the way that it's kind of like. First of all, my eyebrows are not the right color, so i would definitely have to uh. You know, dress those up. Maybe if i pull, if i pull this hair down, is that what you're supposed to do? So? It'S not so like curled, because that just wants to go right in my eyeball when it's shedding too, if you had a chance to change your feet, would you okay? I really really like this actually like, and this is the one i would probably wear out to a grocery store, because i mean it's, it's a wig, it's very obviously one um, but oh my gosh. How fun how fun for pictures! I think i'll keep it just because i don't have anything like this. It'S very extravagant um, it's not a hairstyle. That is anything like what i have um so and yeah. I oh. So if i kind of maybe pinned it back here, that's better than having that right there in my ah yep. So if i get a pen back, i'm gon na mess with these and take some pictures and see if i can get them to to look a little more natural. Okay. I look good in red, curly, hair too bad. My natural hair is the color mud, so that was this one: the best stone, long fox red wig. So i'm just going to put the hat on. I mean to cover that so this next one that i'm opening is from st fantasy and um. It was advertised as a mrs claus wig, but lots of people in the reviews were using it. Obviously, for um, you know different things: it had a four and a half star ratings out of 190 reviews and the pictures were really really cute and i believe that this was the most expensive one. This was the one that was 26, so here it is, and it is a lace front as well, so it has that more natural look right there with the part and it has bangs uh. That'S the tiny thing. Okay, i think that the i think that this is also going to look super wiggy, so let's find out wow. So this is how mrs claus styles herself. I want to see santa so yeah. This one is fun. I mean this one so far, the only one that really feels like a wig that i would wear out just oh. I want my hair to be different today, so i'm going to wear this wig and go and do things is the black bob, because it does to me that one does look like it would be more passable as actual hair um. Then. Obviously this super white, because even though i would love for my hair to be this color - that's a very difficult color to achieve, but again will be super fun for pictures and dress up, and you know i don't have a lot of wigs, i'm starting my collection. So i'm not going to be too super picky so that i can enjoy having the options. I think that between this one and the red one i mean the red one is, i mean pretty obviously a wig. I think you would be able to. You know at least get pictures where maybe it doesn't look like one this one i i don't think you'd be able to. I think that it's always gon na look, like you know, you're, obviously wearing thick hair. So this this one actually came with wig care instructions which i appreciate, because the other ones did not, and i need wig care instructions. I don't know how the heck to handle these things you can wash and dry this one and the curls are supposed to bounce right back into shape after it gets dried after you brush it through so um. That should stay in really good condition. I was wondering about that. I was wondering how the girls were gon na stay in there, all right so out of all the ones. I tried on this one's, probably the um, it's fun, but it's my least favorite of the three. So i have one more. Let'S give that a try, so this last one is uh by brana and a vibrant wig. It is a 50s rockabilly wig and it came with eyelashes. I can see them through the bag, so they came with these funky eyelashes. So i guess it was like a costume set, so i'm pulling it out so here we go shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, so it has that very, very short front. Bang, it's just as soft as that. First, one um, the first one and this one are definitely the softest. So, let's see if i can pull off the rockabilly style - oh yes, please now i have to grow my hair out to have this hair. This is what i want. Oh it's gon na take years, but in the meantime i can wear this wig. Oh my god. I love this so much. This is my favorite favorite favorite. I am so so stoked so this this wig only had 84 ratings on amazon. It had four star review. Um and it was only 14.90 which was the cheapest one of the wigs that i purchased i'm living for this wig. I am very excited to style these and use these, and i think me look. I know that black is the typical color for the rockabilly style. Um, but i would really like to find one that is white or super blonde and see how that looks, because that's probably what i would go with. I love this. This is my favorite favorite one followed by the bob um, then probably the red wig and lastly, the white one. So i would say you know what i'm actually thinking the white one is gon na go back, because i will never wear that. I might wear it for a picture or something and that's cool and fun, but it'll just take up space in my closet and i'll, never actually put it on to go out anywhere in. So i think that one's gon na go back and i'll try something different. So this has been my wig experience. I'M actually pleasantly surprised. I mean these wigs are not ones that i'll be able to style for myself. So you i can't style them. They probably won't last a really long time and they do shed you know so. The quality is not 110, but it's really nice and if you take care of them and don't just shove them in your closet, i'm sure that they'll last you know quite a while and then when they are ready to be replaced. Then you know it's not going to to empty your pockets. Well, honeys.
