Sunday Wig Party - October 9, 2022 - With Maggie Wells For Shirley'S Wig Shoppe

Well, look at me. I clearly should have got myself ready for this wig party tonight, but obviously I did not um. I probably spent four hours deep cleaning my bathroom today and that's exactly what I look like. Let me grab a hairbrush whenever you guys are here. I'Ve also had this hat on and I was kind of sitting on the couch for like 20 minutes before I started to relax whole place, yeah get in there. Let'S not start this um, so I came down to take off the hat. Well, anyhow, any Uzi! I was sitting on the couch relaxing just kind of like this for, like the last 20 minutes, first chance, I've had to sit down all day today and now I have an indent on my forehead. Thank you buddy. When you clean you look. Look. I even broke a nail today I had to change a toilet seat and I just cracked her right up. I scrubbed baseboards, I scrubbed walls. I scrubbed the ceiling in my shower. I cleaned out our linen closet. I cleaned out under the sink. I had my little like Rubbermaid scrubby, toothbrush cleaning thing, cleaning, the grout and the tile and around the toilet around the vanity around the faucet. So just so, you guys know why. There is no lace front, so it's going to have bangs bangs, bangs bangs and I'm not going to tell you guys the colors until I have it on my head because they are color codes. So, while I'm putting this on, this will give you time to go. Grab a piece of paper and a pen because we've got all numbers tonight except for two wigs: you don't have Thanksgiving there in Ireland Jane that's odd! Well, you know I always thought Thanksgiving was started because of the pilgrims and the Indians. So why did they Brenda? Why do they celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada? Can somebody give me some? Let'S do a history lesson uh! I went to claim that you need some energy yeah. I don't ever have energy like. If I have energy to clean, it is for sure a manic episode. That'S when I also start thinking about paint colors, which is also bad news. Your thyroid was removed and your energy went with it. My hair pen must have got flipped around and it's like stabbing me in the head. Alrighty. You guys know that bangs look horrible on me. I don't like wearing bangs, so I'm not gon na fuss with these too much it's a very, very light. Wig. This for the length is extremely low density. So this is peace. P-E-A-C-E here is the side view of it and the back, and then this is what it looks like with it all behind your shoulders. It is super cute and this is a really pretty color. It'S actually a really pretty color and, like I said, if you're somebody who likes long wigs, but you don't want heat friendly and you also don't want a lot of hair. You want low density piece is an excellent option for that, although you do have to take in mind that it is not a lace front wig and there are bangs now with this one, you can part it on the right hand, side if you wanted to, since It is a machine made calf, the brand is aesthetica Janet. Actually, the one that I'm getting ready to try on next is a lighter color and you can also, if you want watch the replay from last Sunday, we tried on this same wig last week in different colors as well. We hope it comes in a platinum. It should come in silver, Sun, rt8 or the Chrome one alrighty, so we are doing peace again again. Machine made cap, no lace, front, hey Debbie! What'S up with this hair pin, that's stabbing me in the brain, so this color is not rooted for all of my Watchers that watch frequently. You guys know that I do not look good in wigs that aren't rooted, but I know that there's a lot of people out there that really love unrooted wigs your dog's barking. Now too yeah. I cleaned out one of my Doom drawers. I literally I I have like so many hair products and stuff like that. That obviously aren't getting used because they're just tossed in a doom drawer, I literally just throw them away hi Linda from Kentucky already here, is peace again from the front this side and the back keep in mind. You can part her on the right hand, side if you want you guys. This wig has very minimal permatease, but I kind of just fluff it up, so you can squash her down. I'M just impressed that it's so low density, for as long as it is do the wigs have silicone on them of some sort and do we need to put it back on them when we wash them. So I believe the wigs all come with some type of silicone on them when they're all fresh and new. Whenever I wash my wigs, I don't put anything on them after I've washed it. But that's just me Roots Sharon roots are much more flattering on me, but I know there's a lot of natural blondes that it's like. Obviously, what makes sense for them to get to get rooted, wigs, she's, a long shag for sure bosho tonight, which is really funny. Since it was just loud so loud, just a couple moments ago hold on, let me check this hairpin because something stabbing me in the head. I went through our bathroom closet table which there wasn't really anything to throw away in the bathroom, but down here in my office it just the space is so limited, so I have my Doom drawers. Acting like I'm done with work, so I just crammed stuff in drawers and then I just never end up going back to using it again and typically, I I'll I would hold on to it, and I would let my mom or my sister go through it or My mom would take it for work and just put it there for whoever wants it, but it's like today was one of those days where it's like. Tight mine aren't too bad, but, like my baseball caps like I have to loosen those almost all the way. Okay, so Ren w-r-e-n by Seneca has a left lace, part and it is lace front and I'm gon na shake this one out. So I'm gon na grab it by the nape. We'Re just gon na shake it and see what she looks like you have Doom piles, Doom boxes. Doom drawers do cut yep, yep, yep yep. I feel you. I am literally the same exact way. I don't know if shaking this one was the best idea or not it made her big. You have the peace wig, it's beautiful, Linda, don't you think that it is so lightweight for as long as it is, the eyeshadow did hold up good Lori Tanya said that uh Peace, So the last book that we just tried on is on sale for really cheap Right now I got ta build some volume in the top, because it's it's laying too flat. It'S a really really pretty color this one. I should have loosened it's cinched in a little bit more. You angrily Purge, that's what I do too. So I've reached the point eventually where I'm like. If I ever need it again, I'll just buy it and chances, are you never need it again? I did take my medicine today. The eyeshadow reminds you of a sunset. Well, it looked much better before I like all day long. I was sweating so bad on, like wiping my face, you know essentially wiping my makeup off. I kind of smudged my eyebrow right there, but obviously I went all out for you guys tonight. You have a hard time letting go, go clothes that don't fit anymore thinking, maybe one day they will again - and you know what, if they, if you do get down to wearing that size again, you can go out and buy yourself something new, because you know how Exciting it is to go out and buy clothes that are smaller. You like this one Sage, so here is the side view in the back. It'S just a nice little. It'S you know what it's I would say. It'S nearly an all one length bob. There are some very, very light layering done on this. You love this one Susan! Thank you. This is the color R14, 26h and again, just like the last one number one guys do take note. This one is not rooted. So if you don't like rooting, don't get this one. You can probably get this one in a rooted option, maybe or maybe not - and you guys know that I do like to lie, but it is lace front, so you can pull it back. None of the ones that we've tried on by Estetica are heat friendly by the way. Just so you guys know, belletress makes only heat friendly, wigs aesthetica from what I know do not make any heat friendly wigs. So keep that in mind you guys, can you guys hear that that's all of destroying a toy upstairs foreign hi Denise you're kind of a newbie? Well, I'm glad you decided to join us tonight. So foreign next is one of my favorite colors. Well, it's not exactly this favorite color, but it's the base of one of my favorite colors from felt not Belle trust Estetica. So Ren w-r-e-n by Estetica, left lace, part lace front, and this is the color caramel kiss now caramel kiss is not rooted, but you can get Caramel kiss in a rooted option. So this is just called caramel kiss. If you wanted it in a rooted option, you would get the one that says see kiss rt4, so my camera, where it usually is kind of feels like you're looking down at us. Why have you guys down so that I can try and keep my head as much as possible above the comments you're watching earlier and learned about BarkBox and signed your dog up? It just means that it's darker up at the roots than it is on the end. Your dog knows Bark Box too yeah our dogs for sure. No and like I said obviously I know it's that they can smell the dog, treats that we get in it through the box, but it's nice to pretend that they know that box is specifically for them. I think most people start out with something that's close to what they have, because they feel like comfortable there. For me, I personally try to apply heat at least every two to three wears, and sometimes, if I'm wearing like a more straight style or if I don't have time, I will just like touch up like just the back nape area, just to keep just to keep Her fresh you, but you don't remember that movie, oh and her husband was like an inventor and like created all these products like Galaxy, glue and stuff, like that. Oh and you know what in that movie too another song from that uh whenever her kids are taking a bath and they're like I wish I was a little bar. So oh, I wish I was a little more, so you guys remember what was the housekeeper's name. I'M trying to think of what she's yelling was it conception or something like that? You don't remember it all and the reason you started buying wigs for Shirley. Well, I'm glad that I brought you two together great movie. What were some other movies from back then? All right, this is the color eight slash 26h big business is one of my favorites. I told my mom one day. I would say a month, but I have every like two week disposable contacts and I wear them without even taking them out to sleep, which I highly do not recommend I, if, as long as they don't tear, I wear them so sometimes maybe a year longer. Even my eye doctor says that you can wear contacts for much longer than their intended or advertised to be used for you've. Always I've never seen The Goonies. Never ever ever. My husband wants me all the time he'll be like. Have you ever seen this movie or that movie or this movie and I'm like no I've, never seen any movies the year. No, I just use my regular flat iron. I'Ve got to see The Goonies with my family. I I, like my family, goes to the movies all the time. I don't even go with them. Like movies, are not my thing: I've never seen Drop Dead, Fred. I'Ve never seen, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead um. We growing up. We watched what my mother liked to watch. So some of our favorite movies were like uh Splendor in the grass or Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Calamity Jane uh, those types of things you like I do like I like any Steve. Martin movie it's caught on my earring. You have blazing four four colors but yeah. So that's. Why, like a lot of those like, I guess, those those like Drop, Dead, Fred and stuff like that, would have been like the pop culture movies of those times I was watching Calamity Jane. I always tell people first decide if you want a heat friendly wig, that you can change the look to by straightening or curling, but they're more maintenance to take care of or if you just want, a regular synthetic who was more low maintenance. That'S the first decision that you make okay Beach Boys for you two.
