Baby, so I decided today, I'm actually gon na do a ball cap, but my hair is like free-flowing right now, no braids whatsoever. Oh, I can tell I have not opened this in such a long time. It'S got people like the jail in a minute, but I'm gon na use it on my edges to Slick them back, I'm just gon na brush it with my little edge control brush. I got this first ball cap here to hold me down, but this one I got myself one of those like new, real thin HD, like wig caps. I don't know where I wear I could use, but when I open this up, I was like. Oh, I got the good clear, see-through stuff back there. Okay here we go. I love that because this is see-through. I really don't have to like pull this past my eyes and give it like that robbery. Looking mask look, I uh was talking through this part, but I wasn't saying nothing of importance. It was probably gon na bore y'all, so I just went ahead and sped through it, but you see what I'm doing, laying the ball cap always forgetting about the ears. I do this so many times. You would think after how many years I've been doing wigs and ball caps. At this point I would never better, but no, I am getting good at like not getting a run in them, though. Usually, it's always a run after I do this side, but not today, it's taking a little alcohol and I'm gon na clean up this hairline get all this excess off my forehead and I'm just taking my Maybelline pressed powder and I'm gon na tint. This up. I probably should have did this before I cut the cap. I usually do this before I cut the cat, but I forgot so it is what it is, I'm so excited to try out a kinky straight. That'S made to be curled, you know usually get you straight. They make them so thick that you can't really do much with it or if you do try to curl it, it's a lot of work immediately straight away. I think this is a good one for the glueless girlies, I'm not one of them, but if you are, I think this is a good one, and I said that, because, with this elastic band, it's sitting so flat and snug to my head. If wigs weren't always sliding around out of place on me, I'd wear it like this, but they do so. I'M not. I did bleach and pluck the knots myself off camera and I am going to just tint from the front because it's hard to see from the front when you got the wig inside out and not on your head. So I think this is a little bit too much of a widow's peak, so I'm just gon na pull these out a little bit there we go it's giving Dracula. It was like real straight down like that's too much, and I already ripped the lace, but at least y'all see how, like I ripped the lace, but it's right where it needed to be cut anyway. Okay, but before I get into cutting, I actually am going to go ahead and style on my head, especially since it's sitting so well, I'm feeling like a little curved side part is the move today. I just I love when companies listen. This is what I want all of my, whether it's body wave or kinky straight. This is what I want in my kinky textured units. All of that extra density that they usually do is too much. This is perfect, like just keep doing this even with the straight unit, so before I get into it, I am gon na cut these ear tabs off, because I think that'll help me fit the wig to my head a lot better, because I really don't have much Pool on the side to see where it's gon na sit, like, I already called it on here - that's why I cut my ball cap off so high. I knew I was probably gon na. Have some hair left out over here. I think I'm actually going to pull this up a little bit more see that way the corners of my hairline will blend in with the wig. So typically, I like to go the route of going under the waist recently because I feel like it keeps my roots. Looking more natural, but I feel like that's gon na lift up my wig cap before I can lift it back down, so I'm just trying to like stay as close to the roots as possible, but going over the lace. This is the HD for me every time. Let me go give you some great lace. Let me tell you, I was just in Minnesota for my cousin's wedding and I was looking at her hair and I like I knew you know. I knew what a wig looks like, so I knew it was a wig, but that lace looked so flawless. I even told her that, because I wasn't trying to be like pet, you know something would be like. Oh your wig looks nice like trying to be dirty. Like no, she knew I knew what it was, but it wasn't that type of conversation, but I was just like that lace was on point. Like I mean you could see nothing and then I found out later she had on a lovely hair, wig and I was like. Ah it makes sense, because one thing left me Gon na Get Right is this HD lace? They have not been playing games. The last couple units they've been sending me this year and I'm talking in person, you know it's easy to disguise lace and photos most of the time and in videos, but in person I'm in her face, and I see no lace. Okay, I don't like to leave any excess list on my hairline. No lace left behind. It was time to clean up this hairline I'ma just a little bit of my spray onto this little well, you see what I'm doing melt that right back. Hd lace is the best thing to happen to wigs. Let'S get to the Melt with the elastic band. This elastic band is dirty. I see it, I recognize, but what happened was um. It was just the first one. I grabbed honestly, like I got a million, but this was just the first one in my site, let that Melt while we get to add in some curls, because this is body weight, real talk. I actually think this was straighten out very nicely, like the straight in the kinky straight ain't gone, and I like how it's already got layers in it. I already got some long layers, so I'm not going to add any unless after I'm done, I feel like I need some. I turn off that backlight because it's always giving like a gray light or something like I love when it's on, but I hate when it is at the top of my head. Actually, I'm Gon na Leave It On never mind. So the big thing with this is we're gon na see how well it curls and judging by how it came in girls. I think it's gon na come pretty well, but I'm excited because I've always wanted a kinky straight unit that I could really just get in and curl without it having to be so hard. I chose to curl with my flat iron because I felt like it would get the heat all distributed through um, the hair, a lot better than if I just use the wand, because I feel like the wand. Doesn'T it's great for curling silkier textures. But when it comes to like a kinky straight hair, that's real, dense and full. You know the flat iron just gon na get through all them strands a lot better. I'M sorry excited this is curling, so well, I'm taking medium to small sizes out of this, because even though they've worked the density to be perfect, it it still is you know it's just a bigger hair, it is what it is. So I like, where this is going, but I definitely think holding spray is necessary because these curls are falling, but they hold a lot better than, I would say, the old kinky straight that had a lot of hair in it like too much density would so I'm Gon na go back and re-curl some of these and then add a little bit of holding spray. I'M not redoing all the curls, just the ones that are kind of like losing their belts. For me, like I've, been saying the whole video. This is the perfect density for kinky straight, not too much, but not too little. The HD is doing what it's supposed to do and this wig layer is very flat. I was a little worried about that, because I am about to leave the house in this wig. So I was like, I hope it lays flat - and I hope this lace Blends and I like the length because even though it's a little bit longer, it's still, you know a little more on the natural side like this could be like. Is this her hair? But honestly, they probably just gon na think it's my hair, because the lace, what lace we thought floats
