Hi everyone. Thank you so much for joining me today. Is this curly or is this curly? Oh, my gosh I'll be reviewing Amber Rock by Belle dress. I'Ve got her in two colors. This is Cola with Jerry and I'm going to unbox sangria for you this one that I'm wearing uh was sent to me from Wix Studio One. So I could review it for the wig studio. One channel - and I did I re I've recorded that review, and I had totally forgotten that I had ordered one when they first sent the email out that these would be released. This is very different than the stock photo so on the stock photo. It appears to be a little bit um more tame if you will so. I was not expecting this anyway. The one in sangria arrived, and I thought I would unbox it for you. I also want to see if there is a difference between them. There are a few things that I really like and there's a couple of things I don't like about the style and I will be uh sharing that with you. Let me um go ahead and take this one out of the box. I love this color sangria. This is absolutely beautiful. This is a deep burgundy with red wine and blend it with chalk with a dark chocolate, uh Brown. I think this color sangria is unique to belletress. I have tried to compare it with other colors. Try to compare it with deepest Ruby from Raquel, Welch, um, cherry red mix from Ellen Villa and a few others, and the colors are just not the same. Yes, that is my dog playing with this toy go away. Every time I sit down to record, he wants to play with his squeaky toy and now he's running around all right back back to Amber Rock, So this color it. I think it is out of all of my cool Reds. I think this is my favorite one, because it is a true burgundy color and it's Blended in with that red wine and that chocolate, it's dimensional. It is just beautiful and when I take it outside you'll be able to to see all right on Amber Rock. We have the lace front if you remember um a couple of years ago. Up until recently, really the beltress had a seam uh, dividing the lace front and the ear tab. There was a seam there and it just didn't. Look nice, especially those that wanted to wear their hair off their face. The new beltress have an extended lace front. It goes all the way to the ear tabs. Amber Rock has a left Model, A left model part and we have minimal permatease, there's really minimal permatease. On this wait, there's a little bit around the nape, maybe uh. It'S just minimal. All this volume that you're seeing is due to the alter the these curls and Amber Rock weighs over five ounces. It'S actually 5.4 ounces. So it's almost five and a half ounces. We have a lot of hair here if you prefer lower density and you want the style I just want to let you know we have a lot of fibers here. You may want to thin it. If you will, I don't I don't know uh. I think it's a lot of hair. It reminds me of the 80s okay: we've got a felt covered, ear tabs, we have an extended nape and we have velcro Adjusters and I always have to cinch it in because beltress tends to run big on me. If I just leave it like this, so I always cinch it in, and I wear a wig grip in order to accommodate my 21 and a half inch circumference, there's lots and lots of stretch to the beltres Caps. All right. Let'S see if this one is as full as the one I'm wearing and then I'm going to I'm gon na I'm gon na. Let you know what I don't like about this style on the Cola with cherry. You could see a lot of the knots and I I wish I would have shown you. I didn't show you when I when I had it on, you, could see a lot of the knots on it. They did add some lighter fibers on the front, but nevertheless we have a uh. The base on this color Cola with cherry is a four which is your a very dark brown root, so the knotting is very evident. However, uh that's on the Cola with cherry on this on this collar, you can certainly see the knotting on it, the the red knotting on there, if you notice on here how it is right at the the Cola with cherry, doesn't have this, but on this particular One you could really see that seam there between the lace front and the ear tab right there. There is definitely a a large piece of of seam there and it is the same on this side. We'Re going to have a big piece of seam right there. I'M really surprised that one doesn't have it, but this one does. It doesn't have it if, when my review goes up on the wig studio, one YouTube channel, I'm going to have it linked down below and if you're not subscribed to that channel, go ahead and subscribe, because I do show the ear tabs on this one. Something else that I don't care about this style. I feel the part is very dense right up here. It'S not bad, but, as you can see, it's very dense. So what can we do? We could do a couple of things if you really really like the style, and you want it. You can certainly pluck it, even though I'm not a fan of plucking the wigs, but you can certainly pluck it. You could also use that scar tape right at the at the part, and that will give you a a better illusion of scalp. Unlike some of my other beltress, this one just seems to have that very dense part. I love the spiral curls, I'm not going to say that I hate this style. I think the spiral curls are beautiful. I think that if you love The this style, which is not one that we can find, I don't think we could find it in any other brand, and if there is please let me know down in the comments, I'm just not familiar with it. If you can get past that dense lace front the knotting on the front, if, if you like low permatease, but you want a higher volume, the style is beautiful. I can get past all of that. I can work with that part. I don't have a problem with that knotting, I don't have a problem with that. I don't wear my hair off the face, therefore, that seam is not going to bother me, but I feel that as a reviewer, it's my job to point out these things to you. So you are aware, because I don't want any of you - spending your money on a wig and then saying. Well, I really don't like that and the way that seam is or I really I don't want to mess with the with the part. Maybe you're someone like me - you don't want to pluck a part, so I want to point it out to you. So you are aware of it: the curls are gorgeous these spiral. Curls are just as I had them done in the 80s. When I had my hair down to my waist and my and I will go for perms, I will go for spiral perms, and this is exactly what my hair looked like. Of course, I was 25 at the time and I was able to wear my hair like this. It is beautiful, and I actually like this one better than the Cola with cherry and this one I felt it looked a little bit frizzy, where this one doesn't appear that way, and it might just be the color. This one isn't frizzy. I I unboxed it yesterday. I I I re, I recorded my review yesterday so and then I just took it off, so this has not been worn, except for the 20 minutes that it took me to review. But I think this one and it could be the color that it just you - could really see those spiral curls a little bit better. Let me show it to you on all sides: uh, some of the do's and don'ts. I wouldn't use a brush on this on this style, because if you use a brush you're going to end up with a lot of frizz um, I didn't even shake it. When I took it out of the box, you saw when I I took it out and I just wanted to keep those curls as intact as I could. I would add some water. If you want to separate the fibers a little bit, you could do that. But honestly, I wouldn't manipulate them too much the measurements on um before I I let you know what the measurements are. Let me just explain that one, the manufacturers give us the measurements what they do. Is they hold it very straight down? It'S not a curled measurement. It is a straight measurement, so the sides are between 11 and a half and 13 inches. The nape is seven inches and the overall is between 11 and a half and 13 and a half. I would like it with a little bit more of a lift in the front, and I could do that. Maybe with applying some heat, maybe some steam or with the blow dryer I could achieve that um. Look there overall, I think the the spiral curls are really pretty. I don't think the style is really meant to wear in any kind of you know style than any particular way, because we have such high density. I won't. I wasn't able to uh put a headband on, but if you want to use one of these that have the wire inside get these on Amazon, you could do that and tie it up like that. I'M not real big in styling these Styles, I guess you could uh clip it back. If you wanted to. This is a shorter version of Twix. If you like, Twix by veltress, it is exactly the same thing, but it's about five inches longer. I don't have Twix to show you uh. That style is just way way too much hair. For me, I will probably be keeping this one, because I think it's fun. It'S not a wig that I would certainly wear every day, but I think it's a it's a fun style and you know sometimes we just want something a little bit different. Do you need it? Well, if you love The spiral curls, if you like a lot of volume, if you want to have some fun with the style yeah, I think that this is that you would love it it's. It is pretty and it is different. So let me know what you think down in the comments I would love to hear from you tell me the truth. I am not the designer of this style Ayah. I had nothing to do with it. I am not the brat. I am just here to show you about the wig, so let me know what you think about um Amber Rock, and do you like it? Do you like these spiral, curls? What do you think about the volume? What is this a deal? Breaker? Which are your deal breakers? It'S the part, a deal breaker for you is that seem a deal breaker for you. Let me know I I really like to to know your thoughts. Thank you, everyone. I hope that everyone is having a fantastic day, and I will see you next time. Bye,

Vicky Littleleaf: Soooo the 80's! Adorable and a wig I would definitely wear, even at 64 years of age!

sharon hardy: You know I am delighted to be watching my good friend when I am now watching her wig channel, lol. I do love these curls but I think I still like your short cut the best.

Jan M.: I love spiral curls as that was my era too, but this wig appears to have little definition in the curls and more a bushy, frizzy appearance. It's not what I expected, so I am very grateful for your always thorough reviews.

Coast Daze: I like Twix and have been waiting for this shorter version because Twix is too much hair for me. Amber Rock is cute, not sure I'd buy it at this point. I do like it better in a lighter color and bottom line I look better in the smoother, straighter styles. Good, informative review, thanks.

CJ H: I do love the Sangria on you. And appears less “puffy” and the curls more intact. Enjoy this piece. It really works for you. However, this piece has too much density and fullness for me. I’m disappointed that Belletress manufactures would allow the cap edges to show and that this would pass their inspection. I wish there was more attention to these type of details with all those who make them. Pride in workmanship should be one of those top priorities, I would hope. Love your review. Thanks, Marlene

Jen Torchia: I literally just bought the cola with cherry! Do you think steaming would help the fuzziness? Honestly, this is exactly my bio hair so I'm not too concerned since my own hair does this but it would be nice to get some more defined curl like the sangria has. Thanks for the honest reviews!

Jean Jacobs: Greetings Marlene! Sangria is really your color, isn't it? It reminds me of your purple hair. I love curls! Curls and shags!! Do you still have your website? Anyway, I always wanted bio hair like this! Love and blessings ♥️

Clara: After seeing reviews of Twix I was waiting for Amber Rock but I have to say I'm disappointed it's so thick and heavy like Twix I really hoped it would be lower density why oh why can't more manufacturers make spiral curls but not so thick!

DeDe Millikan: Just beautiful!!!!!

Debra Englander: Great review. Its 99j from beauty supply wigs

morgaine day: I need to ask you a question about a wig you worn but can’t put the picture up wondering how to send to you thanks Morgaine

morgaine day: Marlene just wondering if you know the name of this wig and colour thank Morgaine.
