Quick And Easy Headband Wig Installation| Monique Destiny

As you can tell hey, besties it's monique or destiny, whatever you want to call me welcome or welcome back to my channel. So today we're going to be talking about headband, wigs, how to install them different headbands that you can put over it and yeah, let's get into the video okay. So the first thing that i did was, i put all my hair back into a ponytail and that's just so that when i put the wig on top it lays completely flat. You can also do braids, but the thing about braids is: if you don't do it completely neat, then you will put the the wig over and it's gon na look crazy. It'S gon na look lopsided and you don't want that. So make sure that your hair under your wig cap is completely flat, so the weight can lay and look nice okay. So now that you put all your hair back under the wig cap and it's flat, what you want to do is take out your baby ears. You know i'm just using this like brush toothbrush, you can use whatever and just brush out your baby hairs and then lay down. So like do your edges and so for my edges. What i'm going to be using is this eco styler crystal and it has like a 10 hold, so my edges are going to stay and they're not going to move around and yeah they're going to be late. So i'm going to go, do my edges and come back okay! So now that you have your edges done, what you just need to do is just put the headband on so the headband wig that i got is this straight um 20 inch wig um. I got it from amazon and it was like 27.. It was like 26.99, so, like 27 um i'll link, the i'll put the link to this week in the description. So you guys can like buy if you want to, and i'm pretty sure that that um company has different variations, so they have like curly. They have straight, they have like um wavy on like different lens, so it's not just the street one and when i ordered it, it came um in this bag. This packaging and it came with uh two wig caps and i'm wearing one of them right now, and they also came with this card that just says, like the company and their instagram and like if you wear the wig, just take a picture and tag them on Instagram - and i got these two headbands to go with the wig - i got this yellow one and this pink one. These two did not come with the wig. Unfortunately, but if you want them, you can just order them separately off of amazon or you can get it at the beauty supply store. I got both of these in the beauty supply store. One of them was like two dollars, i think so, like you buy two of them and that's four and then you could just use the other like headbands, that you have at home laying around. If you have like those chunky, um bedazzled headbands. Those are also really cute to wear with the headband wig, but let me show you guys like how i put it on and, as you can tell, but as you can tell already by the thumbnail, it says like no glue, no bleaching, the knots. No nothing - and this is like my very first weight. I wanted something that was like easy for me to do, because lace fronts are hard. I don't know how to do that and something that you know was beginner friendly, and so i got this one and it has the headband and you just it's like velcro. Let me like open it. It'S velcro, so you just put this over your head and you attach it in the back, so i'm just gon na put it on right now, for you guys i'll be struggling, so you just put it on like that, and what i do is i leave my Edges out, so i take the headband and i cover it over the edge of the wig cap, and i just put it down like that and i'm going to since it's velcro like i showed you guys in the beginning. You just want to snap it in the back and you should be fine and that's literally it there's no glue. There'S no bleaching, the knots there's no plucking there's! No, it's no. None of that. The only thing that i don't like about this wig in particular is that it's synthetic, but i mean it was 27. So what else do you expect it's synthetic? So it's been getting a little bit tangled, but it's nothing too crazy. At least i've had it for, like i've, had it for like over a week, and it's still really soft. It'S really straight and it hasn't been giving me like any heart problems or anything like that. So that's a good thing and yeah. This is just what it looks like and, as i told you guys, i bought two headbands, so you can just replace, not replace, but you can use your extra headbands that you get to cover the black. If you don't want like a boring black headband, so i'm just going to show you this one, this pink one. So this is how the pink one looks. It'S really nice, and then i also got this yellow one. So i'm going to try it on for you guys, and this is what the yellow one is looking like and they're just really nice. I like the whole concept of being able to switch the color of the headband. It just makes it. You know, look nice for any other outfit that you're wearing you don't have to have one solid color. You can use um. You can use different advance to add to your look or whatever you want, and then i have this last one that i'm going to show you guys really really quickly and so hold on. So this is the third and final headband that i have um. This one is chunkier and it kind of reminds me of like the prada ones or the little rhinestone ones like. I said these headbands this one, this one and this one did not come with the wig, but you can buy them separately. So i'll leave this a link in the description for where you can buy each of these um separately so that you can have it with your headband wig. That'S it for this video!
