My First Headband Wig... | Luvme Hair Curly Headband Wig Review And Try On

Hey guys, ebony welcome or welcome back hope. Y'All are doing okay. Today, today's video is a hair video. We haven't done one of these in a while, so I'm gon na be doing a headband wig for the first time. I'Ve never done one of these before so y'all bear with me, so I ordered the hair from Love Me hair. It came box like this with the ribbon on it. The ribbon was broken when it arrived to me, but it's all good. It'S all good inside the box. It was packaged really nicely there's a message that says: enjoy your hair Journey from now on, they included a five dollar gift card towards my next purchase, a pack of headbands which we'll get into later in the video the hair. Of course, a dust bag, a pack of hair tools, which I thought was very nice for them to add, and finally, a wig cap, let's get into this goodie bag, so they sent over an edge scarf which to help lay down your edges. Of course they sent over an edge brush, it has the brush and the comb side and they also sent over a mirror and finally, two additional velcro pieces for the headbands they sent over this velvety grayish silver, one with the Stars in it probably won't wear that A white one, just plain basic white: they sent over a leopard print, one which I like a lot, and then they also sent over a black polka dot one and finally, this beige one with pearls on it, which again not really a fan of under my scarf. I had my head in some twists. These were like probably two weeks old um, so I was like. Let me just try it on these twists see if it works. So I wanted to show y'all what my hair looks like from both sides. The wig has a very strong odor when it's fresh out the box, I'm not even gon na lie to y'all um, but after that's all said and done, I started with some wetline extreme gel on my edges, just to lay those down and get those slick. Next I took some edge control and then I used my Edge brush to just kind of design, my edges in the way that I wanted them again, I'm no professional when it comes to edges, so do it how you feel appropriate. So here's what the hair looks like coming straight out: the net uh. There was some catching at the end of the hair when it came out the net and here's the wig up close and personal. This is what the headband looks like and then at the back is where you strap the end so that it secures to your head. This wig had a total of four cones one in the back one on each side and then one in the front. A few hours later I took off my scarf and my edges. I mean that's, that's as best as they was going to get y'all, so I put on a wig cap. This was not the one that was included in the Box. This was one that I've used in the past for a previous wig. That'S why y'all see the um tint right there, because I used it and colored it for a different wig. Once I finally got that wig cap on y'all, it was time to put on the wig. So I had so much trouble putting on this wig, because the hair I didn't want it to get caught in the velcro and then also the smell, was kind of getting on my nerves and then, like I, ain't know which direction to put the wig on from. Should I have put it on from the front to the back or from the back to the front so yeah? It was just trying to get used to putting this daggone wig on. To be honest, Christmas lights like this is really hideous like what is this job? Okay, girl, okay, so I'm about to flip the camera around and you just. I want your reaction girl. What is this girl? What is this? Do you think I would give you our money back. If you try to comb it out or brush it out, um I don't know. I don't want to do that yet until I know for sure I want to keep it, but for now this is just really ugly, so girl, so um yeah I'ma, just wait till I wash my hair and see if something changed if it's a totally different change. So this was a fail, um yeah. This was a fail. So what I'm gon na do is try to do braids instead of twists. Maybe it'll lay flatter that way and then um yeah. This was a mess y'all, like my boyfriend said. It just looks so like the top got so much volume which it does look like that it's like a mess hold on, so I'm gon na try the braids and then, if the braids lay it down flatter, then I'll try, um, brushing it out and separating these Curls but y'all so far, this is a fail, so we're back for round two. So as I promised this time, my hair is in braids. I did um just box braids all around my head um, but surprisingly, this is flatter than the twist so same as last time, I'm going to be using some edge control. This time I did not use the wetline extreme gel and after I applied the edge control. I just took my Edge brush and lay down my edges. After a few hours, I removed my scarf and then I put my hair in a bun actually for this application. I saw someone else. Do it this way, so I thought. Maybe let me try that see. If it'll be easier, um, so yeah I put the wig cap on and then applied the wig this time the application was a lot simpler. I don't know why I made it so difficult the first time around, but I put it on back to front and right now you just see me trying to adjust the headband. I also didn't bring the headband as forward this much this time, because I didn't need right on my forehead, like that's not what the wig it's supposed to look like and another tip. I use my hair clips to help. You know bring some of that hair out. The way because that was getting on my nerves when I'm trying to secure the strap in the back but yeah. This is what it was looking like so far way better in my opinion, and also no hump like that first time around. So here I'm putting on my favorite headband out of the pack. It was that lip print cheetah print whatever print one and um. Now I'm going to separate the curls so first I tried to use this paddle brush to separate the curls and y'all. That brush was crunching through that hair snagging on every tangle and snag. There was, I literally stopped because I was pulling out hair, so I opted to use my fingers to detangle the hair. It does take a long time, but I would rather do it this way than to literally pull out every strand of hair from this daggone wig. So I will let y'all know that I did experience some shedding and tangling with this hair. This hair was not washed at the time that I applied it. It was fresh out the box and even fresh out the box. There was quite a bit of shedding and tingling um. I will. I was pretty fairly satisfied with you know the amount of detangling and fluff at this point, but there were still some pieces that were a little too clumped together for my liking and plus, I wanted a little more volume just like at the center and top of My head, you notice how it's a little flat right there. I wanted more volume right there, so I did do some additional detangling just to get it to where you know. I wanted it, but yeah that's pretty much what I did with the wig. I didn't spray. Any product on it again fresh out the box. At this point I was pretty much satisfied with the wig. It wasn't. You know the best that it could be, but it was decent. I did go in and separate those curls even a little bit more after this y'all, because I just wanted that big look, but I was playing around with it. Seeing what the back of the wig looked like is not necessarily natural back there, but you can still wear it up if you want, I wore it in a bun a couple times, especially if your hair is not in a bun. It will sit right, um and be flat if you wear it in a bun but yeah overall, the wig is pretty decent um. I don't think it's necessarily worth the price I feel like. If you can find something cheaper, then definitely do that um and I wanted to also just show y'all the DraStic difference of when I flipped the wig out versus how it came.
