Hey guys, it's matt about michi and i'm back with another video. So in this video i'm going to show you guys how i got this natural. Looking wet and wavy look with my 5x5 hd alexis unit by posh collection. So first, of course you want to shampoo your hair and then i put my tame, my tangles leave-in conditioner in my hair as usual, i detangled my hair and i blow-dried it until it was almost completely to mow my available, but hopefully soon i will have my Own product, and when i do, i will add those details to the description section. So one of my signature techniques, when i am installing my wig units is, i actually leave my edges out. I love leaving my edges out because this allows a more natural look. If you like to wear your hair behind your ears or if the wind blows, you don't have to worry about, seeing the actual weft on the wig it'll have a natural effect. This method, of course, can only be used if you are using a closure unit, but i love the closure units and i think they're perfect for beginner wig wears because they allow easy install and they have a great natural look. So what i'm doing now is just molding, my hair down nice and flat. I love this technique better than the braids, because it gives you a super flat. Look with your wig units, you simply just mold all your hair to the back, put it in a ponytail and any excess hair you're going to flip it up and mold it back down with your product, leaving it nice and flat and then you're going to go On top of it with your nude stocking cap, so guys after you put your nude cap on, you actually want to go on top of the cap with the spray and stay. So that's going to help secure the cap down to your head. I'M sorry guys, but i thought i was recording that portion of the video, but i wasn't but i'll be sure to put that link in the bio. So you know exactly which product i sprayed and then i go behind it with the blow dryer. So once your stocking cap is dry, you just want to go along the edges and cut the thick seam off. So now, i'm just using a foundation powder where my part is going to be on my wig unit to match it up with my skin. You could use a foundation powder or you can use a lace tint, so our wig units come in a standard size which is a small, and one very important point i want to make to everyone is you do not need a larger wig unit? If you have a larger head, as you can see, i have a pretty big head and i am wearing a small unit. But once you tuck the combs in on the sides and in the back, that's going to help pull the unit down which is going to allow it to lay nice and flat. If you purchase a larger unit, you're going to get a lot of buckling and it's going to go beyond your natural hairline, which is not going to give you a natural looking wig unit, as you can see, the wig unit is laying nice and flat. It'S very secure - and this is a great thing for those of you who do not like to wear glue on your units, but for those who do i'm going to show you how i apply my glue using the clear lace paste. A little goes a long way with this glue. I typically just do one layer. It goes on clear, so you don't have to wait for it to dry, clear. I go behind it with the rat tail comb and just smooth it down nice and flat. You want to make sure you get it nice and flat because, however, your glue is laying is how it's going to look underneath your lace. Remember guys, you are always putting the glue on your forehead, not in your hair. So when you pull your wig unit down, you want to make sure you are lining up the hairline of the wig unit with where you apply the glue once the placement of your wig unit is where you want it to be, go on top of it with The elastic band, or just some type of wrap to hold the unit down while the glue dries. So while your lace is drying, you can begin defining your part by using a liquid concealer. This is going to give your part a very clean appearance. Next you're going to put the rat tail comb up against your part and you're going to spray it with a spray that matches your actual wig unit. This is going to give your part a very crisp. Look as you can see. I'M super excited about this technique because it took me a long time to figure out when i over bleach my knots. How do i get that part to look perfect, and this is basically what stylists are doing? They'Re just simply going across the part with a spray, and that gives it that perfect look. So now, i'm just using my wax stick. I usually use this along my hairline as well as along my part on both sides, just to give it a clean look and to eliminate any flyaways. So it's been about 10 or 15 minutes now. So i'm just going to take my elastic band off and i'm going to cut the lace off. But, as you can see, this hd lace is amazing. You can barely tell that it's still there guys. So that's the great quality that you get with the posh collection. Hd units, so if you're a beginner wig installer, it's not going to be so easy to detect your lace because the lace is so thin. So after you remove your lace, doing baby hair is optional. Some people love to do the baby hair. I used to didn't like the baby hair, but now i'm kind of a fan of it because it allows my wig unit to have a more finished look or if you just like the sleek look, you can wear the sleek. Look it's all upon your personal preference. So i like a more fuller look, so i'm just going to go through my unit using a brush to tease it out a bit but guys. I must admit this unit turned out amazing, and i love that you can wear this unit behind your ears and it still looks natural. You can put a cute headband on with it and the great thing about the 5x5 units, or they are much easier to install than a frontal unit. Another perk about the 5x5 unit is that you can take it off and put it back on daily, which means you do not have to sleep in it. Thank you guys for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video be sure to check out this unit and more at iloveposhcollection.com and subscribe to my youtube channel matt about michi as well as follow me on ig at mad about michi bye, guys,
