#JAYMESMANSFIELD #PARTYCITY #WIGS

Hi everyone, James Mansell, here bringing you yet another video. Oh my God, you guys we are doing something for Old Times Sake. Yes, it is time for it. Yes, we are going to be styling up a wig I bought at Party City because it is the holiday season. Yes, Halloween will soon be upon us, so I want to show you all what can be done with Party City wigs. I mean I used to do this a lot a few years ago, and I thought why not do this for Old Time sakes, you know see if I'm still good at it see what I can do and see how the quality has improved since I've been away. I got this wig at Party City. Let me get it for you. It is the creepy doll, wig from Party City. Look at her. She is having a lot of fun. That'S some fun eye makeup. It'S like cracks in the porcelain and whatnot okay. It is a pigtail wig from what I can see on the box. Let'S see how it looks, as you all know, usually a lot of the wigs tend to be really creepy crappy, but this one stood out because of the packaging. Let me show you: usually: they come in like a sandwich bag with no kind of divide or anything this one looked like it had a little bit of quality and, like thought put like put into it. So, let's see if the wig reflects that or if it's just nice packaging, this wig cost me 25, which is fairly common for Party City. Wigs, usually they run about 20 to 30 dollars, sometimes 40, depending on what it is or if it was the RuPaul wig. Sometimes there were 60 dollars or up what the hell? Okay! Well, what the hell? Okay, I'm looking at it now, what is going on all right, so the hair quality is not bad. It'S not that horrible, like costume store here, where it's like complete plastic fishing wire. It actually feels like a nice fiber, which means we might be able to do something with this, and I won't sit around crying about it now. The net is definitely like vintage wig. It'S like a 60s wig, where it's like a really rough fishnet, and just that's it. That'S all you get elastic stretch in the cap, but there's like ponytails sewn onto it. That'S fascinating and they're stuffed with some kind of stuff or what is it? What is it? What is it it's matted up, hair, there's matted up hair inside of it they're like little ponytail pieces stitched on well, I'm excited to see what this is going to be like. Let'S, let's transform a Party City wig for all time's sake, welcome back, okay, um! First of all, I'm not entirely mad at this wig. It has a costume store wig. This is actually pretty good like this is a pretty good like amount of volume. I don't know what exactly you're gon na be with this hair, but if you're an evil doll sure I feel kind of like Bette, Midler and beaches when she does Auto titling like if this isn't red it would totally be that I don't get slaying adventuring Crouch. Well, this is fun. Oh, my goodness, it's got good bounce too, like it's, not a bad costume, like I have to say like as far as the quality goes, I'm not mad at it. I'M pretty sure we're gon na get something really nice. Out of this, we decided to style it up, make something drag out of it, but it's already kind of it's kind of elevated for a Party City wig like I'm, actually not mad at this they've stepped their game up a bit like. Do you think they watched my earlier videos and thought like? Oh no, we got ta step it up for Miss Mansfield and shut that up like shut her down, because she's been talking too much s for a while. Now I bet I bet I like to think the whole world revolves around me. That'S just like the realm I live in. I don't know what world you live in, but this is mine. Okay, this is my channel anyways. This is so stupid. I love it though. Like it's even the little buns, I'm not mad at like it's it's well made. I will say that, like it's fairly well made all right now, I'm gon na take this off my head and we're gon na try and transform this into something big and drag for Halloween. Welcome back! Oh my God here is the wig on the head. And yes, I am one of the Banger Sisters, oh my goodness, so many hair changes, yes, y'all are getting three wig looks in this video all right just get into it. Yes, now, first things. First, let's start by styling up this hair, there's a little dangling piece right here: let's just see how it teases, okay, all right, all right all right got it. Let'S see how she teases! Here we go. I mean it's not bad! So far, it's a little long! So I have to trim it a bit but yeah it's teasing down fairly nicely. Oh yeah, we got a good tease out of that. Yes, let's just get a haircut, so we can get more height. Let'S just start going in on this thing. Okay, I don't know what exactly she's gon na be, but we're gon na try and make something out of her all right. We'Re gon na make an example out of you wig, I have to say I love Halloween, especially because all these fun new wigs come out and I'm always interested to see what exactly these party stores are gon na bring to us, because there were a couple times. I was surprised like that one Spirit, Halloween wig. I got that slayed. My whole life, like that was a good wig and this one looks like it might turn out to be one of the better ones like Party City stepped it up a bit right. We bought it at Party City, so it is a Party City wig. I was just curious: It's like a third party or whatnot like Ruby's, Costume Company or something, but no it's from them like they manufactured it. So all right go off. This is a lot of hair, there's like a full base, wig and then two ponytail pieces on the side. Like I'm gon na, be here all night, oh yeah, she is teasing up nicely. Okay, look at that! You better work! You better put me in my place. Wig, I don't know what exactly this hair is going to turn into, but as soon as I turn into a big like cloud of teasing, we're gon na go from there all right now, I'm gon na get the wig teased out and I'll be right back all Right she is all teased out and she's rocking pretty hard. I got ta, say and B Snyder just walk up in here. My goodness come on and feel the noise here we go all right, so I am just trying to tease some kind of hairstyle on this and, as I started teasing it that curl pattern just went Glam Rock so quickly, so we're gon na lean into it. Why not, as you can tell from my hair, I'm So Into Glam Rock right now, so it starts tripping away at some stuff here, so we can start molding this hair a certain way, because I have an idea of where I'm gon na go with this. So I'm just going to start trimming at Angles just give it sort of a a layered effect, not too much because it's a hard front after all, so there's only so many ways you can go about this without it like really showing and being very Wiggy. So, let's start really bringing some hair around here: oh yeah, let's rock hard, also Ernie found this at Target. It'S wig and weave detangling spray, so I'm gon na start using this to help detangle some of it. So that way we can get sort of a texture back because it's sort of a big poofy mess at the moment. So I'm just gon na work those ends so that we can get a nice rock and hard hairstyle. We want her to look like an MTV VJ from the 80s for your youngins out there VJs or people that played music videos on MTV. Instead of a DJ, you were a video DJ. I think that's what it stood for. That sounds right if I'm wrong correctly but yeah. That'S why that's what I thought it meant. I could be wrong all right trimming, some more oh yeah, she's rocking pretty hard yeah. Who was the one blonde VJ she had like the super hard rock hair. Oh, what was her name, you guys remember, let me know, but like she had some of the best hair, also Julie Brown, always Rock hair, like this a little bit too and she was doing VJ work on MTV with just say, Julie, she's, rocking so hard right. Now you cannot take her all right spray, some more get those ends and then from there I just kind of decide where I want to go with it. I got ta make sure I disguise the front section, so I'm going to cut some shorter lengths in the front to play around with, but it's starting to like get a style going ew. I love it. One of my mom's friends had this hair on. Ironically, for years like baby, it never stopped rocking in her house, and I love that it's very Midwestern also kind of Southern too, to like. Never let these hairstyles die that bionic power 80s mullet with, like the really crispy bangs, that you can just play around with baby. A good look, never goes out of style. If you wait long enough, it'll come back in fashion all right. Let'S get this front Fringe front Fringe, an angle. Ah, okay, high voltage, she went from an evil doll wig to the New York Dolls in a blink of an eye. Ah, the 80s, what a good time when even the heavy metal singers got dressed up in women's clothing and wore makeup Good Times yeah, she is serving we're not going to take it anymore and I'm all about it he's like the way I'm cutting it. It'S like I'm, giving a faux layer to it, because the hair curl is so good that it's like gon na spring back and create sort of like a stylish look which I like, like you just play around with it. Yes, okay, the front is shaping up to something pretty cool. Let'S see what the back looks like, oh God, Jesus! The back is another story. We got ta do some layering in the back. Okay, I neglected the back and that's my fault. Okay, because yeah, when I noticed that, as I teased it out like there's, not a whole lot of hair in the wig, like the ponytails, add a lot more hair than it deserved, but the very back of the nape there wasn't a whole lot there like. I want to say there's like maybe five or six tracks to make up for what who else was there? Okay now I just got ta do a little bit of like styling here and there, but that's just about ready to go like baby she's rocking hard. All right, I'm gon na do a little bit of primping and I'll, be right back with the final results. Welcome back. This is the final result, and, oh, my God, girl. I am ready for the gorgeous. Ladies of wrestling. Yes, this is some fun 80s power hair. I mean, if you cleaned it up a little bit. It'D also could be like a very Designing Women kind of look like very Jean Smart. She always had, like you know, rock and roll hair, considering the show she was on and it's actually really really lightweight. Considering like it's really really big, okay, so final thoughts for a Party City wig, I'm actually pretty impressed like this dragged out really nicely like the two ponytails added. So much more volume than I expected and not to mention like the hair quality, isn't bad like as far as Party City wigs go like this is pretty workable, hair like it's, not bad um, I will say when you go to the wigs election at Party City. Just be mindful of you know the hair like pull a little bit out test it and see how you feel about it. If it feels soft and pliable, then it's good hair and if it feels really rough, like fishing wire, probably stay away from that one. But yeah those wigs are still around there by the way, but this one was like a diamond in the rough like it was really nice. Like okay Party City, you took the notes and they're getting better like this is pretty great like this. Is it right now and like for a Halloween costume wig that you're gon na wear once like this is fabulous like if I maintained it, it probably could be worn quite a few times I was like I'm impressed. Okay, you did that and before I get started, I would like to take a moment of them moment where I think everyone has tit me on venmo. I would like to thank Patrick Sergio and Aaron. Thank you all so much for the tips on venmo and I also have some YouTube super thanks, Glenn, Patrick and Vanessa. Thank you all so much for the YouTube super thanks. I can't say the other one anymore. Now this is so much fun to do. Oh, my gosh, if you guys, want to do more party store wigs. Just let me know if you see something say something: okay, I always am looking for new ideas, all right, I'm open-minded yeah. It looks really good like it's rocking really hard. All right now. Century Countess: Jaymes you look so cute today, I love both the wig you're wearing today and the one you styled. Ooh! Quick suggestion for two iconic blondes. One of Mrs. Wormwood hairstyles from Matilda. And Cutie Honey ( an anime sorta similar to sailor moon) she has this cute blonde hairstyle and with this magic heart choker she can transform into her superhero form, but there's a twist. She has a multiple of iconic looks there's one whole episode where she transforms into a bride and is battling a monster in a big 80's wedding dress and not breaking a sweat.

Rob The Newb: I love this wig, it looks like she's in the 80s and just used 5 cans of aqua net to get her big hair!

James Brown: Jaymes! You never disappoint! Love the visual and sound affects! You’re the best! xoxoxo

S T: yessss I have been rewatching all your wig transformation challenges and I missed this content!! though I love the new variety, your amazing wig transformations are what brought me to your channel

Edd VCR: YEEESSSSS I live in the Midwest and my local Discount Drug Mart cashier has this exact hair She’s the living proof of how rock never dies, and you’re carrying her torch!

JaxieWorld: This wig was so great!!! Makes me wanna do this again!!!!! Great work!!! I need a wig like this

Toby: How did that wig look so good on you out of the bag?!

Lee SongWeaver Lipscomb: This wig was giving Vixen "Edge of a Broken Heart" for sure!! Loved this makeover Jaymes!!!

Su 4242: The 80s - The Age of Sticky Lungs Love this episode, such a treat of many wigs Yay, Party City for stepping up Also: Digital Jockey = today? Video Jockey = 80s and beyond Disc Jockey = old school

Stephanie: jaymes can turn anything into magic! it always amazes me how you style wigs ♥️

Ginger Graves: I was in high school in the 80's and I sure do recognize that hair style! Your makeup was especially lovely today!

J F: Do Iconic Blonde Veronica Lake's Peek-a-boo style, please! You Rock, Jaymes!!

wondercub: Her name was Nina Blackwood and she was amazing!

Maria Drew: You turned that wig into something amazing wow!!

Soumya Sharan: Amazing work as always! Love the backdrop! It's so you

ThereGoesKitty: love the throw back to the old costume wig restyling videos. you worked miracles with some of them to even get them to be wearable!

five5x: The longer you wore the wig, the more I thought it looked like a Katya wig. Then my partner comes from the kitchen and says, is she restyling a Katya wig.

Sheila T: So I was at Dollarama last week (dollar store in Canada…you’ve styled a few wigs from there Jaymes after a fan sent you a box…). They’ve raised their prices…some stuff is now up to $5. But I got like 3-4 wigs that are actually from Party City. So I got $20-$25 wigs for $4-$5 each. Now we’ll need to play with them as per Jaymes tutorials.

Felicia Echeverria: I might go buy that wig. I hope PC is giving you a commission.

KuroDokueki: I've just been going back through the old Party City transformations the past week or two. And am rewarded with a new one. This is the most exciting part of October yet.

Astro Gallus: Wow! It looks great after you finished it! I love it. Very Vixen!!

Tamsin Frost: What a nostalgic treat from our halloween goddess

Sophie Adam: From start to end that was a fantastic wig

Stylejd DiamondLife: Definitely do more Party City wigs please

Roger Lloyd: Magical as always ✨️

🎀skylar🎀: with halloween right around the corner can you do a bride of chucky inspired wig

Astro Gallus: I have to admit, I actually rather like it when you tried it on before doing anything to it. It looks good on you straight out of the box.

Elizabeth Ramirez: From the get go it does not look that bad however you did great to style it Jaymes ❤️

JD Butler: Yay! I love these videos! ❤

Astro Gallus: You know, I love a lace front wig and all. I have a bunch of them and they are fabulous, but a hard front still has its place and they are still relevant. I still love them and in some ways, I actually like them better than a lace front. I have to say, I really dislike seeing a lace front that isn't glued down around the front and above the ear, with those sides just flapping in the wind. Give me a hard front any day. I know how to trim in a fringe!

Kris Ryan Stallard: Party city wigs are what initially got me watching you!

Shadow_Vetrin: I love a good Peg Bundy, Joan Cusack from Working Girl, GLOW kind of hair.

Eric Wandless: Before the wig was styled Jaymes was totally vibing Suzanne Somers. Being beautiful "out of the bag" isn't fair to the rest of us.

michael karo: jaymes, i now call you the wig whisperer :) amazing transformation!

heiren: You gotta bring the series back please ❤❤❤

mariah is skinny fuck blue lives: Yaaaz she went back to party city where she belongs!!

Ivey: I love these videos so much!

Brandon Fernandez: Beautiful!!!!!

E: The end result looks like Dolly Parton in Steel Magnolias, and I'm here for it!

Carl Brain: Finally! The struggle buses my FAVORITE

Starlah Mutiny: your hair! your outfit! i loveeee!!!!

A WEREWOLF: idk what it is but jaymes is really glowing in this video! i mean she always does but more than usual haha

Celestial Virgo: Can you style a wig inspired by Wayland Flowers’ Madame, that would be extremely iconic!

zepies!: day 1 of asking and waiting for jaymes to do a fran fine wig out of amazon/party city wigs

Foxxytaye: YESSSSSS. The Category Is 80’s Lady Wrestler!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Jared: Try spirit Halloween wigs too! Their quality will surprise you!

Venómica: LOVE the editing today

Lisa Jackson: I was a teen in the 80s. Girls loved the boys who wore more makeup than them. I still love Glam Rock.

MsLavixen: Ok so random but I would love to see a video where you go and meet “Sergio!” They’ve been such a good supporter and frankly I love the way you say his name

Mikey Frederick: I see the executives of Party City sitting in a dark boardroom..a picture of you on the tv screen lol.. "challenge accepted" they all nod in unison..love your content mam..

Jessie Prouty: Dayumm! Look at those glittery pink YABOS!!

Jasten King: The ending is giving classic Angelyne

ExitDomina: oh my gosh you look like a doll today!!

Brittany P: I miss these videos , but I love domestic goddess too!

J F: Not Fair that you even look great in a flat wig!

Ditte Datte: Great start of the Holiday Seasooon

Jojo: Post tease that wig looked just like the Samantha 1980s flashback scene in the opening of second Sex and the City movie! I can even hear Rapture by Blondie playing. Tell me I’m wrong!

FierceJadeMakeup: Right out the bag I liked it!

Codename Kendall: You in the wig before the style gave me late 90s early 2000s pop girl

-here-: Yesssss I’m so happy to see this video up

Maria Conway: You are a treasure

Donabela Kanela: Omg I need this wig!!

Todd B.: If she'd left the bang slick, it'd look like a blonde version of Dave Foley's wig from the Kids in the Hall skit Sex Girl Patrol. Dig the 80's look though.

mariah is skinny fuck blue lives: 3:31 feeling her french vanilla fantasy!

Pez: You look absolutely snatched!

to masz: For hair spray . Yes for wig transmission

pequeña travieza: First time honestly the wig ftom the bag looks better then how it got transformed,"

MyFatDogCher: The wig gave I’ve written a letter to daddy vibes unbagged

🎀skylar🎀: my all stars 89 winner looking good here

Pat Gallagher: Do Hocus Pocus wigs!!

JaxieWorld: Yaaaay I’ve been waiting for this!! Fav videos!

Jan Franklin: I’m getting Lonnie Anderson WKRP vibes from this wig….not bad

Erin Grant: That was the goddess Nina Blackwood from MTV! She does a radio show on Sirius now on the 80’s channel.

Ms ThAnG!!!: The VJ is Nina Blackwood. She's still working as a DJ on the 80's on 8 channel on Sirius/XM radio. Her voice sounds like a 60 year old cigarette that had come to life.

Sheila T: One thing about the hair in the 80s, beside Aquanet…lots of people were using water and sugar to do their hair! Cheaper than hairspray!

Truth2: Pretty sure the VJ with the “rock” hair is Nina Blackwood she a DJ on Sirius XM 80s channel now. Pretty sure there a few VJs on the channel

Jen: Yesss my favorite!!

кคקק๏гtєг: Otto Titsling reference! Love it!

Albert Mena: "you better put me in my place wig"

niceguy: the world does revolve around you.

Jessica Chambers: I miss these ❤❤❤❤

rextrek: 30th..WooHoo..It's the One, the Only Jaymes Mansfield ..WIG Whisperer Extraordinaire! MWAHAA! xo :) ...the wig is somewhere between "Baby Jane and Jennifer Coolidge".....you rFinal Wig Moment is Gorgeous / love the bangs...def. 80's...

Carlo Dollente: You look like a vintage barbie

Kelly N Herd & Crafting Grotto: If it was black, you could to as Natasia from What We do in the Shadows.

danielle diller: Lol it looks like a lolita wig nice find

The Slithery Sylvie: The wig out of the bag was giving Bette Midler meets Chrissy from Three's Company

Alicia Weatherholt: I could see that wig looking very 2000s scene kid if you straightened out the ends a little
