Diy! How To Make 8*7 Wig Cap/Beginners Friendly.

Hello guys welcome back to my channel in today's video. We are going to learn how to make a diy eight by seven cap, so we're going to use this cap for a braided wig actually, so this is what we're going to need for this tutorial today. We are going to need a swiss lace, a scissors tape and a pen so and this swiss lace is a soft sweetness. You know they have types of sweet, they have the hard one, the soft one and the regular swisslers. So this is actually this um. The smooth one like the soft one and when placing this lace before you, like you measure it you're going to make sure, is in a straight line like there are lines there. There are ones that are in vertical and you want the time horizontal so make sure that it's going to be straight before you start measuring. So, let's go ahead and measure this lace so measure out the eight like eight inches on the side and measure the seven inches like on a straight line like now. What i'm doing here is measuring the seven inches, but you know now, if we are going to make a braided we're going to leave um some lace in front that will cut out when you know gluing it down to our head. So we're going to leave like one and a half inch for this, so we are now going to measure eight and a half inch instead of seven. So we are going to now vent we're not going to just vent seven and leave the other one and half in front. So this is how we're going to do so. Let'S mark it, let's go ahead and do it. Then, in the other side, we are going to just measure it um nine inch so that whenever we, when we sew it into the cap into our black cap, those space that is going to take like those sewing space - let's just call it one inch. So that will not make mistakes, as you can see, i'm just i'm just going to measure nine inch instead of eight, so when i'm done sewing it down, it will now be eight like it should not be eight exactly so, let's go into it, hey i'm! That'S what i'm actually doing. That'S what i'm basically doing so. This is how to do it, so you keep on you know you cut it make sure you are cutting it out on a straight line. I don't go and cut one side bigger one side, small just follow that line. You marked if the pen i used would not be good for you use a chalk, a blackboard chalk like a white chalk. Okay, that's what you're going to use for yourself. If you think like the the pen will not be okay, then you use the chalk. So this is it after doing it, you make sure you you like measure it again, so that you are sure you got the actual measurement of what you're doing so that you know you won't, go and be making mistakes. So that's what i'm basically doing here so guys. This is the cap we're going to use for this tutorial or using a dome cap raising the medium size. You know they have the big small and medium they have large too. They have large small and medium optimizing thing, so let's just go ahead and lay the cap down on the head, so guys we're going to lay our lace on the black cap. So after laying it down we're going to sew it down, so make sure you're laying it flat like we're going to make sure we need flat. So these t pins, so there will not be any any side that will be rough on the cap, so we are going to take our time like this side there. You will take your time because it can be challenging because i didn't actually cut this thing down. Well, like i didn't place it on the cap, because some people place it on the black cap, they measure it and pin it the way they want it to be. But i just cut my own on the floor then now i'm now sewing it down on the black cap. So it's a kind of challenging so you're going to be measuring it to make sure you're getting it before you, you go and so like um. Instead of 8 by 7, you now sew 7x7 or six by seven, you got so that's why we are going to make sure we are measuring it. Well, like we're going to take our time and measure its will.
