Hi and welcome, or welcome back to my YouTube channel in this video I am unboxing and installing a straight lace - frontal wig from you, nice, hair. Let'S get this box is beautiful, so you know me: I love an unboxing. I love packaging, so yay to this beautiful box and you know a little slogan on there and in the Box. You already know I love when boxes come with things other than what I've ordered in them. Little bonuses so put his little bagging in the bag. Is a wig cap, a mouse Bend lashes and something that I haven't seen yet, which is a brush, and this brush is perfect. I would say for um your lace if you want to apply any type of foundation or powder to your lace and you're, not using a the wig knock powder that I use, because in the description then, this would be great to apply it to your lace and To your cap and your scalp as well, so thank you for that. This will come in handy and now for the wig itself. So now there is a new style of wig, where the hairline is supposed to look more natural and look more like our hair. So this is one of them, I'm excited, and yes, so it comes with curly baby hairs and if you've been watching my videos, you know I suck with baby hairs. So I'm excited because now uh less work for me to do and I can still achieve that baby hair look. So I have the wig here. You can see that the hairline is looks a little bit more natural, so the baby hairs are curled, so I am so excited to try this. This is 18 inches. By the way, the hair itself feels really good, there's barely a smell um, I'm so excited. It'S frontal, of course, so you know I always like to get the knots. So let's put this on, let's see how it looks I'm excited. I can't wait, and this might be my first time where I can get the baby hairs to look good. So at this point I've gone ahead and bleached the knots and, as you can see, the baby hairs lost a little bit of or all of the curl after bleaching and washing. And I don't know why I didn't think of that before, because the chemical process, but the hairs are still there, so I will figure out how to make them look good after, but yes after bleaching, the knots - and I didn't even pluck this hair, so the spoiler Alert I completely forgot to pluck and you'll see how it looks after you can be the judge if it does need plucking, but I'm going ahead now and just straightening the hair and flattening it so I've sprayed some Tresemme spray in it. The link is in the description below and I've gone ahead and used the wax stick link for that is in the description below and then you will use a hot comb just to get the top really really really flat, and then I've also gone through afterwards with A straightener to get it at bone straight, so this process, especially with straight hair, is a little bit time consuming because you will have to go through and flat iron or straighten the hair almost track by track and then you'll need the hot comb in the front And I even go through track by track with the hot comb as well, just to get it to be super straight and super flat. Now you'll see here that the baby hairs have already been done, and I completely forgot to hit record, but I did it. I was able to make it look good, so I used some mousse and I'll put the link to this to that in the description below and some Edge gel and just went through, and because the hairs were already cut and they're already pretty a pretty nice length. It wasn't hard at all, but again it was a little time consuming and I did decide to go ahead and do it on the mannequin head prior to putting it on just for me, because it's easier to do it this way and then to fix it. When it's on my head, then to try and do everything after it's already been installed on my head now, I'm going to do the ball cap method, just because this was my New Year's hair and I need it to look really good. So I went ahead, took a wig cap going to spray, some freeze spray on it along the hairline and then once that's adhered once. It'S dried use, a blow dryer to speed it up then go ahead and just cut along the dried parts. Once it's dry you'll go ahead and cut along your hairline, so you'll see here that I sprayed a lot and that's just because I wasn't able to pull the wig cap past my eyes because of recording purposes. So you don't need to spray that far down your forehead and you want to make sure that the sides, especially around your ear, are also sprayed down, especially if you're going to be brushing the hair back and showing the entire hairline of the wig. I knew I wasn't going to be so I didn't Focus too too much, but it still is very important to get right near the ear sprayed it down if you're going to show the entire hairline or, if you're, going to do an updo and once you can Use the scissors to cut the bigger pieces, then you'll use a flat blade to do some more real Precision cutting and get as close to your hairline as possible. I'Ve gone ahead and used my wig powder to match and try and match the wig cap. To my actual color and I've added a little bit of glue, some got to be glue and then some lace spray and I'm going to just put the wig on and put the Melt band over it to hold it in place and so that it will be Laid and while I have the Melt band around it, I'm just going to straighten it just a little bit more and at this point, if you want to add some curls to it, you can go ahead and add some curls as well or you can use the Hot comb to press and flatten the roots some more - and this is the fun part, cutting the lace so excuse. My scissors, they're dull, I'm gon na, have to get a new pair, but I would recommend to cut more of the excess lace with scissors, just to kind of get it out of the way and then to go through with a flat blade. So this is just an eyebrow blade and that's where the Precision comes in, so you want to cut and cut as close to mimicking a natural hairline as possible, and the eyebrow razor will do that because it'll give a jagged cut. But you don't want to cut too much, and this is why also doing the baby hairs before you install will help, because if you cut too much lace, it mimics your real hairline and then it will basically push your hairline further back. So if you at least have the baby hairs first, it will prevent you from cutting too much lace and uh yeah. Then you just go through and you cut and cut and cut, and this part is a little time consuming and a little tedious, because you want it to look good. This is this is what makes or breaks the look of the wig. So you want to make sure that you cut it and it looks good, and here I'm going through, I'm not done cutting the lace, because obviously you can see that it doesn't look very natural right now, but I did want to just have it really make sure? It'S adhered first before I go through and cut the remaining lace, so you'll see here, look it is laid and I'm going to go through now with the blade and do a more more cutting just to make sure that I can get it as close to looking Natural as possible foreign, yes, look at that! Hairline! Look at it just look at it, so I'm gon na go through now with the wig powder and just touch up the hairline a little bit and then just fix up the edges with some edge control and wait for it. Here'S the final look before I put on some makeup and yeah. I like the baby hairs I do, and here it is with a few curls added and some red lipstick. Thank you so much for watching, don't forget to like comment and subscribe.
