Part 1: Lace Front Scalp Effecthide The Grids, Simple & Easy Fake Scalp

Original Video: https://youtu.be/wSfIQMeLcpU

Okay, guys, so this is about two weeks old. I didn't show me doing the cutting the lace and edges and etc, like that when i first got it because i forgot to do it, so i decided to do it this time, i'm gon na wash it blow dry it and then show you guys how i Get the little scalp effect a fake, scalp and it'll be new and fresh and whatnot so stay tuned for that clip and i'll be back alrighty. So it's been washed and of course you want to make sure you get all of your makeup off of it and make sure it looks like it's supposed to you know brand new or whatever, like that. You also want to dry it with a cotton t-shirt, because you want to treat it like it's your hair because you bought it. So it's your hair period anyway um! So i'm just going to blow dry this and then i'll be back okay. So right now i'm just going to be plucking the hairs just get a little more natural feel i don't know. I feel like every time i wash the wig it just after you wash it it's not as perfect as you want it to be. Like the first time, so i'm just gon na redo it a little bit took out some more edges, um and yeah. I can't show the actual like, like the actual act of me plucking, just because i don't have like the phone set up. The way that i want it to be - and it doesn't take longer - and i won't hurry up and get this done, but next video, if you guys, want to see that i'll do that, all right, everybody, the wig, is complete. These is it plus. These are the edges now they're, not um, i'm not really gon na. Do them right now, because you're about to see me make the little concoction of makeup that i put on all of the screen door. Parts lol and that'll give it the little scalp effect. So you're about to do that right now and i just wanted to show you it fully plucked and whatnot all right. So this next part, all you're going to need is makeup that matches your skin tone. Some got to be glue, i'm definitely running out, but it's fine, don't judge me and the plate, so i'm gon na pour whatever is left of this on here and then i'm gon na mix it with the makeup. Okay, i actually forgot two more items: you're gon na need powder makeup of your skin tone and a mixing tool, i'm just using a um. You know plastic butter knife. I don't really want to get anything else dirty, so i always use a plastic butter knife and yeah. So you don't need a lot. You probably are going to need that much and i'm gon na mix it. Okay, i didn't add any more. This is the color. It'S looking um about what i needed to look like, or it is an experiment thing also. I want to say that i originally got this idea from another youtuber and i'm going to insert um her video, so you can watch to um see basically what i did. I'M just remaking it, but i also want to give her credit, because that's where i got it from i didn't make this up so now, once you mix it you're going to add a little bit of powder and you don't need a lot okay. So that's just a little bit of powder. I added it's not a lot now you really don't need the powder, that's an extra step that i decided to do. But it's because i want the color to come out. You know just right, not anything crazy. So i'm going to mix this and then the concoction will be finished alrighty, so the lighting has come off because i'm using the sunlight instead of my ring light um. Sorry about that, i just didn't want to get it out. I thought this is going to be a quick video, i'm trying to make this quick. So anyway, if you use the um powdered makeup, you want to make sure you grind it to a fine consistency. So it's definitely powdery you don't want any like clumps or lumps of like harder makeup like you. Just don't want any lumps in it and if you can tell i have a few lumps, but it's a little bit different for me. This isn't my first time. I know how to like smooth it out and fix it. It'S really not that um hard to do, but you also don't really want to go through this if you're a first timer. So if you do use the powder makeup grind to find consistency and if you'd rather just do without you can just do the liquid makeup alrighty. So, as you can see, that part is very clear. It'S very very visible and that's what you want, because when you put the concoction onto your part, you want to make sure you're following the line. Now i am going to be applying it with my finger because i don't like using like brushes and stuff. I just feel like i get it the best with my finger, i'm sure i could find like some type of spatula, which would be easier, but i don't know since i've been doing that i've been doing it with my finger so you're going to take a little Bit of what you have it's kind of not a little bit, but that's fine, and then you want to follow the part just follow the part following it following it. If you can see, i got a little hair. I try to get all the hairs out. The way, but it's fine go up and follow your part. It'S a little bit hard because i'm doing this one hand, because i didn't stand on my phone. That probably would have been better, but it's okay. The next video will be fine. I wanted to just get this out of there um falling apart, so this is just one layer, you're, probably gon na. Do this um, i'm gon na say three times three times you can see it's coming along already. Some holes are closed up, so i'm gon na do one more layer and then i'll show you guys that okay, so i want to show you guys this, since i was in the middle of doing the second layer when you do it, you want to kind of Tilt the wig upwards and rub your finger along, so you see that you're covering the holes you lightly want to press it because you don't want to cover all the hairs. But your goal is to mainly cover the holes and might do this at the second layer, and i said you're probably going to do about three and i'm stopping midway, because it was just easier for me to record but again you're covering the holes. And let me finish the other layer, but look how good that's? Are you looking yeah again, all you're doing is holding the wig and smoothing it in there again you'll be able to pick the hairs out of it. If you can see, i got some hairs like right in the middle of the part, but it will i'll get it out. But again you want to try to get all the hairs out and there's some hair on my finger, but it's fine. This is a really good wig anyway, i like it so yeah, you're, smoothing it and you're, dragging it across you're, dragging like the excess of makeup on this side and you're dragging it on this side. Just so, you don't have a bulk of it in the middle. Okay, so an important part is when you get to the edges. You want to make sure it's light product on your finger. So that's not as light as i want it. So it's fine just light product and smooth it out, but you're, just smoothing it out lighter you basically aren't going to cover the holes like you did the middle part, because then the lace is not going to lay when you use glue or whatever you normally use To lay your wigs, so just fine coating and you'll go thicker around the um like the hairline, but not the edges. Never go thick on the edges. You want to be able to still see the holes because when you lay it it'll look better, okay, everybody! So this is what it's going to look like. You do have some holes because you want that lace to lay and when you put it on it'll blend through that's what the scalp is looking like, it's getting very much real again. You want to go light when you get to the top. I kind of went a little heavy, but again we'll see what happens since i've been doing this for a while, and i don't really mess up um and then you can see. I have makeup on the edges that i took out and really all you're going to do, or even if you get some on the hair you're going to get a cloth and put alcohol on it and you're going to wipe that off. I'M going to do that. Right now and then you can see what it looks like all right. I got as much as i was going to because it was taking a little bit longer and when it dries you'll be able to take off more take off less any spot. That looks blotchy i'll, show you how to put on a little bit of water or mousse to smooth it out. So the key for this is you let it dry for 24 hours now. I know that's a long time, so, if you're going somewhere, then this is not something you're going to be able to do quick. You want to take time because you want your wig to look like scalp um, so yeah 24 hours overnight, like 24 hours, is a little excessive, but you can do overnight. Basically, you can speed up the process by using a blow dryer, but it just don't hit how it hits when you let it sit overnight. I have tried and i'll tell you letting this overnight is worth it and you will see in the next 24 hours so i'll see you guys, then bye all right guys. So it's been over 24 hours. As you can see, this is the final look, i'm just showing you it all. You know dried up, that's the scalpiana that we wanted. You can see the hairline and the middle part, and it's really looking good. You know, that's how i like it to look. I like it to look like somebody's head and um in the next clip you're about to see i'm going to take a hair oil. You can use any kind of hair. I just use gray seed oil um because yeah it's fine and you're, going to run it along the hairline and whatever part you choose, if you did a side part do the side, part middle part and that um, i didn't record it because i just forgot it Was a long process, but anyway you just rub a little bit on your fingers and i'm showing you like what i would do if i had any on my fingertips. Had i not already put it on there before i started recording but very simple process: you're just putting the oil on it gives it shine. It gives it look. It'S like i just oiled my scalp, and did it's just my scalp's, not on my head right now. So yeah this is the final look and you're going to see me install it so stay tuned for that. If you want to

LUSHANI: Thank you for this!!

SLR Couture: I knew I would find a cheaper solution to creating the perfect line Swiss stick. I actually planned to create my own using wax and makeup. What she's selling is a wax stick that is why you need hot water or heat to activate it. This looks much simpler. Trying this out today. Thank you

Nataly D: Gurl you are a national hero. Way cheaper than that perfect Swiss line thing for 30 bucks. (And you get a little amount at that.) Bought one of those HD lie Chinese wigs from Amazon. Ain’t no HD about it. You can see all the grids and knots! False advertisement. I was so mad I couldn’t send it back. This was the perfect solution. And I used regular wig glue and wig tint.

Onika Watkins: You can also use clear morning glory and concealer. It dries in 10 minutes, been doing that for years.

lucy martin: Love, love, love this! Thanks for sharing!

Mundia Simasiku: Thank you for this
