You'Re gon na need a wig stand. I got this wig stand from Amazon. I will link it down below it's by GE X. It is on the expensive side, but it is a really nice quality. I have this wig block here. It'S 22 inches for the head size, circumference, and I also have some t pins already pinned in and I will link both of those down below as well, and this is just a little hack that you may run into when using wig box. I like to put a sock basically and secure it with the rubber band, so that my wig block sits on the stand securely and it's not wobbling and spinning all over the place. So, just a quick little hack that I thought I'd share now, I'm going to show you guys how to measure your head this measurement I do is front to back. I start on the mannequin head in the back, because that's where I can kind of picture where the nape is, but on yourself. This is where you want to measure starting down here by where the nape area should be. That would be right around where the nape area would be, and then I go up to 14 inches, because that is how long my front-to-back is and that's just the very center front of your hairline and now the second measurement is side to side. So first on your head is going to look like this, where you're going right behind the ear on one side, all the way across your head to right behind the ear on the other side, and so do that on the mannequin. But an easy way to do it is my head was 16 inches from side to side. So what I did is just find the middle point of that, so that's 8 inches and then line that 8 inches up in the middle, with the middle line on the mannequin head now, you're gon na need a wig cap. My favorite wig cap to use are the mesh, don't caps. So this is what it looks like it's very, very stretchy. It has a very thick elastic band at the as well. I will link down below and you can find a spandex mesh dump cap. I recommend buying in bulk, if you make wigs a lot because sometimes they are hard to find, but now I'm just putting it on the mannequin head and I'm gon na t pin on the points where I made. That marking and that's gon na be really important. When it comes down to this wig fitting correctly on your head, so I put the T pins in right where I marked the mannequin head with the marker - and this is the hair that I'm using this - is the hair company sponsoring this video? It is son, bear hair, I absolutely love this curl texture. This is how the bundle looks. I got their deep wave texture, but it is kind of on the curly side, then the deep wave side, but yes, this is what it looks like after I have washed it. So the curl pattern is still really nice and luscious. I just did a quick, shampoo and conditioner to prep the hair. Cuz hair is very, very soft. It didn't have a smell which was really nice as well. This is the frontal again that beautiful, deep wave texture and you can kind of see on camera, like just how smooth this hair looks. It'S very smooth, very frizz free - and this is what the hair line looks like. It is a pre plucked hairline, but I'm definitely gon na. Pluck it some more so now lining up the frontal. You want to go ahead and find that middle point on your mannequin head. So what I like to do is just fold the frontal in half to find the middle point just real, simple and then once I find that middle point, I'm gon na t pin that on to that front marking so that middle front portion of the frontal it's Gon na sit right there with a middle front portion of your real hair ends. So if you want it to be a little bit, you know giving and give yourself some room. I would kind of pull it down, maybe half an inch further than that line that you have just a little bit more room to work with or in the hairline area. If you're trying to cover your forehead or something like that. So now I'm going to go ahead and continue to line this frontal up and T pin it in place. I put the back in place right now, but it's not centered, yet it's just there for the time being. Now I'm taking the bottom of the frontal in the front - and this is usually the portion that a lot of people cut off. But what I like to do with my wigs and what I've been doing with my wigs for years now. Is I like to pull it down so that it matches right where that t-pin spot is where the marking is for a right behind your ear, and what that does is it makes it really really tight on your head and it makes it virtually glueless like you're. Not gon na need any adhesive to keep this on your head, because what this is basically doing is using your frontal as its own elastic band. If that makes sense, because it's gon na be pulling on the spandex that it's gon na be sewn down to as well, so it's not going anywhere, it's very snug and it's the perfect fit for your head because of the measurements, so yeah just pay attention here. Where I'm lining everything up and I'm just kind of pulling it tight and making sure that the very bottom of that frontal piece the corner meets that side marking on the other side, and now I go ahead and readjust the front, pull it back. One good time make sure everything is pretty tight and snug, and then IT pin the back in place. So you may have to do some slight readjusting once you keep it in the back in place. But the overall point is before you start sewing anything down. It'S making sure that this frontal is snug so now I'm just clipping the hair out of the way and I'm going to start sewing the frontal onto the spandex dome cap. So this is the kneel and thread that I use for my wigs. This is the pretty standard stuff for my front tools. I always do this sort of blanket stitch here. It just makes everything really secure and it allows me to be able to space my stitching out a little bit more than if you were to just do it. The regular way, so I'm just going to continue to stitch this across the entire frontal, so I'm finishing up here at the bottom, on the other end of the frontal, and now I'm going to start starting on the wefts. So, for a bob, I always do single left, because I do not want my bob to be too thick in any way shape or form. So that is why I'm doing a single weft and for the first first stitch I go through the weft and then every stitch after that I just go under the weft, and I did this close up here. So you guys can see that I am going inside. The mesh overlay, but I'm not going through the elastic band and you'll, totally understand what I mean when you try it, but it it's very. It'S very simple when it's in front of you, because you can clearly see and feel where the spandex is, and you just avoid it so just go through the mesh that way your wigs stay stretchy, because if you start sewing through the elastic band, then your band Won'T stretch as far as it could, because it's all stitched down in random areas so be careful with that. Do not stitch the spandex portion of the band and yeah. I'M just gon na continue to go underneath the weft with a very simple stitch. I do one secure stitch when I get to the end and then I fold my wife's. I do not cut my wife, I fold them that reduces shedding. So for the first stitch. Again since there's on a new row, I go through the weft and then I go right wherever I'm stitching at so going through. The weft for the first stitch make sure that one it's secure and two it is flat. So yeah. I just keeps everything really flat and I'm just going to continue that way of doing things for the entire week just going across across across across across this video is sped up, but it is the whole process start to finish, and I really wanted to capture that. For you guys so yeah for the rest of the video is pretty much going to be music. Until we get to the end you we go losing so control gives. In myself we don't wan na. Let you know this or we become strangers, don't run under a spotlight for you baby when you left me, Oh so I'm finishing up this last bit right here at the top. Just one more line here and that's gon na be able to cover that and I'm pretty much connecting it to the frontal at this point once I get it right up there to the top, so everything lays flat - and I also go through the weft at the Very top as well that just keeps everything super super flat. So I'm doing a couple of knots before I cut off this thread and then that's it and then this is how it looks when I pull it to the side and pull it back away from the frontal. Now I'm taking out the clips and I'm going to unpin the hair and pull the frontal back so that I can cut off this spandex cap. So since it's sewn on there, you should have no problem at all. When you cut this so cut it close to the stitches, but not too close, and then I just pull it back down on the mannequin head and you can see how snug it fits on the mannequin head. So I'm T pinning this lace down. I'M about to start tweezing the hairline and customizing it, so I need to pull all the hair out of the way it's like I said in the beginning. This is a pre tweeze unit, so I'm not gon na have to tweeze too much, thankfully. So what you want to do is pull out just a little bit of hair in the front and it was very easy to see which hair. That was for me, because this is again pre tweezed. So that's gon na be your lay down here. It'S your baby! Hair, but what I want to do with these tweezers and you want to make sure you get some really nice sharp tweezers. It'S just gon na make your life a whole lot easier. It'S just tweeze behind that line. So that's just what you do you just tweeze! Tweeze tweeze after I've tweezed a bit, then I kind of comb the hair back and see what I'm working with and then I tweeze again coming back again. It'S just a process of just eyeballing. It really is how I do it. I just really eyeball it, but I know that I want my temple areas to be more tweeze then say this area down here near the ear that part isn't really gon na be showing. So I don't spend too much time down there, but in the temple area. I do tweeze a lot. It gives a more natural hairline in my opinion, so I'm going to continue to pull out a little bit of baby here across the wig and then continue to tweeze this wig. When I brush out this hair, you can see that a lot of hair is coming out, because I did tweeze a lot. I tweezed a good amount of hair. You can always tweeze more, so you don't want to go overboard, but you know maybe just do a little bit at a time. Go and check do a little bit more at a time until you get it just right and yeah, but you definitely want to make sure that you go through and brush the hair really well, because there there is gon na, be a lot of blue strands that You want to get rid of so after I brushed out the hair. I noticed that I wanted to tweeze a little bit more, so I went ahead and put the clips back in and started tweezing some more once you got the hairline tweeze. Now you can go in with little eyebrow razor and just start making your baby hairs. I like to go ahead and do this before I put the wig on my head and yeah, that is it. I prepped the baby hairs by just spraying, some plain water on it, and then I put a scarf on it. Yes, I put a scarf on my mannequin head. It'S just a lay everything down so that it just makes your application days just so much easier. So I just brush it down with some water and then I put a scarf on it and I applied it on my head in a very quick and easy way, which is a separate video. So if you guys want to check that out and just click on the video right above here and yeah, so if you guys liked this video make sure you give it a thumbs up, make sure to leave some comments down below. And I will see you in my next video bye,

Kim Stanley: Thank you so much for this! Of all the videos I’ve watched to make your own wigs, no one explained how to measure and place the frontal on the mannequin head for a perfect fit. Also, it was genius to mark your mannequin so you never have to worry about how to place and sew the frontal. This makes so much sense and I can’t wait to try it. Thanks so much again!

chatamoment02: This is hands down the best wig making tutorial i have come across. So beginner friendly how you show everything you did from marking the mannequin head to how you pin the cap. Other reviews they'll have prepped something before hand and then just explain it and I'm like no boo I need to SEE everything you did.

Ms. Mommie: Gurrl this video is bomb! I've never seen anyone mark their block like that and I've watched tons of wig making videos. It was very helpful. I see you showing off those one hand sewing skills!! TFS

Leeleesqueezy: I love the long closure wig I brought from you months ago it's amazing and THICKKKK♥️♥️♥️

Renee Gabriel: Hi Jazz, thanks for the reply back on lice and lice nits being found in lace wigs and bundles & closures. I feel you about the paranoia, but all you have to do is before you make your wigs is put your hair in boiling water with conditioner let it sit for about 15 minutes. Comb through with fine tooth comb then shampoo and recondition. Or you can research on YOUTUBE to find lice shampoos. This is what I do

Joy Thomas: Thank you sooo much for this tutorial QUEEN

Mercy Meme: Best tutorials on YouTube as your explanations were detailed. Subscribed already

Destiny Nicole: The hair looks BOMB!

Shanté: The wig looks beautiful

Kristine Myangel: Omg thank you sooo much this is sooo help will definitely use this video for assistance

JoAn McCray-Booker: Love it!! New subbie!

HisBeloved: Can you please do a video that shows the application which really shows how the ear tabs lay on this glueless application wig ?

ThatGirlKay: Hey, since you didn’t attach a elastic band, does the one in the cap ever become loose after so long & will u have to eventually attach a elastic band?

cbbeanwomanofvalue: You have a great voice 4 voiceovers...perfect speed, tone and very clear...btw...congrats on your skin routine victory!!!!...really appreciating your content..

Seona Clarke: AMAZING TUTORIAL!!! SERIOUSLY...

In Your Face!!: Wow you’ve got mad skills! I had left you a comment about the horrible nail salon experience. You can work with your hands! You definitely could learn to do your own acrylic nails. That wig is gorgeous and 100% natural looking

monica johnson: You an Amazing job! And your gorgeous!!

Jadafayez: I agree...very detailed...Thank you

Jane Wright: Wow amazing love it

hairTamedbyTika: Loved it

Angel52: Love it

Alex Knight: Best wig making videos ever so easy

Cheryl Dahl: Very interesting thanks for sharing!

An20 M: This tutorial is good overall but I have questions on the dots , why do the dots matter if you sewed the hair on the wig normal?

Maria Feika: When I make my wigs and cut off the part of the dome cap in front of the frontal my wig has like no grip or tightness to my head without having to add an elastic band. It just sits exactly on my head but it's the tight. Is there any tips for making a wig that stays tight after cutting off the dome cap under the frontal

Pooks: this video is amazing. thank you

Gwendolyn McFoulon: Awesome video!

Ms Black Queen: You sew just like me I love watching you make wigs I want to start making wigs I've only made a couple but I want to be able to make more but the poor the poor got me right now LOL and every time I have it in my mind to buy here or equipment I have to put money towards the living so one day love one day keep doing you and I'll keep watching you

music1slife22: Did you sew through the band when you sew down the frontal?

Bettyboopster53 Black: Must I wash the bundles first?

Starimate: I have longer bundles so do I double the weft and the do the flip over method or do I just do singles?

Amaryllis beauty Thank God: Thanks you just helped me

Whatsupwith torii: Thankx girl!

shalonna fullard: Another huuuge tip. I figured out, making my wigs, shorter thread is better. Using a very long stand of thread is the worst. Back breaking, tangling, knotting!!!

Christina Yarber: Nice very detailed ....Quick question when sewing down the frontal...do you sew through the elastic band or just threw the mesh?

Knowing Terriana: Hopefully the wig I make turn out like yours did lol fingers crossed

Gwendolyn McFoulon: How long did it take for you to make that wig?

Ngozi E: Are your side burns covered in the method?

Coley Ming: Ohhh so helpful

barbie doll official: Amazing

Renee Gabriel: Jazz make sure you check your hair extremely well. A lot of vendors are selling hair with lice and nits(white lice eggs). The nits look like very small pieces of lint but hard to remove by hand. Watched this video and saw small white dot on this hair even though you said you washed it. Please double check your hair!!!!

Safoyaahh: Best Video! Thank You

Udo chukwu: Hi Nicole, What hair did u use? Was it from Aliexpress

Gwendolyn McFoulon: When tweezing the hair, are u plucking the hair out?

Mrs. Covington: Great video

Gwendolyn McFoulon: Hi. I love that hair! You do that so well. I wished I lived near you lol.

Temitope Ayannuga: Thanks so much for this video, what did u use to cut the baby hair like that. It makes it so real and cut it well. Plz what's the name?

Omofa Faith: All I can say is thank you

ThatsSoNij: quick question, if my client is a 22 inch circumference but my wig block is a 23 inch do I just make sure the cap lines exactly w her measurements even if it’s a bigger canvas head ?

kelsey emilie: Where did you purchase the tripod?

Liz lizzy: Wow you are the best of thousands

Dnesha Johnson: the best tutorial i done seen

vivian panek: I just love the way you sewed the tracks. How many bundles did you use?

VanityIsDeadly: I need this, because I got a big ass head and these RTW wigs aren’t big head friendly lol

Cathy Wood: Great comprehensive tutorial but some of the music was driving me a little crazy

Miss Anthropissed: I came here for the glueless application and got wig building instead

Niccey M: Very nice

Breah Saldana: You're good very professional..I'm impressed!!

Su Yeng:

Beans: You don't leave a gap between the frontal and the track? I see everyone do that because it supposedly shows the tracks

undeniably_fabulous: Jazz Ik how to tweeze & where to. But how do ik if I tweezed enough?? Because I know you can over tweeze but I don't want to under tweeze either tho so how do I know it's enough

olumuyiwa egbeyemi: Work on your voice volume i couldn't hear anything, especially why you were tweezing the frony. Why cut of the frontal part of the cap?
