"Island Vibes" Super Natural Kinky Straight Wig Install | Klaiyi Hair

Hey love bugs welcome back to my channel, i'm ashley if you're tuning in for the first time and today i'll be doing this beginner friendly start to finish. Install this here is a vibe look at this hairline now. For me, i know it's cool to have it be neat and all of that, but i, like my hairline to be a little bit broken up just to mimic my natural hairline and what it really looks like a lot of us, especially if you our mom, and We had children and then have suffered from postpartum, hair loss or just aging or whatever heat damage, and your hairline probably isn't like perfectly uniform. So i love how i just did this hairline a little bit and broke it up and made it look so natural and of course it was a breeze, because lace is amazing. She is a kinky straight lace, wig in the length 24 inches, and i know you're thinking like oh heavy density, heavy density. No, this is actually only 150 density. You can see when you shrink it down to size. It'S actually not like this thick heavy monster of hair, it's very very, very easy to manage and tame, because it's not as full as it appears to be. So if you want to go ahead and silk press this hair kind of make it thinner and give like that kinky straight, like so pressed look, you definitely have that option. I kind of keep it big for the boom i'm kind of walking around in a fashion. Over top, that is oversized, so i don't have any bottoms on, and i've been just feeling the vibe of this look today as i've done a high pony. So i'm not going to continue to talk you guys to depth. I'M going to jump right into the video jumping right into it. This is what the wig looks like on my head: it's nice and snug, and it is nice full and beautiful. As always, i'm going to show you a look at the inside construction of the cap as well as a shot of the back. As you guys can see. The eyes are deceiving. This one looks extremely full, almost like huge, but it's only a hundred and fifty percent density, so you will have the option to silk press it if you'd like - and it will just you know, appear a lot more thin. I love it in the big barbell boom. So that's what we're going to be doing today with the half up half down in the meantime in between time. This is what it looks like as a center part. I believe it is four inches of parting space and this is also what it looks like half a pack down. So today i did decide we are going with the half a pack down. Look so let's go ahead and install and style, but first let's go ahead and just tweeze out the hairline just a little bit in the center is where my ponytail is going to sit. So i kind of wanted to make sure it had an uneven natural look. Majority of us, when we push our hair back into a ponytail, it kind of is imperfect, and that is what i want to go after also, i don't have on any lashes, which i apologize for my appearance, but, as you guys can see, my eyes have been Watering, since i did my makeup lately every single time - i do my makeup - this happens so yeah today we're going to be using my edge control from beautypity.com to go ahead and take care of our edges. They need to be just pushed back a little bit so that the install is super neat. Now, let's go ahead and cut off the excess lace, as you guys seen in the beginning, i already cut off the lace around the ears. This is just to make the wig fit from ear to ear, but you also want to cut off the lace around the hairline. Now some people will leave a little extra lace. Some people won't, i like to take it all the way up to the point of where the first strands of hair start. Sometimes you will go into the lace into the hairline, and that is okay. I'M going to take this adhesive. This is a non-glue adhesive from beadagbitty.com and pair it with our melt belt and i'm just going to do a thin amount of the glue or non-glue adhesive along the entire hairline. I love the fact that this is like a thick gel like consistency, so you don't have to worry about it like running down your face or like catching it with a um like a rag or a tissue like with most non-glue adhesives. I'M able to go in and just like work it in how i want and then i will apply the lace on top and it will dry if you take too long. But you also still have enough time to kind of like perfect it and make sure all the hairs are going in the direction you want. Put the you know, lace on top and just kind of work that product in now i went for a super thin amount. Just because i didn't need a lot today, today is kind of like a light day where i'm not leaving the house. But if i was gon na have it on all day - and i was gon na be out and about you know, especially in california, where it's pretty warm - i probably would have done a thicker coat now that it's on and bonded down, it's still wet. So let's go ahead and add our milk belt: this is going to make the lace bond down completely, and so i'm going to leave it on until it dries. So here i'm going to go ahead and start working on the ponytail. As i mentioned you get about. Four inches of parting space going back so, as you guys see here, i'm trying to part it out where i am pulling up as much hair as i can for the ponytail without showing the actual tracks behind this is ideal for a wig. That is maybe six inches of parting space or a full lace wig, but today i'm showing you that you can also make it work with your lace is only four inches back now, i'm going to use our wax stick to go ahead and just form the ponytail And the hair behind, as you guys can see, there is a lot of volume and even though the wig is pretty full, i don't want the hair to kind of like stick up like this. So let's go ahead and use our electric hot comb to kind of lay this down, so that made a huge difference. It looks a lot more sleek with that step, our hairline should be dry, so let's go ahead and remove the mailbelt, and i love love, love. The way the hairline came out, especially since i added a little bit of a touch by tweezing out the hairline i just like that it doesn't look boxy or too perfect. I wanted to mimic what my real hair would look like in a slick back ponytail, which is very uneven, but still very, very nice, so we are gon na do just a little bit of baby hair along the hairline. I did these two little swoops pretty much like above the arch of the eyebrow from there i kind of cut them after i curled them away from the face, i'm going to use our edge control to go in and just slick them down and kind of. Do some cute little baby hair? It'S amazing how trends work a year ago i was not using an electric hot comb or a flat iron to form my baby hair, and now i cannot live without it like baby hair has definitely gone to the next level. With this step, and i'm gon na just add a couple more pieces, i at first just one of those two little pieces, but because we don't have sideburns today i decided to just take it down lower and let the second piece kind of meet where those sideburns Meet i love lately not having sideburns just because typically i'm using a glueless adhesive and i kind of don't like it if i'm out and about and my lace starts to lift. But i also usually want to take my lace wigs off at night time. So just not having those sideburns helps me to be able to have a you know, flawless, slayed lace and look really good unclockable. Don'T have to worry about. You know looking in the mirror and see my lace has lifted and, just being so curious as to how long i've been walking around looking crazy, so i'm going to reapply the melt belt. I really wanted to go ahead and make the hairline look amazing. Now i'm going to put it back on so that i can go ahead and do the ponytail typically, especially if you're not using real glue. You should put something down right before you like pretty much. Do your ponytail just to make sure that if you're really pulling the ponytail super tight, you don't run the risk of lifting your lace now. This is something that i do pretty much all the time, but if, for whatever reason, you can't like put something around like a scarf or a meal, build around just be careful not to like pull your ponytail too tight to where you will lift your lace, because No one wants to have to go back in a second time and redo the lace, so i'm showing you here a bucket of rubber bands. I love these. I think i have a pair in my hair stash downstairs in our downstairs bathroom for the girls hair stash and then back up here in the kids bathroom. I like these, because whenever i'm doing like my hair or the kids care, i can just open it up and i can just go at them opposed to the ones that come in the bag. I don't know just preference, but i'll have mine in the description box from amazon. Now that we have the ponytail done we're going to do a little bit of a finishing ponytail. That always makes your ponytails, even if they're messy it just amps them up and just makes them look more professional and posh. So i just took a very thin piece of the hair from the ponytail sprayed it with the got to be glued spray and then wrapped it around the base of that rubber band. This here, just i don't know in person, attention to detail just makes it look like you really got your hair done opposed to. You know just throwing a scrunchie on now to set the lace off. I want to make sure that it blends best with my complexion. So i'm just going to add a little bit of my maybelline fit me powder along the hairline and a little bit in the parting to just to make sure the lace doesn't look too lacy. Now that we're done with the install, let me show you what came in our packaging. As i mentioned, this is from kawaii hair and they sent over this box with a dust bag. Also, this mesh bag includes our lashes, really nice, a purple pair of hair clips about a four pack, wig caps, as well as a scarf very nice free gift included with your purchase, and this is the final results. Ladies and gentlemen, super beautiful okay, love bugs it's been actually all day. I was super ambitious and i went ahead and filmed this video early in the morning. So when i set my mind or my agenda for what i want to do or how i want my day to go typically, i want to get up. Take my son to school come right back home. Usually the girls are still asleep, and so is my husband. So it's like come home and get straight to work, what's been happening in the last like month or two come home. Give that kid live in, so i'm so proud of myself. This morning i literally took my zoom to my son to school started his school. While i did like um a lot of times i'll sit in the parking lot in his school, like you know no one's in the parking lot, i just like to sit in school and just feel the presence and just be present, even though i know he's safe In class i just sit there. I went through my emails. Came home, didn't drink, anything didn't eat, anything to make coffee just hopped in the shower. Did my whole skincare hygiene, routine toes, were looking really crusty, so i went ahead and removed. My polish for my toes painted them a fresh coat of like a blue going into spring. I did a. I can't even show you guys did a little pastel blue on them really cute. I need to go into the tub tonight and like scrub them callus and all that anyways but yeah. I did my toes put on my moisturize and i said you know. Let me just do my makeup, since i'm here did my makeup and i was like since i'm here: everyone is still asleep, let's go and film and it worked out. Amazing only thing i didn't do was do my intro and outro just because i didn't have one any lashes, so i knew i looked crazy. I didn't want to scare you guys in the intro, but as i mentioned, this one did come from kawaii and you guys seen how beautiful this one was and how easy it was to install. But the great thing about kinky, hair, especially kinky straight hair, is it's very low maintenance. As far as the ends goes, it's all about the lace and how you apply it. But as far as the ends go, you honestly don't have any upkeep. You want to be able to wash and condition your wigs, you know periodically, but you just let them go now. If you really want to do a heat style like one curl that hook like that, you can definitely do that. I typically prefer to keep mine on the straight end. You might even be able to crimp it get a load at the hairline and how beautifully it melts into my natural hairline. You guys seen at the last minute as i installed, i quickly went in it kind of just tweets out the hairline i like for it to be a little bit messy and imperfect, and to me that is what breaks it up and makes it not look too Boxy or too wiggy, it almost gives it a natural vibe, because for majority of us our hairline isn't perfectly straight across or perfectly rounded. You got a little bit of soft spots and this and that especially if you've had kids or you're just aging, they did give me a coupon code. It is my 25.
