So this live is gon na, be a little bit different because i feel like i'm always like um. Creating a unit or finishing up a unit, and i wanted to like focus on cutting a few styles showing new colors. I got ta get this one together, but if you enjoy this color i need you to. Let me know: is this something that you would you know purchase? Would you get your hands on this? I need that in 350, copper, you're speaking my language, denise. So this is athena. This is one of my favorites. You guys show so much love um. I made so much of this that i hurt my hand, but you know we move, and this is a gorgeous 99j. This is what you wear in the fall time like this is her she, the season for her, is coming. So let me just get her look at the bouncy girls. I just love it okay, so i'm gon na cut her because she needs some work, so you can get the full vibe okay, and before i get into this, i wanted to talk to you guys about building your crochet wig kit. Let'S say you're interested in doing this. Let'S say this is something that maybe you like me, you know sometimes, if you want to take a break from lace, frontals, lace, closures, let's, oh a lot of people doing the tape ins and it's eating your hair up right or you want to take a break From what's the other one that they're doing, is it eye tips? It'S the tapings lots of things going on. Let'S say you want to take a break from that, and you guys know i'm on a journey to strengthening my hair and so part of the reason why i got back into the groove of even wearing my units is because it just allows me to give my Hair, a rest, you are literally, you can braid your foundation or you can put it in a ponytail just make sure that it's flat to the head and then, when you put this on new, look every day, new look new way as well. So let me see, let me make sure i'm answering the questions. I'Ve definitely been buying wigs in this brown color. Lately, yes, so copper, i'm gon na take y'all up on that. You said you want to see some copper, okay, the 99 j is timeless and this is the color. If you like, color, i say jump into this because it's subtle enough, but it still makes a bold enough statement and that's what the people need, and this is a color that, regardless, i think people of all ages are down to this color, because it's just it Just works so again, if you watch my previous live this unit, i created it using three different textures, and so, when you're making your units, i invite you to have fun there. Are i mean there are as many limitations as you impose on yourself. I'M telling you because if you want to do something out of the box, please do it. Please do i think one time i made a blue and green wig for someone blue and green listen and they they it looks absolutely gorgeous. So i'm just trying to paint the picture because i have something fun for all of you, like silver, all of you who, like gray, just keep watching just keep watching because i got i got some things coming. Okay, so i feel i feel like she's pretty good. This one is what this is, what i don't know why this side is, but let me fix him, let me bring her down, but let me let me structure this, so this is how do you stop the hair from getting frizzy and matted? So one thing that you guys may not know about me: i have had one of my crochet wigs for like well over two years and i like frizz and i don't mind when it mattes, but it's never like it's. Never like uncontrollable or it like looks. You know, like i haven't, been managing the unit. Well, the best thing to do is take your fingers. You want to pull on the curl, you pull on a curl and then you use your fingers to wrap it around because you want to restore kind of like restore the curl powder. So hopefully you can see this motion. Let me bring it closer, so you have your curls. I want you to take a curl pull it down, so you know try to isolate the rest of the hair, pull this down. You want to separate it because each knot has two different sides in this section. So you want to elongate it wrap it around the finger, let it go, wrap it around the finger, let it go and that's just you know if you find like there's certain areas. Typically, it's in the back, so you know and that's why you guys see me working on a mannequin head which is so important, because this is going to allow you to look at your unit as a whole at a glance and as a whole and just look At the whole, cohesive look so let's say it's getting frizzy in the back now this is a fresh wig, so it's like you know not gon na, be too much matting or barely any frizz, but you go in you isolate the rest of the hair. You separate the section into two add a little weight draw your fingers down, wrap it around your fingers now. Another thing that i want to show you just in case you have some unruly tangles. So what you want to do is go in and you can cut away the frizz okay, so you want to separate the area that might have a little bit of matting. You go in you open it up and you cut away the frizz. You shouldn't be cutting these strands. You want to cut the pieces that come away from the bulk of the strands of the curl pattern. Okay, so that's the focus here and then, if you are cutting away frizz in specific sections, make sure that you fluff your unit. That'S really important, okay, so those are some of my favorite tips but make sure that you take your unit off at night. Unless you know some of y'all want to wear it. You know in the bed. That'S fine! It'S gon na work, but i highly recommend getting like a carrying case. This one is from you know this brand, but i have something linked in the description box. The ones that i have linked in the description box have an actual hanger, so you can hang this up in your closet. You don't have to worry about anything so again, start storing your units in a satin carrying case or a wig carrying case. I have some links in the description box that are really good so and it's good to travel go get some of these because they're really good for travel now. Okay, i do want to back up because i got ahead of myself now, let's say you're, creating your kit and you're getting started, and you want to figure out where to begin in the description box, where everything is listed because i've. Actually, i give you all the key. I don't keep the secrets. Okay, you want to check the description box because i have linked a latch hook set this set includes 10 individual hooks. You get 10 hooks for a dollar, that's a steal that is equivalent to what you get at the beauty supply store. If any of you are familiar with that great price - and you know when you're just starting out, you want tools that are effective and also tools that are effective, but also that can last and latch hooks they last for a pretty long time. I bought one latch hook set and it's been with me, so this isn't the 10 piece set, but i'm just showing you even though they're similar color. They are different sizes when it comes to the latch and the hook size itself. So again, it may not look like a difference based on the color, but there are subtle differences and if you start making wigs that are like a u-part wig, it has like a parting space with a little bit of lace. This is when you need this is when you need the smaller pieces. They sometimes call these knit pickers. These are super small. You see like you, can't even really see the latch hook itself. These are huge, so these are the kind that you need. If you want to make a crochet wig with a lace part, they do offer those okay, they do have those these. You need the smaller ones very, very important, and i also highly recommend that you get a seam ripper a lot of y'all sleep on this. If you are like a seamstress you're into sewing, you know in a sewing kit, with a thread it can come with. One of these i recommend a seam ripper and these tiny scissors, so these are really important because you will find that sometimes you are constructing your unit. You are creating your knots and let's say it's a messy knot and you don't really want that knot to be um it just it just looks unpleasant. It doesn't look like aesthetically pleasing, so you want to remove that knot. So i'm going to show you guys, i'm going to bring it up close so we're on the same page and to help me just like isolate everything so that i can see what i like to do is use alligator clips. I'M always emphasizing the importance of like isolating the area that you want to work on, so that you are, you know, preserving the rest of your unit because you don't want to make a mess. So i'm going to pin this up using an alligator clip. I like to use something really bright, so i just it's no confusion. I know i'm not working on this area, so it gives me like a halt. So let's turn this right here. Let'S say this knot right here is really messy, and it's bothering me okay, if you make a knot and you don't like it, what you want to do you want to cut rick, can y'all see that you want to cut really close to the base of the Knot not too close because you don't want to cut the cap, so i'm going to cut it now. I would save these because you can. You can crochet these into the top part of your wig. So before you start throwing stuff away, keep this. This is product. You can still use don't waste your tools now there's this tiny knot right here and you're like well you're like how can i get this so what you can do now that you have? You have removed the hair and you just have a knot. You go in with your seam ripper and you start loosening up the hair and then just like that. It just comes right out. You see, i just removed the knot and it's like it. Never was there. If y'all have questions, i have basically one child hold up. I have basically encountered every situation possible. So if you have a question, don't ever think it's too silly because i've probably been there before so again. That'S an easy way to remove a knot and preserve the integrity of the cap and, like i said, don't waste the hair that you just removed, because i would take this and crochet it at the top. Give it more fullness and everything yeah get the likes up. People yeah, let's, let's tell them, tell them, tell them tell them. Thank you so much if you're enjoying this live, you let me know by giving it a thumbs up, because that lets me know to keep going. You are so giving with your art. Can you can we get some more thumbs up for pain, giving us this gift? Thank you so much eve. I appreciate that. Thank you. Yes, keep reminding the people. Thank you for sharing. Thank you sheila. Thank you for all. You do. Thank you ether. Oh my gosh. Thank you, okay, so i want to ask kovale. Was that good enough? Was that a close enough angle for you all to see? So let me see. Let me see one second, because i do i'm back okay, let me see so the thing about it is. Thank you adrian, thank you so much and thank you for everybody that hit the thumbs up button once you know, because i love when the community come together. When we talk about preparation organization, i have an entire system and it's color coordinated. That helps to orient me, and you know, to just better stay on track of everything, because one of the things that people you know you can miscalculate and it could mess up your numbers in the end. I need you to know everything. That'S in your inventory, so do you have a dry erase board where you can keep? You know track of every color of every curl of every pattern that you've ever purchased and knowing sometimes i have to pay a little bit more if i'm working with a different vendor. If i'm going to a store on what i will be honest about. Typically, when i'm searching for hair online is always the more affordable option, wig types is kind of changing what they offer. I'Ve noticed. Sam'S beauty is incredibly reliable, like if i be real with y'all. I tell you guys. There are so many ways for you to. You know build up your inventory, so you can save yourself. Some money still hit up a company, the online beauty supply store and try to broker. You know broke up the deal like approach them with the deal talk to them about how you want to possibly promote them, but as a part of this promotion, you want to intake certain inventory and you want to have access to this inventory at your leisure, so That means that me that they give you a credit that they give you a discount code for a particular purchase. But then you got to do a little promotion for them. So keep that in mind. But i want to fill in this space because i don't you know, i'm like that. I just got ta make sure it's full. So again, let me just let me take a little piece. I'M gon na fill it in now when i'm making these units. So i can make like five wigs in no time like and that's what i want you guys to think about. How long does it take you to make a wig right? Okay, because one thing about it, i put on rv linux's new song with summer walker called queen space and i just started making wigs it just works. So i tell you guys all the time about brick layering methods which is really important so that you do not over crowd the cap, because you can shrink the size of your cap, okay, so i'm going to and let me pull this close. That'S i'm real! On top of y'all, let me see i want to go in on one side of the diamond. With my latch hook, open i'm going to insert hair close the latch draw it in the opposite direction: release the latch hook from the hair right, one, i'm gon na secure it once do a little twist at the base, where the knot is going to rest. Bring that section through right, i'm going to start to pull on the length of the hair to tighten it and then i'm going to do one more time and pull on the length of the hair making sure to hold the knot. Please don't just don't just pull your cap hold on to the cap and the knot as you tighten it and i filled up my gap, so i'm good to go. Let'S go okay! Now, let's okay she's been through a lot: okay she's been through her life, okay, so and she wan na stay. Let me see, let me get you together, because you got ta. Look, you got ta look good now. Let me make sure i'm answering the questions. How do you get the exposure and where else can you sell your product? What do you mean by that? I need a little bit more. I need a little clarity with that question like exposure, what do you mean? Let me tell you something: one thing i've noticed and i'm about to give you t people love a full cohesive, look if they can watch you and they can envision themselves replicating or doing something similar to what you're doing when you're sharing your technique, people love that They eat that up because a start to finish is always going to win. I start to finish people full in-depth, looks that's why i'm very calculating when it comes to the entire look, because people are visual and why, when i want people to spend money, i got to make sure that i looked apart or my product looks the part right And again, another thing share your process. What am i doing right now? What do i always do and it doesn't hurt your business? It doesn't take away from anything because you can make money this way and you can make money on your product. You can make money through recommendations, referrals, custom things, listen that limiting mindset we got ta get out of that right. We get out of it. So let me see just beautiful. Thank you. Yes, i'll just be doing one in a prayer. This this way gives you some security to shake it. Yes, yeah show your process like yeah. So again i didn't um. I want to get her looking how she's supposed to be looking. Let me just sing and one of the reasons, so if you can, if for your product, if you can get a mannequin head, i think you should do you need to do makeup on your mannequin head like i do. No, you know i'm a true like artistic person, so i want to express myself in as many facets of my art form as possible, because that it represents more of me and my style, and it just translates um. But one of the reasons why i like working on a mannequin head, so look at this look like me. So the reason why i love working on a mannequin head is because there are like specific, like indicators as far as length, so that you can be consistent, because if you're, making a wig and your bang is by the nose and then your bang is at the Bridge of the nose and then it's above the eyes, you want consistency when people are looking at your work, so they know when you see my wig, i'm trying to show the eyes right. Look at how decorated the eyes are. So this is like an indicator for me of where i want the length of my bang to basically kind of taper off. Okay, and you know what this is: wait till fall. This is it. This is everything, and so yes, central calendar is september 10th. We we will have a moment it's gon na be good, but okay. The next thing i wanted to talk about with cats they're doing something different, so wig caps are super important. This is nice that you're doing yourself. Of course, now listen! Look at this! You see these wig caps, so these are the two new wig caps that are on the market. So look at these. I have them linked in the description box. They do come from. Amazon read the reviews. I didn't purchase these from amazon. I believe i got these from wig types, so jump on over to wig types. If this interests you we're gon na see, because i want feedback from you all, would you actually want a wig constructed on a cap like this because, based on the pictures, these look a little bit different and this wig cap is this light? So, let's get into it so the first cap i'm going to open up is now. This is what they're saying this is the anti-slip crochet cap, okay, and on the back it says one size fits all, so we're gon na see we're gon na see. Now already, i noticed a huge difference: okay, so there's a thick band, you see the thick band, so this is the anti-slip crochet wig cap, which is linked in the description box. So this is a thicker band that spans around the circumference of the unit. But when you flip the cap inside out, you see that shiny part. So this is the shiny part that is supposed to be anti-slip, so you're like who would want to wear a wig cap. Like this, i started receiving inquiry inquiries from people who have no hair. They have ball whether they're bald, whether it's from like premature hair loss alopecia. Maybe it's sparse in certain areas and you don't um and you believe you don't have sufficient hair like for a braided base or a ponytail base. This is something that you might want to make for a customer, a client so that one there's that added security of the anti-slip band around the entire circumference now should i try it on one? You don't want to try to you know so, but let's see so. I have a cap on right, you know, because i don't have no, no, no qualms. So, let's see, let's see what's going on okay, so this is the anti-slip cap. You know what i'm not even gon na hold you. So i have one another wig cap. So i'm taking that into account um. If i could be honest with you, i want to see how this yeah, so it's not going to wear and that's on that. That'S on that and so where i'm really able to test the anti-slip is at the front because - and i have hair on the back, so i'm not really able to tell, but let's say that you don't have hair in those areas. Let'S say you don't have hair in the front or at the nape or along the sides. You still have options, and i really love that they did this so based on this um this this, the anti-slip band, going around she's not going anywhere. But if you have a larger head, it's a little tight. I got ta be honest, and so i think the standard cap size is around 22 22 and a half inches. So that's something to take into account, but these caps can definitely be stretched over time. Okay, so i just put let me so y'all can see like you still get the combs, so you see you still get the combs on the left and right sides as well as at the nape. If you are someone who likes to use the combs, but again this band yeah girl, is this in place. It'S really going to stick. I didn't put makeup on my forehead today because i knew we was getting into it. So look at that. Look get it so very secure and just to show you guys, y'all got me in here with no no wig on okay. Let me get a piece of hair. So, okay, here we go and this works out perfect because it's red so you'll see so i'm about to crochet a piece of hair. So the thing about this cap - okay - and i'm actually not going to use this latch hook because it's a little too big when i'm working in the area of the band. So what i'm going to do is switch to here we go, i'm going to switch to a slightly smaller and let me show you the comparison. Look at that look at the difference. You see that let me just get a close-up, so you can see. Look at the difference so here is the difference in the latch hook, size which is considerable when you're thinking about constructing your unit. So i'm going to use the smaller one and i'm going to try to figure out the motion you know like so okay, so i'm in i'm in there y'all see that so i'm able to get through okay, so i um my latch hook is through and i'm Going to insert some hair into the hook, i'm about to get to the questions in a minute, but i just want to see if i can do this: okay, we did it so here we go, and this is my first time doing this, so we're experimenting together. So i have the hair attached. You know what i'm gon na show you the right way, because i'm not at the base of the band, so i need to get lower okay because, okay, so here we go, let me see we got enough light. Okay, so right here at the base, make sure you're only going through one line, so you're going to the side of a diamond i'm going to insert the hair into the latch hook. Close it drag it through because i want it to be as close to the bottom of this band, because if we can conceal this band, where we're in make sure i get that thumbs up because first of all, i'm gon na wiggle, i don't know we're going And i'm giving y'all t let's, let's do one, i'm gon na turn that knot and let's, let's see, let's see, let's see so you know what yeah this is gon na work. Now this is a bulkier piece which i would not advise. I want y'all to split the hair before you insert it now. Let'S see, let's see how easy i can take this out, so i'm about to remove this, so i want to remove it. Remember you don't want to get too close to the knot just a little bit away from it. Okay and i'm using the small scissors. I have these linked in the description box. These are excellent. Y'All need to please you know, and i'm going to use the seam ripper to loosen up the knot. This is the same ripper that i'm using. Oh, you see that. Can you see how i took that right out, i'm going to try it with a smaller piece. Let me make sure i'm answering the questions thanks for pulling the wig off good evening, how you doing oh wow, you're, really giving me life right now. This is exciting to me. I love we have another cat. We want to test out too. So we're going to see now this is the size section, i'm going to be crocheting in so much thinner. You know what see if i use the real tiny latch hook, let's see where that's going to take us because see yeah, so i'm going to go through one edge of the diamond using a super tiny latch hook. You see that i can even i'm going to close that latch hook and draw it through making sure to maintain that loop, and then i just wanna, you know turn that knot yeah. This is how you, this, how you do it. This is how you do it. If you are gon na crochet in around the circumference like of this band, i need you to use smaller pieces and that's why i need you to drop down into that description box and get your 10 piece latch hook set, because this is the size that i Would use around the very base of this cap because see when the wind blow you cover? That'S i'm looking so crazy, but when the wind blows. This is why you want hair at the base of this band. So when the wind blows you're not exposed so you're getting consistent, color all around, you know what i'm saying works. Well, so again, this is the anti-slip crochet cap. Again. The difference between this cap is the construction. So you have a thicker elastic band. So it's going to be a little bit tighter, i'm going to be honest with you 23. I got about a 23 and a half inch head. It'S a little tight and i my hair. I do so i do have hair so i'm taking that into account. It'S a little tight if you have a low cut, if you, if you have a little cut, if you you know, are experiencing premature hair loss, maybe you have like sparse hair at the crown. Maybe at the nape you got options so look yeah. This is it. Do you do the bricklaying method doing the front of the wig? Also? Yes, yes, all around so again, just keep in mind. This is the cap that we are talking about. This is the anti-slip now the next cap, so this is the next one make your own wig. This is the q fit. This is extra large, so the for the for the for the folks out there with the larger head. I made you to tap it now. How do we feel about the color of the crochet cap? What'S that doing for us? What'S that doing for us so yeah, it's really it's a nude cap. Oh, it does feel a little bit good hold up. Oh, this is big. This is big. This is big. Even for me, this is big even from my head, but look at this band, so i'm not a fan. I'M gon na tell you right right right, i don't know either off rip. Is that the only color for this cat? That'S what it's looking like? I don't really like this one [ __ ]. I got ta turn this one up anyway. That is huge. Sorry, yes, okay! This is really big. Okay and the cap color is giving cash for different ghosts yeah. It'S definitely i don't know why they did this. So if i can be real with you, you know what you know what color i would use this for. I would use this for blonde when you're, making blind wigs, because you it it'll go a little bit better. Think about how you have like a 613 wig and it's usually the um. The cap is light all around. So that's what i'm thinking this is more more appropriate. Now here's the t now i might come back and do this because you know i'm always thinking you can dye this. If it's fabric you can dye it right. That'S where i'm at you can dye this and you can dye this any color. So let's say you want a wig, that's the color number four boom dye. This, let's say if you want a wig, that's copper, right, a deep, copper kind of auburn copper, giving a very much scissor kind of look. This is it diet go. I would probably try rit dye something like that. I would i i would definitely try it, but it's a little too big. I would use this when i'm making like the color 27, maybe even color number 30, but this band is just too much. So if you want my honest expertise, opinions, i think we got ta dye this using some rit dye. Okay, let me just backtrack, so this is an extra large. This is an extra large crochet. Wig cap. I don't like the color, it's very much clockable, but this is a. This is a cap that you could use for colors like synthetic number, 27 synthetic color 30, because those are lighter, color hair and it might go just a little bit better. But let's say you have darker hair, but you don't quite want black. I would get rip dye right, take some rit dot and i mean i would get it a nice really intense color buy, like maybe one two bottles, don't use too much water, because i want a very high, highly concentrated solution, so i can get the best color Payoff - and i would just throw this in there and i know it's gon na turn - i know it's gon na turn. I might try to do this. My complexion, so yes, oh and if you're tuning in, if you have not hit the thumbs up button, make sure you do. You know i'm in here with no wig what we real close. Okay, we go so um. Let me see, let me see where is my where's, what i was wearing? I had a wig on when we started. Let me see, let me put on you see you see how quick you get yourself together. Somebody just knocked on your door, i'm like who is this. I was not expecting company, you didn't call first right boom and you're ready, yeah. That'S a great idea for bright color crochet, wigs that you want to do yes, yes, hooray ready for spring yep blonde or burnt orange hair yup! That'S a good um! Knickknack yep yep 613! Here! Does this? Have the anti-slip? Can you color it so just okay? So i can show you guys both of these caps. Let me cut this off, so here we go. So this is the anti-slip cap. I did not see it in a lighter color. The black is the only one that has this strip, so the band on okay. So let me show you the band, so the band on the anti slip is a little bit wider. I still don't like this, but that's just me being they could have, did something a little bit better, because is this being the same yeah? This band is slightly larger than this one see. I know i know, let me where's the clip hey. Oh here we go so yes, this is the standard crochet wig cap. I have the standard one and i've annotated it as standard. So let me bring this forward. So this is the width of the standard band for the crochet cap. Look at this! It'S like ever. It'S like slightly thicker, so y'all can see slightly thicker bands yeah, but let me put it on the canvas blockhead because you know it might now again. I always tell you guys to get a mannequin head if you can and get a canvas blackhead, they serve different purposes. I do not construct wigs on the mannequin head. I construct links on canvas block heads. My canvas blackhead is 23 inches. The great thing about when you get a cap, that's 23 inches. Even if you have a head sized head circumference of like 20 to 22 and a half the great thing is you give your cap a little bit of stretch, which is never a bad thing, especially if you have braids. If your hair is a little bit bulky, let's say you just did a low ponytail. So again you don't always have to get your head circumference size for your canvas blackhead. You can go up and i think they make them larger than 23.. So i'm gon na take this off me see. So this is the canvas blackhead. Let'S get her. Let'S pick it up all right, so this is pretty cool and, like again, you can see like the curvature in the the blackhead very well made highly recommend. I have several of these. I have it linked in the description box. It is worth it because it's gon na last, you um. If you can purchase more than one for your crochet wig kit. I think that is a great option, just so that you have one for your own personal use, one that you use for clients, customers, etcetera now this doesn't have any columns, that's something i just real. There'S no columns y'all, nothing, no comms, no, nothing! This is interesting. That they did that and i'm guessing. This is the front. So, okay, so there's two different size holes, so the smaller holes are here and then the larger holes are on the left and right sides and from the crown backward thank you for being so transparent. Yes yeah this is, this is not good. This is so. Let me just see how it looks i mean i it's just too big. Like i mean who just did anybody ask for this? You know in product development. Typically, what in consulting there's a need? You know what i'm saying. I understand that there's a need, but like who said it was supposed to be this big. You know this is a little big yeah and it's not the it's, not the most well-constructed cat. Very interesting, very interesting. Did anybody who asked for that like did somebody ask for this, because you're gon na get a little bit better, but this is the t, so shake n go is the number one for crochet wig caps they and their patent? You know they're, they have a patent for it, they have a really good product and they consistently develop it um, and i like that they are, they did the silicone strip for the anti-slip crochet cap. This one is by q fit. This is what you see a lot of times in the beauty supply store. It may be a little bit more inexpensive um, but it may not be as well made as your standard crochet cap by freetress and again freetress shake and go offers. The better crochet, wig caps. So again, cute fit is a contender, but as far as quality, i'm gon na go with freetress. So yeah. I don't really like this, but i might dye it and here's the thing. Let'S say you're, just starting out. This might be a good cap for you to practice on, because it's larger, so let's say you you're, typically prone to shrinking your cap. You might want to get this because if you, you know, make a few errors, you still have room. Your cap still has give and you still might be able to fit it. So, even if you shrink it a little bit, you got options. Let me see, yes, i hate the combs, they give me a headache and i lose hair with them. Oh, okay, okay. Okay, let me let me see so i'm going to show you one more cap. So another reason, one of the reasons why i tell you guys to get a seam ripper. If you don't like your combs, so the anti-slip crochet cap, much like the standard cap, it comes with two combs on the left and right sides, as well as at the nape um, hooray ready for spring. Yes, the extra large cap by q fit is is i would, i would highly recommend it for beginners because, let's say you're prone to messing up, you have a little bit more room and it'll still, it typically will still fit you and then, if you find that It'S too large, you can still crochet more pieces in or crochet like two diamonds together, so that you can shrink it to make it fit. So, let's you get a seam ripper to remove the combs. I keep coming back to the seam ripper because it's important, i need you to. If you don't have your tools, your whole wig making experience. You may not optimize it. You know what i'm saying. So we want optimal results, so you make sure you've got all the things. So i'm about to. Let'S see you just follow the thread, so let me get out there, so this cap there's thread all across this comb. So what you want to do is take the sharp edge and bring it through the thread because you just want to remove it so yeah. I'Ve shown how to do this in video so definitely check that out, but yeah. Now this is one more cap. This is really important. This is for people who want a little bit more breathing room. This is the oval part crochet wig cap. This is been around for a while. So with this cap, the elastic band is made similar to the band for the anti-slip cap. So you're going to have crochet holes all around the circumference in the the edge of the band okay. So let's take you off all right, okay, and what i want to you see this so for the the oval part, there are two strands. It looks like, like see-through thread that they've used to hold it in place. While you are constructing your unit, i would say: don't cut those until the very end, so this has combs around the oval opening. Let me put this in. Oh, let's see: okay, oh wait! I have it inside out. Let me do it okay, so this this is. This is really good so who who would use something like this? Now i've done this in the past. So let's say you want like a braidless crochet look. This is perfect because this allows you to have an opening where your hair shows, and it just looks a little bit more realistic. You don't have the bulky band around near or around your hairline. So again, you see more of your hair and you can crochet and connect the wig cap to your braided foundation or ponytail foundation and it'll stay in place. I have done tutorials with this same results, great for braidless crochet, and if you do, if you're comfortable with your hair near your perimeter being shown so yeah, you know a lot of cats but yeah now, i'm about to i want to see. I want to stop. I want to um, i want us to style all right, so i have now everybody's been asking for this color. They said we want silver, we want silver, we want like gray, so i'm not surprised because you know how to listen. I want to see how this looks. You know. Oh, let's see. Okay, now i got ta get her together because you know she's not um: okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, so i told now, first of all, i just got ta give a shout out because this color, so i'm going to be styling her in front of you All so you can, you can get the vibes um again, if you feeling this. Let me know by hitting that thumbs up button but, like i said i like to style and cut my units on the mannequin head, because there are certain indicators, certain markers where i know where the length is perfect and it's going to be cohesive. With all of my units, and so what i'm going to do, i like to separate the hair, so there is a seam so when you're making your crochet wigs, there's a seam. So i like to keep that hair everything that is to the right of the seam. That'S in the bang, i'm gon na keep that there's another seam on this side. I'M gon na take the hair to the left of the seam and i'm going to gather it in the center, and i just like to hold this in the middle because i don't want it to get mixed up now. Oh, yes, silver great is needed for all the glamour, the glam eyes. Yes, what's up with the glam, my life are y'all doing so um. What i found is the reason why i'm telling you about the mannequin head is because the just the length the length of the neck right is really important, because i find that when i'm trimming it in the area around the neck, it lays it lays perfect. Like you, don't think you get a perfect cohesive kind of look, so i use that as a guide, and i want to trim this up and the great thing about this is: i don't have to cut too much length but and again start with curly textures. That'S why i keep showing curly textures, because if you want to improve on your cutting and just understanding how like how to cut your curly units, this is a great uh. This is just a great tool and again you want a nice clean line across the back. I always cut a little bit at a time because it's better to have too much than too little, because if you cut too much hair, then sometimes you have to crochet in more hair to make up. For you know that lack of length, let me make sure i'm answering the questions, can you crochet straight hair girl? I re crocheting straight hair on live, will probably never happen. That takes a lot of work. It takes a lot of work. Girl crocheting straight hair on live y'all, probably be tuned in. For that too, i might try it. I might try it. Thank you for the request. But again i wouldn't crochet the whole thing it would be like i got like five pieces left because it's a lot of work. Oh, let me okay, i'm just trying to shake shake the hair, so you can see what's out of place. You know what i'm saying. Okay, let me see, are you from brooklyn? No, how do i give off brooklyn tease, everybody know i'm a jersey, crow yeah. I wouldn't claim brooklyn no shade like, like you know. If i was friendly, i would say it, but no, i'm a jersey girl. Now let me see what curl pattern was the red wig. So that's what i listed it in the description box, so you can like. You, can go ahead and check the description box. It'S all there um it's like fluffy, one curl ringlet, one curl and one other one, but i know i linked it and just check my last crochet live because i talk. I show everything up close so check that last crochet live for the details. What products do you use on your curly? Wigs? Are you talking about curly synthetic wigs because for synthetic wigs i don't use product, it's really not necessary using product one synthetic hair. I don't recommend really. If you have to the only thing i would do is mousse, but for my curly human hair, wigs all see products, suave products and mark anthony products are great. Those are my top products. Now i'm going to focus on cutting the bang, so remember i told you guys when i cut the hair, i like it to show the eyes, so i'm going to cut a little less than what i need to, because it's better to cut a little less than Too much right, so i just and i like to cut upward like we'll cut down cut down cut down. Okay, i'm cutting okay. So i see i wanna i'll see i like that: okay, okay, okay! Yes, this is a beautiful color like because you know you know how you're looking for a gray, that's soft like just, and it looks like it's getting a little bit like blue in it, like some blue undertones. I, like that okay yeah okay, here we go. Okay! Okay, how do we feel, let me see, let's come together very nicely. Oh goodnight zen zenko have a good night. Oh no! No! You know what i you know what i might do a straight crochet, it's probably time, that's probably time or do a human hair, crochet wig girl. First of all, it's definitely going to be expensive. That'S not something i'm sure i would sell, because you know it's going to be. You got to make a profit. You know we selling something. We got to make a profit. How much does it cost you to make that wig and what's going to be your profit? You know you got to think about the profit, because, if you're not making anything based on what you selling you got, you got to rethink the numbers. Okay, you know. I have oh because sometimes you got to play with her like, even because you might want to concentrate her on one side, a little bit more. So she could. You know what i'm saying all right just give her a vibe. You see them give her. You know fix her up. Let me just i give her a one yeah that looks good. So again we had a time. I'Ma fix this, though okay, yes, okay, so yeah any like other questions, um, yes yeah! This looks yeah i feel like this would be good. Yes, and thank you guys for tuning in this one was a little bit different because sometimes it's about the technique right, we got ta. We got ta. Also talk about troubleshoot. When you run into you, know issues. How do you fix them? Okay, i'm just styling. Some hair at this point, do you like this color is this for you? Would you wear this because one thing about it, i i i'm giving y'all color. That'S it: okay! Okay! Let me let me get out of that. Well, okay. I truly appreciate you sharing your skills. Thank you so much. Thank you so much! Yes. Now again, i just like to separate out the bang so important, okay, separate out the bang. Take this. I love this color. It might look cute on me. That'S all me right. There, yes, so this is the color 27 just to give you guys a reference. Color 27 extra gorgeous constructed on the standard wig cap. So let me do just like: yes, okay, it was giving very much fall favorite! Yes, if some of you guys have like sent me photos of you making your wigs like and you slaying in them, that's cute that that does it. For me, i love that that's cute love that okay, let's see, let's see, let's see i'm trying to see. I just showed y'all a couple of colors yeah. This color is like everything, wow looks so good, so let me see i'm gon na cut around the chin. Let me see oh wait. She'S coming this is. This is serious. This is serious right here and i'm cutting with hair shears, let's slow down on the the craft scissors. You know what i'm saying the kitchen scissors y'all be cutting the wig, the kitchen expenses. I mean use what you can, but if you can help it get some hair, shears, there's so much sharper cleaner cut. You don't have to worry about it. Okay, let me see, i will always appreciate you appreciate, seeing just like. Yes, thank you so much gladys. Thank you boo. I appreciate you and thank you for tuning in coming through. That'S my sis right here. Okay, let me see yes, that's my favorite color. Yes, i use my medical scissors for surgery. Yeah, i mean use what you can. You know use what you can do. Okay, this is nice. Yes, this is this. Is it for me? That'S really it for me, like look with the lipstick too. Oh, it's really different. Oh, come on. I like this. Yes, okay, yeah she's living it's giving. Can you try one the black and gray okay? Yes, y'all just want me to take this wig off y'all want to see me with no wig, okay, okay! So just a reminder. Let'S say you first get your wig and you're like which way am i supposed to learn? So there will be a tag? Sometimes it's trimmed in half, but this is where you start. You locate the back of your cap. You want to line that up with the nape at you know of your neck, so line it up at the nape of the neck. Okay, oh, let me get myself together. Y'All make me change my hoops like. Let me okay, let's, let's, let's fix the uh. Let me get the because this is when you make final touches. So, first of all, let me try to get some y'all, maybe get some silver earrings. So, okay, it doesn't. You know you know that the color right here is messing it up. But imagine if i had on some gray some silver. I think this is this is on point. This is not my color, you know i don't typically see. If i can oh something new, you know you have to bring. I feel the vibes okay wow. This is kind of a look. This is definitely accessorize. The look because sometimes you just you just need a little some extra. So yes, this is, this is gorgeous. Do you want to see the 27 on me and, like i said, let's say you get it and you want to trim it and like wear it so that it like it's like this like, so you can kind of turn it. Maybe you want to concentrate the color more on one side: let's leave it like this. Come on school teacher, no yeah! This is good yeah. This is this girl. This works okay, the red one. Let me try this one on okay, locating the back, so this is the 27 blonde is very much giving yeah girl. She, oh yeah, and always shake here. You know shake her out because we want to make sure we get. Oh amazing, okay, let me see. Sometimes you pull them okay and the things i'm doing like the minor adjustments i'm making. This is completely normal. When you get a unit you, you know what i'm saying. Oh minor adjustments are very normal. You know what i'm saying yeah this is this. Is it yeah? You got ta, it works whatever. Let me see. I got this like of two caps on them: yeah, oh yeah, yeah. It brings out the face, so this one. I was experimenting with some curl patterns here, so i'm just seeing how it's flowing she said. This is great for a day at the pumpkin patch sipping apple cider, with the family. Okay, this will look good, that's the vibe. Let'S try on red whoa yeah this one, definitely a little bit more hair, more more balls. Yeah know this is just my color. That'S my color, oh this is it oh. Yes, we love yeah. This is cute a little bit more volume on this one, tighter curls in certain areas. Again, this has three different curl patterns yeah. This is this it. Yes, i wanted to give you guys options with the color, because you know there's so much you could do. Y'All got my head wrapping here. I would have showed you how to you could wear this into a head wrap. This season is coming to do it yeah, but this you know you could tell i cut this one for me, like you know you better rock my favorite color, you know i had to i had to i had to yeah. This is how i would do this. All of these with this orange yes, but thank you so much to everyone who came through. Oh this isn't now. This is very much give me shaka khan, oh yes, oh shakka!
