Trying A Glueless, Capless Wig Install...Will It Work? Ft. Lumiere Hair

This is why i don't wear lace, front wigs, y'all, i'm like so serious. It'S like i can never get mine to look like how everybody else looks, and i just want my hair to look cute too and look. Oh. I am going to be installing this wig right here with no wig cap no glue just the wig, and this got to be free spray. Y'All not gon na lie. I'M a little nervous about this, install i'm not sure how it's gon na turn out, but we gon na pray. So the wig that i'm installing today is a wig sent to me by lumiere hair. This is the brazilian loose deep wig. All the information for this hair will be in the description box below the way this wig is constructed. Is it's lace in the front like this there's two combs on each side right here? There'S some lace in the back. Also, so if you want to make like a full ponytail like you can, and then there's also a clip right here and there are two of the little little adjusters to make it tighter, let's go ahead and get started. So the first thing that i'm doing is just slicking back my edges and honestly, what made me want to try? This is because my hairline is a little funky like if you see right here it goes like in and then it comes all the way out. Like almost to my eyebrow and then it goes back in, but when i use a wig cap, sometimes the wig cap like like for it to cover all of my hair. The wig cap would like have to come right here and then by that point the wig is like right next to my eyebrows and that kind of it just it never worked out right. For me, the next thing that i'm going to do is i'm taking my makeup, which is the l'oreal true match. This is some old makeup that i've had for a little minute. I really don't use it anymore, but i'm using this to go in and like still color the inside of my wig okay, so i just got finished putting the makeup on the wig. I put it all in the front, and then i even put it in here a little bit in case there's some style like in case. I want to do like a deep part in this hair. When i part it, i'm hoping that this will help it. Not look like hair and help it look more like scalp, i'm going to try it on first just to see how how it fits and, if i feel like, i need to make it smaller. This wig actually fits pretty well without all of that. Okay. So this is what the wig looks like. It looks ashy right now, because i put way too much powder in here. I think i was trying to over compensate for the fact that i didn't have um a wig cap on, but you know you don't need to put that much honestly. You can clean this up in the front with some water. I'M not worried about that right now. I think i'm ready to go ahead and make this permanent and install it. So first, i'm just going through and cutting my lace in the three sections. Only because that's what i see other youtubers do so i figured i'd. Do the same thing. It'S not that i necessarily you know, know what i'm doing or anything, and i also wound up doing about like one or two layers max of the free spray. I initially tried to do like three and it got like super cakey and i had to take the wig off and start over and you don't want to do that. So don't you know use too much spray. Now that that is on. I can go ahead and cut off this access lace. I can see all of the freaking hairspray like right here, so i'm gon na have to fix that so yeah, that's kind of what i was talking about um with the lace. So i did wind up having to take the wig off after this, but i cut that part out and um reapply it now, i'm just going through and cutting out the baby hairs of the wig y'all, i'm terrible at wig baby hairs, i'm not even gon na Lie, i don't know what it is, i'm not good at it, but i did what i could so i decided to go ahead and give this hair a side part. I kind of feel like the side. Part was kind of already carved out in the wig anyway, but it's fine, because i really like how it looks with the side part and now i'm just spraying some water on it just to get an idea of what the curls look like. But i honestly prefer this hair dry and poofy, but it's cute anyway. The curl pattern is so pretty so and now, as you can see, i'm just taking some of my concealer and making the part just more prominent and making it blend a little bit more. With my hairline and then i'm just going through with an eyeliner marker um, because i kind of over plucked the part a little bit right in that little spot, so i'm just covering it up with some black eyeliner, and here i just decided that the swoop would Look a lot better to me going in the opposite direction, so i'm just fixing that and then i have my real hair down here. There we go now we got this dry. I absolutely love this hair like no. I really really love this hair like this is probably my new favorite wig. I'M not gon na lie like even though i messed it up i'll, probably wear it again. No i'm definitely wearing it again. I'M gon na take some of this. Put it up here, and this hair is just so pretty it's so lightweight, i'm not sure what length this is. I think this is a 24 inch. I definitely think this is a 24 inch yeah, but again i'll have all the information in the description box below for sure um. It'S so pretty. It'S so lightweight! I don't know. I just love this hair. I really love the curl pattern. I love thick curls like this, like this like thick, deep curls. This is my favorite type of curl. It'S just so pretty and i absolutely love the length i like that. It'S not too long. It'S not too short. Let me trim the ends or anything, i'm just going to trim the ends a little bit aside from that. This hair is gorgeous. You can wear it like. You, don't have to wear it poofy. I just personally prefer it poopy, but you can definitely like get some mousse and put on it. Actually i just put some of this on it for the hell of it. But honestly i prefer the poofy look just to give me that, like soft curl, i love how full it looks. It just looks nice and fluffy. Let me show you the back. Oh, my chair is in the way i'm sorry hold on okay but yeah. That'S the back of this hair. This is gorgeous. I can't stop looking at myself, so moral of the story is: can you install a lace wig without a wig cap? Absolutely you definitely can install a lace wig without a wig cap. Do i recommend it probably not um? I just feel like. If i would have had the cap, it would have probably blended a little bit better going from my hair to the rest, which is the purpose of it um. I don't believe it'll take out your hair. Any more than using this directly with the wig wheel. Do you know what i'm saying so i think that's just a myth. If you don't want to use a wig cap, you definitely don't have to it's a preference. So i just wanted to test that theory out, but either way the install came out cute. It just took a lot of finessing um, but after i was able to get it to how i want it, um i'm definitely satisfied with it. So that's it for this video. Thank you guys so much for watching.
