Patti shows you how to go from Costco to the cocktail party in the same wig. A little emergency styling it all it takes! She also shows how to use It Stays, the easy to use wig adhesive.

Patti is wearing Voltage by Raquel Welch in R6/30H Chocolate Copper. The blonde wig is good ol' Julianne by Jon Renau in 12FS8 Shaded Praline.

Hi guys this is patty again four wings by Patti's curls. Today I want to show you some tips and tricks on how to take that one way you've got and make it look different for the holidays, maybe you're going to a party here for Christmas Eve. You want a little more casual and for New Year's Eve, you want it a little more sexy. Why not? So I'm going to show you the first thing that you really do need to do and that is to somehow adhere to your head, the wig, because I'm going to be working it and so forth. If you put it on your head, if you got a Styrofoam head now, somebody else you can work on that's great, but what I really want you to do is try to put it on yourself now. The first thing I'm going to do is I love. It stays it's um, all these big, big words safe for you. It comes off with cold water, it doesn't lift off your hair, it doesn't lift off your skin, but yet it stays and I'm going to show you how it's like a roll-on deodorant or something - and I roll it on my head and if you do have little Bitty hairs, you can roll it back like that and it will even hold you hold your hair back. Then I put a little bit in the back at Mike's interval. Now I'm going to put my little wig on this is voltage by crack elbow now I get it to where my my temple tabs are here even like a stick going through my head. I take it up to my hairline four fingers from my eyebrow bone and then I take it back here to my occipital bone and I go hit hit our press press through the hair babe because you don't repress the hair down through the hair. Let it dry boo, make sure your little stays are straight and straight. This is six thirty copper mahogany, I believe in Raquel's. So now and of course this is my little julienne and shaded pre mean put that over there. Now we've got it here to stays and pressing it down and then like. If you even go to the bathroom while you're at a party or something you can refresh it just by lifting it up and putting some more on or just give it a little wet and it'll go right back. Alright, here we go. I want you to watch know you can dance all night and I have to worry about it coming alright. So when I storm I get stays. I turn it on turn the lid on and I store it upside down and that keeps the bowl constantly wet. So the only thing that I'm really showing you here is I've got the wig on now I'm going to try some stuff. I hold my one day and I brush and I'm brush. Now, if you've had your wig customized by us, our by me, you actually pull your hair out. Remember those little bitty angel hairs that we cut, and now you want to make it more straight. You'Re, going behind your ears and you're going to have maybe go to Costco and buy all your props, Am's or whatever by your presence and buy your food, so you've got a busy day, so you put it behind your ears, you put your little glasses on and You just go shop, a little heart out boom; okay, so now your husband's called and he's bringing friends over set of cocktails, and maybe a little hors d'oeuvre. You didn't know anything about this, so while your cos goes to do you buy a bunch of hors, d'oeuvres buy little wine head home, you don't have time for a shower you're, just going to put something cute on the black pants little velvet, whatever and you're, going To do something to your hair, what are you going to do? Alright, when the wig is made the curl pattern, the silhouette, anything that has to do with the style of the way the feel of the wig is at the base of the hair? That'S where they put the the teasing, that's where they put the steam, sometimes it'll, be a little crimped. What I want you to do is that's where your little fingers are going to go in order to make it different now, a lot of times before you put it on, and you want it crazy. Remember how I trying to shake the tar out of it. Well, I got it on, I don't have time to redo it, so I'm going to go like this. Shake shake, shake shake, shake shake shake shake now. I'Ve got it sticking out and it's kind of crazy and I'm going to take either of my hairspray, which brushes out or even water and I'm going to spritz it into my fingers, are into the base of the wig. In other words, I'm not going to go like this. I'M going to go like this, lift it up in there, lift it up in there, lift it up or the easiest way seriously. Is I get in front of the bathroom sink? I spritz it on my hand, see my fingers like ugly little hands and that's a lot of them. So I go like this. Then I go up under I'm at the base of the wig. I can feel my head. I can feel the base of the wig. I'M going to go Circle, Circle, Circle, pinch, Circle, Circle, Circle, pinch, Circle, Circle, pinch, pinch pinch and what I'm doing is I'm effecting the wig by using my fingers and my spread. If I need more I'll use more sand, put a lot on that hand and then see how I'm squeezing it at the base base. Then you want your little hairs to come out. Then I'm going to slice my back because I got great earrings to put on like that and because you've had your little hairs cut, not that there - and I am here - I need a little poof, so I'm gon na go like that. Not on the talk. I don't want to weigh it down, but inside now you've got it somewhat cute. Well, that's kind of sexy huh! Okay now boom my mascara on put a little darker, lipstick on add a little Rouge, and if you got a little fairy dust, throw it on you and throw it around. The house have a great night enjoy your holidays, have fun and I'll see you soon. Bye,

I have to tell you, not only did I learn how to do that, I found ways to do all kinds of things to make them look "hot & sexy." I am 63 and disabled and am just discovering wigs. I kinda went nuts and have 6 already! Having said that, you are just a wonderful, delightful woman with a sparkling personality. Sometimes I have to smack myself to stay engaged in tutorial videos. Not here! You are just a joy to watch! I have always used my hairstyles as an expression of that somewhat rebellious and edgy personality and when I became ill, I just sort of gave up. You have inspired me to step up, step out, and enjoy myself again. Keep the videos coming and thank you so much for reminding me that I need to keep that spring in my step . Well, maybe not my step but still in my heart!
