Welcome back to my channel, i am kengonyama popularly known as k yarms, if you're new here, a very warm welcome to you. I do hope you stay and subscribe and join my community if you're a returning subscriber welcome back. I really hope you enjoyed this video. This was a semi highly requested video on my instagram, because i've just recently found a new way to lay my wigs, and i just decided to film this video to show you and share with you guys a few tips and tricks on how to get a flawless Sort of lace install bear in mind. I am not a professional, so do take everything. I say with a pinch of salt. I will share in the description box a few of the videos that help me learn how to customize wipe my wig, and i will just show you a few of the tips and tricks that i have learned along the way. So i'm going to be showing you how to do that in this tutorial. I'Ve also decided to do a quick little makeup tutorial of this gorgeous face bead. So if you are interested, please continue watching this video and i'll see you in my next video just to give you a few details about this hair. This hair is a 26 inch mongolian water wave curl. It comes in a 13 by 4 closure, which means it's just an ear to ear closure and it's not a whole 360 closure, which means you can't really tie it up. It came sort of pre-customized, but i specifically asked them not to pluck it too much just because in the last week i got from them. I felt like it was plugged way too much and i just couldn't sort of control. How i could i couldn't control if it comes plucked to a minimal, and then i just do the plucking at home, i'll, try and link in the description box a few of the videos that really helped me learn how to pluck my own wig bleach, my knot, Which is what i did prior to this wig, but i will show you how i cut the lace and lay the wig just in general, because i feel like it's really really important, to cut the lace properly. To give you a natural sort of finish. Whatever happens is meant to be, then you'll. Ask me what is wrong and i don't even know what the answer our is. So this is your now customized lace, i'm going to be using this um eyebrow razor to cut this wig just because that helps me get like a jagged and not so straight um ending on my wig, which makes it look a lot more natural. So i'm just going to start from the end like this. It usually helps if you've got someone, that's helping you to do this, but if you don't, then i would suggest just placing it on the surface like so and just getting right into it. This really really helps because when you use scissors, you get like a very straight sort of um line, whereas when you're using a razor you get a more like jagged sort of it helps make it look a lot more natural. Let me just show you real, quick, you're, literally cutting in this way and that's how your laces yeah, i know what we said. I still think we should figure it out. Okay, so i know it looks a little crazy and a little chewed up and stuff, but trust me this is how it is supposed to look um. It just looks a lot more natural. This way, obviously, you can snip off these like really awkward looking pieces, but it just looks more natural when you've cut it like this. That looks a lot better. That is how it would look on my head. I'M just going to pull it forward. Just so i'm able to cut the size of this wig, so it fits me a lot better than it does now. I don't think it fits too bad, but i guess it could use a little bit of snipping and it goes around my ear and i'm just gon na cut around. It helps to flip it over in that way. So you can see exactly what you're doing. Okay. So that should now fit around my ear like that, and that really just helps um in terms of your edges. Lifting you'll find that when you've done it that this way, your edges won't lift anymore. So i'm going to clip this hair back just so. I don't have it all over my face, while i'm trying to lay it down. I'M gon na moisturize, my lips, i'm using the elizabeth arden eight hour cream lip protectant. This is my favorite go-to lip gloss, super moisturizing and if you feel like your lips are cracked for some strange reason. This is your go-to, because you just put it on overnight and you wake up and your lips are healed completely okay anyway, so i'm gon na brush this hair back or curl. My back rather just clip all this hair back fold, this lace over just so i can see what it looks like. I still have a bit of glue on the lace because um, if you follow me on instagram, you will know that i filmed this video like twice already um, so i filmed it for the first time, the first time i'd stuck it like way too close to My to my brows, and so i had to film it again and then the second time i filmed it. I was obviously like upset and i was just rushing through the whole thing, so i don't really like how it looked. I felt, like my makeup, didn't look too great. The wig wasn't laid in the way in which i wanted it to be late, so i was just not happy what i'm trying to do now is i'm just trying to remove this excess glue by gently just brushing it off? I should have done this while i was washing the wig, but i didn't realize that it had a bit of glue because i soaked the glue overnight, so i just automatically assume that it would have washed off. This is the glue that i use for almost all of my wigs. I do find that in summer, though, my wigs don't really tend to stick down that much that well, like i find my ears lifting the sides lifting because of the humidity. So i was looking for something a little bit stronger, but the recommendation i got one of um the influences i follow burnt their hairline, so i'm just like. Maybe i'm gon na stick to this got to be because it's just better child. So i'm just gon na spray, some where i want the wig to lay and right beside me. I'Ve got a hairdryer and i'm going to be using this on cool heat. Y'All know how it goes, i'm sure, if you're watching this video, you know how it goes already, and i'm just going to flip this right back over, like this make sure it's not too close to my brows. I share me feeling high bow me filming a whole entire video and then laying this wig by using my fingers to just sort of press it down onto the glue with the hairdryer you'll, see that i do still have hair flapping over just from well the sides. Just unstuck on to be quite honest, so what i'm going to do is i'm going to wipe down this glue, because i've realized that if you apply too much glue, the install isn't as flawless as you want it to be. So i'm going to wipe off this. Some of the screws that i already have on here, i'm going to dry the area this time, i'm going to try dried again. First, stick this wig down and then i'm just gon na press it down like so and i'm gon na hold it then you'll notice in some parts that the wig is like flapping over a little bit. If you don't need that lace, you can just go in with a pair of cosmetic scissors and just you know, snip it off. You can go in with some glue and i just use the back of my sasha powder and just spray on some glue like that. Rub my comb in like so and just press that down on the edges, so it does not flap. My hair is pretty much stuck down like it's. It'S stuck. What i'm gon na do is i'm gon na go in with this eco gel just for a bit more support and to bring back that shine and also just as a way of styling my hair and i'm just gon na use this comb again just to again Further style it before i wrap it, i'm gon na go in with this elastic band, just to ensure that the lace melts into my skin and i'm going to wrap this quite tightly around the front of my forehead. As you can see, it's quite tight. That'S how you want it to be, because you want the lace to literally melt onto your skin, where you can't see the edges. I'Ve gone in with this elastic band. I'M gon na go in with this diy scarf that i just cut from what was this? I'M actually not too sure and i'm gon na wrap it on the rest of my hair, just to lay the front part as well. You used to feel like i was free now it's just broken pieces of me. My hair see how that looks. Oh, it's so tight my ears, chill, okay, perfect! So that's what that looks like i'm gon na go in with this tissue baton. It'S been through a lot. I just ran out of tissue so and i'm gon na wipe off any excess glue. That'S really really important, because if you don't wipe it off at this point, then it's just gon na show you flames when you start putting on your foundation, so just make sure that you wipe down any glue and i'm going to go in with these scissors and Just cut some of this hair because i feel like it's too long. I think what i've learned about laying a wig is that you need a lot of patience like to get it right. You have to do it with utmost level of patience because you'll just go through the most. If you rush it, you will literally see flames. So i'm going to use this um powder foundation from revlon. That'S what it looks like and not too much product. I'M actually just gon na blend the product out into my hand like that, and i'm just gon na sort of tint the lace, so it hides it better. I don't know why you pretend no, i don't want to be at your party, seeing you right next to somebody. Why do you keep on trying okay cool then i'm gon na go in with some moose just to tame any flyaways. I just hope that will be. Okay, it's so difficult to see whatever happens is meant to be then you'll. Ask me what, even though this wig is it literally, it looks like my natural hair, and you know what i am here for it. I literally love it. Let'S beat this face gel okay. Let'S feed this [ __ ] face okay cool, so the foundation i am going to be using to be quite honest. Yesterday i used the huda beauty foundation stick, but i'm realizing that this face needs a serious, bead. Okay. So i'm going to go in with my nars foundation, natural radiance, loungeway, longwear, nars, natural radiance, long wear foundation, and it is in the shade, macau. I'M gon na use a primer. First, i'm gon na go in with this bobbi brown primer plus mattifier, just to sort of minimize my pores and give me that perfect, primed and matte, look which i need because i'm in south africa - and it is so hot out here so i usually do - is I just usually put some across my face like that. I really like this foundation and i feel like it's such a great match for my skin, i'm gon na spritz, some fix plus on my foundation brush just so. It helps me blend my foundation just a bit more seamlessly and i'm just gon na go in and blend i used to feel like i was free. Now it's just broken pieces of me. I don't know why you pretend no, i don't wan na be at your party, seeing you right next to somebody. Why do you keep on trying to do when you know what we shouldn't? Do i'm gon na go in with some concealer, because i i'm not looking for anything natural this face has to be beat okay, so i'm gon na go in with this huda beauty, overachiever concealer. This concealer is so high coverage. However, it is a bit cool for my skin tone. It still works, though, because i use a pretty warm powder. I use a sasha buttercup setting powder, but, as you can see, as you will see, this concealer is so it's got so much coverage. You literally only need a little. I only use a lot because i just like a lot of concealer just in general, but you don't need as much as i am putting on. I know you'll see this as i start to blend okay. So once my face is highlighted, i'm gon na go in and contour my face. I will be using this black opal foundation. Stick. It is in the shade black walnut, and that is what it looks like again. Y'All know the drill i'm just gon na put this my cheeks, so i'm going to be using this same kabuki brush just to blend out my nose and i'm going to put that right into the beginning of my brown. Why do you keep on trying to do when you know what we shouldn't do, even though, that i want you? Why don't we go figure? It yeah yeah, i'm going to go in and set my face. I am using the sasha buttercup setting powder and i will be using a flat, a flat powder brush just like that, and i'm just gon na dip this in here dust it off and go back and blend underneath my eye just a little bit just to make Sure that i'm not creasing and then i'm going to just place this powder and press it in just like that. I'M just gon na start setting my nose and i'm gon na pinch, my brush just to give me like a more precise application of the powder, because i will be baking my nose just because i get so oily in my nose area and i feel like the Powder on my nose just needs that extra bit of time just to set and prevent me from oiling up during the day and i'm gon na set the bridge. I usually set my contour, but today i'm not going to i'm just gon na go straight into bronzing. My face and i will be using this bobbi brown bronzing powder - it is in the shade, dark. I love bronzer. I feel like it's such a great way to blend out your contour and just you know, bring back that warmth and nice glow to your to your face. The reason why i'm not setting my contour is that i want to still have like that. Chewy finish just along my contoured areas, so i don't feel like it's necessary that i said it, especially because we putting over it's a power, a powder, bronzer type of thing, so that will sort of set it enough or as much as i need to i'm going To blush up my pretty face to get it prettier, i will be using the: where is it okay? I will be using the mac. Raisin blush, that's what it looks like and it's in the shade raise in this is such a fave of mine and i'll be using a fairly smaller type of brush, and just on my cheekbones like so i personally love a good blush, and this raisin blush is Honestly, one of the best blushes for dark skin - i love it so so much and we're using this abh soft glam palette, which looks stunning and is so so pigmented. So a huge part of me wants to go for this mulberry color and maybe blend it out with this sienna color, not too sure how that looks. So i think it looks a bit dark okay, so they have this color here in this next palette and that's what it looks like. I think i'm leaning more towards this color. So that's what i'm going to do go in with a fluffy brush and just blend. This out - and i think i'm going to go in with this rose pink palette from abh, and i am going to be still using this fluffy-ish brush just to sort of apply that and i'm going to apply this in a crease type of way. Y'All see that that looks so pretty to sort of blend my eye out, i'm going to go in with the same kabuki brush. I was using to blend my concealer and i'm going to use that to neaten up this blend, i'm going to stretch out my eye. Just to make sure that i get in there, i'm gon na put on some mascara. I will be using this mascara anyway. I will be using this um stila huge extreme lash mascara. That is what it looks like and i will just be applying it like normal. If you want to extend your lower lashes and you want them to look longer, what you do is you use the tip of the wand to being right at the top here, and you just gently swipe across your lashes, like that it really helps to use a Small mirror and look into it sort of gives you a better control and a better view of your lashes. So once you've done this whole swiping thing, you should be able to now see your lashes and then you can just go in and apply it using the rest of the wand, as you normally would i find that that really helps me lengthen my my lower lashes And then i'm going to go in with some eyeliner and i'm using the maybelline master drama kohl, liner, look down into the mirror and apply this directly on my waterline just a thin line. So i'm going to put on some lashes off camera and i'm gon na come back what we shouldn't, i'm gon na be using this mac extra dimension, skin finish highlighter and a small brush. I do have a brush video um sort of tutorial demonstration, video on my channel, which is really really helpful. So if you are wondering which type of brushes i'm using and why i'm using you can just refer to that video, because i'm pretty much using the same brushes or similar kind, a similar kind yeah, i know what we said. I still think we should figure it out. Nothing here will be the same again, so we finalized this collaboration. On the 18th of january. On the 26th of january, she sent me my tracking number and on the 28th of january, which was yesterday, i got this hair. So i've so i washed his hair three times already and i feel like it's holds really really well just in terms of the curl and stuff. I have put a bit of conditioner, but it doesn't seem too high maintenance, like the curls, won't fall out or anything like that i haven't had the i haven't, had the hair on the whole day. So i can't really give you much information on that. But if you are interested just follow me on instagram, and i will update you guys on this hair, what i usually say to my followers is that, even if i do forget to update you like give you an actual update, you will just see how how much I like the hair, just judging by how much i wear the hair. So if it's hair that i wear quite often just in the following few weeks or a few months, then you will know that she likes it. It'S good. It'S really really good, but i can't complain so far.
