Today'S video is sponsored by best lace, wigs.com and i'm about to show y'all the unit that they sent to me. So this is their ombre curly bob wig, and this wig is in 14 inches guys, look at the lace on this unit, but before we get into that, like the curls are just absolutely doing it. For me, this is how the wig looks like straight out of the package. Now this is their skill. Skin melted, hd lace, the wig is already pre-plucked for you, the knot's already bleached, like all that good stuff, so you can just go on and wear the wig straight out of the package. Now this is what my hair is looking like little cornrows going on situation. I'M a lazy girl, so all we're going to do is put on the wig cap, but first things. First, i go in with a little bit of edge control to slick back my hair. Now i won't be doing the ball cap method, because, personally, i don't like doing all that extra stuff. Like a lot of people, do you can do it. This is my method. I i'm for the extraneous you feel me. I just want my wigs to go on within a 20 minute period and that's it if it can be done within that time frame, i'm not having it. So i'm just going to stick by my hair go in with this wig cap that i also got from the website, so you can get that with your unit as well. So i'm making sure everything is in place. My edges are slicked back. My corners are all in and all that good stuff. Now, once that's done and i'm satisfied that it's laid properly, what you want to do and a lot of people keep on forgetting, is cutting the lace off the back of the wig like get that lace off girl. You don't want the wind to be blowing and that is showing. So what i do is i time the band in the back of my wig, so that, if i want to, i could wear it as a glueless and also to make sure that the wig is fit snug on my head now guys. Look how transparent this lace is. This is their hd clean, hairline lace and it's absolutely gorgeous like if you are new to wearing wigs or you're, not that good at customizing the front of your unit. This type of lace is for you like. It is absolutely for you and this lace wig does a really good job of how they typically do their lace. Like it's super easy to do, and you literally don't have to do nothing extra. You don't have to pluck it any more than it is already plugged because it is just doing the do so. I'M going to go in with the evi and spray and i don't use glue because i, like my edges as my edges, are i don't want my edges to be going girl, so i use something light on my head, especially since i'm not doing the ball cap Method, so i want to make sure that i'm not doing anything harmful to my natural hairline. So i spray that under the lace and then i put the lace on top use my blow dryer for a couple of seconds, like the usual stuff that i usually do. If you are, you know regulars here, but if you're new here this is my typical method. Now what i also like to do is i like to make sure that the wig is around my ear properly, meaning everything is aligned, so i cut off that extra lace around my ear and make sure that it's nice and flat. So if i want to wear the hair back or i want to do something put it up in a little, you know ponytail on like a half of half done type of style like i can do that without it looking weird, so i make sure that everything Is melted by using my blow dryer, i know my blow. Dryer is looking crazy right now, but there's a backstory to that, but we're going to ignore it. For now, then, i'm going to go in with the scissors and just do like a zigzag motion to cut off that extra lace. Also, i like to wear my wigs in accordance to how my face is shaped and how my natural hair lining is. So i don't have a widow's peak. My hair doesn't typically come down on my forehead like this, so i'm going to cut off the excess lace on my forehead, because i don't need that. I don't need the extra extra hair on me like that's, not how my face is shape. I don't ever want a way to to change the features of my face and also you know just the shape and the look of me. I do not want that. So wherever i live to cut off the extra lace, i'm just going to dab some of these spray, the ebi and spray onto my fingertip, and i dab that directly on the areas that i need melted again. So just do that lightly! You don't you don't need a lot and then i'm going to go in with a band later on now the band that i'm using well, i had a bag. I misplaced it. So i'm going to use this molding wrap that i got at my beauty supply store. You can get it on amazon or you can get a elastic ban on the website, but we're going to use this to melt the lace i usually go in with my elastic band. I can't find it and then now it's time to define the curls so we're gon na go in with the shine and jam magic finger, mousse and baby. I absolutely love the smooth when it comes to styling units like it doesn't give that crunch. I hate when mousses give that crunch. You know you still want your hair to be soft but defined at the same time, and this mousse does that for me. So i'm just going to apply that all over the unit. It'S a little bit damp right now and then i'm going to take my little detangling brush and we're going to go through that make sure that everything is distributed in there now. The mousse alone cannot give you that definition that you want it's gon na still look fuzzy, so you wan na go in with water as well, so you can interchange between mousse and water. Just repeat that step over and over again until you get that defined. Uniform. Look or that wet look, but i wasn't going for the wet look through and through. I just needed it to be defined first and then i'm gon na, let it air dry. Now i'm gon na take off my little molding wrap since the lace is supposed to be dried at this point and it is melted. Now, how i am i like a little bit of soup to the soup type of situation in the front, so i just cut a little a little edge situation in the front. Then i go in with that: little flat iron and then i spray the ebi and spray onto my edge brush, and then i do my soups. That is how my i do my soups. Nothing crazy! Nothing extra do a little sideburn situation. This is all optional. You don't got to do all of that, and i put a little bit of mousse on the front just to give it that wavy definition as well, and that is it for this unit like this unit, was super easy to style. It was effortless, it's giving natural. It'S giving summer time bob with the color. The melanin is popping it's giving palpation it's doing it's doing everything that needs to be done. Even though this hair is in 14 inches. It seemed a little bit shorter to me. I didn't clip it, i didn't cut it. I didn't do anything extra, so you want to keep in mind. This is what the 14 inch looks, like, obviously, with curly hair, it's going to look a little bit shorter, but i think they measure it from the stretch length and not the actual curly length. Obviously - and this is what our lace is looking like - it's giving very much natural gross growing from the scalp - that is what it is doing and i am feeling it all.
