Hey y'all, it's Sheree! What'S up back with another video Happy Valentine's Day baby, I hope y'all are spending this Valentine's Day with the one or ones that you love. In the spirit of Valentine's Day, I wanted to reflect on products that I have loved over the years that are now discontinued. I don't want to focus too much on reformulations, because reformulations are just a part of the beauty product process. That'S just something! That'S going to happen, things are going to be reformulated. Uh brands are gon na switch up on us, that's just a part of it, so I don't want to focus too much on reformulation. So we're not going to talk about the main choice and um shea moisture and brands that we all love that have switched up change the ingredients. Kids, we could have a long list of products that have been reformulated right. I want to talk about natural hair products that I have completely disappeared. Gone can't be accessed can't find not even a reformulation of that product products that have gone by by forever, let's get into it y'all, but before we do, if you are new here and you've, never seen my face definitely be sure to subscribe. So you can stick around give this video a thumbs up if you like this type of content, a Lego such a long way and turn out your post on vacation. So you don't miss another video. Let'S keep it real y'all! This video is all in good fun. I don't truly miss any hair care product, because I mean there are hundreds of hair products. There'S always going to be something new to try always a new brand coming out. This is just fun, nothing to be taken seriously. If you have products that you miss that have been discontinued or in your case have been reformulated and you miss them, definitely let me know what those products are definitely chime down chime in down below. I would love to know what products you miss you wish you could get your hands on. That'S your stockpiled when you know it was going bye-bye. Let'S keep here talk down below and let's get into my former thieves, let's start and wash the order, I'm going to try to include pictures as much as possible. I think there's at least for most of them there's going to be a picture. Some of them have been scrubbed from the internet, so I'll do my best. The first we're going to start with a cleanser, a collage, and this is a brand that I'm sure most of you have never heard of, especially if you're watching this and you haven't been natural. As long as I have, if you've been natural for less than eight years, I don't think you've heard of it about this brand. This brand is hair Vita and I am talking about their amla cream rinse. This was my first collage I ever used. This was before eating Body Works came out with their collage. Before, as I am cream, I was with their collage. This, at least for me, was the blueprint. This was the first collage that I had ever tried that made me interested in using co-washes to cleanse my hair, something that wasn't a traditional shampoo at this time before this product. As far as I know, this was the only thing that we had. That was an alternative. I think that was Diva Curl, but this was the first like black owned brand that had created its own low pool, no pool type of product, and I loved it. I I went through several bottles of it. I used it in this. Was I'm talking I'm talking about back in 2012 y'all? This is Back in the Day. 2011 2012 um hair. Better, is not around anymore, but hair bid at one point had a holes on the natural hair community at that time and they had amazing products. It was. I think a lot of people's introduction at the time to ayurveda. It was a good time. It was a good time to be a natural. It was a good time to be a black young woman, and I I messed up products, because it reminds me of simpler times of natural hair community um, either times after our community, when when the community was actually a community right, it wasn't commodified and broken down And honestly destroyed by capitalism, it was a simpler time um and that Amala cream lens it was amla treatments or Mala cream rinse. It was good, it was really good um, it was cleansing but moisturizing. What can I say now? Let'S move on to conditioner this conditioner y'all had me in a chocolate. I even mentioned this product in an old old video of mine from like back in 2015 or so. If I, if I can include that clip, I will include it because I mean the product was amazing. First of all, it was 32 ounces for five dollars. You can't find that today and you definitely couldn't find it back. Then much has not changed. It was moisturizing. It had slipped, it was silicone free and it was cheap as hell. It was a good time and it's the Tresemme perfectly undone trust me. It'S notorious for discontinuing bomb products. We have Tresemme nachos when I was in college that has been discontinued. That has been killed perfectly undone replaced the trust made Naturals. For me it was a better product. I was okay with it and then they discontinued that I only been thinking that Tresemme has any silicone free products anymore, but back in the day. That trust me perfectly. Undone was a time, and I don't know why they discontinued it. It had simple ingredients again the slip, the moisture, everything and the fact that it was silicone free in a time where it was hard to find inexpensive. Silicone free prop silicone free conditioners, and it still is it's still hard to find silicone free conditioners in the drugstore that one just it showed up for the girls it showed up and showed out this deep conditioner, I don't think has actually been discontinued. I still think it's still available on the True by me, beautiful site, on the by me beautiful site girl. I never know the name of that company or the product, but I will link a picture um in 2017, 2016 2017. That product had me in a Chokehold to the point that I actually made it to my top products of 2017. um. That product was excellent on my color treated hair. I'M sure it would have been excellent on my natural hair as well. My my Virgin Hair, just because it was so moisturizing, I think it's still available on the website, but I just I'm just not buying one product from the website like I'm just not doing that it was still at Sally's, definitely would still use it. I think it's so moisturizing. It had a great slip back in the day. I would deep condition on dry hair and I was able to detangle my hair with it. I don't know if the formula has changed or anything I haven't used it since, like 2017 2018, so I'm not sure if the formula is still the same, but back in the day she really held me down now. Let'S talk about this protein treatment. This is a new to us, I think most of us. This is new to us. Botanica, the mender NJ Everhart, definitely put us on back in 2021 and now is discontinued. It did not have a long life, okay, um. We we jumped on it and it went bye-bye. I think, there's something happening behind the scenes with that company. If you can still find your get your hands on it, I still I, I still think it's great and I think it's great for the culture. I think in the natural Community we have this thing where we don't value protein. Everything is moisture, everything is softness and we wonder why our hair is not prospering or retaining length or because your hair is mushy and it needs protein. I still I still value what Botanica did for the culture um, allowing black women access to protein treatment to Affordable protein treatments. 12 ounces for 12 dollars a steal. Now we're going to go into stylers. Most of the things that I miss are stylers, I'm very picky about my stylus, I'm picky about everything. But stylers I mean that's, that's the end result right. So one styler - and this is the reformulation, but I had to mention it just because how important this product was to me at one point in my natural hair journey and that's the extreme wetline gel and I'm not talking about that new age y'all got now. Okay, I'm talking about the original Green Top extreme wetline gel with a little handle. That'S the one! I'M talking about the one that would come in like a 70 ounce from Sally's OG OG formula from like back in 2014.. That is the extreme white line that I'm talking about. Okay, real OG, um extreme line gel was one of the first gels, at least for me, that kind of revolutionized how I did my wash and goals back at that time. Obviously, now in 2023 I am not a wash and go girl, believe it or not back in the day in 2014, when I was in college - and I wasn't wearing wigs to basically hide for my my hair, because I was so overwhelmed, I actually wore washable with Wash and goals are really my go-to style and I use extreme wet line gel. I would apply a leave-in conditioner on damp hair. I will go in with extreme wetline gel and it wouldn't flake like a lot of the gels flake today. I mixed it with almost everything back in the day when I think about it, and I didn't have the flaking buildup issues like I have now with modern day gels like that OG formula, I don't remember it flaking I mean because it was like 10 years ago. Maybe my memory has softened the blow of bad hair days with that, but for the most part I had Good Hair Days with extreme Wetland gel. It was a good time. Extreme wetline gel hasn't been the same for years, even though so not this formula that y'all hate, but the previous formula that you all love, it still wasn't as good as that OG OG formula, like you, think you love something only because you've never experienced that actual Good stuff right, the second iteration of wetline gel was y'all's Fame, but my fave was the first generation the first iteration. That is the price that I missed, because it changed the game once wash and goes everything and things won't be the same. Okay, um. All the things must come to an end and rip to a real one. Also, a gel that revolutionized the game as well was Eco, Styler, blue and Eagle seller still has a blue version, but all the Eco stylers now have a hold of 10. back in the day like in 2014 2015. That was an Eco Styler blue that had a hold of eight. I believe, and it just had the perfect hole to moisture ratio. I would get Flakes with it, because Eco Styler gel was definitely more finicky than extreme wetline gel, but I have some bomb wash and goes with Eco Styler 8 as well. Great definition, like I said, softness hold moisture. It was good Eco Styler was good. Now I don't support Eco Styler anymore, just because some stuff came out about it got style a few years ago and I'm like I'm good on you, but back in the day before I knew about the mess with Eco Style, her ecosala was my ride or die. I mean obviously Eco Styler Olive is was a staple, but Eco Styler blue was my favorite. Another Stella that was really good. That most of y'all probably have never heard about, is the Kiss My Face upper management gel this was the. This is one of the first Botanical gels or on the market that black girls kind of jumped on definitely wasn't for us Kiss My Face. It'S not not black owned or anything, but back in the day, with all the like OG YouTubers they jumped on it and it kind of had a learning curve. Because I started using that before. I knew how to do wash and goes, but one of my favorite wash and goals from back in the day. I think I have a video on it was using that kiss my face upper management gel I mean just bomb hair just bomb and they had they reformulated it and eventually it's I, I think, is discontinued. Um um. That'S that's the trajectory right, reformulations death. When I think back about a really good wash and go that one still comes to mind even 10 years later and the last product is a product, I think most people don't even know about, because I'm not even sure how long it was around or people's access To it actually got sent this in PR, I think back in the day like in 2014 2015. Let me get the name. It was a curly Twirls, curling custard and after I used it up, I searched everywhere for it and I couldn't find it helping. This brand is around anymore, but when I say this gave me hope in curling custard, it's like curling custards are are dead to me because curling customers, they flake so much. They don't really give holes, but that curling custard was the first product that I tried where it didn't flake. It made all my Styles bomb. I use this product for rod, sets back in the day with my heat damage and every raw set hit baby. Every Rod set was a hit, I'm pretty sure. I have a video on YouTube using this product, because at the time that product had me in a Chokehold, it was 12 ounces. A little went a long way. It gave me the perfect amount of definition and softness. It was perfect, I don't know why, like, if I could think of one product, that I actually missed, that actually would like pay twenty dollars for, even though it used to be five would be that product, because that product is probably the most unique products. I'Ve ever tried like come back. Please come back, especially because I'm in my raw set era, I would love to try that products on my Virgin Hair. At the time I had color treated heat severely heat damaged hair. I would love to try that today I I'm pretty sure it will still be bomb. Oh I miss you like. I missed, put my products on the list and they are two like oil, sealant butter types of products. One of them, I think, has been like reformulated. It'S kind of iffy: it is the nourish and Shine by Jane Cotter Solutions, Jayden Connor Solutions. It is now nourish and shine, but the owner of Norwich, the owner of Jane Carter Solutions is no longer involved. Basically, she was kicked out of her own company. I guess the deal went wrong or something and she was kicked out of her own company and the products have the products have been reformulated and she's no longer involved. So I guess I'm including it because it's not really a reformulation, because it's a whole new company, even though the formulas in theory are the same. They are not, but the OG original nourish and shine baby. If you have never tried nourish and shine. What are you doing if you have never tried, nourish and shine? I am sorry to hear that, because when I tell you about a softening smoothing just joyous butter, this I think that made my favorites of 20 18 19, something in there. I raved about that product. A lot I think in, like 2018 2019, I hate to see what happened to that brand. What happened to that product? Because I don't even think I had the first generation the first generation had better butters like elipe and Cocoon by the time I got it. I got like the second generation which didn't have those like really exotic Butters, but it was still good and it was still moisturizing still softening and now it's a shell even of the second generation. So I hate to see it because that nourish and shine was so good. You can use it on your body left your your heels Supple. Just so amazing - and I miss her and then lastly, is a product that I forgot about, but I was talking to the girls in The Insider T and some of them were mentioning Carol's, Daughter, products and funny enough. Carol'S Daughter actually has a discontinued section on their website, so I went through the products. I knew what I used to use Carol's Daughter products a lot more Heavenly than I do now and I went. I went through the list and it reminded me of the lock button. Y'All remember that Carol's Daughter laugh butter. If you're an OG natural, I'm talking like 9 10 plus years, then you would know about this product um. I don't really remember this product and it's not memorable, so it's not like. Oh, my God, I miss it, but it made me smile because it's actually one of the first products that I bought when I first went natural back in 2011., the Carol's Daughter, lock butter and their Marguerite magic was like two very popular products in the natural hair Community at that time, I'm pretty sure I bought them on Amazon. That'S one like natural hair products were finally going on Amazon. It'S funny because, like even though I'm young ish I've been natural for a long time and I've seen the growth of the natural Community. Like I joined the natural hair community at like the beginning stages of the natural Community right because 2011 2012 is when the natural Community really took off, and I we saw a lot of changes within the community and at that time, like 2011 2012 products being sold On Amazon was a big deal like it's funny to think back to that time. Right, because now we buy everything on Amazon and every company and brand is on on Amazon right, at least the bigger one. So you, you can't even think back to a time where this was this was novel. This was new and I was excited for Carol's daughter being available on Amazon. I purchased Marguerite's magic and the lock butter and I use a lot of butter all the way up and it actually was a great Styler. I used it to seal my twist. I wore a lot of twists back then I'm wearing for twist out. I would use it for Twist outs to twist my hair. It was just an excellent product, um great for sealing the hair, because I did have beeswax in it, which would like lock my twists in place lock my twist out in place. It was a good time. Um, I can still smell it. It smells kind of like citrusy and the Citrus grease. I can still smell that scent and it takes me back, like I said, to simpler times, um a lot of these products. Take me back to the beginning days: when the community was the community and it you know, women in their bathrooms and like webcam, footage and people didn't have these lights and all the pretentiousness that we have now and the brand deals on the sponsorships and the commission And the link, sometimes it makes me kind of sad that most of y'all who are newly natural, you know some of y'all. I know just went natural last year. Just went natural two or three years ago. You want you, will you will never experience? You know the true Joy of being natural. In the same way it was different. I I can't explain it you just had to be there. You just had to be there um, but I'm glad I was there and I'm glad I got to experience that that black girl Joy at that time, um, but that's the end of the video y'all. These are the products that I miss that were Staples in my regimen that were Staples for a lot of women in the natural hair community. If you have products like this are similar, definitely comment them comment them down below would love to continue this conversation in the comment section. I hope this video, if nothing else, was fun to watch and I'll talk to y'all later peace Happy Valentine's Day. Y'All be well love you so much

Tonia682: Went natural in 2010. I miss the days of bathroom videos, the way we were a close-knit community and the excitement of products that worked for our hair. Some brands I miss are Darcy’s Botanicals and Bee Mine.

A Scribe Called Tess: Tresemme Naturals was my jam!! It was my co-wash, my rinse out, my leave-in, add olive oil and it was my deep conditioner....I used it for eeeeverything. It was truly a miraculous product and I shed tears when it was discontinued.

The Coily Code: That Tresseme naturals conditioner…Girl…we had a good thing going…and it just rode off into the sunset with no explanation why do companies do this?

Erwillow: Great video. I miss when the natural hair movement was thriving and the products were fire.

Michelle W: WTH! Jane Carter was kicked out of her own company! I did not know that. Yes, the nourish and shine was really good. I used her mousse and leave in for years.

Antoinette Chevalier: Carol’s Daughter “Margarites Magic” was one of the first natural-hair products I bought too — and this video just reminded me of that. I had *no* idea what I was doing back then: I think I just thought I should have an expensive grease because “grease” was an o.g. hair product from time immortal. Don’t even know if it was effective in any way. But Carol’s Daughter was doing the thing from her apartment in NYC — good ol’ days when black women entrepreneurs were just getting started, in their kitchens working to give us all beautiful hair.

BlkScuba Queen: I've been natural for over 20 years but I didn't know much about my hair until the pandemic and used YouTube to learn. I used to use Carol's Daughter's products but after a while, they did nothing for my hair. I can honestly say since learning my hair, it's striving during my menopausal state. One lesson I have learned, you don't have to loose hair while aging. But know what to use is key and to eliminate breakage will maintain length.

J Lew: 2012 was the good ole days in the natural hair community. I remember so many of these products. I remember going to the natural hair conventions, where I bought so many of these products directly from the company. So sad to see so many of these smaller brands are just gone forever. Also, I completely missed out on the Botanika protein treatment. It looks good interesting though. RIP to Jane Carter Nourish and Shine. We hate to see it.

Michelle W: Aubrey Organics were really good back in the day. Once the owner passed away his sons took over and ruined the company. Their Honeysuckle conditioner and GPS Protein treatment was thee best.

Ashkins Curls: I’m working on a similar video, so many good ones gone That Tresseme was GOOD damn. Happy Valentine’s Day

Nicole Williams: I used to love TRESemme Naturals (you took me back ) & I was actually able to pick up 2 bottles of the Botanika Beauty Mender Protein Treatment prior to it being discontinued. Great video!

Jeannine Gorden: OK, so I actually did experience one of these products. My hairstylist when I was relaxed used Nourish & Shine FOR YEARS. She often finished my style with it. It smelled so good I bought my own!

DivaNo1: Excellent video! LOVED the trip down memory lane. I went natural in 2007 and used most of the products you've mentioned. Tresseme was my go-to, especially after doing henna/indigo mixes to rinse.

Nee Hardy: Omg you really awoke some memories for me. Around that OG time my daughters were like 10yrs old, and that’s when I started the beginnings of letting them do their own hair….to a point lol. We would watch y’all’s videos with excitement to see the products y’all were using & let me say, those Jane Carters & Carol’s Daughters products were our faves also

Michelle W: I use to use that blue Eco Styler gel back in the late 80’s and 90’s to do finger waves. I used that gel for well over a decade. It was thee best gel.

Leticia Johnson: This was a very interesting video. And thank you for recognizing that there are new naturals in the audience.

NaturalRaeRae: I loved that Tresemme Naturals conditioner and was heart broken when they discontinued it. The blue Eco was a holy grail for me; it paired well with everything. I wanted to try the Kiss My Face, but I could never find it in stock, so I didn't get a chance to try it. Thanks for this video; it brought back so many memories.

Shelby Jestice: I first started going natural in 2012, and I remember some of these products. The ones I tried that you mentioned were the Carol's daughter loc butter and Marguerite's Magic cream, Tresemme naturals (I think) and I just got the Botanika protein treatment a year ago. I haven't even tried it yet so I'm going to be sad if I like it lol. I remember when people would talk about the Jane Carter product, but I never tried it. I know an oil is an oil lol but I used to buy the oil by Uniqurl. Apparently they're making a comeback.

Mavis Jones: I loved many Hairveda products, especially the Vatika Frosting. I actually still have an old jar of it, which I will reach for on occasion. Also, miss the Tresemme Naturals, too.

Curls of a CPA: Mannn that perfectly undone conditioner had me in a chokehold too. I put so many people on to that and was sad when I couldn’t find it

Alexandria Russell: This video had me smiling the whole time☺️ I went natural in 2016. Some of these products I never heard of. But you brought me back with Jane Carter. I didn’t know that happened to the owner. I used the curls to go line. The untangle me leave in and the cocktail conditioning cream for a wash n go. When I say it was popping. Made me fall in love with my curls because I didn’t know they could do that. I don’t even know why I stopped buying it. Another product I miss but it is a pitiful reformulation is the bentonite clay mask from honey’s handmade. It used to be light grey with specks and had a earthy scent. Had the same consistency as the mielle babassu & mint dc. When I say that mask had so much slip and was so moisturizing. I’m not into making my own clay masks so I was excited to buy one that I loved. Ordered it again and was a completely different, stank might I add product. I’m still salty about that

Eva Bright: Love this video. Going to miss Botanika when I'm done with the bottle. Still have an original Nourish and shine

Truqueen01: This made me soooo nostalgic! I've been natural since 2009....and, I remember all of the Hair forums where you talked about Natural hair organically. It really felt like a community, a village, if you will. I miss Hairveda 's Deep conditioner. Can't even remember the name! And, Donna Marie's curling jelly. First gel to give my Baby fro beautiful definition & moisture. Sighhh....the good old days!

Curls By Nat: I just could not understand tresemme natural was my go to. It was a shame that they discontinue it

Reservechic: Happy Valentine’s Day, beautiful! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love you to the fullest, boo! I was sad when Hairveda ended up going out of business. They used to be popping, but for some reason people stop buying with them like they used to, and of course they had no choice but to shut down. What Trsemme did to their Natirals Conditioner was a legit crime. I felt like filing charges on them I swear . No one asked them to change nothing, and what they came out to replace is just straight up disrespectful to my hair. I am still hurt over Darcy’s Botanicals closing up shop and not even letting people know they was going out of business beforehand. I used to buy from that brand on the regular. They definitely lost tons of cool points with me for that for sure. The original Creme of Nature Shampoo that so many people loved, when that was discontinued, it definitely broke a lot of peoples hearts, especially mines. That was the best shampoo ever, period.

Ann Dee Cosita: I miss Tresemme Naturals. It was my rinseout, my leave in, the base for my deep conditioner. I also liked Undone line. I remember Hairveda, afroveda, LACE naturals which became Bask and Bloom. I went natural in 2008.

Simply Sweet1: I miss Carol's Daughter when LIsa Price was doing everything on a small scale. I miss the body butters and perfume oils. The new formulation of CD's hair products are garbage for my hair. They simply just don't work.

Burnetta Allen: I was put onto Miss Cool decades ago. It was a setting lotion for dry hair that did not cause natural hair to revert. It called itself a 5 minute setting product. I sure miss being able to blow out my natural hair and roller set with a curling iron look. I could reset as needed and not revert or use additional heat.

Tena Defiant: I've been natural only since 2017, but one of the first products I tried and loved was Dark and Lovely AU Natural mango cream. It smelled sooooo good and is what made me want to try all these other brands, turning me into a product junkie early on

TressesOfAlexis: THE ONLY WETLINE WE RECOGNIZE IS THE OG BIG BODY WETLINE

Allyson Terrell: Happy Valentines Day blessings ❤️ I didn't know the mender is discontinued , I remember Carol's daughter loc butter, I started transitioning in 2011 so I know what you mean in the beginning of natural hair movement. Love your videos one day I'll join the insider tea❤️❤️

Heather Johnson: If you’ve been natural since the early 2000’s you’d remember Ultra Black Hair Care products made by Cathy Howse. Those products jump started my transition and natural journey. They got me through when I had no idea what I was doing.

Nijee Vaughn: Carol's Daughter had this hydrating line called Mirabelle Plum. That shampoo was like my staple. I was so upset when they discontinued that line.

Jeannine Gorden: As a newer natural, my strands will never get to experience these products!!

Denise.Adore: Love that you have all that old footage girl that rod set with that curl custard was I had good times with botanika, 2nd gen Wetline and nourish & shine! The good ole days you almost had us in tears at the end

Christiana Underwood: That rod set was beautiful!

Danielle Chisolm: I really enjoyed this concept of a video! If you didn’t use the nourish and shine you haven’t been natural since Jesus was a boy . I used the original formula and it was so silky! Best twists

Ann Dee Cosita: I occasionally buy Pink Ecostyler and it’s not a 10. I miss Smooth & Shine Curl Activator Gel. It was cheap and amazing in my hair. My hair never liked Carol’s Daughter. I remember when it was sold in Dillard’s. I bought Jane Carter and Kinky Curly at Whole Foods back then.

Bee Lovely: I loved Kiss My Face Gel! It was so good. This whole video was excellent. So much sadness

YAHNI WILSON: Roots of Nature. The whole business is discontinued. SMH. My heart hurts. That was the first brand (that I know of) to use mango butter instead of shea butter & I loved that because my skin & hair can't handle shea butter. I've been natural my whole life (I come from the times of Luster's Pink, Motions, Oil Sheen & Queen Helene, lol) but I found Roots of Nature when I did my first or second big chop & I actually saw hair GROWTH. I need the whole line to come back!!!

Kam: I used to love tresemme flawless curls line.

Anne El: Nourish and Shine was excellent. It's a shame what happened to her company. This business is hard

Sharin Pitts: I went natural in 2008. So I've seen it all!!! We used to look to Long Hair Care Forum, BGLH and genuine YouTuber who were mixing up their own concoctions. The styles were simpler...I remember yarn braids & the introduction of two strand twists and flat twists. It was easier to grow long hair because we didn't have all these rules everything was simple. It was all love. I miss KISS (Keep It Simple Sista).

With Marcia: I was just thinking of this topic and to do a YouTube video on it! I feel that some of the discontinued natural hair products are sold here in Canada. I’m so curious to know why they’re not available in the US. For example, The Mane Choice Easy On The Curls is sold here. I looked on their website and the name has been changed to Alpha .

S Maxwell: Luvin those styles! .. yeah never heard of these except Wetline, Eco, Jane Carter (used a curl cream from them when I first went natural 6 1/2 years ago) & used some of Carol Daughters products but I didn’t like it @ first .. thanks for this video

I Mac: Omgoodness the nostalgia! Back in the day Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Moisture line had me by the throat! Even the oil and hairdress was amazing to my transitioning/heat styled hair. Another oldie but goodie was the original jbco line from shea moisture when it was "growth" with that keratin. Baby! I haven't tried a shea moisture product since I was literally hurt and betrayed by that reformulation and sell out. Now, I don't trust none of these brands and tmc sealed the deal. Smh

Vanessa: Aww, you really reminded me of my natural hair journey! Jane Carter Solutions were probably the first natural hair brand I tried that worked for me. This was after Miss Jessies was out, and I couldn’t make it work. Then it was Carol’s Daughters…I was a proud mama with their pop-up shop at Atlantic Mall in Brooklyn. Then their brand was selling upstairs in Target too! Has anyone ever used Karen’s Body Beautiful? That was another staple I missed that also wound up in Target. Meeting the owner with her beautiful afro and learning her story was something I wouldn’t dream of happening today. I think I’m going to spin the block on her. What a time, for real!

Laysha Laya: Damn i still have a bottle of botanika too. Didn't realize it was discontinued, but I liked it so much I tried not to use it up too fast. Guess i should keep it and look around first before finishing

Jamila Jackson: It’s the black girl joy for me! Great video sis. Definitely fun to watch.

Healy Means: hi sherea you had me at DISCONTINUED that's probably 75% of my collection (maybe a little less), so i don't miss them...yet. tfs

eveningbreeze: I really miss Jane Carter Curls To Go Curl Cocktail Cream. A one and done product for me to moisturize and twist my hair. Hairveda Deep Conditioner and the 24/7 moist conditioner. Also old school lhcf days...Silk Dreams Conditioner. Good stuff.

M White: You put me onto an Herbal Essences conditioner (in the blue container) right as it was being discontinued. I went to every Bed Bath and Beyond to stock pile it. It’s great— super cheap, good slip, and moisturizing!

AllThings MoElle: I hated to hear what happened to Jane Carter Solutions! Jane is my ex’s godmother, we used to have Jane Carter products all over the house LOL

TressesOfAlexis: Nourish and Shine!!! Take me back to the good old days

livingdollgyaru: I remember when carols daughter was supposed to be the savior for natural hair and I bought a little trial set at target and didn’t like it.

Natural Hair Khronicles: Hey girl your looking Fabulous. I love this style on you.

AlsbeanNaturally: I was wondering why the nourish And shine was different. I loved that back in the day!!

Aisha B.: Yes! enjoyed the Jane Carter Nourish and Shine products! There are two that I miss - Carol's Daughter Rhassoul Clay Shampoo, Conditioner, and mask. The Shampoo! my dry sandy brown hair loved that stuff! Also, loved the Mane Choice Four Leaf Clover Leavein spray with the oils in it! My hair loved that stuff. Found the line at big lots last week for $5!! grabbed a few bottles. Happy day!!

HappyKeepin ItNappy: I miss the OG Super Wet Gel. I used to stalk the Walmart and Mexican stores near me to try to find it. Walmart would get it in randomly and it would only be 6 containers. I never came up at the Mexican stores.

bkchic: Wish I could have tried that butter. It sounds amazing.

MiVidaBellisima: OMG I forgot about the mender… that one hurt my soul I use NYM protein rinse courtesy of Sherea but idk if it does the same thing who knows

TressesOfAlexis: Bring back the point and shoot camera in the bathroom days. What a time to be alive!!!!

JDRPodcasts: I miss the 2010 ORS olive shampoo, got my hair squeaky clean (which I loved)

Curls of a CPA: I already see two of my favs in the thumbnail can’t wait to see the rest (I’ll report back )

Leslie Cador-Kidd: I've been natural since 2006..I miss the good old days before the YouTubers started quitting their jobs and doing YouTube full time...all bets were off when that happened and all honesty went out the window..so sad...

Chiquita Federico: Most recently I'm saddened by Uniqurl being MIA.. Idk if they are discontinued, but they are definitely no longer on the market currently.. I LOVED their moisturizing shampoo and I liked their deep conditioner and refreshing spray.. I have been on the search again but haven't found a new shampoo that hits the same way for my hair.. I've found close, but not same... RIP to all the amazing brands and products that are no longer available.. I'm not a fan of over consumption and so never really like purchasing alot of different things at once, but I also refuse to use products I don't enjoy on my hair.. So I've been buying many shampoos lately, looking for the perfect replacement.. My search continues........

Just Let Me Dance: Creme of Nature shampoo... The Green Bottle I really wrote them a letter after the reformulation saying like pleeeease don't do this to me. I still think about it to this day. They used to have a red one, and blue one, and a green one. Each targeted for different reasons.

Shondria Baynard: They still sell the Botanika on their website. Just got some

CammyjOfficial: Ah so many amazing hair hittas that are no more !!!! Why do the great ones always get chopped lol !!

BrianaB: I realize most of your list is not reformulation - butttt I want to add in the original Nioxin hair growth vitamins. From like 2011. They relaunched it in the past few years but it’s not the same. I am not lying to you when I say I finished three bottles of that and my hair grew 3.5 inches in 3 months which was insane for me. I typically average half an inch a month. And I got the recommendation from one of those old school natural hair forums that used to look like chat rooms. I miss the simpler times like you were reflecting on at the end of your video.

Darleen Byrd: I remember using all of those products and I do miss them

Kay-Ann K: Taliah wajid bamboo biotin basil curl defining cream. I think it's much better than the heavier apple and aloe creams.

TressesOfAlexis: You really just had to be there! Loved this video friend!!!

Persephone's Kisses 💋💋: Girl I still have the og Xtreme gel I make sure to stock up

KeAmber Vaughn: I didn’t realize till a few months ago that The Mane Choice Cheers collection was discontinued. That conditioner was the BEST conditioner for my hair and I used the last of my stash 2 weeks ago

LOLO 1: Happy Valentine’s Day enjoy ❤️

psr076: I think it was a mistake that they stop Tresemme Naturals. Every natural or transitioning girl was using it.. Sigh. It has changed the video of girl in there bathroom sharing there routine, transitioning and relaxed girl too.. Those were the days...

Heather Roebuck: I hoarded that Jane Carter Solution Nourish and Shine hair butter. I have 1 jar left. I'm holding on for dear life!

Fateema Johnson: This was such a great video

TheChocBeauty: You took me back in time!!! I miss them and that time!!! TY!!

Natsidyll J'can: I really appreciate this video

Sandra Crockett: Had to pause u while I searched for Botanica the mender. Found a bottle at WalMart, for $23.00 but that included shipping. Yeah, practically double the price. Bur I went for it. I’ll miss it,

Jasmine Money: Hopefully some of these come back around. They also take away the good stuff.

Ramona Faroa: Sending you arms full of love all the way from Cape Town, South Africa ❤

Christina: Remember Biologic hair products, gurllll loved me some biologic esp during my doobie days in Newark, NJ. Oh, the good ole days!

One Hamm: I miss the original herbal essences hello hydration formula. They took the silicones out.

Pixi perfect: This may be an unpopular opinion but I miss the original Aussie mega moist shampoo and conditioner

MsAMJ: Great Video ❤

Robbie Eldridge: If you haven't noticed they do it every time we find something we like!

TressesOfAlexis: Looking like a beautiful bodacious box of chocolates
