Flexi-Rod Set For Voluminous & Big Curls | 5X5 Hd Lace Closure Wig Ft. Nabeauty

In this video i'll show you all how i got this look from start to finish. So definitely stay tuned, the wig that i'll be working with comes from notbeauty.com, and this is how the wig came packaged. I received loads of goodies. You know hair clips, a hairpin, the elastic band, and i also received a nude colored stocking cap, which is a plus the wig itself, is 20 inches and it's 250 density, and this is the loose deep blade pattern. It'S an hd 5x5 closure wig and it is a size, medium cap, which i truly truly appreciate, because my head is a little bit big, but this works just fine. Here'S how the hair is in its natural state super full super, pretty first thing: first, i'm going to bleach the knots of course, so i'll be using my willa powder bleach and the 40 volume developer to mix my concoction, and i will let this sit and process On the lace for about half an hour to about 45 minutes, not super long, because it's hd lace and typically the knots bleach faster when the lace is a lot thinner. So i went ahead and i just you know, spread the mixture all over the closure. Like so and to tone the knot i like to use finola the brand fanola i like to use their no orange or no yellow shampoo. So here i just finished putting pretty much parting and customizing by plucking the closure, i'm just showing you all the finished result. I will be styling this hair by using flexi rods, and i am going to show you all how i did that so pretty much. What i'll be doing is like a dry flexi rod set. I'M used to seeing wet flexi rod set where um mousse is used, but we're just going to use a half an inch curling wand to get our curls in very small flexi rods that you can find at your beauty. Supply store just to kind of set. The curls in place and lock them in place so, as you guys, can see, i'm just wrapping wrapping the hair around the wand curler and i'm going to go in with a small flexi rod and i'm mimicking the same thing on the flexi rod. Just so that that curl pattern is just in place and it's not going anywhere, i want to show you guys again wrapping the hair around that wand curler, like so let it cool a little bit in my hand and go in with that small flexi rod. I'M not sure what size the flexi rods are. I want to say: they're like half an inch um, but they're super small and you can find them at any beauty. Supply store your local sally's. You can find them on amazon if you look online but yeah. So that's pretty much all that i'll be doing all throughout the entire wig just to ensure that this style actually comes together, as i would like it. So i'm halfway done here and you guys i use like i - i use a lot of flexi rods. I can't even tell you how many i just use a whole lot, so here i am about to take one down to show you guys the curl pattern, and here is the result of my take down so pretty so bouncy so curly, just overall beautiful. I am going to pull the curls apart, but before i do so, i'm going to use some of this silk remedy serum from the generic brand. I got it from sally's, i'm going to pretty much rub it all over my hands, as you guys can see and pull apart the curls just so that the curls are moisturized like i don't want dry, looking curls or anything of that sort. So i'm using just light serum to pull the um while i'm pulling the curls apart and i'm just ensuring that each strand is just moisturized and it's not frizzy or anything like that, and i'm just pulling the curls apart so that the style is just pretty much Super full um. I want it to look super full and full of life like so i actually um shook the mannequin uh off camera so that the the curls could kind of fluff out a little bit. I am going to remove that lace band in the front. I only put that on to kind of help, lay the um, hairline and baby hairs, and i'm just using the hot comb to just get everything together and in place like so look at that hairline i plucked it really really good and yeah. This is the style. This is how it's looking super pretty super easy to do. You know i really love flexi rods for hairstyles like this, because they just allow the curl to pop and honestly curls and wave wavy hairstyles with flexi rods. They last a lot longer. So definitely give this a try. I wanted to show you all how it looked displayed on my mannequin. It is super pretty.
