What'S up y'all, it is your girl desi keep on. If you don't know me by now. What can I say I do makeup in hair on the deceased as well: cuz honey, you sleep now, but I'm just playing I'm desi Keaton and I'm here back again with another video. If you have not already go ahead and subscribe to my channel, you won't be disappointed if you are here for the second third or aunt thing time. Welcome back your loyalty is appreciated. Today, we're going to be doing a lace closure so in using 30 inches of hair. This is actually my first time using this much hair. As far as link goes so I'm excited about this. I have already done all my prep work. The braid pattern is done. Donatus on and I'm now I'm doing my ball cap method so that we can get that frontal slay with the closure so to go ahead and get some extra support and make sure that we don't have any side or anything like that which you won't. If you decide to skip this step, but I'm just extra like there we're gon na go ahead and use a piece of tape as well. Now you can use the type of your choice, but I, like Walker, tape, I'm also using some Walker type glue. I can't remember which one, but I will put it in description box, but I'm just using that to go ahead and milk my cap down, but to lay my closure, I'm using the bold whole extreme, pink and white bottle. Handy-Dandy Old, Faithful, can't go wrong with her. She gets the job done every time, I'm using a popsicle. Stick that I've gotten from Hobby Lobby about those and bulk so that I always have one on deck, and it's gon na help me smooth out my glue so that we don't have any lumps and bumps once your glue is clear: let's go ahead and lay that Closure, so I'm just stretching it out making sure we don't have any parkland or anything like that before we start sewing and I'm gon na use the back of my cone so go ahead and press the glue down into the skin. I see a lot of people using these cones. I'Ve been using these cones for a long time, but y'all know these damn cones or high exhale, it's the carbon brand. They don't burn, they are really really good. I suggest, if you are a stylist, they use hot tools to go ahead and get you some, but they are high when in I am so like, I lose every thing, so I get so mad when I lose these homes and have to replace - and just like. I say they cost a pretty penny, but off topic I blow dried it on low heat to go ahead and continue to melt and what I'm doing right now, y'all. It'S just tweezing a few hairs out of the arm side, because I noticed that it was a little thick, so we're gon na go ahead and sell the closure down. If you did not notice in the beginning of the video, I did clip off the very beginning of each side, where the little tabs are. You want to do that, so that your closure lays flat and melts down like a fossil. You don't want that tab on the side, because it won't be as flush but the remainder of the tab. You'Re gon na go ahead and sew down and I'm just making sure that the closure meets with the side of the neck, pulling it really really tight. So that you get a flat and seamless install, so I think I finally caught up with myself y'all know I ain't really with this voiceover. So, let's just pay attention and watch while I finish throwing this closure down. You'Re, pretty sure you haven't seen this done before. So you don't need to tell me what I don't need to tell you what technique I'm doing, um pretty much just looping every time. I think we call it the bunny loop, you know we change terminology every damn day, so I'm trying to keep up, but I think it's still called the bunny little connector and I'm not ever so after so now we're on the other side and I'm just going To repeat the same steps on this side so that we can hurry up and get to the bumbles and I'm gon na tell y'all now I didn't tie so all three bundles on camera. I only came back on the end when I was sewing up. The last bundle - because I had so much going on in the salon today that filming slows me down, because I am my feeling person. I don't have anybody to do it for me and I am a stylist full-time, and I say this in all of my videos, but I just want y'all to understand that when you were stylist full-time, it's hard to film everything you do, but I would like to Start getting more videos out so hopefully in the future. I will have somebody to film for me so that I don't have to stop pause and this that and the other, because I'm not gon na, feel them straight through anything cuz. I don't want to have to edit all the damn footage, so all that's stopping in between if it slows you down on your client and then your clients that are waiting or getting antsy as well so um, hopefully in the new future. I can get that. You know fixed up for you guys so that I can start filming more of my work. Yeah, I'm still slowing down as closure. So what else can I talk about? Hmm, oh, let's talk about this. This hip nasai going on excuse my look but, like I said I look bad, for I can make y'all look good. So that's how we gon na do that today. We'Re gon na blame it on me being a hair stylist, which is the truth. Everybody make everything. Look pretty on YouTube and you know that's what it's here for that's what was supposed to do, but at the end of the day, every culture I touch ain't, always easy. Every form of art search ain't, always easy YouTube ain't, easy doing, hair in the shop ain't! Easy, so guess what, when my clients booked that nine o'clock appointment, I know damn well, I don't get up for 10:00 or 11:00 and um they booked that appointment and I got to get up. That'S what I look like. So that's what y'all got today so anywho. Damn it took, I don't know, maybe I should have yeah add that up a little bit more but anyway, we finally finishing up slowing down this closure y'all and we're gon na go ahead and get to the bundles. Now I don't know where she got her hair from. She did tell me it was Aliexpress, but if she told me the actual vendor or whatever they're called on Aliexpress company um, I don't remember, but before I post this video I'll make sure to ask her so that I can put that in the description box along With any products, so let's go ahead. I lied. We'Re not gon na. Do the bonus we're gon na do the baby hairs because with the closure, you want to go ahead and do your milk down first, because once you tie it down with your lace, wrap or your scarf you're, not gon na be able to sell the tricks as Easy as you would, if you were doing a frosting, so we're gon na go ahead and do the baby hairs and melt her down first, so that we can go back and do the closure. I'M sorry. I keep pausing and stuff for people in and out of my room, I'm doing my voiceover and my room, I'm trying to hide from the kids, my husband just locked in. If somebody just brought me my food, I got too much going on, but we're gon na get through this today. So just don't mind me because I live life. This is my life. This is hectic, I'm not gon na pretend for y'all. Like you know, I got this immaculate air setup and you know now I'm doing this at home and and whatever I got going on in background y'all gon na be a part of and one of these days, I'm actually film in the shop. You know uh knitted. It and everything if y'all want to see that. Let me know down in the comments section you get to hear all the talking we do in the shop and the blue person the mess ups and all of that so anywho. You want to make sure that you use the eyebrow razor or scissors. I prefer eyebrow-raising me personally so go ahead and cut those baby hairs as short as possible. Today I am fusing my own baby hair mousse that um I created to go ahead and mold. Those baby hairs and once we get the mold and I'm gon na use, my lace wrap to go ahead and tie them down and she's gon na go under the dryer for about 10 to 15 minutes on a medium heat, that's what I'm using so um. Typically, I do use my bio silk silk essentials to go ahead and comb out the baby hairs, but they were just laying so smooth and they were already soft that I didn't need to comb them out. I just like the way it was melted down, but if you want to calm yours out at this time, you go ahead and do so using a small tooth comb or the little comb, that's on the opposite end of the edge brush. Sometimes I use that so now we're on the bundles or the bundle shall I say, cuz I ain't gon na lie cheat a child, but I just could not do three whole bundles on camera today. Oh, this is already 40 minutes of footage that I had to edit down. So if I did all bundles on camera, there's just been too much so we're going ahead and so on the last bundle up, and so this closure. You want to just go ahead and do the flip over method. If you are familiar with that, if you still cut your tracks, then that's fine too, but whatever floats your boat. You don't have to do everything that I do. This is just basically to show you my techniques and I learned stuff from other people as well. You'Ve heard me mention other people's names and my videos and things like this or I'm not the creator of you - know these techniques, I'm just sharing what I do and you can take from that and kind of do what you do, but I don't think no we're Not doing any curls today so we're just going to press her out and do a bone straight. Look today today is actually prom here at most of the high schools here in the part of Louisiana that I'm in you guys. So this is actually gon na. Be her prom hairstyle, she is doing a 30 inch bone straight sleek. Look, I would be doing her makeup later, but I probably won't be able to film that on because she will be at that point of time and a rush to get there. Cuz we're doing a makeup like the hour before, and I don't want to slow myself down because, like I say, filming does slow me down. But if makeup is something that you guys want to see from me, um I'll be glad to go ahead of film videos. Like that, for you guys wan na, let you know I can beat the hell out of a face job, but I don't live wing long a and I love different eyeshadows. I ain't really with that, but I can do basic glam. So if you want to see it, let me know if not, we can keep going with this hair thing and I'm cool with that too. This is the end. Yeah we're gon na go ahead and not that cut the thread off. If you have any excess hair cut, that I'll shoot everything, but like one little piece of track and it wouldn't work me trying to find a place to put it, she is wearing the middle part today. So we're gon na go ahead and make sure that we get that part centered and straight I'm very particular about my parts. It'S like a pet peeve of mine and I'm left-handed, but for some reason I comb with my right hand. So it's like harder for me to park for some reason: cuz. For some reason, I can't do it with my left hand. I just have to do it with that right hand and, like I said, I'm not right-handed, but I don't know, I just said makes me backwards and then I just like cuz, I'm using my left hand. Now. So I don't know child whatever, but we got the part in there and I am using my karekare wax stick to go ahead and smooth that out get her ready for our favorite tool, which is our hot comb. You know I can't do nothing without that when you're doing a closure and a frontal, this is your best friend, it's like almost impossible to do it. Without these, I'm not gon na, say almost to me, it is impossible, like I can't use the plug-in pressing home. I can't use the curling iron. I can't use nothing that I'd have to have my pressing home. I feel like it just solidifies to slay her knee. Like I don't know, that's just me, ain't got ta, be you anywho. Look at that part, though it's everything and she's melted, just like a fossil just what I expected from a nice for about foreclosures to give you that so catfish and if she had a five-by-five, it would have been even better. But I do like the 6x6 closures in the 7 by 7 closures, but so being honest with you, I mean you can get away with that. Look with the 5 by 5. You don't have to have spend all that money for two extra inches that don't really make a damn difference. I mean if you need seven inches, which I did review my seven by seven closure. So you know this just shows y'all how I keep it real. If you're gon na do seven by seven, you might as well do a dam from him, because at the end of the day, if you was looking for closure, four by four or five by five would suffice. If you want a frontal, look, if you already at 7 inches across your forehead, you might as well go ahead and complete the rest of them and get you a 13 by 4 or 13 by 6 and do what you do, because I still ended up having To own at least four guys to be spray, or something like there to make sure that it stayed down, or you know you can put the spray on your baby hairs and make your baby hair stick to your forehead or whatever you want to do to keep It from coming off, but you can't just wear by itself. You have to have that elastic bands, tight timing to wear by itself and I'm just keeping around not gon na tell you no lies. You know how I say when people be with this whole clueless in style and not to me, glueless install and I'm repeating this from cliff Amir, because I did agree when he said the glueless install means that you have cones in their last event. It doesn't mean that you don't need any adhesive. You know, but everybody's coming up with these different techniques that they're using, which is still glue to me, to keep a frontal down and to me when you do use the glue it just makes the milk look better to me. But you know, that's me and I ain't nobody, so we're gon na keep this going. I'M using my fabulous titanium, don't know the rest of the name of it, but there's one of my favorite eyes, because I can't take a large amount of hair at a time. In the heat still disperses evenly and I can get that bone straight, look in half the time, so this is like one of my go-to irons. I did purchase another iron on I wan na say it was from Konya. It was the black one with the rainbow titanium plates, and I saw it on Erika trade using it and guard YouTuber your life up, I'm not gon na lie. Every time. I see a new youtuber, I'm not a new youtuber youtuber using a new product. I feel like I got to have it like, I feel like I got to have it and I go and get it and sometimes I don't even use it. Sometimes I use it and don't like it, but anywho don't go out and go broke. Give me stuff. Just because we have it, if you have something that works good for you, keep there don't go broke, but I will say: if you look like you, can do some damage with these tools. It look like you can make it happen, invest in yourself and buy the products that you feel like it's gon na help you get better but definitely don't go broke prioritize and I say that could say I didn't really like the Conair and too much but Haley. It works wonders for Erica J, but hey it just didn't. Do it for me, so imma stick with my babble is on titanium, whatever the rest is called, and we are pretty much done with this look ya'll. I know I talked child to death. I hope I didn't bore y'all. However, I just felt like being personable and talking to you guys so yeah this is about this is it this is the finished.
