Alright guys so here's the hair that I used to create this closure, I'll put the information and the information bar or the description box, and I also purchased some gold color tool, lace from jo-ann fabrics, and I got about a quarter of a yard for 37 cents. So that was pretty cool. The hair is a loose deep, so other tools that you will be using are listed here and you will need a very small latch hook, needle so first I'm gon na start by using my drawing skills now one. I don't even know why I use the lace, but I just took some paper towel and I drew or sketched a three inch you like a capital. U shape to create my lace closure guideline now. This is called venting the lace closure and I'm actually using a latch, hooking method where you would slip the latch hook, needle underneath the lace, pull the hair and then pull the rest of the hair through the loop that you created. It'S easy by taking the bulk hair and creating a look between your fingers or around your forefinger. So it's a little bit easier to grab the hair and you want to try and grab small amounts of hair at a time in this one. I actually was grabbing larger pieces closer to the outer edge of the. U and then, when I got a little bit closer to the inner part where the part of the lace closure was going to be. I tried to go a little bit smaller, but this is my first one in a very very long time and actually my first lace closure that I'm making for a week. So I really enjoyed doing this, but it took me five hours to do this here on a mat for hours and tried very hard to keep it going, but it didn't take me long. I did have to double the lace because I snatched some areas a little bit, so I had to put another piece of lace underneath it and fill in the holes that I may have created from tearing the lace. So finally, here we are five hours later looks very similar to an invisible part, and this is the hair that I used and some extra that I've lost. This is what it looks like underneath you can see the double lace and where I had cost some snacks, but was able to complete it in five hours, and this is what it looks like. So I was super excited at how it came out. I am definitely going to be making another one but check one of these links out. It is the video to how I created this wig using the lace closure that I made so check that out and I will be seeing you guys in the next video

Natasha James: This video has opened my mind. As a Profesional cosmetologist, I am always looking for ways to increase revenue. I'm not sure what your profession, but may God bless you 100 fold for your transparency, eagerness to share your gifts and talents, and ability to bless others like me. Thank you

DiamondDime214: You go girl! This closure came out awesome! I can't wait to try this myself. I look forward to seeing any more videos you may have about making your own closures because they can be quite expensive.

Michelle Walters-Johnson: Thank you SO much for this video! I've been telling myself to go to the fabric store and see if I can buy lace and figure out how to make my own lace closures, since they are so darn expensive. This video and your subsequent ones have inspired me and shown me how to make my own affordable lace front wigs! You are so talented. God bless!

shymultimedia: How AWESOME is this? Thanks so much for posting this video! My Mama taught me the basics of sewing, and I'm so glad she did! Now I can create any texture or color combo I want and it look totally natural! It looks pretty fun and definitely inexpensive, I can't wait to try it! THANK YOU!!! :)

A'rora Dixon: This video is a life saver I swear!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL!!!! I love that the closure isn't bulky and can be "parted" in any direction (: Thanks again

Resha Pesha: this is amazing thank you for sharing it came out beautifully

Simone S.: I commend your patience, creativity and talent! I've never seen this before!

LaChonda D: I just started wig making. I'm so glad that I found this. This video is very helpful. I believe in looking good at fraction of the cost what these companies at charging for wigs and closures. Now I can learn how to make my own closures as well! Thanks so much for this!!

TemzVGBG: Omg love this sooo much! Now I can save some money by making my own one. Looks lush!

Just Cherelle: This is beautiful! and your the only one on youtube that i have seen who actually did their own closure. thank you for sharing it took me over 40 minutes to find a video with someone who really knows how to make a lace closure

RosePru: Beautiful video. Gives me even more ideas. There is one powerful statement I heard you make, irrespective of the length of time it took you to make the closure "I enjoy doing this"... #loveIt

A Woman On Assignment: Great, that would be great! I just purchased some bundle remy and the part it came with is an open part, like the sage part, and I want to convert it and give it the appearance of a lace closure/invisible part.

honorthelegend1: This was so great thank you for sharing your method and skill

ilka nelson: WOW this is amazing!! You did such a great job!!

dohair6000: So amazing!! I gonna try my hand at it. I just hope patience is my friend:-). Thank You for sharing Hun!!

urbanjunglejewelry: Amazing!!! Thank you so kindly to sharing. I can't wait to give it a try.

All Trends With Samore: You're awesome girl, I don't have patience for this . Making uparts is already tedious enough for me. Lol great job

BeautyCutright: So cool! When you get a chance check out the video on how I applied this lace closure to a wig and hot glued it. It shows a technique on how to fix that extra fabric issue. Let me know if it doesn't make sense to you. I hope it helps =)

Opinionated: Wow, this is such a cool tutorial. I really want to make one now. :D

1JFlower09: WOW!! Girl you are truly talented!! Thanks for sharing!

BeautyCutright: If you are experiencing shedding from the lace closure you made, it maybe that you didnt make sure that the knots were tight and secure when you did it. I havnt had a problem with shedding however, I believe their are videos on how to seal wefts or lace closures...look it up =)

BeautyCutright: Thanks! I plan to announe soon that I will be making wigs and closures for anyone who lives outside where I live. Im in Detroit. However, ebay and amazon have great lace closures around $50, which is what I charge for my clients here locally =)

Dominique W.: I'm so glad I came across this video. I refuse to spend hundreds of dollars on a closure I'm sure could be made by myself. It's really worth the five hours. Thanks so much.

Virgo Saulter: WOW! Ive never seen this done before. Creative!!

Deonna Renae: Thank you for this video, I intend on making one & this method is alot more affordable than buying a lace closure.

favoured: You did a great job! However, I don't want to spend 5 hours to do my closure. Is it possible to sew in the hair into the lace with a band/yarn instead?

BeautyCutright: I got it from a beauty supply store. It came with a kit for fusion hair...but they do sell them separately. Also try a fabric, craft, or hobby store =)

BeautyCutright: lol! Thanks! Make sure you check out the video of how I applyed this closure to a wig I made so you can see it could look as natural as an exspensive wig too! Let me know if you have any questions =)

Pmomma100: I have actually made an entire lace wig four years ago with this tulle lace and this kind of latch hook needle. I created a plastic mold for the lace wig and put the lace on it. It was the best looking lace wig I owned. The hairline was flawless. I'm so glad someone else knows about using these materials. Its great for the DIYers. Great Video!

Cassyp4cLife: Awesome Chica! Thanks for sharing this!!!

BeautyCutright: Actually Yes to every question you have asked.....lol You can also try an easier closure like turning an invisble part closure into a lace closure. I have that video posted in my Wig Making 101 Series Playlist =)

Mahogany Coy: you got my attention hunny I was like HOW is this about to work out lol but you did an amazing Job!! I would most definitely try this!

BeautyCutright: Cool! I have the same saga part closure. I will be uploading it this month =)

BeautyCutright: Wow! You are so welcome. I totally agree =) I will be doing another one soon so stay tuned =)

Virgy92335: Omg awesome! This is soooo cool to me.. Totally inspired! Thanks

Queen-lee Mi...: Girl since watching your videos I habe created like two wigs and working on a third im also going to make one of these ill get my lace from his and hers.com and get one of those integrating needles too. I thank you for making this video because no one else has yet. I am also trying to figire out the best way to make the hot glie gin wigs sit flush on my head when they are too big because of the extra fabric from the dome cap.

Tomi A-P: Well, that was amazing! You are CRAZY talented! I never comment on youtube videos, but I am INSPIRED! New subsciber here!

Justified Savage: This was so informative... Short and to the point.. I am a new hairstylist and have been talking to other hairstylist about how to make closures but they have trying to keep this a secret... Thank you so much for this video

Eunji Jeon: Your videos are so helpful. thank you. What kid of lace did you use? What things should I concern when I choose the lace?

Dominique W.: Please do and I'm definitely looking out for it...you are so awesome

Maiakochka: hey girl you made a great job ! how many packs did you use for making you closure ? one of 100g or more ? thanks ;)

MeMe Vii: This was so helpful, I will be using this method for a wig in May. Can this be used for perimeter lace front, sides & back as well?

BeautyCutright: Depending on how long the bulk hair is you want to fold in half or leave about 3-4 inches on the shorter side =)

wythlovy: Wow this was great, I just found you. You made it so easy how to make the lace part. I'm checking out your other videos.

BeautyCutright: OMG! I just subscribed to your channel....lol. WOW! You should do a video on creating the plastic mold for the lace wig. How long did it take you to complete the whole wig?

BGIRL151534: I am gonna do this my 13 year daughter watches you also and she did her first quick weave and mines. Thanks for your teaching

BeautyCutright: Yay! You are welcome. I hope everything works out and let me know if you have any questions =)

fianicole: The best lace closure how to video I seen on YouTube thank you SOOOOO much!!!

leastheone: Loved this! Searched for a video like this about a year ago on here. Worth the wait! I am still on the hunt for lace but the tulle I found looked and felt similar. What makes a material suitable for hair? I may try the tulle for practice but if it comes out well..could I wear it on my head?

SirenSea_Reviews_Aquariums: Wow!!! Amazing I didnt know you could do it yourself. Thats cray cray. Your an artist!!

Beauty Beasting It!: Girl, you did that! Great video!

BeautyCutright: Ooooo! Please don't kill me for responding so late....lol. I am not sure of the size. All I know is that it is very small. I got it from a beauty supply store with the keritin rings kit when fusion weaving was popular in 2009. You should be able to find at a fabric or craft store. Thanks for watching and if you have any other questions let me know =)

Winter Spring: Finally someone has said where they get the lace from. Thank you!

BeautyCutright: Ooooo! Please don't kill me for responding so late....lol. For a 4x4 closure you will barely use a quarter of a pack of hair. One pack of hair can do about 3 closures at that size =) Thanks for watching and if you have any other questions let me know =)

BeautyCutright: I got my latch hook needle from a local beauty supply store for when the trend was karatin hair fusions. I do not know what the measurement it....but it should be very small to thread hair through net lace. Try a craft or hobby lobby store =)

Patrice Williams: Thank you for showing me this!!!! I have hope. How did you make the rest of the wig?

Delena Muhammad: I can tell you love what you do because your work is beautiful. It takes patience.

Mary Ledesma: Hello Beauty cutright!!! what type of hook did you use to make your lace closure? Looks great btw. ..

BeautyCutright: Latching and hooking what? It is already in the video. Also the information on where to find the materials are in the description box. =) The small latch hook needle can be found at a craft store or a hobbie lobby too!

coffeedesbeans: Great tutorial! Where did you purchase the lace from?

ErilynRose: Thank you for posting this, it answers all my questions.

Toni Smith: Thank you so much where did you get you tiny latch hook?

BeautyCutright: Actually the lace that I have in the video is a tulle lace....so you should be able to do the same thing and make a wig with it. I do have a video of me installing this diy closure for a wig. Make sure you check that out too =)

ZJtheLegend: Omg! You're the bomb!! Creating the closure looks like a fun project. Thanks for the 411!

BeautyCutright: I like the Yes One hair a lot cause it tangles less and you can curl it on high heat. I will always love the sensationel hair better though. The freetress...I havnt used that hair often enough to make a good review of it yet. But right now yes one and sensationel are great. =)

hermusicsoundsgood: Awesome tutorial!

Tasha Smith-Lynch: I like this. So that's how you make a lace closure. I'm going to use this method thank you so much for showing us how to do this.

1goodlife: Thank you for this video. I have some loose hair that I purchased to do crochet with but it didn't work because the hair was too straight. I'm going to try this.

Lanae Kellee: WoW!!! i am very impressed. u did a great job!!!!!!

LivinNLaffin: This is amazing!

enaruvie: Soo beautiful. Lovely hair and skin too. Now 5 hrs? I'm sure it's really worthwhile but a massive time investment which I may be unable to afford :(. I just subbed you are very talented.

Thismomlovesmakeup91: omgosh I watched your video I did everything you did and it took me 3 weeks but I love it thank you so much for making this video it was so cheap and I used left over hair I want to make a full lace wig any tips for that

CherieIsAqT1: This is incredible...imma go shopping now and try and find me one of those small latch hooks.

MeMe Vii: Girl it is cool I understand divas stay busy & Thank you for the response. If at all possible could you do a tutorial on making a front, side & back lace & possibly the wig too? If it is too much & too time consuming I understand.

Intuitive xoxo: Great job!! where did you get your latch hook needle?

BeautyCutright: No problem...working on it now =)

Evelyn G: How much of it did you fold for the loop???

Dante Velasquez: nice. such patience with that ventilating!

Ms. Von: OMG! Girl what can't you do???? I have a crochet needle for a hair style I was going to do but lost my nerve for crochet braids...lol Now I can buy some lace and make an inexpensive closure that looks costly! Thank you for these ideas! I am glad I found your videos!!

Henna: I have seen store bought lace front wigs and I don't think they look as natural as your lacing does, I like it and I will try this out. Thanks for posting:)

BeautyCutright: It happened to me too....I was pulling too hard....take your time you need good lighting cause that lace is a bit hard to see.....lol. To finish it off just add another layer of lace underneath and fill in the gaps I think I showed that in the video =)

Rose Osby: I'm finally getting the concept thank u great video

From A Naturals Point of View: When your latch hooking the hair are you doing one whole at a time many wholes?

lovinhair: Where did you get you latch hook from? I have been looking for one that is that small and cannot find it. Also, can you share the measurements of the latch hook?

Ashley Kirkendoll: Hello first off thank you I have been thinking how I could create my own lace closure but my question to you is how do u keep the hair from comin out of the lace once its somewhat sewn in

BeautyCutright: I got mine from a beauty supply store when karitin fussions were popular. Try a craft or fabric store =)

BeautyCutright: Thanks! The information is in the description box below the video =)

Toya Elaster: you did an excellent job great skills

Nkechi Enwereji: Wow you are amazing I been watching all your videos you have a new subbie :)
