WATCH IN HD, SUBSCRIBE & SHARE THE LOVE...

Hey loves,

Today I'll be showing you how I achieved my sleek straight unit/wig. Including how I sew down a lace closure, as well as several bundles of hair onto a cap, to make a wig.

I do this method for every single wig I make.

I do hope the methods I have shown, are helpful to you in some way.

Enjoy x

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today I am back with a hair tutorial of how I layed and slayed this sleek straight unit, start-to-finish style. Yes, yes, yes, he even includes a lace closure with tutorial, like you guys have been asking me for, and I finally got the chance to do that for you guys today. So I hope you guys enjoy this video and I hope you find it informative. I do think the lighting goes a bit in and out in the week making part, but I hope you guys found it helpful and you were able to follow it through honestly guys I can't even lie. This is one of the hardest videos for me to film. Honestly, so much effort went into it, so I hope you guys do enjoy it and you do find it useful and if you do don't forget to give it a thumbs up and comment below all set and what else well, as you guys know, I do make My own units - I just I don't wear Wiis with servings and all that kind of stuff. I make my unit and I do make units for clients as well. So if you are interested in getting a unit made by me, I will link my Instagram page here for you to check out and some of my work that I've done for some of my clients, and I will also leave my email address here as well. For you to guys check out so yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed this video. As I said so much effort went into it and I do hope you guys enjoy it. So yeah don't forget to thumbs up, subscribe and comment below, and I will see you my next video bye, guys yeah. What you're going to need for your wig is some bundles of hair. Obviously your lace, closure and some thread a pair of scissors needle and some T pins, which are optional, but I just like to use it to keep the hair in place when I'm serving and then you also off see them use your mannequin head and your wig Cap, the first thing I like to do is I pin my closure down to my wig cap and my mannequin head just so everything is lined up in place and it just makes it so much easier to sew down. So once it's all pinned down with the T pins, I just begin serving it down and when you're sewing it down, you want to make sure all your stitching is really close together and also really tight, because you want this to be as late as possible. So as I'm seven I'm just making knots in the thread, I guess just looping it around a thread and then pulling it through. So I like to sew down one side and then I'll pull and make the other side taut and then out sew down the other side and then I'll sew down the back of the closure. I hope that makes sense, for you all see you in the video you. So this is what the closure looks like. One is all sewn down. As you can see, the stitching is really close together and it's super super flat and no bumps or anything. So it's now time to start our bundles and when starting a track to go through the wefts rather than around the west, just so it's nice and secure and then throughout the hair. I will just sew around the tracks. For the first two point I did double the weft just so I can make it nice and full, especially at the bottom, and also I wanted all the head to fit in. So when I get to the end, I don't cut my West at all. I just fold them over and I just stitch back up and carry on going. I do not like cotton wefts because I just think it adds to the shedding. So I let you just flip it make it as flat as possible, and then I just keep on stitching. So it does get a bit tedious watching me go back and forth and just serve in the track. So I'm just going to speed it up and I will be back to show you how I showed the final tracks by the closure. So I'm not sure if it's clear from the video, but basically for the third and the fourth bundle I basically didn't double the tracks. I just left them as they are and under building my guess, but just because I wanted the top to be really really flat and not bulky at all. So I like the volume to be more so at the bottom than at the top. So I'm going to keep on sewing 7/7 legate's to closure, and you will see how I sew my last track so for the last and final track I like to so the last track of the hair and attach it to the closure. I really hope that makes sense, but basically you don't want there to be any gap whatsoever. You don't see the cap, you don't see the money can head, you don't see anything. You just want to serve the track onto the edge of the closure. Just so everything is all seamless and all put together and there are really no gaps at all in the hair. I hope that makes sense, but you guys can see it a bit better in the video. I hope so we are finally all done with our wig, and this is what it looks like. I know it's not looking so laid right now, but they're alright, as soon as we style it, and as soon as we get it together, it's going to look super super SuperDuper cute, so yeah, it's gon na be wanted to start it now. The first thing I like to do is cut off the excess cap from underneath the closure. Just so it's literally just your scalp coming through and just makes it super late, as you can see right there. So if you're going for a super sleek look like I'm going, you have to go in with your stylin and are no shortcut, so you have to take it section by section and straighten it all out because basically wanting to look filleted and possible. So that's what I'm doing right here, just taking small sections first and then I'm just raisin in it. Then I take more sections and straighten it and that's what I like to do so I basically divided it. I did about a third of it and then I'll do another third and then another third, what you see it, but basically the whole point is to take your time when straightening this hair, because you want it to be as late as possible and you want it To just slay, basically so again it does get a bit tedious and a bit time-consuming watching me straighten this whole hair because, as I said, I let you just take small sections comes going to fast forward it and I'll come back to you and show you the Finish with, and can I also just say guys this straight now by Remington, they're wide plate ceramic straighteners amazing they are so born. They'Re literally, I don't even have worse as their buddies, alliterative best I've ever used in my life honestly. So this is what our completed wig looks like. As I said before, I will have a separate video to show you how I laid my closure just because it's a bit more detailed - and I just wan na show you guys properly. So it's downtime spot on our bad boy of a wig, and I'm just going to quickly apply that for you guys on camera. Also, you want to make sure that your hair under your wig is SuperDuper flat and because you want it to be as late as possible and because it's not big hair, it's not curly hair. You call me a mask that, so you basically just want your hair. Is needs to be as flat as possible. I absolutely love this hair. A rich came up the way I wanted it to. I do have a review of this hair on my channel to check that out if you're interested, but honestly this week is giving me life exactly what I needed to add to my collection. Look at that, but yet anyway guys. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and were able to follow it through, don't forget to thumbs up and comment below also - and I will see you guys in my next video bye, guys

MakeWayForCJ: OMG! This wig is soooo flat! I love it! The only thing is that the first detail that caught my eye after the flatness was how straight the part was. It's so straight that it doesn't look natural. Have you thought about plucking out the part so that it doesn't look so clean? I ask because that's literally the only way someone would know that it's a wig! Other than that, it's super perfect! So much so that I'm definitely going to take your advice and flat iron my next unit on the mannequin head instead of on my head and hope that helps to get mine as flat as yours because that's always been a problem for me! Thanks so much for uploading this! :)

Ke’la Johnson: LOVE THE VIDEO! Taught me everything I need to know to make my wigs!!! Thank you

barb.: beautiful unit! as a beginner I would've loved if the video was slower as you sewed on though (I know there are countless others that do, but) the thread looked so neat in this unit I wanted to catch every single detail Lol, <3.

Leah Muamba: This wig is the BOMBBBBBBB, I cannot stress this enough DAMNNNN

Esther Baby: I love the hair it's so pretty!

Atinuke Okeyemi: so nice! how do you secure the cap to your head without using an elastic band

Satchie Babe: Hi shortie love the way u r stepping up and also making more videos for your fans. It's a pleasure to watch. Just one question why didn't you use a heat proctor when styling?.

Ms. Perfectly Imperfect: Great tutorial

OldSoul JS80: Did you bleach the knots on your closure? Great tutorial by the way.

Miss Nicki: Soooooo sleeeek! ❤️

Sydne Hamlin: When sewing down the closure did you go through the elastic? I know with the bundles you just went through the fabric but I couldn't tell for the closure

Just Anniee: does wearing a wig on your head before applying the wig make it secure for you?

Rose Kuunuu: This is so nice

San Arsenal: Can you use any products on this ?

M Nicole: Did you cut through the elastic after you constructed the wig?

ashleybreanna1996: Did you sew through the elastic on the dome cap or did you just sew through the fabric and not the elastic?

Anna Mayimbi: Is this a silk closure?

Quack Q: What are using to hold the wig head onto the table please ? Is it a clamp or tripod?

Cherish0887: I prefer the mesh dome cap

Kat O: Is that a wig clamp? Where did you get it?

Karina H-B: At 5:44 , the bundle was finished. So what happens then. Because wouldn't the next bundle be a different length and then it will look weird because it's on the same line? I hope that makes sense. Please explain what u done after that

gods beauty on earth: So the cap didn’t shrink what’s is the secret?

Deyoncè City: good job

Mel: how do you get your wig head to stay down? mine always move all over the place

Toni McDowell: Hi your wig looks great I was wondering if your wig head was the same size as your head or if since the cap is so stretchy it doesn't matter and you can just put it on your head.

Abby Asante: please please can you send the link of where you got the closure

Tammy Williams: Nice

Fedna Jean: Do you make wigs for people?

angel caldwell: pretty

Geministar616: do you sell wigs?
