How To| Lace Closure Bob Wig Simple Steps

Hello, everybody, so here is a tutorial on the bob wig that i made for my sister's wedding, and i have three bundles here and i'm going to show you the bundles. I forgot how long they were. I believe they were like 14 inches. I purchased this from the doula, okay, three bundles and a closure. This is what the track is looking like. I'M sorry, the the wefts are looking like, i'm sorry and basically they're pretty thick, because this is unprocessed virgin hair and the closure is a middle part. Okay and i'm showing you the beards here, that's what they call like the beards. The beards are pretty good there, as you guys can see there all right, and this is prior to washing it, because i did wash it after the fact after this clip. Okay, don't worry about that hole right there i do take. I mean i do cut the lace, so that's not a problem um, and this is what the closure is. Looking at. Sorry, looking like prior to bleaching, so i do have to bleach the knots just a little bit because it's only a middle part in the front part. Okay, so, as you guys can see here, so i'm basically inspecting it and the hair doesn't smell at all. On the doula here is pretty good so far. I believe this is my second time purchasing from them, so they seem to be pretty decent. So this is what the closure is. Looking like just the middle part, there's no free part, all right, so you're going to need some t-pins, of course, that came with block head and a mesh dome cap. Okay, you guys see, has holes um yeah, i'm not really fond of holes, but these holes are pretty good, so i was able to get through it, but this is what it looks like um the closure to what it looks like bleach, and i do have a Video on how to bleach the closures and frontal, so if you want to check that out, please check the description bar below. I will put that down there. I didn't show it on here, because i do have a video on it, so i do it. The exact same way, okay, i put that at the same time, because i definitely styled this unit the day before my sister's wedding, so but um. This was probably like a couple weeks before um, when i basically sewed it, but i it's the styling portion. I did do it right before the wedding. Okay, all right and also you will need some pre-threaded needles just to make the process go faster when you are making a wig. Okay, all right, so i place the closure on first, that's how i usually make my units. I do the closure first, okay and i'm basically you know when i go through the front part of the mesh dome cap. I make sure that i do not get the elastic band because sometimes when you get the elastic band, you can um um get rid of the elasticity. So i make sure that i'm cut i'm sewing through the fabric. If you will, when i'm at the front of the um unit - okay - so that's basically about that, but once i get to like the back around the sides or what have you um? I don't have to worry about that. But when i'm in the band area of the mesh dome cap, you have to be careful and just um, make sure that you sew up the fabric part and not the elastic part in the fabric. If you will, if that makes any sense, sorry if it doesn't but yeah, so i try to explain that all the time in my videos - okay, all right, so i'm basically sewing the closure on first and now i am sewing on the wefts and i do over And under when i first start off with the wefts, i'm sorry with the tracks, i basically start off with sewing through the wefts um, like you know, through the tracks, and then after that i go over and under because the tracks are. The wefts are very thick because it's unprocessed hair - it's not thin, so it would hurt my fingers when i'm trying to push it through there. But if you can do it go ahead, but i do over and under and then when i get to the ends. I always sew through the wefts. So when i do the fold-over method - and i do the fold-over method when i first start out and then when i get to the top, i start cutting the wefts. A lot of people don't like to cut the wefts because they believe that it, you know it sheds a lot and things of that sort, but the hair is going to shed anyway. So it's okay with me um, because i don't want it to get too bulky when it gets to the top of the hair, so by me cutting it will make it flatter. If you will, i think so i you know, maybe a lot of people don't like that, but it makes it flatter if you will so that's just basically it about that but yeah. So i just basically just go over and under, as you guys can see here, self-explanatory um. I do a lot of units on here. So um you guys know how i do it. So that's just basically it about that. So yes, i'm going over under over and under and then i basically you know, tie a knot when i can and that's just basically it about that. Okay, you guys. So that's just what it is and i will come back and also the cutting part of this of this video i did not show because again i was rushing and i was doing this uh. I was styling this i was just the sewing part. Um was like two weeks before my sister's wedding, but the styling part was a day before my sister's wedding, so i did cut the i did cut it and then i cut a little bit on camera. So when i do a bob again because i'm going to perfect my bob's when i do another bob, i will show you the process of cutting. You know styling the hair from beginning to the end, so you guys could see because i i cheated you guys on that, and i really apologize about that and i really feel bad because this video was not as detailed as i wanted to be because of the Cutting part of this video, okay, all right, so i'm showing you guys a little bit of this part. I did cut that the excess um i'm sorry, i did cut the extra part of the in the closure area. Okay, as you guys can see here, i'm cutting a little bit um. You know anything that looks a little off or whatever, okay, all right, all right. So on the inside of here, as you guys can see, i am going to basically sew in some comb. So this is the day before the wedding um. I was basically selling this on combs just in case, so i had three combs in the in the unit, so i i sewed two cones on the sides and one on the back just to have the wig secure. So it won't fall off or slide off and it definitely did help and plus i have thick locks so that helped as well so um. That'S basically about that, and then i use my revlon bumper or bevelers whatever you want to call them to. You know make a nice little bump and you guys i don't use any product, because i want the hair to flow and the only product that i should have probably got was you know to calm down the frizz like some tresemme, something to cut down the frizz, But that's it um, not no oil, sheen or anything, no grease, no oil. I don't use none of that because you don't want to weigh down the hair for any reason. So the only thing that i used on this unit was um, shampoo and conditioner, and that's it i did not put any oil in it. I did not put any heat protectant or anything in the case. You don't need none of that, because you want the wig to flow as nicely as as can be okay, you don't want any interruptions or you don't want it to be. Looking like stiff okay, like you, don't want it to be, like you know, gorilla glue, glue, girl, it don't move my head, it don't move. Y'All, look. Y'All, look got a little stiff wear, you know, so you don't want that stiff wear type deal. So i'm gon na make sure that you're getting you know the nice flow, because you don't want your hair. Turning with your head, you want the hair to follow. You know when you turn your head, your hair, to come through. You don't flow through. If you know what i mean, you don't want your hair moving with your head, because that means it's stiff. Okay, you don't know stiff bob all right, so that's basically about that, but yeah so um. That'S basically about that! So yeah! So um i'm basically showing this and that's it basically so self-explanatory. I'M sorry! So the next time i do a bottle, i'm definitely going to show you how i first cut it. I do have clippers because a lot of people do use clippers, but i don't know where they are so i may have to purchase some more, but just to get it. Like a blunt blunt cut, i guess people use clippers as well so, but i did have some nice good scissors or what have you um so yeah? I'M definitely going to show you guys again because i'm definitely going to do this again. Okay, so again i style this prior to my sister's wedding and um. I was kind of rushing.
