Hey guys, it's your girl bubbles, if you're new here welcome and if you're returning thank you, don't forget to hit that subscribe button. The notification bell so you're notified whenever i post a new video. If you find this video helpful, give it a thumbs up thanks for stopping by and i'll see in another one bye. So here i have a 24 inch. Wig head, slash, mannequin head a dumb cap and a lace frontal some needles you're going to need some threads. So this lace, frontal actually is a used lace, frontal um, i've used it before all i did is just wash it and i'm gon na reuse it in this video, i'm just tying the hair back with some rubber band and getting it out the way. So we can start so you're gon na bring your lace frontal forward like an inch or so past the beginning of the dome cap. So, like you see me pulling down wherever that dome cap stops you're gon na bring that lace, frontal forward and then you're gon na pin it down like i'm doing. The reason for that is, if you start at the tip of the dome cap and not bring that lace frontal down your wig, is going to be too small is not going to fit your head. So that's the reason why i'm doing this. In addition to that, i'm just pulling that lace, frontal sideways and pinning it as i go. So when i start to sew on, you know make the actual wig it'll prevent it from moving around, and it will be exactly you know intact, where i want it to be so, make sure you're doing this step, make sure you measure your head and know how Big your head is, my head is really big. So that's why i'm using a 24 inch um, so yeah the size is gon na differentiate based on your head. So what i did is just parted, the lace frontal in the middle and then i'm starting to sew. It down moving from one side to the other, very simple. So when you're sewing your lace, frontal down or any part of the hair down, make sure you're not sewing onto the thickest part of the cap, like that, thick being that you see that dark black parts, um there's some on the side and maybe like two in The middle do not sew onto that, because it's gon na mess with the stretch of the cap. So if you sew onto it, it's gon na make your cap tighter like right here, even though i'm sewing on it, i'm just going like slightly on the top. I'M not going deep all the way through the cap, if that makes sense. So when you get to this part, try to lightly just sew it through, but not all the way through, if that makes sense, um so yeah, i'm just throwing my way around. I use these t paints pins to help me out, like i said, and it makes the process easier. So whatever i do to this side, i'm going to do to the other side. Also, whenever you're done sewing, like the end part, make sure you knot it. That'S how you're gon na make sure that you know it's secure. I always like knot. It make two circles around needle and then knot it. So when you're done sewing down any section, make sure you take your scissors and just clip off the excess thread um and then you can restart another section. I'M just combing out the hair, i'm putting some deep conditioner spray just to keep the hair soft and then i'm gon na braid. These two sections into two big cornrows, i'm putting a t-pin just to keep the hair secure and then i'm gon na braid this down. When you braid it down, make sure you're pulling the front of the frontal, so your frontal can't be like bulky or you know you want it to be flat. So as you're braiding, it make sure you're pulling the front not too hard to rip the frontal. But just to make sure you don't have any bulks or bulges or anything in your funnel and you want it to be as flat as possible and then i'm gon na move on to the next i'm taking out that t pen, i'm gon na sew. This other section down like i did the other section, um yeah, just taking your time and sewing that frontal down flat, make sure that your frontal is flat, because if it is not flat, when you apply your wig on it's going to be bumpy bulky, you don't Want any of that, so that's why, when i'm sewing, i'm making sure that it's laying down flat i'm using the t, pens and so on, and i'm just sewing in the direction that it naturally flows. You know like the way i pull that um hair to the back, so you're gon na sew it down and when you're done you're going to cut off the excess thread, all right, i'm going to comb through this section as well, making sure that i'm braiding it Like i said, and when you're braiding it make sure you're pulling that front down as you're braiding it, so you don't want it to be bulky. You want your frontal to be flat. That'S the reason why we're doing this guys so you're just going to braid this into cornrows, so guys, like i said previously, this is used here. It'S not new here! That'S why it looks like that. I'M just going to put some thread through the needle and start sewing down my track. I'M gon na start at the bottom, the lowest part, is possible when you're sewing this part. This is part of the thickest bin that i was talking about, that black part of the cap make sure you're not sewing all the way through you're only sewing on that top layer of it like the mesh layer of it. If you sew all the way through, i promise you your wig is going to be too small, so you want to make sure you're just putting your needle slightly through, but not all the way through um. I'M gon na end up switching this thread. As you will see, because the thread was too thick, i like to sew through the like the actual track, um, and sometimes that gives me a hard time if the thread is too thick, so i'm gon na change it to like a nylon um thread that i Got from amazon, so that's why it kept getting like knotted and stuff. Also, i'm not gon na bring that track all the way to the frontal. We don't do that. We'Re going to try to follow it like you're, sewing an actual person's head you're following the natural hairline, we're going to imagine a natural hair line with this, so you're going to sew it at the bottom and then you're going to flip it. You don't want to cut your tracks because if you cut it, your hair is gon na shed honey. It'S gon na shed okay, so you only cut your hair when you have to um, so i'm just using those t pens to help the hair stay secure and intact, and it can help. You know make the sewing process easy and i'm sewing through the first layer of that band, not the whole thing, because we don't want that wig to be too small when you got a big head like mine, you're gon na regret it so make sure you follow These instructions, okay, i know it's a bit lengthy, but it'll help you in the end. So when you sew to the one end, you flip the hair over do not cut the track and then you keep on sewing. Also, i'm not doubling the wefts, because i don't like to double it at the bottom. What if i double it at the bottom and then i get to the top and i run out of hair, then who fault? Is it exactly so i do it one track at a time if you feel like your hair is too thin and you want it to be fuller, you can add another, you can double it like in the middle or the top or wherever to make it more. Fuller, but unless you have a bunch of hair to use and you're, guaranteed that your wig gon na be looking nice and you're, not gon na run out of hair, then do not double it at the bottom. So that's what i'm doing take your time and sew through the hair and get you a snatched wig. If that's a thing, i don't know, i'm just cutting that excess thread and then i'm gon na start sewing um. The lighting is gon na change here and there, because i was standing depending on where i'm standing. You know, if i'm in front of the light or whatever it kind of differentiates, so excuse that. But i had to bring you a bomb here: video, okay and guys. It was low-key hard because i had to be mindful of where i was positioning, the um actual mannequin head, so you guys can be able to see you know, because sometimes i forget that i'm recording and i just kind of get into my zone and i'm like. Oh shoot um. I hope i wasn't blocking it for you or whatever, so i tried my best to make sure that you guys are seeing what i'm doing so. I'M just sewing through i'm still using the t pins as i go, do not sew all the way through this black part. This. The part i was talking about do not sew all the way through just the top layer, but no pressure keep on sewing and, like you see, i'm still not pulling that track all the way to the frontal i'm going, i'm making my way there, i'm gon na Get there relax we're getting there, but we want to make sure that we're taking our time, i'm just flipping it over. If you feel like you, don't have enough hair, you could leave like some spacing in in between, like especially the back, because, whatever hair you sew at the top is obviously going to lay on the back. So if you have little spacings and stuff, it's not going to show versus you not having enough hair at the top, and then you got not a wig, because you wouldn't finish your wig, okay girl. So make sure you take your time and follow these instructions like when you're sewing through this meshy part, you could do whatever it's not a big deal because it stretches, but just to be in part, make sure you take your time. That'S all, and for those of you that's been asking: where have you been? I have been making money. Okay, i had to answer the call of the money. Okay, but i'm back. I promise i'm back for good, more videos to come. I'M gon na be consistent. I promise, but your girl had to go, make some money stop covering money, so anyways, i'm just showing you how far we've gotten so far. That'S how the hair is looking and then we're gon na continue to sew the hair down but yeah. I was not posting like i should have been, because i was working a lot. I have gotten and had gotten an opportunity to make some money that i've never made before and i was like um priorities and your girl had to go, but i found that this makes me happy. This is truly one of my passions. I enjoyed doing it, and so i always was thinking about making videos and i'm back to making videos i'm still working here and near, but not as much because i really want to dedicate my time be consistent and give this my all so yeah and before i Forget, if you haven't already checked out my website, please make sure you do is www.upliftherbeauty.com um, i'm gon na be talking more about this in another video. Yes, your girl did open up a clothing online clothing, boutique um, i'm also working on rebranding. So for those of you guys that know that i had opened it, that's why i haven't really been posting a lot, much of it um, because we're rebranding - and you know changing some stuff around, but we will be back, we're still open and i will be making More videos like showcasing the stuff that i'm selling and stuff like that so anyways back to the video i'm flipping the track over and we're sewing and sewing and sewing we're actually we're getting there we're almost touching that frontal guys we're almost touching and we're almost there. Um so yeah just take your time sew through it's really self-explanatory. At this point, i'm not gon na go ahead and talk your ears to death as much as i like talking, but we're just going to keep on slowing down. This is the other end of you know the wig, so i'm still not touching that frontal. If i'm not clear on anything guys or you have any questions or need me to clarify more in any of this process, you can always leave your comments down below and i'll be sure to respond. If i am making another wig video, which i will be making another one, i can be sure to clarify whatever your questions were or whatever you know. You wanted me to clarify more so. Leave your comments down below and if you did enjoy, also leave a comment down below make sure you thumb up the video make sure you share it with your friends, guys, let's build up this family less, you know, let's support each other, so yeah just sewing my Way through uh, what's up foxy, what's up quack and also some specifications on the hair. This is body wave hair, i'm using four bundles. I believe it was 28 26, 24 and 22 and i think the frontal is either 22 or 20.. It'S been a while, since i gotten it um, i'm not sure, on the specifications of the frontal but yeah. This was four bundles and a frontal that i'm using and i'm not gon na use all of it. Um, i'm gon na have some hair remaining just a little bit of hair remaining less than a bundle. Also, if you're wondering if this hair sheds, unfortunately it does - i noticed like when i had first gotten it. It wasn't shedding too much, but obviously, with time and use. You know it's shed here and near that black part, that i was shaking my hand at just saying: don't go through it um, but we've already established that do not go through those black parts. Only the mesh part but um yeah, the hair, does shed um quite a bit. So i don't know it's because when i was taking it out, i did have to cut a few tracks and stuff. But that's what i'm saying do not cut your tracks, because when you do, your hair tends to shed a lot and also the hair does tango here and there um. I feel like it's a little on the high maintenance side, but it's really good. When you put don't put too much product in there like when i put products in my hair, i only do like leave-in conditioner or i might do like a conditioner water mix if it's like curly hair and so, but the less stuff you put in the hair. You know the better, it is for it, so we are touching that frontal nail one thing guys when you reach the frontal: do not sew the hair onto the frontal. Don'T do that because when you sew the hair onto the frontal directly, it's also pulling that frontal and remember what we were braiding and we were pulling it forward, making sure that it was flat and stretched. So you don't want to pull on the frontal like i'm showing here. That'S how far we've reached you want to sew your hair as close to the frontal as possible, without leaving like any spacing in the middle or on the sides of it wherever you are, but do not sew on that frontal at all, because your risk for tearing Your frontal, your risk for making your frontal bulgy or bulky whatever you call it in the front. You want it to keep laying flat. So when the hair is flat, it's easier to install when you're installing it so don't sew the hair onto the frontal. You can sew it as close as possible to the frontal, but not directly on to the frontal nope. So, like you see here, the end of the frontal is that white whitish part over there um do not sew on it, like i said, just come as close as you can to it, and then flip the hair back like i'm doing and keep on sewing. Um put your t-pins in to keep it secure, but do not sew through the front toe and do not sew to the black parts. Um yeah, i don't know if i'm bored guys, but i'm having so much fun with this video. It'S i don't know. I'M excited to be back, so forgive me if i'm talking your ear to death or if i'm singing to that, whatever it is, i'm doing, but i'm really excited okay, i'm excited wow and if you're not following me on instagram or facebook, what are you waiting for? Follow me on instagram guys follow me on facebook i'll follow back. Let'S keep this interactive, okay, so yep just so in my way sewing my way downtown. I'M just kidding i'm sorry guys so over here, like you can see, i actually decided to skip a track or so so i just gave them more spacing and, like i said i can do it because it's in the middle, not at the top. The back. You know not at the top. You want to do this while you can now, but don't do it at the top, because then you're going to see the tracks and stuff so do it. While you can i'm leaving the spacing, because i just realized - i'm sewing the hair nicely and closely together and i have a lot of hair at this point. I know how much hair i have if it's going to be enough and if it's not going to be enough, so i'm just giving it some spacing um yeah. That'S all. I'M also sewing that track down, as close as i can to that frontal, but without sewing on the frontal. So that's what i'm doing here so once you reach the top like. I am right here. This is your chance to adjust the wig that you're making. So if you do realize that, ah my wig is not too full, i really want it full. Then we can start doubling it up here or you can just do like. I did just sew the tracks closer to each other, which also gives that doubling effect. I don't like to double too much also because it's harder to put that needle through the wefts. So this is how far we've gotten i'm just showing that i'm doing a fold over method. Whatever is left over like when you sew there's a little piece left over make sure you fold it over, do not cut it and sew it down so yeah. This is the top. All i did is just make sure i sewed my um wefts close to each other, so it can give it that full look because i have a big head. I promise you if my hair is not full, you gon na, be looking at me like um. What'S going on, so i like my hair to be really nice and full, so i use most of that for bundles. I use most of it. I probably just had a little bit of here left, but the way to make sure you achieve that fuller look is by placing your wefts your tracks closer to each other and sewing it down. So when you do get to the top so close to the frontal. But not directly on the frontal, you want that last track to be as close as possible, like i'm, showing you but do not sew onto the frontal. I'M just brushing it through putting some deep conditioning spray on taking off the braid. So i can start styling the hair, i'm gon na use a comb and start sectioning my hair backwards to make sure that those tracks are covered. So you just you, know, part a row and brush it backwards. Also, i'm going to use a hot comb to make sure that the hair is laying in a direction that i want it to lay. This is a used frontal, so i did have some frizz here and there. So i'm just going to use a hot comb like you're, seeing me do just to make sure that everything is laying backwards spray more deep conditioning spray. Deep conditioner is your friend, i'm gon na make sure that i cut off the excess cap so that black part that you see that's not sewn down to anything. You want to make sure you cut it off. Please be careful when you're cutting do not cut through your lace, frontal you're, gon na be mad, so make sure you take your time when cutting okay and it's easy to style your wig, while it's off your head, so i'm just you know making sure everything is Right, the dome cap that i showed is what i use for my cap is a one size fit all. I'M sectioning this part off, because that's the style that i want. I already have bleach the knots off of this. So if you want me to do a video, which i will be doing, a video on how to bleach dots and how to curl with a curling wand, make sure you leave me a comment down below telling me what you want me to do in future videos. But i didn't want it to be too lengthy, so i just kind of got straight to the point, so i'm just putting in some curls with my favorite curling wand. All i did is just section off the hair added some deep conditioning spray. I combed it through and then i went ahead and curled it. That'S all she did so. The top part that i have in a bun. All i did is just add some holding spray, um use the hot iron, the hot comb i should say, and just kind of kept everything laying down and put the hair in a bun at the top. That'S all i did um yeah, so so guys make sure you get foundation a powder foundation and also a stacking cap that matches your color, i'm braiding my hair down into some cornrows and then i'm going to put the cap on make sure you braid your hair. Small, so it can be flat. Okay, i'm putting some gel on to keep those baby hairs down and blow drying it making sure it's dry, putting the stacking cap on and then i'm going to put some makeup on around the perimeters i'm going to cut off the excess cap. Putting on that lace frontal glue, the one i'm using is by erica j. I really like this one, i'm putting on two layers, i'm doing a section at a time when you put on one layer make sure it dries when it starts to dry, clear. That'S when you know it's dried and then you put another layer. I wasn't gon na wear this wig for too long, probably like two weeks and it held the entire time. So yep take your time section by section blow dry. It make sure it's dry. I'M gon na also be using a holding spray just to spray. On top of that glue, oh i'm using a comb to make sure that i spread it out. Uh completely make sure you take your time. There'S no rush, um yeah make sure the edges are nice and dry. I'M adding that hair band to make sure that everything lays flat. I am brushing that part. That'S the part i'm going to be putting into a bun using a hot comb and other things, to keep it down, slick, holding spray, etc, putting it into a rubber band and then i'm going to use a part or a piece of hair and wrap it around. The rubber band, so you actually can't see the rubber band i'm using a hot comb around it. I'M going to curl that part using holding spray. This part is not slow, because this is a video on how to make a wig. I didn't want it to be too long, so i didn't really prolong the styling portion, but if you want me to do a slower, how to style a wig how to curl how to install, let me know in the comment section i would be glad to do It but make sure you're taking your time when doing all of these steps, adding some curls and i'm gon na keep that headband until i'm done, styling the whole wig and then i'll take it off when i'm done i'll also be adding a little bit of baby. Here i didn't go too crazy with it. Um just took a little bit of here cut it with some scissors use some mousse and some got to be glue and try to slick it down. Um - and then here goes my husband interrupting my video happy. Is that dirty i've so to help lay down that baby? Here, i'm curling that hair that i took out upwards and then i'm going to use the most in a gel. Like i said, he interrupted the video to tell me he loved me: how cute is he, but i just thought it was cute: i'm cutting off the excess lace, the little part that was left, i'm blow-drying stuff she about to be a baddie out here from village Auntie taubadi, okay, i really like how this hair came out guys. I hope you really enjoyed this video. You can't tell me nothing: she's, looking cute or whatever, i'm using that makeup, just to make the hairline realistic, um yeah, so you can use like a powder that matches your skin color to make everything in sync and yeah. This is the finished. Look we made it through. Thank you. Thank you. So much for watching make sure you check out my store, make sure you subscribe and hit that notification bell. I love you guys. Thank you. So much
