Updated Bald Cap Method + Detailed Frontal Wig Install | Unice Hair

So, what's up africana fam, it's your girl, young africana, back at it again with another video, and we are jumping straight into this wig install and to start this install we're going to go ahead and start with that ball cap method and i'm going to use the Hair diagram bold, hold liquid gold gel and i'm going to apply that around the perimeter of my hairline and then use my baby hair brush just to sleek it back into my edges, so that my edges could be nice and sleek. For my ball cap method and i like to use my blow dryer on the hottest setting just to kind of mold it into place so that it is not curling up for me or anything or it's just slicking back. So i'm going to do this all around my hair and you guys this is the truth. Y'All, like this lasts me for days. I like using this product because i feel like it - has the strongest hold versus any other gel that i've ever used and for the ball cap method. You just want to make sure that there's no hair in your way and everything is nice and slick back. So you don't end up losing hair, but now i'm going to go in and use a wig cap from the beauty supply store um. You want to make sure that it has a nice stretch and preferably your skin tone, but i don't have my skin tone. So i'm just using this one and i'm just putting the wig cap over my ears and right now. What i'm taking is some shears and i'm cutting some holes around the air area of um the wig cap, and this should just help. The wig cap lay flat on my head um before i go ahead and use the gel to adhere it and again you just want to make sure that you're just cutting only around the air part and nothing more or nothing less all right. So now i'm gon na go in with a foundation brush in my foundation. My foundation is my skin color, so i'm gon na go ahead and just use the foundation brush in the foundation and just go ahead and tint. My wig cap to the color of my skin, so everything could be nice and flush. You want to make sure that your wig cap is the color of your skin, so that, underneath of the lace, you don't you're, not able to see it, and it's pretty much like your skin, and this is just kind of give you like that skin type effect. Underneath your lace, without you seeing the grids and now on to adhering the wig cap, i'm going to go back in with the liquid gold, and i am going to just outline the perimeter of my hairline with it. And i'm just using my fingers. Just to kind of smear it out, and this again will just help the wig cap, just um, you know, adhere to your head and you know, give you a nice flawless ball cap method and the ball cap method is supposed to save your edges and supposed to Save your hair from getting in contact with any of the glue that you use now, especially for the air top area, because i know that's the part that usually lifts the most. I like to just use my finger and then use my blow dryer in the hottest setting and just kind of tack it down until it's dry, just so that it's nice and flat. And you want to let that dry for about 15 minutes or until it's dry and now we're going to go ahead and use our shears and i'm going to cut into little sections. And i start in the middle first then my temples and then the tendril area, which is like near my ear, and i just like to do this just so that um the wig cap doesn't like unravel. While i'm doing it and i'm gon na go ahead and just work in sections with my eyebrow razor and i'm gon na cut close to the hairline as possible or where i gelled it at i'm, just like slightly lifting up the wig cap to where i gelled It down at and then i'm using my um eyebrow razor just to kind of razor it off, and you want to make sure that you eraser is pretty sharp and new. Just so that it's able to just cut through easily and just be careful and take your time, so you don't cut yourself now that that's done. I like to go back in with my foundation brush and just use any of the left over foundation around the perimeter, because i do have like a little white cast and there we have it you guys. This is a ball cap method. It is super easy and flesh, as you guys can see, but now on to the install i like to go in with my 91 alcohol and i'm just using, like you know, a little towel um and i'm gon na pour some of the alcohol on there and Then wipe my hairline down with it just to remove any dirt or grease or just any type of you know, residue around my hairline. Now i'm gon na use the erica j homemade down adhesive skin guard and i'm just spraying that around my hairline and then letting that dry and now on to the wig. This hair is sponsored by yuni's hair. I have their brazilian curly and 24 inches and this is their hd, 13x4 frontal wig and i went ahead and bleached the knots it did come pre-plucked and i also tinted the lace as well and right now. What i did is. I went ahead and cut some slits near the temple area and now i'm just cutting off any of the excess lace around my ear area and i'm gon na flip the wig back. I already have a position to where i want it at, and i just have a foot back and now on to glue. I'M using my erica j hold me down adhesive and i'm just going to go ahead and just outline the perimeter of my hairline and i'm just going to apply just little dots. I am only using two layers of the glue. I don't want it to stay on. For too long, but now i'm just using my baby hair spatula tool to just smear down that glue and in between each layer. Let that dry clear before i apply the next layer. Now i'm just going to go ahead and let that dry clear before i apply the wig onto the glue. Now that the glue is dry to clear, i'm gon na go ahead and apply my wig, and i want the wig hairline to be in front of the glue not directly on it but in front of it. Just so that i have a little bit of wiggle room when it comes to um, applying more glue, because taking off glue is a headache y'all. So again, you want to make sure that it is in front of the glue not behind it or not directly on it and again, i just started from the middle first and then went on the sides after and then once i have um a position where i Want it to be, then i start patting it down with my hands and just kind of smushing it in together. Now i'm going to go in with my eyebrow raise and i'm starting off with the middle section. First of where i cut the slits at, and i'm going to use my eyebrow razor just to cut off the excess lace and i'm cutting it in a jagged motion. You want to make sure that you cut it jaggedly just so that it is hard for you to see the line of demarcation of the lace instead of you just doing a straight up claws and i'm just going to go ahead and do that for each side. Now i'm going to go ahead and lift up the laces to see if i miss any spots and i'm going to go in with my rat tail um comb, the metal part i'm going to apply some glue in the areas of where i missed it, and just Outline where i um have the hairline at i'm, going to do two layers of that again and then, once it dry clear just you know press that in with my rat tail comb, and i'm just doing this all around the hair until everything is glued down. Now that everything is done now we're going to go into the baby hairs, i'm going to go ahead and start covering out some baby hairs, so i'm just taking out the front part of the hairline just so i can create my baby hairs. I'M going to do this all around the hairline now i'll, be using my hot comb on the hottest setting and i'm just going to go ahead and press out the hairline. That is not the baby hair, because i am going for this slick. Rick type. Look you guys, so i want to make sure the hairline is nice and flat, and i also do want to press out the baby hairs as well too. So i could train the baby hairs as well as the hairline. Now on to the meltdown. I'M gon na go in with my fantasia liquid mousse and this is the mega whole spritz. I'M going to spray that around my hairline and then i'm going to go in and just use an elastic band and tie that around my hair and i'm going to let that sit for about 20 minutes or until it's dry. And this just helps the hairline really melt in and for to the like scalp, now that the 15 to 20 minutes is up, i'm taking it down, as you guys can see, it is melted in and now on, to cutting the baby hairs. This is the fun part y'all, i'm going to go in with my eyebrow raise and i'm just going to cut my baby hairs about like an inch long um, the middle part is going to be a little bit shorter than the sides just because i, like my Middle um baby hairs to be a bit shorter and then i'm going to go in with my tvx flat iron from amazon. This is their 1 3 inch flat iron. I'M just going to go ahead and curl upwards, i'm going to curl the baby hairs upwards. Just so that's easier for me to mold them, and i'm going to do this all around the hairline now before we start molding the baby hairs. I wanted to make sure that i am um slicking back that hairline again, because we are going for that slick back type. Look so i do want to make sure that hairline is nice and slick before i start doing baby hairs, and now i'm going to go in with my nairobi setting lotion and i'm going to use my rat tail comb just to form my baby hairs and i'm Just going to kind of just swoop them i'm going to play around with it, make sure that your hands are light. Please be light-handed when you are swooping down, because if you're, not your lace will start to lift and if your lace is lifting is a possibility that you didn't let your glue dry long enough too. So yes, i'm just gon na i'm, just gon na go ahead and just swoop them. You know play around and just you know suit them things. So i did let them dry and i did my makeup off camera clearly. So now what i'm going to go ahead and do is just comb out my baby hairs and i did notice that the baby hairs are still a bit too long. So i'm going to go ahead and go back into my razor. My eyebrow raise and just cut them a bit shorter and also just play around with it. I'M also just going to go ahead and just use my fantasia spritz and spray on my baby hair brush just to kind of form. My baby hair, so they're not like flying everywhere so and now before i wet the hair, i'm gon na go back in one more time because he knows it's. Never it's no such thing as too slick, okay, um, but i'm gon na go back in and just you know, press down that hairline. This hair is very curly for some reason you guys so it's kind of hard to get that hairline to be nice and flat. Like how i want it to be, but but we got it though we got it there, so i'm just flying it out, just to make sure it's nice and flat before i apply some water and some loose onto my hair. Now i did with my hair with water off camera, but now i'm just going to go in with my nairobi setting low lotion, i'm applying that on my hair and i'm just go. I'M also going to use a paddle brush just to kind of define those curls and just make sure everything is one. Now i'm going in with my bio silk serum and i'm just applying that on my hair, so that any flyaways that are there can, you know, not fly away, and overall, these are the finished results. This is how i achieved my slick back frontal install.
